Directional microphones work perfectly and the adjustable volume switch
really does enable gunfire shots to be reduced significantly whilst clearly hearing range officer’s instructions.

Earmuff really amplifies background sounds and blocks loud noises quite good. The only disadvantage so far – aux input works only when earmuff is on and the sound level of the music if you want to listen to one is quite low. One can increase it by raising the level of sensitivity of external sounds which interfere with the music from your external source. But since this is not the main task of earmuff, it may be disregarded.

Used these for 2 years for shooting 12g shotguns and centrefire rifles. Nice and slim when aiming down sight and fit snug when shooting civilian service rifle which involves movement and run downs. Batteries seem to last forever in it just remember to turn them off when your not using them.

I’m hard of hearing but the microphone(s) work great. I can hear everyone talking clearly. I’ve tested them now with several hundred shotgun cartridges and I haven’t heard a single one of them … thankfully 🙂

Superb ear protection if you don’t want to pay silly money for the [snobby]-name ones.

My only criticism is that they can get a little bit sweaty on a hot day. But then again, so do they all.

Love how it works and how the sound is compressed when the shotgun fires a shot. The only thing that bothers me is their size , they are too big and the stock of the shotgun hits on them when I mount it on my cheek. Other than that they are grea

Bought for clay pigeon shooting. They work well, with the adjustable volume control to individually suit. The automatic turn-off is a bonus, plus the long battery life. There’s some debate on the comments over whether these are the genuine article as apparently, there are fakes out there. These are genuine, the battery terminals are not sprung, they’re contact plates, which seems to be the giveaway with the fakes. They’re comfortable to wear for nearly 2 hours which is the maximum I’ve used them for. Good vfm and no complaints thus far. You’ll notice how many of these models are used on shooting grounds, but I’ve also used them for brush-cutting, at which they’re equally as effective in providing good ear protection.

Brilliant headset with an additional audio jack available. Active protection works as advertised on all types of weapons. They are super comfortable when worn over a cap but with helmet, they are just a bit too bulky. Once you adjust your helmet and get used to a bit of discomfort, they are great for helmet use as well however I would recommend something a bit smaller. Absolutely amazing for a range/sport shooting when you don’t need a helme

I have been using a pair for almost five years, so, yes, I am more than happy with them. They do cause some overheating when in use for an extended time. I have recently purchased some gel pads, and they have made a huge difference. Far cooler, and more comfortable.
When this pair eventually cease to work, I will replace them with the same model, without hesitation.

    Excellent value for money.
In the field they do exactly what they should. Playing music from your phone Is good and being able to answer and speak through them on phone calls is neat. Best quality is when you adjust the microphone level so you hear the same level of sound through them as You would when not wearing them. This way You can have a quite conversation with a friend when in the field and you don’t Misjudge the distance of animal calls etc as with the microphone volume high, everything sound closer than it is and direction of call can be confusing.

This is the second pair I’ve purchased. The first set have lasted six years with two ear-pad changes and were in regular use. Batteries last well too.
The fit is good and doesn’t interfere with shooting, the hearing protection is good.
Watch out for cheap knock-off headsets, there are quite a lot about – check the battery terminals, they should NOT be springs.

Bought these for my lad as it was difficult to teach him with a standard pair of ear defenders – He couldn’t hear me, especially if I spotted a Pheasant first. These enable normal conversation whilst on the hunt and do a decent job of blocking out the ear damaging noise when the trigger is pulled. Very happy indeed.

These have a great build quality and work very well for the price. They are slim enough to tuck out of the way of a raised shotgun stock, but you need to be assertive with your mount if its a snapshot:) The noise cancelling is perfect. No more ringing ears and concerns over tinnitus! The quality of the amplified situational audio is ok. My only complaint is that they prefer the higher frequencies, so for example f you are stood by a stream (high frequency), you’ll hear that louder than the person talking on the other side of it (lower frequency voice). That being said, nothing is perfect and I admit to being quite fussy. I have worn these all day on wet walked up days and water ingress was no problem. I find the ear cups perfectly comfortable. Now, the answer to the most important question; YES you can hear your dog working out front and YES you can hear flushing game! All while protecting your hearing. Recommended. Well worth the price.

This is the best set of electronic ear defenders I have owned – 3rd and best pair the they cut out the loud bangs when shooting but amplify the ambient sound brilliantly. I kept looking around me thinking there was a pheasant right next to me when it was in the bushes nearby! Good build quality too. I read that some fake ones have been sold but the camo ones I got were the real deal – check the battery compartment – shouldn’t have springs and should have quality control sticker. very pleased.

I purchased these electronic ear muffs over 2 years ago and they have been very good until recently. They became uncomfortable making my ears ache. I had a look on the internet for any suggestions and found that other people were having similar problems, not just with this make. The solution is to buy replacement ear seals. Zohan make a pair of gel ear seals that fit this make. They are a bit expensive at 26 but they are worth it. It’s a shame that Honeywell don’t fit gel ear seals as standard.

I have ONE complaint with these. They could do with a little mark to show which way needs to go forward to pick up noise for the microphone, that’s literally my only gripe.

They look good. With the mic’ off loud bangs are down to mild pop’s, and speech is nothing more than a muffled whisper. The them unit on you can here speech absolutely crystal clear and there’s no delay between speaking then speech coming through the speakers.

They’re comfy, look good, have nicely adjustable speaker volume and do the job perfectly. Really can’t complain.

I bought these as a backup pair for my Peltor Sportacs or for friends to use. The sound quality of the headphones isn’t as good as the Peltors and they aren’t as comfortable, however they were less than half price. An improvement would be a separate on/off switch, as per the Peltors, rather than switching off the unit using the volume switch. Because every time you use them you have to set/adjust the sound level, which is a pain. Other than that I’d recommend them for use with shotguns.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSorry I can’t hear you, I’m wearing my ear defenders! Seriously I use these for shotgun shooting and they’re on all day with no issues. Noise cancelling works well and they pick up normal sounds very well. Only thing I’d change is to have a bit more adjustment in the headband as if you’ve got a big head, the earpieces can be a bit awkward to adjust. Other than that, good product which does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Great entry level set of ear defenders. Noise cancellation is brilliant and works very well. After 2 or 3 hours of use these were slightly uncomfortable, and I believe that is where the more expensive products would do better. For a casual user though they are more than up to the job.

Contact with gun stock on mounting rules it out for me shooting but in fairness short neck and Blaser Sporting Stock.Sound level controls cut in late so very little control adjustment on the set I have. For filming shooting as I do they are fit for purpose ar a reasonable price.

The aux-headphone Jack is still not clear enough, I’m experiencing static noise for my earphones other accessories, maybe I got the unlucky batch.

For those who like to hear the crack of gunfire without bursting their ear drums, the noise cancellation is great. You can hear other people speaking clearly without taking them off. Fit is good and will easily go over a flat cap or other hat, though I’ve found a couple of times I’ve had to readjust them when they slid too far and interfered with gun mount (to be fair that’s after about a hundred shots and lots of walking). Doesn’t break the bank so I’m not too precious with them.

So many mixed reviews on these defenders, still I took the plunge and purchased. At 40 you can’t beat the quality and functionality of these. They work very well. Outside on a windy day the volume requires Turing down but I can still talk and hear range commands easily. Great product at a great price.

  29. Megan Wollerton says:

Work brilliantly. Very good passive attenuation and the mics / electronics / speakers are good quality with plenty of gain – I can hear better with these than without as I’m slightly deaf, so very good as a hearing aid! Remarkably the stereo gives a good 3D impression of where the sounds are coming from. The only slight niggle is that they can get slightly in the way of the gun butt when trying to aim, but that might just be my particular physique.

Cancel the noise great. Can really get your head close to the stock of a shotgun with these, my other ones I found hard to get so close. Pose cancellation is great, well quiet enough for safe levels with shooting a shotgun, very comfortable.

Also, with the volume up loud, makes you feel super human, can hear things you wouldn’t normally hear. One night I decided to have them on in the living room (to my other half’s dis satisfaction) and I can hear everything so amplified it’s crazy, if you get them, give it a go! Also no lag at all on the amplification.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersVery happy with these! I was a bit apprehensive of the price – and hearing that there are clones on the market.
My first time using them to a bit of practice getting the volume right, but soon sorted that…
Its a surreal feeling – when you can hear the grass/leaves crunching under your feet as your walking(that I never usually hear), but voice volume and loud shotgun blasts are at a comfortable level.. However if you do turn them up too much then the shotgun blasts do get loud.. I havnt tried them with music yet, and to be fair I probably wont bother. I guess though from what I have heard through them, any music will be tinny and have no base line. But this is not what I bought them for.
Battery access can be tricky/fiddly, but closing is quick and simple.
All in all I am SUPER HAPPY with my purchase. Considering I was looking at 500 for a top of the range pair, these are awesome, and just what I want from a pair of ear protection. I would like to try an average pair (200) to see if there is any difference… But that’s going to take umpteen pay cheques first…

GO FOR IT BUY A PAIR, you shouldn’t be disappointed.

Great for the price. The sound quality is ok not as good as the more expensive brands. They are a good cheap set of ear protectors that block out shotgun noise quite well. Will defor always keep a set in my bag as spares. Do have occasional issue where 1 of the speakers stops working but not a big issue since they still do the primary job of protecting your ears.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve now got 2 of these, plus a much more expensive set (for my better half, fussy mare).
They fit well, you can squeeze a set of inner earphones for your phone etc underneath. They adjust well, don’t work loose over time etc.
The battery life is very good – much better than the top-of-the-range items I can assure you.
The controls are positive and effective – just don’t leave them switched on, as that wil kill the batteries in short order – but they still perform as standard ear defenders.
Comfy and most importantly, do cut out damaging noise. As you adjust the sensitivity, you become aware of how effective these are – conversations around you become clearer and you can hear ALOT more. Probably like having Spider senses or vampire powers I’d imagine, however when something loud happens (such as gunfire), the headphones level off the sound so you still hear the report but not the stunning ‘ouch, that hurt’ kind of effect you’d experience without them.
They do have a jack port for an external source but it doesn’t actually work that well so I don’t use it.
Aside from that, the only other downside is that they don’t come with a hard cover otherwise, it’s all good.

WARNING!! Do not get these for work. If you work with machines these are not for you, I work in a joinery and if I have these turn on, and someone has a saw running, it sounds like a aeroplane is taking off in my ear canal.
In Heinz sight, I should have realised these are more suited to shooting than any thing else.
Let me note, I’m not saying these are bad, quite the opposite, they are amazing, if you were hunting just not for machinery.

I’m not giving it five stars for the reason that I haven’t gone hunting with them yet so I don’t know how good they are in its element.

Very good product, if genuine. Unfortunately i got a counterfit one from a seller called brisy. You can tell straight away by the battery contacts and lack of stickers, although i had been using them since 2016 and thought they were genuine. Mine worked well and had no problems though im now concerned by how much protection they have been giving me. Anyway 2 years later after contacting amazon they refunded me so cannot fault amazon. If you have bought these, check them as per other reviews to see how to spot the genuine ones.

I tried them on only twice the sound quality is amazing I can hear the conversations and traps going on and it will cut off the blast as it should. the only issue so far (and I think I’m still trying to figure out the fit) 5 out of 10 mounts the stock hit the earmuff, so make sure to adjust them and fit them correctly or you might move them away from your ear. otherwise great produc

These are the first ear defenders I have purchased for clay pigeon shooting. Thay fit really well (I have a large head!) and snug over my ears (my ears are smallish however). They work as described, keeping loud sounds to a minimum and increasing the volume of quiet sounds. I really can hear people approaching me on the path from behind, great for situational awareness. Wearing eye protection with them can be a bit tricky, my glasses have a soft frame on the bit that goes behind your ears and the headset actually sits on top of that part of the frame. I think with a rigid frame this could be uncomfortable. The slim design means that I haven’t had any stock bump when firing a shotgun. The only negative is if you turn them up as loud as they go, the sound becomes a bit distorted. For around 35 I think these are well worth it for entry level electronic ear defenders.

Very popular in shooting circles. Well made, comfortable and effective. As well as being reasonably priced they have several advantages. They are slim in profile meaning they do not intrude when putting your cheek to the rifle stock. The battery housing is easy to access via a sliding clip in panel. It takes proper triple A batteries and not those weird sized ones. It has an auto switch off circuit so I am still on the original batteries 2 years in. Finally, these really look the business. It puts me in mind of something a young Mel Gibson would wear in one of those Lethal Weapon movies. All lustrous curly locks and no nonsense brooding looks. Going round fighting crime and busting hoodlums!

  39. SashaWilkes says:

Unobtrusive, simple to operate, very effective and excellent value at this price (sub 50)… One thing to bear in mind, it’s very easy to get just the same quality for twice the money if you work hard at it.

Used for clay pigeon shooting and with a single switch which clicks it, turns the volume up/down and clicks it off, it’s just simple, one handed operation without having the look at what you’re doing. Batteries easy to replace via a clip off cover and the loud gunshots are brought straight down to comfort level whilst you’re chatting with the person next to you comfortably.

Very happy with these and I just hope I get a decent life out of them.

I’m also independent of the manufacturer/seller and don’t know anybody from either firm… but thank them both.

I’ve been using these earmuffs for about 6 months at the shooting range and they work splendidly for their rather low price.

Two AAA batteries will power these earmuffs for many outings at the range (but carry spare batteries with you just in case). Replacing batteries is extremely easy.

The sound isn’t spectacular (don’t expect Hi-Fi sound from these), but the sound amplification when you turn the volume up is amazing: I can hear bees and flies buzzing the nearby fields as if they were right at my ear.
Loud noise detection (and muffling) could be better/faster, but they manage to do the trick and muffle shots relatively well, although I tend to lower the volume all the way down when at a very busy range (or at a target competition).

They are very light to wear and comfortable even for several hours, although the rubber pads that don’t absorb any moisture do cause some extra sweating in the summer. I would recommend wiping them with baby wipes after each (sweaty) use, as the rubber pads will stick together when you fold them and leave them a couple days.
They aren’t ideal for people with smaller heads (my wife has a couple centimeters of room between the top of her head and the headband). For me they are a perfect fit.

They fold neatly into a very compact package, leaving more room in your range bag for other gear. Highly recommended (considering the price you can get them for – under 40 GBP). Obviously, more expensive active earmuffs will be better, but at this price range, Impact Sport are unbeatable – definitely the best bang for the buck.

I can definitely say that after having used these ear defenders in deepest, darkest, coldest, wettest Pirbright, they were worth every penny. They work brilliantly at cancelling out the blast of 5.56mm rounds whilst still allowing one to hear the commands of the RCO and even play some cracking tunes whilst on butts party! I would however recommend doubling up with earplugs if firing on an indoor range as even a .22 going off inside was a little too loud for my liking and they produce a lot of feedback when I’m whistling which is my next favourite pastime after shooting. But, at less than 35 when I bought them I can’t really ask for much more.

  42. RandellO43 says:

I use them regularly for shotgun and rife and I have to say that they are better than expected. The instant reduction in sound when guns fire (or even someone coughs nearby) is excellent. I would definitely recommend, especially at this price. Short of actually shooting for me I don’t know what the much more expensive makes can do better. As other reviews have said the sound level can be adjusted to actually amplify ambient sounds. I find this invaluable for listening to others and awareness whilst shooting clays or for Range Officer instruction (never mind listening to gossip spread by surrounding shooters). The headset is very comfortable and is easily worn for hours, both whilst actually shooting and the periods in between. I wished I had bought a pair years ago.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersVery good for the reduced price, although I don’t think I would be as happy if I had paid in full.

My biggest issue is the fit/sizing. Whilst I cannot blame that entirely on the product as we are all indeed very different I have a couple of issues. Due to the wires from each muff interfering with the head strap I am finding that they do not sit flush on the head, rather they are at a slight angle and this obviously reduces their effectiveness. The other down side, although low profile, they seem to intefer with the stock when held up to the cheek.

However, both of the above can be put down to me, the individual, as I am comparatively small. I do have a small head and find these are adjusuted to the smallest setting to fit me. That said I do think it is the root of my problem so to mark the product down for that would be unfair. To put this in perspective I ride motorcycles using a M to MS size crash helmet.

Functionally these work great for shooting, build quiality is good but the battery cover can sometimes be finicky to remove. Sounds can easily be heard, even amplified if required with the harmful levels, such as gun fire, are taken out nicely.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have always used hearing protection for shooting but used ear plugs in the past as they did not interfere with gun mounting. Noticed the plugs were not as good as I thought after firing a lot of cartridges one day and decided to invest in these.

These are great. Once you adjust them on your head so that you don’t hit them with the stock when mounting the gun they work very well. Now I won’t shoot without them. They take away the percussion noise that damages your hearing and at the same time not only allow you to hear normally but can amplify the noises in your surroundings dependant on the setting. This ensures safety as your normal perception of your surroundings is not comprimised and also allows you to detcect approaching quarry easily. They take standard AAA batteries so no searching for obscure expensive batteries not that I have had to change the batteries that came with them despite extended use. Depending on whether the weather is hot or cold the fact that they keep your ears warm is a plus or a minus. I use them most in the winter so that is not a problem. Overall a great piece of kit.

The ability to shut out gun shot is fantastic. I didnt even notice the change from having a conversation to shooting, it felt very natural.
I would suggest if you have a small head this may not be good for you and the adjustable band has its limitations and can result in your ears not being fully sealed within and you may hit the edge with the stock. I found after an hour or so of keeping them on, your ear does start to sweat a little which. However all that aside, these are great and proves you do not need to spend the money needed for the 3M peltor version.

I had read a few other reviews were people had described some background noise or one of the ear muffs crackling… this did happen with mine too but it’s not that noticeable when in use for the reason that they were purchased for

Another tip with the Aux cable although it doesn’t mention this in the book when I first connected the cable to play music through my phone nothing happened… until I swapped the camera lens around but they are both the same and it worked! Ensure that your phone is turned up for the music and then you don’t have to turn your headphones up that much and be deafened when someone speaks scared me for the first time ha ha.

These are fantastic very happy after having a bad experience with a pair of 3M Peltor Tactical 6S.

Prior to purchasing the Howard Leights I purchased a pair of 3M Peltor Tactical 6S, I was Severely disappointed! They were incredibly hard to change the batteries, took 4xAAA, had two on off switches and volume controls and had faulty speakers!! I’m not even sure if Peltor even has a QA department as they were clearly faulty, if anyone had actually bothered to test them they would have known AND they were almost 30 more than the Howard Leights! for that premium price and the well known brand I expected a higher quality, how wrong I was.

Compared the the Peltor Tacical 6s The Impact Sport by Howard Leight are fantastic! they are more comfortable, feel sturdier only take 2xAAA are very easy to change the batteries only have one power/volume dial and have very clear sound you can even hear people talking in the distance you couldn’t hear with your own hearing. Overall if your into shooting and are on a budget you will not be disappointed with the Howard Leights! Also if they are good enough for Eric from Moss Pawn & Gun and IV8888 YouTube channel they are good enough for me.

Can’t fault these for the price. I did a bunch of research and got all tied up with reviews talking about “don’t scrimp on ear protection” and whether they were too big / small / noisy / quiet.

I bit the bullet and bought these as my first set of ear defenders. They are spot on. Turned right up, they give you super-power hearing. Turned off, they are just good ear defenders.

I don’t usually get on with over-ear headphones but these aren’t a problem at all. They’ve been out in the rain too and didn’t affect them at all.

Let’s face it, you’ll pay the same amount for a few boxes of cartridges and clays so if these are your first set, go for it. I’m very pleased.

A good value product but find they do not fit as snug as they should at the bottom of my ears.
This may be due to my head shape! When shooting next to someone with a .45 shots are still loud but do not cause discomfort. The volume control works very well. Can hear speech from the other side of the range. When you can hear your clothes rustling you just lower the volume a bit. I have not tried more expensive ear muffs so it’s hard for me to compare these with others.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBeen using these for a few week, and I agree with all the other good reviews: it’s a great pair of Earmuffs — they fit my (large) head, even with a cap on, and I can wear them for a few hours up to a point I stop noticing they are on (!).

So it’s definitely 5 stars, and worth the money — there is only ONE drawback to these, is that they pick up mobile phones ‘chatter’; like when you put your phone near speakers. Well you’ll hear that now and then if your mobile phone is nearby, and it can be a bit distracting… However, there’s probably little that can be done about it, given the nature of the product.

A comfortable fitting set of ear protection with the added advantage of being able to hear people talking at normal voice level without having to shout, or take them off. I use them for clay target shooting and find them excellent at blocking the gunfire noise yet still letting me carry on normal conversation without taking them off. The only drawback I have found is that you sometimes get wind noise if it is a breezy day. So comfortable that it is easy to forget you are wearing them. Would definitely recommend them. A small LED incorporated, to show whether switched on or off would be helpful as it is easy to remove them and forget to turn them off.

Just purchased my Impact Sport Earmuff and shot with them for the first time this afternoon using a 12 bore semi-automatic shotgun.

It was a windy afternoon but conversation was clear. Once you adjust the volume level to the circumstances the product is absolutely fine. Too high and you pick up unwanted background sound. Sound direction was clear and you can pick out individual bird song several metres away. When the gun fired the product was fine, cutting down the sound of the gun in a split second. I had no concerns. Handy 3mm jack means you can plug in a phone or similar product should you ever wish. Excellent price through Amazon ( I was quoted 72 for the exact same product at a gun club). Ordered on Wednesday afternoon, arrived Friday morning although I paid a couple of quid extra for the post. Recommended.

I use power tools all the time and sometimes i got a headache from so much noise… This is kind of strange to wear when there is no loud noise, as you hear all normal sounds either too low or too loud according to your volume setting, and even when that’s just right, you still feel weird, as these earmuffs block outside sound allmost completly, and everything has to be reproduced inside the phones, sounding a little artificial. But you forget all about it the moment you turn on some noise source, and then you thank heaven for these earmuffs, as you are still able to monitor your surroundings and react to a shout or phone call for example. But with no headaches (or hearing loss for that matter). Recomend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAlthough I have not used these in the field, I have tried them using my stereo and they reduce ambient noise and then amplify sound effectively using the integral roller adjuster.
They are adjustable and comfortable to wear and are a slimmer in design than others that I looked at.
I sometimes shoot in a cap and at other times wear a trilby and experiments show that the headphones fit over the cap and under the trilby nicely, so meet that requirement.
My shooting glasses arms fit under the headphones comfortably and are held in place firmly by them.
All in all I think these are just what I wanted and hope that they perform as well in the field as they do in my lounge, if not I will come back and modify this review.

Having shot with these headphones I can now add that I am very pleased, conversation is easy with them on but the sound of the shot much reduced – ideal. They need to be set at the right level or you will get a little feedback, but no more than I would expect.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersHad these a nearly year now (purchased via Amazon Feb 12) and use them nearly every week since purchasing for both target rifle shooting (.22lr,& loud 7.62) & 12 bore clay shooting. Very comfortable. Not yet needed to change the first set of batteries. Excellent noise reduction @ the point when it counts the most; so ordinary conversation can take place when not shooting wearing these. If you turn the volume up I sure it even improves my own hearing.
Note to self – Don’t let the wife wear them.
You wont go far wrong buying a set of these rather than being sucked into spending a lot more on other branded product. Also love the fact that they fold down really neatly so don’t take up much room in your bag. And are slimmer than most other brands when on your head.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI have had these earmuffs for about 6 months now and have had no problems at all. The volume you can hear is fully adjustable and you can turn adjust it to hear conversation clearly and the shot is still blanked out to a perfectly acceptable level, if you adjust the volume louder you do start to pick up all sorts of noises such as birds and the trees rustling which may be of use for hunting but for clays I just set it below the point it picks up other noises.
They are not the most comfortable set of earmuffs I have ever work but are perfectly fine for a few hours and are much cheaper than many of the alternatives. The battery life seems very good and I have not yet changed the batteries and have used them for about 20 hours so far.

I have used Peltor slim passive ear defenders for clay shooting for many years but decided to try an electronic set. These make it easier to hear one’s fellow competitors speaking but also to hear the scorer calling a kill or a miss. The Impact Sport headset is slim, light and just as comfortable to wear as my old passive set. Ordinary noises such as speech or birdsong are transmitted clearly but the sound of gunfire is muffled at least as effectively as my old ones.

The volume control is easy to use and I cannot think why one would want individual control for each ear unless perhaps one’s hearing had already been damaged in one ear.
There is some white noise when the volume control is turned up very high but as I found the ideal setting was about one third of the maximum, this is not likely to be a problem.

The order was delivered within two days of ordering. At 61.99 post free these are very competitively priced and very effective.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersI purchased these electronic ear-muffs for target shooting. I am very new to the sport and I wanted to make certain I will be able to listen to the instructor’s advice and any safety instructions without having to take the ear-muffs off (thus risking having my ears unprotected when someone else would fire). I have used it once so far and it works very well. I am able to amplify my surrounding sounds and at the same time, block any loud sounds (such as gunfire). The ear-muffs seat comfortably on my head and ears and the fact that you can control them using one button only makes them very user friendly. I would recommend this product to people that are interested in blocking loud souns but still maintain an excellent awareness of their surrounding environment.
