Bought this as the speaker on my TV had blown but I didn’t want to buy a new TV just for that. Speaker was easy to connect with the opti cable and works well with the TV. Very happy with quality of the sound, especially for the money.
i have a Samsung tv that’s a few years old but the picture is fantastic. The speakers however were making and awful vibrating sound at certain volume levels. I got this speaker just to see if a soundbar would help prior to spending a fortune on one that maybe wouldn’t work. It’s great and has sorted the issue. I am by no means a sound expert but for the price I would say this is perfect for most people.
I purchased this soundbar as anything would be better than the dreadful sound on the tv speakers. I am very pleased with the soundbar as it goes beyond what I expected of it. I was going to buy a much more expensive one but took a chance with this one in the end and I’m glad I did.
My first attempt at connection was by Bluetooth. Sound ok but limited control. Then, once I’d discovered that the rubber endcaps had to be removed, the optical cable brought the soundbar to live. Brilliant.
Considering the price I was not expecting much but this has transformed our watching of an old 25″ LG TV. The built in TV speakers would distort terribly when the action intensified but now we experience clear audio at all times. The different equalisation levels are interesting. You will probably find the one you prefer and leave there. If you are looking for a cinema sound system this is probably not for you but to beef up the sound from a small TV I highly recommend it. Customer service is also excellent. I could not see how to turn off the EQ light in the centre of the bar so emailed. I had a reply the next morning- press and hold the EQ button on the remote and it will turn off.
The first one I had delivered packed up after ten minutes but Amazon sent out a replacement the following day and this one is working well. I use it on my Gaming PC after getting fed up with my old 5.1 system, so now I have an uncluttered desk and no leads trailing all over my gaming room. I have it connected up with an optical cable. It does work okay via Bluetooth but I preferred the optical sound better.
So cheap but listen to it and it improves the sound of your tv without upsetting the neighbours. Buy it you will not regret it. No hdmi connection on there but optical cable works great and included 🙂
I am using this with my computer system and the sound level is adequate for that. It has a nice tone with good clarity, though the bass could be better. The remote is ok works well enough, but I dont knew why the EQ button is used for another function as there are not many buttons on it. Price has gone up 18 since I purchased just a few weeks ago so not as good value now.
The speakers on my TV are on the way out, so I bought this…. it’s small, well priced and the sound is OK (better than the TV). it has enough inputs for me (I only need 3.5mm stereo) and importantly for me, it remembers the input and power state after being turned off from the plug. The LED is a little too bright for my tastes, but so many order products suffer from that issue (Unless it’s a touch, mostly, brighter isn’t better).
One additional note – it does have an auto off function. So if it’s not used (no sound) for a period it will power itself down.
We got this soundbar because a friend recommended it for my problem. I have Sky Q but seem to constantly need to turn the sound up on certain programmes to hear vocals.
This soundbar puts the vocals front and centre while to TV handles sound effects and music.
Perfect solution for a truly upsetting issue.
This sound bar fits into my room beautifully and the sound quality is excellent. It was easy to install and really makes a difference to my enjoyment of television. The product is real value for money.

Only problem is when wall mounting you have use right angle adaptors at extra cost to plug the power supply and optical input in. This is not mentioned in the booklet or the Amazon wright up. Most people would know that they exist so you need to mention it some where. This because of the limited space behind the unit.
This soundbar is excellent value for the money sound is unbelievable good compared to my last sound bar and tv speakers also comes with remote to adjust sound to your liking and you can turn off the display too which is a great feature. I use aux cable from the sound bar to my tv other options are available too. The size is perfect for my 37 inch hd Sony tv hardly takes up any space which is a bonus and is lightweight too. Highly recommend this soundbar if your on a budget 10/10.
Purchased to replace some basic PC speakers that I had been using for years. This sound bar fits neatly under my monitor and is completely unobtrusive, taking up far less desk space than the previous solution.
The sound quality from this speaker is excellent for gaming, with plenty of low down bass provided by the subwoofer, and clear high frequencies from the two main speakers, even at low volume settings. There is more than enough power to blast out some music when connected via Bluetooth, which connected without any issues.
Overall, I am very pleased with this item, and recommend it highly.
I needed the sound bar to override the tv speaker because I’d connected a hearing loop transmitter to the TV. This had muted the Sony tv speaker and there was no way of having both working.
I bought an optical splitter but the Sony tv still wouldn’t let the sound bar and hearing loop work together.
Because there was also a headphone cable input it allows both the sound bar to work off the headphone output and the hearing loop to work off the optical output.
I bought this Groov-e Sounder for use with our kitchen TV and for it’s size and price, I am pleasantly surprised by both the build and sound quality.
It fits neatly below our TV and using the supplied optical cable gives a massive improvement in audio. The remote works from any position in the room and gives a number of options for EQ – Voice, Music, Movie – as well as volume, input selection and track control.
The bass is absolutely fine and there’s no audio distortion at high volumes. We prefer the Movie mode and find it’s perfect adequate for all our viewing. When the soundbar is turned off, it retains your settings when turned back on. The instructions are clear and well written.
Bluetooth: Connected immediately with my iPhone with playback slightly volume is lower than the TV but easily rectified by turning the volume up a couple of notches.
Lastly, the only hiccup was that initially it would not play TV audio from FreeView HD channels (the rest were fine). The solution is to go to your TV Audio settings and change the audio output from Dolby to PMA. Solved. Some people say “…it won’t work with my TV…” and the Groov-e really should add this solution to their instructions in my opinion.
I can happily recommend – providing expectations are managed. In a large room for gaming and movies it may not have the grunt that you want – in which case spend more money. Otherwise, this is fantastic value for a better than expected improvement on TV-only audio.
The unit arrived on time and the build quality is very good. Easy to set up and use. The unit does not have an HDMIarc port which would have been a nice addition. Nonetheless unit can be connected to TV either via optical cable (included) or Bluetooth. The downside of Bluetooth connection is it has to be reconnected every time it is switched off and switched back on. I opted for optical connection for that reason. The supplied optical cable is the thinest I have seen. The unit I have appears to have a fault, when powering the unit on it switches itself off and then is unresponsive using the remote control or power button. I have requested a replacement which has been accepted. If you are looking to upgrade your TV speakers this is a good choice considering it’s price point. Personally I would have liked a bit more base.

I contacted the Manufacturer who have promptly replied with the firmware may need updating. They provided the firmware update and instructions. If the replacement unit has the same issue, I will update the firmware and confirm if this resolves the issue. I hope this is helpful to prospective purchasers.
Nothing to dislike for me. Several different sound settings and just enough bass to make films sound good.easy set up. The only slightly annoying thing is it has power saving which a lot seem to have. It’s only a matter of turning it on again but I could live without it.

Worked perfectly for 4 hours and then stopped, was given exchange and that is working fine, very good service
