We bought this as our expensive baby monitor stopped working. We bought this in an emergency/temporary replacement as we were travelling. We actually like it so much, we have not replaced it and it’s a permanent fixture for us.

The picture quality is clear, as is the sound. Night vision works perfectly too.

    Highly recommend!

Received this yesterday so I have only used it last night. Well worth the money
Good clear pictures and if you have a baby that moves around a lot in their cot, this is good because it’s adjustable side to side, up and down. Screen is really big too, bigger than I though it would be, but for me that’s a good thing
    5/5

I would recommend this camera wholeheartedly.

Camera quality is great both during day and at nightm Its great being able to move the position and zoom in from another room . I am also able to speak through the camera which is very useful. The monitor holds its charge also.

I had a minor problem with the camera. The company reached out within 24 hours with a response

In sum definitely a brilliant product for the price.

Would definitely recommend this baby monitor, I bought this for baby number 2 when looking for a more affordable option than the vtech monitor I bought for my first and I can honestly say I would recommend this one over the vtech to everyone! It has a great setting on where the screen comes on when baby makes sound and goes off when baby is quiet meaning no bright screens waking you up in the night!
And customer service is absolutely amazing, I emailed them about an issue I came across and they quickly and efficient resolved the issue straight away for me. Would highly recommend!

I absolutely love this baby monitor it is so easy to use. It is also quite compact but you can still see you child clearly on the monitor and you can also connect more than 1 camera to the parent-unit.
I have bought two of these baby monitors, the first one I bought so I can keep an eye on my disabled daughter at night and I was so impressed with it I bought another one for my daughter as she has 2 small children, she has 2 cameras connected to her monitor. After about 6 months I had an issue with one of the parent-units, I contacted customer services, they responded very quickly to my email and sorted the problem for me very quickly too. Absolutely excellent customer services 100% recommend.

Used this so my elderly father could call for help overnight. Clear picture on night vision and clear sound. Price seems reasonable, not that you can put a price on the reassurance it has given us

Very good baby monitoring camera for that price, it has night vision and the image is quite clear and without slowdowns, it has a good microphone and has a mode to activate when it detects a noise higher than a certain threshold.
How curious functionalities it has a temperature sensor the camera can be rotated (manually, it does not follow the movement automatically), it can play a few lullaby songs and it has to remember the moments when you have to give the baby shots.
The antenna has a very good range and practically never loses the signal.
The only drawback is that an adapter should come to be able to put the camera in the cradle (on the railing) since if you don’t have a place to rest the camera well, like a piece of furniture, you have to make a solution to be able to hold it and make the area visible. where is the baby in the crib

We’ve loved this baby monitor for it’s simplicity and easy to use. The swivel is great but you do need to find a good position for it to rest in rlder to be able to rotate it downwards. The quality of the image isn’t brilliant but for the price you can’t complain. Have had 2, one for each of our children.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the price

Great value for money, works like a treat and performance has been 10x better than other monitors and brands we used previously.

No frills, just does the job it needs to. Highly recommended.

I wouldn’t use any other monitor. We previously had a Motorola baby monitor which cost 120 which didn’t last very long. We have had this over a year and now purchased a 2nd for our 2nd child. It is really good quality and a really good price. Highly recommend

We have used this product as a monitor for our baby daughter. The camera has good range (3 floors+), is rotatable (up/down/left/right) with the ability to zoom, also. The mic quality is good, and you can have more than one camera per monitor (up to 4x). The unit has good battery life, and the night vision for the camera is also good. Highly recommended product. Much better value than some big name competitors.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe looked and did quite a bit of research before buying a baby camera. We did have indoor cameras that required WiFi from a different brand previously just for when our baby was napping upstairs but when she moved to her own room it was really important for us to have a separate monitor.
We love this one, it has a big enough screen, great night vision and good sound. You have options to leave the screen on all the time, or for it to go into a standby mode that will ping the screen on for when the baby makes noise. This setting also has 3 noise sensitivity levels, a little bit of noise, medium noise, or if baby is crying. We love this feature it’s very helpful. With it working without WiFi it also means if baby stays over at our parents house we can just take the camera and monitor to them and they can easily use it without having to connect to WiFi which is great. It has good range we haven’t had any connectivity issues even when baby is sleeping upstairs and we sit in the garden to keep an eye on her.
I also really like that if the monitor is turned on and the battery starts to die that it will beep every few seconds so that it doesn’t go off without you realising, it’s quite a loud beep so it wakes you through the night if this happens.
We have it mounted with a command strip to the wall and never had any issues with this. The wire for the camera and to charge the monitor are good lengths too.
I don’t really have any downsides to this product, my only comment is that the camera is quite zoomed in, even just on the normal setting, not a problem for us as we just mounted it a bit higher on the wall.

We did have an issues after 5 months of owning this where the battery life had reduced and the company were outstanding at sourcing a replacement for us. We are really happy with this product, and would recommend this to anyone

We have had this for 3 years now and we love it!
I love how it is wireless so I can watch baby from all over the house whilst he is asleep. I can have a shower etc whilst watching the camera to make sure he is ok.
when I go to bed I turn camera onto vox mode so the screen is off but camera will come on if baby is crying. would recommend.

Very easy to set up. Essentially plug and play. Came with the camera already paired with the monitor/base unit. Daytime and night time vision both excellent. Range of pan and tilt excellent. Picture quality on monitor/base station is excellent – better than our previous much more expensive Motorola monitor. Range and signal quality excellent. Battery life excellent. We are very please with this monitor. Excellent VFM. Paid 56.99 for it and it has been so easy to set up and use.

I am so glad I went for this baby monitor. As a first time mum, I know how confusing it can be to figure out what the best one would be. This one is perfect. It’s very useful to be able to move the camera around when you’re not in the room. I also like that fact that I can communicate through the monitor if needed. I’ve been using this for almost a year and it hasn’t given me any problems. The only thing I would advise is not to move the camera head with your own hands as this can mess with up the electric connection.

This is a good value monitor. Does everything you need it to, can see and hear baby well.
However, a button on the monitor screen did break about 9 months into using it – customer service were very good with getting a replacement sent out quickly.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have been using the hello baby monitor for around 6 months. The signal is great, night mode is clear and it functions really well. So when it stopped charging I was so sad as it has been so reliable. I then contacted hello baby via there website and advised them of the problem. Within minutes they responded and have sent me a new monitor. I am so glad they have done this as it shows they care about their customer base and product. Plus the monitor and camera are so good I’d be sad to go somewhere else. I love the size of the screen and the battery lasted hours. So worth the money every new mum needs one.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI don’t usually take the time to leave reviews but this baby monitor is amazing. Insane value for money. We have the baby on the 2nd floor and yet we get full signal out on a ground floor extension. Super easy to use, you literally connect the camera to the AC adapter, press the ON button on the receiver and you have a video & audio feed straight away. No Wi-Fi, no installation. You can push a button to speak with the baby just like a walkie talkie. You can see the baby room temperature on the display, very useful and fairly accurate. The lullabies are rubbish but who cares. Battery life is good not amazing, you can still go on for 6-8 hours with the display on or far longer if you keep it off (audio only). I love the fact that you can rotate the camera on two axis, so you can point at the crib or the playing area. We are super happy with this baby monitor, highly recommended.

Pin broken on the charging part of the monitor for the 2nd time. Picture and coverage are great but now two broken monitors in less than a year and they didn’t even fall. However I contacted the seller and they replied within hours and offered a replacement monitor so cannot ask for much more than that. Great customer service

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe monitor worked fine for a while. I purchased it about six months ago and it was a very helpful device. Easy to use, clear picture and sound.

However, not even six months of having it, the screen started to go bad really fast (dead pixels that progressed from small dots to long lines) and the battery wouldn’t last lost either.

I’m giving this product four stars because it served well while it lasted. In addition, when I contacted the brand regarding the problem we experienced, they were very friendly and apologetic and responded in no time at all times. They were very kind and happy to help and we resolved the issue with no problems.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFantastic product. I always thought I needed a full hd monitor with perfect sound quality that hears every whisper but I was wrong.

This has the perfect balance of knowing when to wake the screen and let you hear the little one, the night mode is great and zoom feature is handy.

Use this when we put our daughter out. Super easy to set up and means we don’t have to continuously check our phones like with other cameras. The picture on the monitor is quite zoomed in but did the job as we used it for a travel monitor. The monitor just stopped working a couple of months in, despite not being able to chat to anyone on Amazon which was very disappointing I contacted hellobaby directly and their support has been amazing! They are sending a new monitor. Can’t ask for much more

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought this for my daughter who has PMLD and epilepsy, her seizures are nocturnal. I have had other monitors in the past but by far this is the best one. It picks up the slightest noise and has a great distance range from base to monitor. The night vision picture can be a little grainy but for me it has been vital in being able to pick up my daughters seizures as soon as they start and I am able to give her the medication she needs straight away to bring her out of the seizure. I’m sure this would also be a great product for any new parents as well.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a great little baby monitor. Easy to set up, has been relatively flawless. If I’m being picky though the battery life on the main unit isn’t great. Also we have 2 babies under 2, one of whom is going into his own room so I thought I’d buy another camera.. the whole unit costs about 3 pounds more than just a camera on its own. Also there’s no split screen option l, you’d have to watch either one camera or the other. I’ve since decided to purchase a different split screen baby monitor. For one baby, this is well worth the money, for 2 babies you’re looking at spending 150 on a baby monitor with an additional camera that doesn’t do split screen..

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWe previously have a BT 6000 Baby Monitor which we bought for circa 150 back in 2020. After 3 years of service, this broke and we needed a new one. Having taken a punt given the price, this monitor found exceeds the quality of thr BT monitor for a fraction of the price and has a longer monitor/hand unit range. Very happy with the purchase.

Golden Review Award: 41 From Our UsersI don’t write reviews often, however I feel compelled to given this HelloBaby monitor has been life changing and an absolute godsend in assisting my grandma and I in looking after my elderly grandpa. I researched lots of baby monitors and usually tend to go with main brands such as Phillips or Tommee Tippee but after looking through all the good reviews and noting the better specs of this model, I thought I would give this one a go. I am so pleased I did.

Typically baby monitors are for babies, however as my grandpas health has deteriorated he requires 24’7 supervision. This monitor allows us to keep an eye on him so we can ensure he is safe and attend to him whenever required (more so at nighttime).

    Good points as follows:
    – The day and night picture quality is fantastic, being colour in daylight and black/white when the room is pitch black.
    – Nice big screen, unlike like some other main brand models where the screen is small.
    – The sound is also fantastic, we can even hear my grandpa breathing, noise sensitivity can be adjusted to your preference.
    – You can communicate to the other end of the camera should you need to.
    – You can adjust the volume and brightness of the screen.
    – Range is fantastic, we have been able to pop to the sun lounge outside and it still has a strong signal.
    – Battery is long lasting. We are typically getting approximately 2-3 evenings before it’s on the last tab, although it can still be used whilst on charge.
    – You can have the video on all the time or have the screen off with the sound on and if needed, press a button on the right hand side and the screen will pop on.
    – You can add additional cameras if required (although I haven’t been able to find these on Amazon, I would like to purchase another camera)
    – Temperature of the room is noted
    – Plays lullabies on the camera side if required
    – Feeding timer if required
    – You can change the language if needed

I have nothing bad to say about this monitor, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone whether for babies or caring for someone like we are. I haven’t posted a picture of screen in action for the privacy of my grandpa, however I hope the above helps if you are deciding whether or not to buy this monito

Life changing! This has been a godsend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI spent a lot of time researching what video monitor to buy after having an audio only monitor with my first child. I am really pleased I went for a video monitor, and this one in particular. It is really easy to set up and the picture quality is absolutely fine, as is the sound. It’s good you can remotely control the camera. Not used the talk back feature yet. Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe purchased this to monitor our puppy overnight and ensure we’d know if she was distressed or in need of the toilet.
The image quality and night vision is great – I can clearly see her and it has a basic zoom feature.
The screen automatically switches off, which saves battery and prevents a constant noise/image showing when there isn’t any noise/movement. It switches on automatically when movement or sound detected. First night this meant a restless sleep as I was constantly checking to make sure it still had signal and was working, but after a few days of use I’m come to trust it.
Sound is good – better than others I’ve tried, so I’m not worried about not hearing her.
Charges pretty quickly and battery for ‘parent’ monitor easily lasts the night.
It’s one way only, so no talk back, but that is fine for my needs.
Settings allow you to set an alarm and to change Vox level (low if you don’t care about small noises, or high if you want to be alerted to pretty much everything).

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy wife and I didn’t get a monitor until our child was about 9 month old. Wish we had got one sooner!
Now when the little one is down, we can keep an eye on her whilst we tidy up the mess she has made during the day! She is upstairs in her bedroom and we will be downstairs at the opposite side of the house with no connection problems.
We even tested to see how far it could go. We managed to go out to the back garden and it still had good signal.
It is decent picture quality. Not the best, but very adequate.
The camera section requires mains power but the Battery life on the monitor is alright.
You get 2 plugs with this. One for the camera and one as the charger for the monitor. Though both are exact same.
We found that if going away anywhere. Instead of taking both. We would only take one. And make sure to charge the monitor before needing to use the camera.
The camera can move and zoom which is great. Has the option for more than 1 camera. We have only 1 so not sure about how that function works.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBought this camera monitor for my second child as the cheap one we bought for our first only lasted for the length we needed it. This camera is a million times better than that first one and it’s pretty much the same price. On the old one I had, the battery on the handset was useless; not so on this one. It easily copes with baby’s naps throughout the day and we just plug it in overnight now that she’s in her own room. The mic picks up the smallest sounds, the monitor also has LEDs that light up to signal a sound if you’ve got it muted. You can also turn the screen off to save battery and just listen out if you need to. It has VOX capabilities but we’ve not used that function. The ability to move the camera is brilliant. All in all, it’s an amazing purchase. The only drawback is that the signal from the camera to the handset does mess with your WiFi. I’ve found this is less that case the closer you are to the router. For me, my devices only stop working upstairs, but I just switch to 4g if I want to do something and it’s fine. If the camera is not in use, you can just turn it off so the WiFi is back to normal.

All in all, I’d definitely recommend this to anyone, so long as they can put up with a bit of an annoyance with the WiFi.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersGood camera for the price, originally had the HB32 smaller version which my husband stood on so we had to get this. Only reason we got this and not the same one again was that there was an offer on.
Picture quality seems to be worse than the HB32, but I suspect it’s the same quality but has to be “blown up” to fit the screen size resulting in a grainy image. It does seem more zoomed in too, this is 1.5m off the ground looking down into a cot bed (70x140cm) and you only see a 3rd which is a shame, wish it was a wider lense.
Battery life is decent, we leave it on all night plugged in and he has 2 naps in the day and put him to bed around 7pm, we never have to charge its inbetween. Temperature seems a little out so don’t rely on it, the HB32 was more accurate.
If it wasn’t 10 cheaper with the offer I would have preferred to just have the same one as we broke but that being said 60 you can’t complain, it’s loud, you can see baby and that’s what we were looking for.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good little camera
