Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersHaving had this TV for approximately a couple of months now, I just have to say how impressed I am for the cost, the image is clean, vibrant and so far lag free (my Xbox looks great) having finally upgraded my now 15 year old (but still great) plasma, I couldn’t be happier.
    Fantastic value.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI went for this lately after reading many reviews and brought it from Amazon because they were the cheapest by in some instances over 100 or more. The set has been excellent and my first from this maker, a dream to set up with to my eyes and ear’s excellent quality picture and sound. Very happy with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAbsolutely love this tv, excellent value for money, beautiful picture, good sound but i choose to add a soundbar as im used to having one, but could easily have just used the tv speaker which is perfectly acceptable, and better than many tv’s have.
Simple to operate, sets itself up, I had no problems doing that and I’m in my 60’s. Very happy customer indeed, I highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tv

The screen tech is top notch.
    The build quality isn’t bad.
The software is laggy and often freezes.
    The audio is T E R R I B L E!

I was on a budget and I am extremely happy with the result. The software gets more responsive the longer the TV is on but I will definitely have to buy a soundbar in the future.

If you can afford Samsung or LG I would advise you do it. But if you’re on a budget this is perfect!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the third Hisense TV that I have purchased, the other two are still going strong.
Picure – It provides a good image with a bright picture. Yes there is some backlight bleed but only if you put it to a blank screen, it’s not visible when watching actual movies or programme.
Sound – I was thinking I may need a soundbar but on actually using the tv this idea has gone away. Sound can be very loud with no distortion. Make sure to set to Theatre and switch on the sound enhancements in the menu. Gives a passable level of bass and does provide some height when using the Netflix spatial sound settings. I’m comparing the sound to a JBL Bar 9.1 on my other tv.
Interface – No need for a fire stick as the interface has all the main streamers and is quick
Overall – The 55″ cost me just over 400 and I think that it provides good value for money and I’m very happy with it. It would be wrong to compare this with a OLED as it’s not operating in that price backet.

Welcome to the new world, my last TV was about 12 years old and very much old style. This TV is so much more for an outstanding price. Superb picture, easy to use controls and lovely piece of furniture.

I only bought this as the lg I bought last year gave up after 11 months (never buying lg again). For the money it is really impressive. The picture quality is up there with the best led screens you can buy. There is many options you can choose in the settings to setup up the picture and sound. The only criticism is only have 3 hdmi ports. And if you use a sound bar with eArc then you only have two. As I have many devices I have to use a hdmi switch to connect all of them, so four would of helped. But overall it’s great for the price.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this for bedroom wall after reading reviews and the price point with additional voucher was worth a try.
I am so so glad I did as I have nothing but praise for this. And to think I was going to pay double the price.

Out of box was so simple to set up and once you log into apps etc your set to go.
The picture quality is stunning and I am blown away by the sound. You do defiantly not need any soundbar or surround with this as the build in sound is one of the best I have heard from TV speakers and I have more expensive TV in other room.
Just blown away by the quality of picture, sound, features and the price point leave me scratching my head as this is a total bargain.
I cannot recommend this TV highly enough and will be recommending to family and friends.

I was surprised at how light this large TV is as I worried about buying a 55inch. It wasn’t difficult to handle and set up. The picture is superb with vibrant high contrast colours. I don’t really game, but this TV optimised for gaming is great for everything else including films and any content that is fast moving. The sound is good for speech reproducing fricative sounds clearly and for high frequency clarity. A delight actually. For the complete cinema experience I would recommend a sound bar with a sub woofer or connect it to your HIFI. The responsiveness is really good, like you have great processing behind this and nothing is slow and unresponsive. You get an ok number of interfaces and it is a delight to set up. I am very happy with this and I am sure you will agree.

Obviously the price is important but not if the quality isn’t ant good but this has a great picture & features . Everything you need in a smart TV. Only had since December so can’t tell you about longevity but very pleased so far.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’d never had a Hisense TV before so was a little unsure of how the quality would be. I was pleasantly surprised. The picture quality is great and having gone from a 48″ to a 65″ screen, it was a jump to a more cinema-like experience. There are lots of configuration options to tweak the picture to what you want and there are some sound options too. The sound was one area where I felt the TV was a bit lacking when compared to previous TVs so this is one I’ll be looking for an external sound system for to get that more cinematic experience. There are a few settings to emphasise dialogue over other sound but even with these settings turned on, it feels like I have to turn the TV up quite loud to be able to hear the dialogue. The only other aspect I was a bit hesitant on was a setting to automatically adjust picture and sound settings based on what you’re viewing. On a little digging, it seems like this happens by the TV remote listening to the room to inform it about what you’re watching. It also seems this is tied to advertising so I opted out of this one. With the Ts and Cs, it sounds like it can listen to everything in the room, including your conversations, and use that to push advertising. I’m not 100% sure that’s what it does but I was sceptical enough to opt out!

Other than that, it’s a great TV and I’ve no regrets purchasing.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve been wanting a 4k TV for a while now, especially as more content is available for it (at least via Prime Video, Netflix, Apple TV, Disney etc), and was expecting to pay around 500 or so. I helped my son buy his new TV for his flat a few months back, and he got a 50″ Hisense 4k for 319 from a local store. The picture quality etc is pretty good considering is using backlit lighting, but my son didn’t want to spend any more than he had to, which he’s since regretted since seeing my TV.

My TV has local zone dimming, and has a QLED panel, which makes for a considerably better viewing experience, and now that I’ve seen how good it is, I want another one for my PC gaming
This TV would be great at it’s 499 price, but because I got mine on Prime day, it was ‘only’ 349, and even my usually sceptical wife has been won over by just how outstanding the picture quality and experience is compared to our old 40″ Sony 1080p TV.
We’ve not bothered with a soundbar etc yet, as our old Sony 5.1 450 watts (RMS) system is still more than capable via optical link.

Very happy with our purchase, and I do plan on getting either by a 43″ or 50″ version just for my PC gaming, using the HDMI 2.1 port for 120Hz connectivity. My 5yr old 32″ Phillips & 27″ Benq monitors at 1440p are still awesome, but only 60Hz, so an upgrade in both size and frame rate plus resolution is needed now

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersIt’s cheap and you do get a lot off features picture good but could be better (120htz) it’s a bit grainy when picture moves quickly all In all pretty good

Really can’t grumble with 250 for a 43″ 4K with lots of apps and generally v.good picture. I note some slight shadowing at top corners, but nothing obtrusive. Set up is a dawdle. Now: Let’s see how long it lasts!

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersOne word WOW!

The quality of the display is unreal, I watched Rings of Power on it and every pore or blemish in their skin is visible like it would be in person. It really does bring everything to life.
The physical TV design looks beautiful in my opinion, almost edge to edge display, I even like the feet for it.
The back of the TV is very thin, only slightly more bulky where a wall mount would attach but I expected a slightly thicker back frame for the QLED display but in truth it is still paper thin.

The price is excellent for the phenomenal quality you receive.
I have a Samsung 4k (only LED display) TV with a much higher price point in my living room and it doesn’t come with anywhere near the seamless connectivity when using screen mirroring on airplay, ease of use or insane lifelike crystal clear display. The voice control is so much better on this model, Alexa is brilliant and effective as it should be. The sound quality for a TV is immense, it’s very loud too. I can’t comment on the game aspect as I haven’t played any intensive game yet but the display is stunning for the games I have played.
The display in general is super bright and beautiful.
After I bought this TV I saw some reviews criticising the remote but I’m not sure why, I think it’s much nicer than the big plastic Samsung remote (I love the fancy little metal one that comes with the Samsung but it is totally unnecessary) and this remote is very responsive much more than my previous model and also the Samsung remote.
There is a few shortcut buttons I don’t personally use and I wish it could be replaced with Disney+ but that’s just me, we all use different things and it’s hard to fit everything in for everyone and all the services we use.
A solution to resolve this could be if the consumer can change each button in the settings to their needs and we receive a selection of stick on services buttons to attach to the remote for our personal needs in the future?

I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase, I genuinely cannot find any faults at this stage.
A must purchase for anyone looking to upgrade.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGot this in the prime sale for circa 360.
And for a unit that has HDR10 and DolbyVision, you can’t go wrong.
Out the box the picture/sound etc are a bit dull and lifeless, but nothing a google of “HDR calibration settings” can’t help you sort out.

For the price, I don’t think there’s many better options out there, a few bad reviews around RE grey uniformity etc, but that’s unit to unit so not every unit will perform the same, I seem to have got a perfect one so I can’t give anything less than a 5* review.

The VIDAA OS has all apps needed and works just as well as my Nvidia shield, which I’m now considering moving to another TV in the house.

If you can get this on a prime deal, Boxing Day, any sale, don’t hesitate.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our Usersfantastic TV for price, but had enhanced viewing on it which was really good, it changed the picture and sound automatically to what you were watching, but they sent an update which actually removed this feature. Only had it a few months and it started lagging when you use the remote to turn sound up or switch channels or switch on and off, you have to press the remote 4/5 times on each of the functions to get them to work, changed the batteries and done a factory reset but still the same.
