My parents bought this to upgrade from their 32″ Samsung Smart TV
Great picture quality and excellent features.
Sound is adequate
Pleasantly surprised with this middle of the road brand putting premium brand to shame as so much lower in cost outlay.
Good quality pictures. Good sound, pleasantly surprised. Beautiful TV design. When mounting the TV to the wall, be careful that the mounting bolts included in the kit and mounting dimensions larger than 300 x 300 are not suitable.
i bought this 50 inch TV a few weeks ago as a special treat for my Fiance, and quite honestly we love it as it’s like a cinema in our living room. easy to use and it was really easy to set up . this is our second Hisense tv as this replaced the 43inch which we had up on wall we where reluctant to get rid of it but just wanted a bigger tv. Hisense is a really good trusted brand i can definitely recommend this to everyone.
I would have given more. The Tv is a real eyeopener 55” against our older 40” HD Tv. Always said I didn’t want or need a ‘big’ set, that is true, but as the saying goes, ‘size impresses’. Having made the move I would only say don’t try to take it away! A totally painless transaction, as most are. Can recommend 100% . The latest model at a good price, coupled with Amazon service. I am 100% satisfied.
It has a great picture quality and some very good features.
There seem to be some glitch with some apps. Operating system is not as fast as you’d like it be, but overall I think it’s a very good TV for the price.
like the picture and clarity dislike the channel guide which refuses to give program data but insists ‘no program’ on all channels but when a channel is selected the program appears for that channel only. Calls to hisense help desk a complete waste of time. The remote control can access the on screen e-manual which is obviously for another product so no help. To be clear the satellite cable was checked against an LG tv and the program guide was immediate no hassle. Eventually used a humax box to over come the problems which on a new tv should not be there so 9/10 amazon for delivery 0/10 hisense for usability. Wish I had kept the box for return!
The tv is more than adequate for my needs. Picture sound quality is very good indeed.
Not being a tech minded chap not sure about air play in that I have to have Ipad/iphone whereas I have Android and unclear why nothing linked to that.
Possibly I maybe bit dense though.
Suggestions welcome.
Lots of divorces in my home and this is the only one buffering at times. Doesn’t seem to connect strongly to Wi-Fi also does not have the crunchy roll app available if you are a fan of anime.
Its a great TV, super fast and the picture quality is absolutely fantastic. Easy to set up even you not a fan of reading instructions like me. I had to replace for the sound to M-Audio studio reference speakers for my man cave. The sound of the TV is OK if you dont mind the sound. But you will enjoy anything if you got a good speaker system. I connected my X-box and a PC to this TV, easy peasy to set up. all in all im really happy. But as my headline says already_ deserves a better sound
Great quality when on HD, SD just ok. Sound quality could be better. Very lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and fitting the legs is straightforward too. Excellent value for money though and setup is extremely easy.
Unfortunately it is let down by its low quality remote and poor GUI but if you’re using a device connected over HDMI (or other video ports) both the GUI and remote are obsolete.
+ Picture quality is great (upscaling definitely does its job)
+ HDR works well without the red-ghosting some TVs (like TCL) show
+ Sound is not as tinny as some
+ Good connectivity (and Bluetooth to soundbar is in sync)
– Vidaa doesn’t seem that great, compared to pure Android TV (e.g. you cannot uninstall apps)
– Although it has time shift, you cannot spontaneously pause TV or rewind… you need to enable the feature which then does 30min timeshif
This is a brilliant TV sound is great picture is brilliant if you want a new TV buy this one 10/10 apss are grea

Exactly as described. Really sharp resolution and excellent built in surround sound. Bluetooth works with my Beats Studio 3 with no audio lag.
When I first turned it on, I was impressed with the speed it booted up. The apps already installed were great and you can see from the main screen what popular programs are on the apps without loading the app. I bought an extra strong bracket only to discover the TV only weight 17.5kg. Coupled with the sound bar and subwoofer, everything is amazing. Would highly recommend. The remote look a while to get used to.
I have now had this TV for months and I can’t say that there is anything wrong with it. Grate pic, great sound, value for money. Brilliant!
The picture on this far outshines the dearer Samsung model that died after less than 16monthd.
Its a bargain at its current price of 239.99.
Great functionality….rubbish speakers. Get a sound bar then its all good.
This TV is brilliant! Only reason overall isn’t 5* is because unfortunately Amazon deliver it. They’re absolutely useless & you can expect to wait a week for delivery to a random neighbour without the OTP!
Having recording and timeshift ability is a fantastic surprise. It was not mentioned in any literature. Other reviewers even stated that there wasn’t PVR.
The speed of the television compared to the Samsung is like lightening when loading apps and turning off. Using voice control is also a bonus.
The picture isn’t too bad. The let down for me is the sound. It’s adequate but I recommend a cheap soundbar.
All I hope for now is the reliability.
Second Hisense for me and have noticed on both that the picture is excellent but the sound is pretty bad on any setting. A soundbar is a must. It’s a shame but at such a price you ain’t going to get the moon on a stick! I would rather it this way than great sound but pants picture. If your going to add a soundbar make sure it has HDMI ARC which is the best way to connect the tv to the soundbar and then the sky Q remote works the volume.
Got this TV just in time for the 2022 Qatar World Cup and to veg out on XMAS movies and it does exactly what it says on the tin.
It was easy to install and setup and to integrate with home cinema setup via my Denon AVR 1912 Receiver using ARC – Audio Return channel – and it produces decent performance from many sources Live TV, Blu Ray / DVDs, Amazon Prime and YouTube – although i have only used it with 1080p sources and not tried 4K yet.
The 50 Inch screen is great for sports and most TV content – but perhaps just adequate but still good for watching movies as i have to use the built in Movie Zoom to stretch letterbox content to more viewable 16:9. Its has a handy YouTube, Netflix and Amazon Prime apps built in but the inbuilt apps don’t support Movie Zoom features so i need to use my existing Amazon Fire stick via my Denon Receiver if i need to do it. Other than the movie Zoom there isn’t much of a requirement to adjust the picture,
The inbuilt sound system and speakers whilst don’t cut the mustard for movies or hq drama when you have a home cinema setup but they are certainly good enough for speech and sport type content.
