Sorry, I can’t give a comprehensive report as I haven’t had the opportunity to wear them out for any great distance. Just breaking them in at the moment.

Best walking/Hiking boots ever . Lost count how many pairs I’ve had . At moment one very old pair in shed for gardening. The ones I wear every day and have walked miles in with dog . Sole and grip just fading after two years. Just bought new pair for best as I live and die in them . Great boots if you suffer from foot problems . Like wearing clothes. Feet snug and dry . Fist pair I’ve bought from Amazon. Fabulous price . Lot cheaper than anywhere else after trawling only. Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBest boots I’ve ever bought. Comfortable from the first time I wore them. They appear waterproof so far. Will buy from this company again. I am a size 5 and have wide feet. I bought a 6 and they fit fantastic.

I ordered a UK size 12 as shown on Amazon website, hoping that would be a EU size 47. Shoestation confirmed that it would be, and the delivery was made on Monday 1st November. As the manufacturer states, “They are comfortable straight out of the box” and so they proved to be.
I’m very satisfied with my purchase!

These boots fit well (size 8) and were remarkably comfortable from day one. Having now completed 20+ walks, they remain completely waterproof during the morning “long wet grass tests” (lets hope they remain so, finger crossed). The hooks are a bit fiddly to get the laces in but this is a minor issue; overall these appear to be very good boots.

I’ve had difficulty before with walking boots being tight at the toes and rubbing at the heel. These however, were perfect. My only criticism would be they were a little hard so I added a gel insole. So far they’re comfy, waterproof and I’m very pleased with them.

These boots fit perfectly and are very comfortable from the moment I put them on.
I’ve not rated them for waterproof or value for money as I’ve not had them on the hill or in wet weather yet.

Boots fit good and so far been waterproof, I’ve had comfier better fitting boots but have also paid 4x as much for them. So far I’ve done approx 50 miles in them and no problems , the only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is I have only had them 1 week so no Idea how they will wear over time .

My husband is very impressed with these sturdy, well made boots – no blisters or chafing . He has yet to try them in wet weather but so far they are to be recommended and a good price

Boots are great so far, very comfortable straight out the box, and are almost are living up to their reputation. More time will tell.
The only slight concern I have is the toughness of the soles, high on the list of requirements when I purchased, which are already showing signs of wear on the heel area. I wear them almost every day when walking the dog and mainly on tarmac but haven’t done 100’s of miles in them.

These boots seem to be very good value. They fit well (I had returned another well-known brand as they were too small) and I have found them extremely comfortable straight out of the box.
Made in Italy from good quality materials so should last well. I haven’t had chance to test their ability to stay dry yet, but they should be adequate for my needs, mainly hiking in good ground.

Definitely waterproof, look great and feel quite light. Grip is excellent on wet and muddy terrain. Quite high at ankle which I’m not used to but hopefully once ive worn them a little longer they will be fine! Bit more expensive than the other ones I initially bought but think they are much better quality

I have been searching high and low for comfortable boots and at last I have find one…. It’s only been a few days of wear but I must say, it already feels a part of my feet!! So much so, I bought a pair for my wife!!

Its a narrow boot so I had to order a larger size – but it is a nice boot and good value for the money thank you for changing it so quickly

Had these boots before, lasted a few years before water got in, and I wear these everyday, so well worth Paying a bit extra, than buying a cheap pair and only lasting a few months.

I purchased these walking boots online. A bit dubious as I like to try on shoes before I buy. I am so pleased with them; the comfort more so.
A good sturdy boot, my husband is thinking of purchasing a pair.
I would recommend these to anyone who is thinking of walking boots.

Amazing, beats my old army boots hands down, so comfy, great support, really good anti twist, so warm I can imagine I might not be able to wear them in summer. Only slight wish is for grip, I’m used to some bare foot style trail runners with ridiculous grip levels so this is probably a bit unfair but I wish they could handle the wet mud a bit better. I have been spoilt though and they are in the most part grippy for most terrain.

FINALLY!!!! I had been looking for a hiking boot that was comfortable and solid. Search over! The build quality of these boots is amazing, and for the price you can’t go wrong. The size is a little off and if you wear thick socks then go for half a size up ! I have a 40 mile hike planned for Saturday so will update after, but going on the build of these I don’t see any issues!

Service was excellent. My first pair rubbed on one heel, I returned (foc) and the replacement pair were despatched before I had posted them! Replacement pair very comfy and stylish – can’t comment on how water proof they are yet as have only had dry days.
I’ve had these for a year now, best boots I’ve owned by miles. Used every day on tracks, paths and fields still in great condition, no sign of any damage- I do wipe after each walk and wax every week. Still very comfy and are waterproof.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have had so much trouble with my feet so after a lot of research I ordered this pair. I was a bit worried as I felt I had wide feet but these fit like a glove and support my feet really well.

I walk the dogs about 3 times a day so its great enjoying my walks and not hobbling through them each time. So for comfort and support I would say 5*

As previous reviews advised I bought one size larger than my shoe size. Worn with thick walking socks they accommodate my wider feet perfectly. I use them every day on moorland and they are fully waterproof, light in weight and give excellent support over rough terrain. The Vibram soles grip according to their reputation. The lace hooks are robust unlike ones used on cheaper boots which bend and break. The locking intermediate hook enables firm lacing of the upper hooks for ankle support. The flexible panel on the upper toe section prevents pressure on the foot when climbing. I have bought Grisport boots before so have confidence in the brand but these are by far the most comfortable boots I have worn to date.

Pro’s these boots are very good, comfortable and supportive. I bought these in February 2019 and walk the dog in them on a daily basis. They have also travelled with me on two walking holidays. So far i am really pleased with them. They are waterproof as advertised and continue to be unlike others i have bought that have leaked within months of buying. The other simple thing is the laces which appear to be well made and still look as good as new. A simple thing but on other boots i have had to replace these several times. Overall i would recommend.. Cons :Gone up in price since i bough

Ok, ,so in 2018 I did walk more than the headline miles as I bought them on 29th October 2018 so around 280 miles can be added on. Walking in mainly hilly areas on the Pennine hills with Bella the Beagle (she will have covered lots more!), over rock and through mud and dust. These boots are the best I have ever owned and are still going strong. I use Dubbin on a regular basis and do clean them regularly. Recommended with no reservations.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHaving looked long and hard for replacement boots ,i am really pleased with my choice. They are everything the manufacturer claims them to be.A very good fit ,high support on your ankles and nice and comfortable.I do lot of walking now that i have retired and i am very hard on footwear.Time will tell how good they are if they last a long time.

Golden Review Award: 57 From Our UsersI’ve had these boots a month now, not long I hear you say to review, but I walk on average 50-70 miles per week, so I’ve completed over 220 miles in these boots now.
And my honest opinion is they are by far the best I’ve had.
I have tried all the well known brands including the more expensive one available and non of them compete with these Grisport.
I alway believe long wet grass is a good Challenge for any boot, and to date these have been perfect for keeping my feet dry, plenty of Dubin obviously helps.
They have been comfy from day one always a good starting point.
In summary these are a quality boot at an affordable price, highly recommended.
Update **** I have now had these boots for 18 months and I have walked over 5000 miles in them over the time, the boots have worn well the sole has lost a lot of the tread the heals are also worn but the heal is solid and not hollow, the boots have remained waterproof with no sign of wet feet.
I walk along roads fields hills and canal tow paths so a variety of surfaces, I think 5000 miles is testimony to the integrity of these boots, I have a new pair ready to replace these when required.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersOver the years I’ve had a number of types/makes of boots and these are just about the perfect light walking boot. Comfy straight out of the box, sturdy, good looking (I go to the pub in them) and terrific value; (I paid 74 for a pair of size 11). You need to be aware these are not a 4 season boot for the high fells in winter; (believe me I go there), you need a pair of Skarpa or similar at twice the price. However, for everyday walking, coastal walks, rambles etc. I doubt if these could be bettered. As other reviewers have said, keep them dubbined or waxed to retain the water proofing and you shouldn’t be disappointed. Well recommended.

arrived next day picked up from local shop , these are beautiful made perfect not a mark on them very comfy and quality made in Italy i would say iam a 5 but bunions have to move up to a 6 and even with a 6 there not generous-in front , but in italy they do make there shoes a tad bit narrow they dont pinch i will stuff socks in to stretch a tad w e talking about 3 mm i can do that , might get the shoes they great i love them so comfy well worth it .

A little snug. If you like wearing thick socks, I suggest that you order a size bigger. Quite stiff initially, but have bedded in nicely after a couple of weeks. I have been walking the dogs in all weathers and so far they have proved to be waterproof, with plenty of ankle support. Only time will tell if they last longer than the Berghaus GTX I bought last, which literally fell to pieces within 18 months.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersIn an ideal world, never by your boots on-line, ever! Go into the shop, try loads on and get the right ones for your feet. All feet are different, so are boots. You owe it to your feet to get this right, not to mention the rest of your body that will suffer if you get it wrong.

    But, that said.

My word, these really are fantastic boots, really top quality in every aspect and built to last but alas, as I feared, the absence of half sizes were it’s/my downfall. I ordered a size 10 and they’re just that bit too snug but I will return them and go for the size 11 as they really are so well made and excellent value to boot. (sorry)

I will return once the 11’s turn up and I will then try them out properly and report back.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHaving had bought quite a few pairs of the Dartmoor shoe, size 8, I decided to go for these boots for the winter, also in an 8. The shoes fitted perfectly, straight out of the box, unfortunately I have had to return these boots, they were far too tight. As others have said, the sizing just doesn’t seem right. The actual boots look really good, so will probably reorder again in a size 9. Fingers crossed…..
Just an update, and I hope it helps others, I have just received my size 9’s and they fit perfectly, like the size 8 Dartmoor shoes. These are the first pair of boots I have bought for a number of years, and have usually tried them on in a shop prior to buying them. Perhaps boots are sized differently to shoes, but with the same socks there appears to be no difference in a size 8 shoe, and a size 9 boot.

I had a pair of these boots which finally fell apart after five comfortable years, so I ordered a new pair which I had to send back as the leather upper wasn’t sealed to the sole at the sides of both boots. A dud pair perhaps, but best to check yours, otherwise I would have given a five star rating. I loved these boots, so I risked buying another pair which seem to be fine.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have had these now for the best part of two years and they are worn every single day, they are still comfortable, waterproof and intact, there are no splits or damage of any kind. The reason that they are being replaced is that I have worn right through the sole to the foam comfort layer. I am not even going to look at another manufacturer I am buying from Grisport again with no hesitation.
Update 13/09/2016: This is the second pair of these that I have had and they have both failed in the same place with the sole starting to come away from the toe are on both boots. I did get annoyed at this until I checked my last order date and realised that it was 7/08/2013, so after 3 years of being worn pretty much all day everyday they have failed, I still cannot find a reason to change my 5 star rating and I am expecting delivery of my 3rd pair today

Lovely boots but didn’t score a 5 due to the fit. I found the ankle and heel width quite generous and therefore the boot didn’t give me the support I needed so I had to return them. Such a pity as they are beautifully made. I would suggest you give them a try though as everyone has different requirements. Be mindful that if they don’t fit you may have to pay the return postage if bought through a supplier rather than the Amazon store.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve had these boots for 3 weeks now and i’m delighted with them. I walk my dogs everyday for anything between 3 and 6 miles each walk and these boots have felt good to wear, no pinching or rubbing anywhere so the breaking in period was non-excitant. In the past i have bought cheaper boots and now realise my mistake i should have spent the few extra quid and got a decent pair like these. Would i recommend these YES would i buy them again YES. Of course these aren’t top of the range boots but they are very good and i hope will get me through The West Highland Way next year.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery comfy. I’m a size 10 (UK) and ordered same, the boots feel a little larger than a 10, but this is a European 44 so they tend to come up bigger. It means I can wear thick socks if my feet ever get cold, which in these boots I don’t think will happen.

Love the colour, fit great, wore them all day without any issues, then washed them off and waxed them again for next time.

    Perfect!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersMy wife recently bought a pair of Grisport boots, which seemed fine, so I looked on Amazon for the men’s version.
Needed to upgrade to the Quatro model to get Vibram soles. They are made in Italy; don’t think too many manufacturers still made in Europe.
Quite a discount on the weekend I bought them. Don’t usually risk buying clothes / foot ware on line but think you can send these back free if a problem.
Anyway they fit and they work. Not too heavy. Been on three walks without any problems. Hence I recommend them.
