Paid 139.99 for a excellent printer and was very pleased with it when it come, I have saved over a hundred pounds and got the printer I have been looking at for a while. Easy to set up and had it running within an hour.
We bought HP in March 2021 as our Epson printers never printed properly. We thought by changing printers that would solve our problem. Seems HP printer did not print properly from beginning. We did everything. We contacted HP and very quick to get through. Agents were so helpful. They sent us print cartridges that fitted inside printer. Very quicker service. Very easy to replace. Printing perfect now. What a difference. So HP had problem from start. Although you have eco ink on outside it seems printers have 2 cartridges of print heads inside under printing section. We are happy that HP responded and helped us. I would use HP in future as very reliable and agents know their stuff. Thanks.
I’ve seen other reviews complaining about lack of double sided printing – to be fair, the product description doesn’t state anywhere that it does automatic double sided printing. You can print double sided if you’re prepared to simply reverse the paper manually after the first print. If you have a large volume of printing that you want to double-side print automatically, then you may prefer to get a printer that offers that functionality.
Overall, very pleased. One star dropped because I do feel the price I paid is a little high considering the build, which is quite plasticky but overall, I’d recommend, especially if you can get a good deal on it.
Larger than a regular cartridge based home printer by built well. Ink tanks are very large and I believe the claims on page yield. Printer has so far been very reliable, and the auto feeder for the scanner works well.
I can’t help think that this is what printers should have been like since day one, without all of the waste of buying cartridges.
Fed up with the over blown cost of print cartridges I said I would give this type of ink fill printer a try. Very easy to set up, it actually does all the settings and wifi passwords for you, and it comes with a good supply of ink. Ingenious system for topping up the inkwells when needed. Using it over the wifi its prints instantly. All good so far.
I like that the printer was easy to assemble, including the ink cartridges.
It has very good all-round functionality, enhanced with the HP Smart mobile application.
It struggles a bit with only moderate speed and moderate quality print output. The quality is okay for letters and presentations to friends.
Printer deemed faulty and returned, with the supplier able to deliver a replacement at the same time. The new printer (Smart Tank Plus 570) was up and running within minutes, with no issues.
I can’t fault the supplier, JJ PC Store, who were prompt, polite and efficient. I would be happy to go back to them for any future printer needs.
print quality for documents is clear and good, ink is easy to fill and no spills….tho watch the foils that you remove from the bottles because they will have ink underneath them!…. easy enough to print both sides if you are pateint enough to slot all the sheets back in manually, not the fastest, not the most quiet, good size touch screen easy to use menus, wireless took a minute to set up but no problems, overall not quite as good as some of the competition but a better price for the features it has.
Firstly, it was described as white but thankfully turned out to be black, so check it is the colour you want. Was delivered ahead of the scheduled time slot which was good. I took my time to install the printer and soon discovered that installing the print heads was not as straightforward as it would appear but an online video soon corrected that.
All in all it is easy to use, as you should expect with regard to the price. Simple and straight forward (apart from the print heads ) and printing is good.
Very clear step by step instructions in words, pictures and videos, yes I did play one or two very short ones a second time to be certain, but no hassle whatsoever with the installation.
It is very friendly and the interface is well thought out. Excellent Wi-Fi reception and fast transmission. The printer does exactly what it says and more. It takes a little time to pair all the devices we have, but you only have to do it once and its a breeze after the first one. I recommend it as a great buy and value for money.
