Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe mobile has a big 7 inch screen which is great if you use it as a car navigator or take pictures. The cameras in the mobile take excellent pictures, and there are many useful apps to use including the Google Assitant.

I’ve always had iphone’s since the 3gs, so when moving to the pixel 7 pro I was rather apprehensive. although my concerns didn’t last long, its proving to be a great phone

Last google phone I had was a few years ago and called a Nexus 4. That was agreat phone and as my redmi note10 pro wasnt happy with a broken screen and being dropped in the sink, I though “why not” so after a lot of reasearch and price checking (Amazon was the cheapest) I bought this beauty. Strangley it was cheaper for the 256gb than the 128gb. So a case and screen protectors later and next day delivery had me chuckling like a first time user of a mobile phone. So I went with the hazel colour scheme and it really is a good looking colour. Feels good in the hand and has a screen thats so sharp. Anyhow, set up was a breeze even from the old redmi. Just follow the pixel instructions and away you go. Everything and I mean everything copied over including settings pics the lot. No issues at all. As regards the phone…..well constructed and a good 1.25 days battery life. Remembered you need to buy a charger brick as theres not one included, but a recommendation sorted that out for under 16. Also double check that the chargers you use do infact work on the pixel as I’ve found a couple of first gen ‘C’ type dont. So all in all a good phone that isstreets ahead of anything else Ive had and is great to use.

I absolutely love this package deal. Great price & for once, I have an up to date phone. The kids always come first so I always settle for older models (Samsung) due to affordability. This package was definitely too good a deal to not buy. Easy to order, rapid delivery & I’m now converted after always having Samsung. This Google Pixel 7Pro has the best camera. And so easy to navigate around, especially with the guided set up. Brillia

As you’d expect, excellent phone. Although a little disappointed with the battery life

The issue that I had and the reason for deducting one star is that Google lack an easy to download manual for their phones leaving me scrolling and phoning, then feeling a bit stupid! The phone does work however and is as described, but comes without the plug needed to charge it that has to be bought separately. You can charge via USBc but I didn’t want to strain the battery on my laptop all the time, so a bit cross.

I moved from a Huawei Mate 20 x, to a Pixel 6 and then the 7 Pro. All I can say is that it’s an absolutely fantastic phone. I ‘did’ miss the screen size of the 20 x, but quickly realised that the advantages of the 7 pro were more than enough to forget that grumble. I mainly use the 7 pro as my general phone and for photos. Hence, the camera has to be up there with the best.

All that’s missing is multi-camera video recording (when the camera records using the front camera and rear camera, to get a forward/backward view. Would be great for vlogs).

I’ve not had a phone with facial recognition before, so having this feature was a pleasant surprise. The fingerprint reader doesn’t always identify my print on the first time, but that doesn’t really matter as the facial recognition makes up for it. I did put a screen protector on my phone, that severely hampered the recognition systems, so I removed it.
The phone has plenty of features that my Pixel 3 did not have, I’m working my way through the various optons it offers and I am pleasantly surprised with its versitility.
The camera is very good and was one of the reasons why I chose this model. Colour reproduction is excellent. I haven’t as yet discovered how to access and use all the options the camera aparently offers. This is work in progress and I’m sure with a bit more practice ans usage its secrets will be revealed.
The only downer is that I found the case to be slippy, buying a protective case seems to have solved that issue. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPreviously opted for mid-ranged priced phones but decided to buy this one. Camera is amazing compared to old phone, clear, sharp, no blurriness inside or out. The eraser feature didn’t work well for one of the pictures taken inside the home however.
Really easy to acquaint yourself to, such as volume and switching off etc.
Use the speaker when calling or answering phone – very clear and no distortions.
Battery life is very good. Can go without recharging for days if you’re economical with usage.
Not too much bloatware to get rid of.
Like all the special features of this phone; noting songs it hears and storing them up, eraser on camera, recognising business numbers dialling for first time etc.
Data updates are guaranteed for 4/5 years.
Draw back – the camera base jutts out a bit so not flat to the surface but this is minor and shouldn’t put you off if thinking of buying.
Overall a good buy and recommended. Arrived on time too.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery happy with the phone. Love the smoothness. The internal processor seems very efficient and fast. The camera is great, I am a prior Huawei user. I love taking photos. I am so happy with the product, I bought a second one for my family. I love the nighttime mode, as you can still use it at night without hurting your eye. Love the userfriendlyness of the phone along with all up-to-date features. Nice one Google and Amazo

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGot context, I’ve been a Samsung user for years. This time I decided to try the pixel 7 pro

Initial impressions, I like it, a lot.
It’s super quick. My last phone was the Galaxy 21+. Great phone.

It is taking some adjustment, getting used to a new experience and I don’t like the swipe navigation which is set by default, for me, it doesn’t work well. But you can switch to a classic 3 button nav style.

The camera is really good… As good as latest galaxy? Not sure, but it’s minimal I would say.

The screen is lovely to use. Writing on the keyboard is smooth.

Fingerprint unlock and face unlock are really quick. It’s perfect. Best fingerprint experience I’ve had and result equal face recognition to the new iPhones (I have work iPhone, latest model)

Charging is really quick. I know there have been people saying it’s slow. I’m unsure why they think that. It’s really quick for me.

    Everything integrates really well.

I love the hazel colour as well

    Overall, I’m so far impressed

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersGot the Snow colored Pixel 7 Pro and it has pleasantly surprised me. Google’s software experience has to be the cleanest and smoothest running of all the phones I’ve ever used. Only caveat is that you won’t be able to uninstall some stock google software. The phone is a scratch & dust magnet so get a silicon case that covers it and it’s camera. Also, get a decent tempered glass screen protector and thank me later. The battery life could be better and as well as the charging time as 23W is slow by today’s standard. The Camera… OH WOW! One of the best phone cameras ESPECIALLY at this price point. Competes with the Samsung S22 in my opinion. Apple is still king in this category. Brand new it comes with the phone, usb C to A adapter, a charging cable & sim removal tool. That’s it. Got to get your own power brick or use an old one that you may have laying around. The fingerprint scanner is not bad. It works. Use it with face unlock for a smother experience. Google’s software is what makes up for the short comings on this phone. Overall, a good buy. You can pick up the Pixel 7 for cheaper if you don’t need the telephoto lens & can do with a 1080p screen @90hz refresh rate. It share many of the features with it’s bigger brother that has a 1440p screen with 120hz refresh rate. Excellent phone(s).

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI decided to try Pixel after several years of Samsung phones.

Coming from a Samsung z flip 3 (which needed charged 3 times a day) the battery life on the pixel is AMAZING!

Charging is slow, you don’t get a wall charger in the box and I cannot find a wireless charger that works with this phone. However, plug it in overnight on a 30w charger and phone will very comfortably last from 6am to 1030pm with around 30% battery left.

The fingerprint reader is by far the best I’ve ever used on any phone, it never fails.

My only minor grumbles are that bedtime mode switches on and removes colour even if you are watching a full screen movie, I can’t find a way of backing up my photos to anything other than Google, the standard ringtones / alerts are too quiet (I had to download some) and the phone’s themes / system colour palettes are rather dull (I’m used to bright and colourful themes from Samsung).

Overall though I am very pleased with this phone and I think for the price it is fantastic. You won’t get better value for money elsewhere

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOmg the camera is amazing as well as the photo processing afterwards to touch up. After a while though the lights in night time photos become lasers. So if your going to buy this phone I recommend a case that covers the lenses. Best not to touch the lenses either.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThey were doing a trade in deal so I got this for around 600. Its definitely a good phone but the marginally smaller 7 would have fit my hand and pocket better, and apart from the telephoto lens (which seems excellent) there’s no reason to spend the extra money. Battery is also average but this is how all Pixel phones are.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI thought Google’s phone would be worth a try this year after my iPhone 11 broke after nearly 2 years and I couldn’t justify 1,000s of for an iPhone 14 pro max.

Google software is so smooth and quick with everything easy to access and change, the screen is bright with great sensitivity for touch with haptic feedback providing great feedback when typing and tapping.
The camera quality is just wow! I’m blown away with how good it is compared to my last one and considering that Google phones weren’t that popular but this gives apple and samsung a run for their money.

The phone isn’t great to hold without case due to slidyness but a case is inexpensive and useful! I would definitely buy Google again and recommend to anyone

And as a photographer the camera is well received as I wouldn’t be ashamed to post the phones cause the quality is just crazy!!

    BUY GOOGLE OVER APPLE

    Very disappointed

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersI bought this phone mainly for it’s camera as I was keen to get a bit more artistic with my photography. It certainly didn’t disappoint. There are loads of nice features on the camera, including macro and zoom, grid lines can be switched on to help with composition, the object you want to focus on can be locked, and much much more. It is excellent in low light and you can also do time lapse photography. I found the best way to learn of all the capabilities and how to use them was to watch instructional YouTube videos to learn.
At 6.7 inches it is a large phone so you need to be prepared for that. The screen is crisp and clear.
Photo’s are stored in google photo’s but as I was out of storage I had to download a gallery app. In fact storage is the only main complaint I have. There is nowhere to mount a SD card or dual Sim. So as I wanted to take a lot of pictures and videos I bought a SD Card Reader, USB 3.0 & USB C External Memory Card Adapter for SD/Micro SD which is relatively cheap and I can download my pics and video’s onto a SD card that way and thus free up the phone from storage.
Charging was relatively quick with a usb c cable as the phone will support up to 30w but you can charge wirelessly. You will need to buy a charger plug for the usb c cable if you haven’t already got them.
The in display fingerprint sensor I found to be poor. More often than not it doesn’t recognise it and I have to input a 4 digit code.
As far as using it as a phone is concerned. All the controls are straight forward and simple to use. The sound is good and when taking calls background noise appears to be blocked out somewhat.
At first, the only way I could find to switch on the Do not Disturb function was to go through settings and then sounds, this was a real pain. However, with playing around I found that if you pull down the quick settings menu there is an edit icon on the bottom right and if you press on that it takes you to lots of quick setting possibilities, one of which is the Do Not Disturb, so I have now added that to my quick settings menu.
I have only had the phone less than a week so still learning all it’s capabilities but so far I really love it. The only negatives I have found so far is the previously mentioned temperamental fingerprint sensor and the lack of SD card/storage but as I explained I have found a work around for that.

Replaced Samsung S21 ultra as Samsung have useless service, so far the phone is decent with great image quality, zoom not as good as the S21 ultra but the camera works well and the phone works well, had a few minor issues that I’m trying to resolve but still happy to date

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersYes, I was use pixel 6 pro before that, for me was great phone without any issue just big problem was battery drain.
I was hope pixel 7 pro will better.
So yes is exactly great, in first place I not play games on phone, but phone replaced my laptop and tablet, use it 8h+ a day for work is well.
Most day yes that is huge change, now all turn on all time (GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth etc) also I’m screen res on max and I got 8-9h+ on screen a day with no problem, few calls, whattsapp, chrome, Spotify etc.
Phone that self is fast and really good, sometimes got problem with touch screen not reaction or take 10s to react. But that is like once a day so no big deal.
What is big – on this phone and for me something I can’t accept and still fighting with google is my huawei watch 3 pro, google somehow block this series (watch3/3pro) not gt series. And they didn’t work on this phone ( not have notifications, can’t make calls, nothing share steps, exercise etc) and that even didn’t told you before you bought phone, what worse first 1.5 months they pretend like they didn’t know what’s wrong, after everyday questions they come with yes they not compatible with pixel 7s and said its on purpose.
They even bother inform clients or potential clients to told them with this issue.
And second thing I seen is dysplay gorilla glass must be some worse then others, never had scratches on displays but this is first when I got it. Its small but is there and must use screen covers. Not sure what they done but is definitely worse it.

Rest is fab on phone, even not overheat, charging is fine no issue at all,
    No signal issues etc.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA snappy and excellent pure android phone with a first rate camera. But is it as good as the competition? That been flagship phones from Samsung. Having come from a note 10 plus I can say definitely not. Samsung just has so much more in the way of customising the phone to your individual usage that the pixel 7 pro lacks. But the pixel is several hundred pounds cheaper than the current Samsung flagship so that’s to be expected. Want the best phone for the price then the pixel wins hands down. But if you want the best android phone on the market then honestly I would say you have to look more closely at the Samsung flagship handsets and decide which features you need on a phone and which features are not as important to you. Recommended with a few minor reservations

Golden Review Award: 33 From Our UsersIf you watch MKBHD or Dave2D etc on YouTube, you’ll see proof of how good this phone is. I’ve had it since yesterday and I am really loving it so far. I switched from a OnePlus 7Pro which I had for about 4 years, it had served me well but it was starting to get slow.

The Google Pixel 7 Pro has been a brilliant upgrade. It truly feels like smartest smartphone on the market. It is extremely intuitive and has lots have nice little additions that make your life easier. The screen is lovely and a great size, especially the 120Hz refresh rate! Battery has lasted a long while for a 1440p screen with a high refresh rate.

The sound is slightly tinny I’ll admit, but it prioritises voice clarity, so it makes up for it in that region.

The camera is outstanding, really on par with Samsung and iPhone. The processing, sharpness, and colour is very realistic and uses that HDR well. It is especially great with it’s neat features like Magic Eraser and Face Unblur.

The pain has been that it does not come with a wall charger which means I’m panicking about buying one from the Google store. I’m currently using a Mac charger lead which is probably not ideal.

This phone really does make smile with all its intelligent little features. It all works swiftly and smoothly, especially the Google Wallet and multitasking.

I am in my 20s and would consider myself a techie. So I really recommend this! Excited to get my free Google earbuds pro. I would suggest not getting the smartwatch as from what I’m hearing, the battery is no good and it is too small. Whereas, the earbuds are supposedly the best on the market.
