HP LaserJet M110we Printer with 6 months of Instant Toner

HP LaserJet M110we Printer with 6 months of Instant Toner Included with HP +

About Us
When the Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) was founded in 1939, the world was a very different place. There were no fully electronic computers. The only printers were industrial-sized printing presses. Palo Alto, California was composed mostly of fruit orchards. The internet was decades away from fruition.
The storied history of HP coincides with the development of home computing and the rise of Silicon Valley. HP’s innovations were instrumental in making home computers and printers more affordable for the average consumer, and their success inspired a wave of electronics companies to start-up in Santa Clara County, California. Everyone wanted to hang out in HP’s neck of the woods.

We are light users so no more than 10 pages printed at a time. Quick to start up and prints clearly with no streaks, smudges or light areas but we do only print invoices and spreadsheets.
brilliant little printer, I never need to print in colour so this is perfect, so easy to set up and I can print from any device, iphone, mac, or ipad.
In a nutshell if your after a new mono laser printer, then give the HP M11Owe Laser Jet a try!! I’m very pleased with mine!!.
It is great at all its features but is abit slow and noisy
I had a lot of difficulty setting the printer up on my iPad. I kept getting error messages.
I contacted HP, and spoke to a technician in SERBIA on my mobile phone! I was on the phone for nearly
2 hours! Also had to try and set the printer up on my laptop which I had to give him remote control of.
We did manage to set it up in the end. Shame it doesn’t print in colour.
Now this is not a colour printer, it’s a black and white laser jet printer. Printing is very fast compared to an inkjet, and the quality, to my eyes, is much better. But I am mostly printing text. The few times I have printed something with photos, the quality has been good.
Over all, for price, this is an amazing printer, if you print a lot of text, and deserves the full five stars.
There’s nothing to dislike about this printer, it’s great, don’t believe everything you hear about laser printers. They’re not as expensive to run as you would think. I know this one is only black ink, but I don’t print photos anymore, so that helps. Also inkjet cartridges are becoming scary. Easy to set up and maintain.
Waiting for your advice.
Thanks
Not the case. I shall explain……
This printer is for my septuagenarian mother-in-law to use at her home 150 miles away, where she has Windows 10, ChromeOS and Android so I needed it to be quick to install and require minimum support from me.
Step 1
Unpack and remove the transport tapes. Install the paper ‘tray’ cover and add some paper.
Step 2
Plug into the mains and press the power button to wake the printer. It will do some simple tests for a few moments.
Step 3 (on a mobile running Android)
Install the HP Smart app and follow the setup process to create an account, add the printer and send it the wi-fi password.
You can now print from Android.
Step 4 (on a ChromeOS device)
Go to Settings. Search for “Add a printer” and find the new printer at the bottom of the page. Tap on “Save” next to the printer then (optional) tap on “edit” next to it at the page to change the name to something you will recognise later.
You can now print from ChromeOS.
Step 4 (on a Windows 10 machine)
Press the Windows key. Type ‘printer’ (without the quotes) and press enter to go into the printers and devices settings page. Click ‘+Add a printer or scanner’ and then choose the new printer. Follow the prompts.
You can now print from Windows 10.
Scanning is a little more complicated but in ChromeOS it’s a doddle. Photocopying is a single button on the printer control panel.
A truly great choice for the casual user like myself that just wants to print the odd document or custom wine labels.
This was effortless installation through the app and the dreaded ink subscription starts at 3.49/month for 100 pages with a six-month free trial, in which you get 1,5000-page worth of free ink every month. 100 pages a month should cover what the average family needs in today’s digital-first environment.
The connection is flawless. I can print from anywhere in the world from my phone and send the paper to the printer at home. I printed yesterday from the living room and found the stack of hundreds of printed sheets when I came to the study upstairs. Convenience, functionality, compact size, decent quality black and white print.
My son is preparing for GCSE and printing a lot of past papers, so this is the absolute ideal solution for us. Well done, HP.
I’ll change this review if it works without the Internet but hopefully if it doesn’t my review will assist in helping folk avoid buying it and urging them to buy bigger- you only want this one if you have confined space – NOW I KNOW- it doesn’t work away from home unless you have good tethering or create a hotspot etc.
