The item is relatively new to us. The main reason to get it was the flexibility offered by the large dual zone. It was straightforward to install – just had to get a 30A connector from the DIY shop. Be careful as you will need to fit 2 cables in one hole (or get 4 holes and interconnect 2. If you don’t understand electrical connections, get an electrician to install it. So far it’s working just fine. The controls are a bit different from our previous ceramic hob, but you get used to it. One downside is that it locks very easily. We would have also liked the smaller zones on the left to be reversed (i.e. the small one closer to the controls). Anyway, there aren’t many ceramic hobs out there that offer such a large zone as this one and so far we’re quite happy with our purchase. Let’s see how it lasts!

We purchase the 90CM hob for my mother. Unfortunately the item had an issue a month or so after installation. We feared the worst but how wrong were we. The after sales service was excellent and within a matter of days my elderly mother received a brand new hob and its been perfect ever since. I would certainly recommend JAL as a company and one who takes responsibility when things go wrong and ensure the situation is resolved to the customers satisfaction.
Se instala super fcil, lo nico que hay que poner enchufe que viene sin l. Por lo dems colocacin sper rpido. Se utiliza muy fcil, con temporizador y amplias zonas de cocinado. Al poco tiempo de la compra, dej de funcionar una zona y rpidamente me contestaron y me enviaron una nueva. De agradecer su pronta respuesta. Recomiendo
The hob arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Exact size. Was fitted by our electrician. The two extra hob spaces are very useful for larger pans. The controls easy to use and understand. Straightforward to clean. So far so good!
Pre wired so easy to install. Looks good, arrived well packaged and in good condition.
This was something of an emergency purchase just before Christmas as our old hob died and we were wary of an unknown brand but all seems good so far. Only odd feature is the control system. There is only one, so you need to select the ring you want to adjust and then adjust the temperature via a touch sensitive slider. OK but it means pressing two buttons rather than one and of course identifying the right button in the first place. Sounds like a trivial moan but in practice it means a bit of dithering while something boils over!
Na 2 dagen gebruik hield grootste kookzone er mee op. Contac opgenomen met verkoper. Het was even lastig voor mij om video/foto’s in te sturen van wat er loos is, maar uiteindelijk gelukt en morgen wordt er zonder gedoe van retourneren of discussie oid een nieuwe bezorgd. Dus uitstekende service. De plaat op zich is prachtig en werkt buiten die ene kookzone als een zonnetje.

As with all ceramic jobs it can need a bit of elbow grease to clean off spills
Only problem I had with it was there was no paperwork as how to use it and no Guarantee guarantee
Product arrived and the hob was shattered. I organised return and refund and immediately re ordered as damage clearly occurred in transit. The company responded straight away and organised refund. The replacement was received first thing following morning. Excellent customer service and product, now installed looks amazing. Easy to use, versatile and easy to clean. Very happy.
Not had a fixed hob in years, have used the portable hobs and decided to get this. Easy to install but a shame it can’t be connect directly to the electric cooker connector we have and it has to be plugged in. It heats up quickly and simple to use. Took a little while working out the best number to put it in to cook certain foods. But after 12 months I roughly know what number is best to cook on. The instructions that arrived with it were great and easily to read. As with any ceramic cooker it marks easily with food stains but easily to clean off with a little elbow grease I haven’t noticed any scratches and we cover when not in use with a teatowel. Over all were quite pleased with our little cooke
Had to change my induction hob due to my wife having a pacemaker fitted, not as fast as the induction but I suppose I’ll get used to i
The hob fit the cut out dimensions of my previous hob which made fitting straightforward despite the cooking surface being larger than the original hob. I chose this hob over others as the touch controls received better feedback. My experience is that the controls are responsive and easy to use. The only build I would consider in the future is I would possibly prefer the controls on the side of the hob to minimise little fingers touching them.
It’s taken a week to get used to this hob as I had my old Neff Ceramic hob for over 12 years. I like that you have two rings that can be used as ordinary rings or be made bigger for use with really big pans. Early days but I do think I’m going to love it.
not too bad once your used to it but but when you turn down the heat it does take a while and the same when heating things up
on a induction hob its a quick wipe and your done but with ceramics your better of getting a hob cleaner because it does leave marks on it and they dont wipe of like an inductio
I’ve now had my job for a couple of months and it’s great. Love the different sizes of hobs.
Some people have mentioned the peeping. It usually does this because I’ve put something on the surface. It’s a good warning!
I find it easy to clean. You do need to be careful not to spill things and “cook” them into the surface but not using the highest temperatures and watching your pots while cooking should mean you can avoid this happening or catch it immediately and wipe it off!

This 2 ring job is the perfect addition to my kitchen very easy to use and clean and looks very stylish along side my stove.
