Running with that belt couple of months. Great gear for. Very soft belt. Even no vaseline for long runs neded. Good connection with Garmin Fenix 6. Data is going very correctly. Highly recommended for long distances runners

Always had issues with garmin hr straps and this one despite paying lots more money stopped working after just over a year. Happily Amazon helped out and offered a refund.

If you want one product to map pretty much all that is potentially recordable then for me this is the go to

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNot much to add to be honest. If you know tbe brand, you know the quality. It syncs perfectly with no issues. It fits nice and it doesn’t move as the strap is comfortable and has a nice grip

I bought this after owning a Wahoo Tickr X HRM for 2 years, which kept failing and being replaced under warranty (Wahoo support is great, and they send replacements very quickly, but I’d just had enough). The Wahoo had a lot of issues registering HR at the start of exercise, and would intermittently drop to very low readings, as well as suffer frequent disconnects from my Garmin Fenix 6 Pro. In the end, I bit the bullet and went for the Garmin, and I’m very glad I did. Being Garmin, it works seamlessly with the Garmin watch, and despite having very similar running dynamics sensors to the Wahoo, the metrics are so much better from the Garmin HRM (likely because Garmin deliberately ignores certain readings from 3rd party HRMs). In any case, it’s incredibly accurate from the moment I start my run, and the electrode material seems much better at inducing sweat than the Wahoo was, which helps it to maintain good skin contact. The strap is really comfortable, and stays in place much better than the Wahoo did. It’s a shame it’s not removable, but it seems durable, and hopefully should last a good few years. For runners, there is no better HRM than this – don’t hesitate to buy it!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLove it. Can’t mark battery. But will update if it dies in the next 2 months. It will depend on useable but it’s a good quality strap and comfy

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI purchased the Garmin HRM-PRO for one reason – I wanted to have the ability to monitor as accurate as possible real time heart rate data while running. The product is a decent design and fits comfortably around my chest – much smaller & neater than I expected.

Forgive me if I’ve missed something here Garmin team – you can’t monitor real time heart data out of the box – you need to sync the device with Strava. I wouldn’t recommend Zift – a brief look at this app gave me a headache – some kind of meta verse akin to fortnite.

Syncing with Strava allows you to see real time heart data as you train. You need to ensure your Bluetooth privacy preferences are set to allow Strava & that the device is only linked to Strava (Bluetooth can only support 1 connection).

Garmin strike me as being good at hardware and not so good at the software (why would you pay a premium price for the HRM-PRO to only be able to view historical heart rate data in the Garmin Connect app?! Historical heart rate data is no use to me once I’ve had a heart attack!!). Overall good – you will need to be relatively tech savvy or get someone who is to do initial setup. Garmin support we’re helpful with their live chat. Happy training!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI love all things Garmin. And now I love this.

Reason for purchase, I lost my dual HRM. I already have a HRM-Tri, but for Zwift etc it needs ANT+

Now this HRM is effectively 2 HRM’s in 1. Garmin solved a very common problem.

Gives all the metrics of the HRM-Tri with the added benefit of HRM-Dual connectivity it fits as comfortable as them as well.

    Devices paired with.

    Apple TV4K
    Apple IPhone 12 Pro Max
    Apple iPad Air 2
    Garmin 935XT
    Garmin Edge 1000

    I highly recommend this device.

I have a Fenix 6s and I use this for running and riding my spin bike -it connects easily to my peloton and my watch (it’s automatic and I don’t need to request) I’m sure it’s probably more accurate the sensor in the watch.

The HRM is much more accurate than the sensor on the back of my watch. Takes a few runs to get used to it being there but a great piece of kit.

Works in water when swimming, just what I needed for triathlon training.
    Good for OW under wetsuit
If you can afford it i would recomend the blue swimming one separate as it dose slip down chest in the pool when pushing off the wall.

I use this for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and it stays in place pretty well. Theres the odd time it clips out of place. Securing the hook with a bit of tape works well.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersI’ve used my Garmin heart rate senior on many runs now and I can say it really does make a big difference, I certainly feel my heart rate measurements are a tad bit more accurate with. You also get the ability to see more metrics in the Garmin connect app which really helps, has helped me improve my gate and posture while running, I haven’t used it for cycling or swimming yet but it’s definitely going to get a test when the time comes.

Fits comfortably for me, my chest is 42″ so have no problems there it’s also very comfortable and I don’t feel it while running, only grip is that I have pretty big late so it does slide down sometimes but not enough to cause any issues.

The battery life has no complaints from me, been using it on a regular basis and it’s still on full charge, wonders of a cell battery, it was a tad bit expensive but all in all I’d say it was definitely money well spent for me

    Great device can't go wrong

I’ve been using it with a Fenix 6 for the last few months and I am happy both with the performance and the battery life of the heart rate monitor.

Bought this to get more accurate HR readings from my run. I am using it with a Garmin 245 Music Forerunner. Fit is ok and although you notice it when putting it on after a while you forget its there. No rubbing. When finished running i hang it up to dry as the strap always is a bit damp from sweat. Exactly what i wanted

Purchased as an upgrade from an older Garmin chest HRM. Very comfortable to wear and easy to set up and integrate with existing Garmin ecosystem.

I personally find it worth the extra money to have the ability to record activities while not wearing a Garmin watch (martial arts or other activity where the watch could get damaged).

I had to add an extension strap to fit properly but this is available from Garmin.
ANT+ and Bluetooth work well together so I can log on phone and watch. The running metrics are more than I need but this certainly has everything you might want.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersMore accurate than my garmin fenix 6. Pairs quickly. Survives regular washing. Fits well and stays in place. Used for gym, running, cycling.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought to replace a broken Garmin HRM-run. The HRM-pro is very expensive and there’s not much to the extra use cases over the run or tri versions. If you swim, or want to count steps when you can’t wear a watch, then this is for you. Otherwise it’s almost identical to the cheaper Garmin HRMs.

Bought this product to offer more accuracy of my heart rate while also working seamlessly with my existing Garmin product (Fenix 6x Pro). The heart rate belt is comfortable to wear and offers great accuracy, while also offering increased metrics in activities like running, such as cadence, vertical movement etc. Setting up was easy and have had no issues pairing with my phone app, watch, cycle computer (Wahoo) and other products such as Zwift too. The belt is easy to wipe down and clean and fits well around my chest. All in all a great additional to my exercise tech.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLove it! I’ve only had it a few days but it’s definitely added an extra level of accuracy in monitoring my heart rate zones. Slight variation to Garmin Fenix 5X and albeit slight it’s enough to make an impact when training. Good quality, comfortable or as comfortable as it could be. Probably could have gotten away with the Garmin HRM Run but went for this to cover all bases. Well worth it.
