This printer is very good. I use it to produce advertising material in a Christian community that helps those people less fortunate.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLike many others I got fed up with my occasional-use inkjet having clogged nozzles, then wasting tons of ink doing deep cleans.
This laser was dead easy to set up; configure wifi on the very clear display and set paper size to A4. That’s it – no need to touch the toner cartridges at all. You can install the Windows Store app but don’t have to.
Then Windows PCs just see it as a network printer and it works perfectly.

As described by the seller. Works fine – very pleased.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOur original colour laser was the size of a small house and it cost thousands of s. But it was about 16 years old. We couldn’t get the cartridges for it any more [and when we could they cost over 100 each!] so we bought this HP printer which is about the size of, well . . . of a modern desktop printer. It has stacks of features including printing by WiFi which is useful for people using laptops and also printing from the phone. Replacement cartridges are very reasonably priced and they seem to last a long time. Overall, couldn’t be happier.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe printer is very good; however, the toner cost is about the same cost as the printer itself.

Replaces an ancient HP Laserjet 5P from 1996! HP build them well. Build quality is very good as expected.
Set up was straightforward although wireless connection has to be reset each time on startup.
Expensive to buy as are the consumables but you get what you pay for.
    Very satisfied.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI think the people who have written a bad review for this product have just been very unlucky. I’ve been through numerous (inkjet) printers in recent years and they’ve all broken or dried up pretty quickly. This is by far the best printer I’ve purchased to date. I’ve had it 3 months and it’s worked perfectly since the first day. The print quality is fantastic for office work (way better than I need actually), it’s fast and picks up the signal every time. I would highly recommend. The only reason I have given 4 stars is because of the cost of the cartridges but I knew this was coming as I researched before purchasing. Given the number of inkjet printers I have discarded after just one year, I figured this was still worthwhile.

It’s pretty cheap for what it does. I noticed a slow down in printing speed so modified the Print Settings as found on the web and it sped up.

Operation instructions were a joke. On line were little better. For an older person it was a challenged.

Overall its a good printer, only downside is the cost of the toners which I guess applies to all laser colour printers, and it is very noisy!! I had a 20 year old laser printer which was quieter!

I personally think this is the best model for a colour laser printer. It work fast, resolution is fair, the size of the printer is small and the design is clean. I love it!

To me, the size is more important than the resolution, otherwise I would go for HP Color LaserJet Pro M454dw, as it can go up to 38,400 x 600 dpi Print Enhanced. But obviously its slightly bigger and 4kg more heavier.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was concerned about buying this printer as there were a lot of negative reviews. However I had no problems at all. I use Windows and I think a lot of the bad reviews were with Apple products.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis printer is hard to setup as a wired network printer,it keeps wanting you to set up a HP account which will allow the printer to order toner when it gets low.But at HP prices it works out cheaper to get a new printer, one colour toner cartridge is 109 for standard and it takes 4 cartridge ‘s to make a set no wonder there are so many refilled companies on here offering cheap refills, then you have HP putting chips in the cartridge to stop you using these refills

Unpacking was straightforward. Setup was easy. Getting it printing from a Windows desktop PC, Mac laptop, Android phone and two tablets, and an iPhone all problem-free. Decent quality prints. Double sided. Quick to respond from sleep. Solid construction. Works on both the 5Gz Wi-Fi and 5Gz Extender. The official toner is expensive but expect that to be only about an annual purchase.

After years of praying to the inkjet printer Gods for the thing to just work when I want it to print, this just works. It shouldn’t be spooky, but it sort of is, in a good way.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersWorks very well, print quality ok, not as good as I was expecting from a laser printer even a entry-level one. Ok for drafts but I would not use it for production documents. I find the print density quite faint, I have not found any draft/final print option so i assume it is on full all the time. It was easy to set up, I was surprised at how little you have to do to get it running, I thought I’d missed something! Mine is working just fine on our ‘just adequate’ WiFi system. I have been told that it is expensive to run, toner cartridges, although I have not yet bought any given that it is new. The printer is fast enough for modest home use but very noisy and it has a habit of waking during zoom calls! Ok for the money, print a bit faint and noisy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI had a canon pixma 5750 before this. it ran out of ink very quickly if you used it and if you didn’t use it the ink would dry up. either way you were buying a lot of ink. and more often than not it wouldn’t print anything anyway and if it did it would take about 10 minutes to warm up. but most of the time it would just sit there refusing to do anything like a black dollop of useless plastic.

this laser jet just works. I’m told the print quality isn’t as good as a pixma but not to my eyes. I will never go back to inkjet.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersEasy setup, great print quality, only had this standard in an office before. It’s amazing to think you can have one of these at home! . Can also print via AirPrint from anywhere in the house on the same WiFi network. Prints from Apple devices and a thinkpad, no problem. I was swayed to the HP as there was a 75 cash back and 3 year commercial warranty, both of which I’ve claimed, which from a cost consideration put it on a par with other similar printers. HP have been doing laser jets for years. You can tell!
