Hard to fault this at the price. The picture quality is good and the high frame rate is really noticeable on shooters like Apex, running with a GeForce RTX 3060.

Has a headphone only jack, no speakers no USB. Frame bezels are about 8mm from edge to the actual pixels.

You do need a display port cable to get the 144hz rate though, the supplied HDMI cable will only support 60hz.

Great monitor, no complaints from me.

This comes packaged with an HDMI cable and not a DisplayPort cable so make sure you order a DisplayPort cable along side this. (HDMI only gets up to 60hz, DisplayPort allows for 144hz).

Once setup, right click desktop > display settings > advanced > change the refresh rate from 60hz to 144hz.

Navigating the monitor settings is easy. The settings need tweaked after setup, I highly recommend setting the Viewing Mode to Gaming and the Color Control to whatever you feel looks best.

Good Monitor. Buy a DisplayPort Cable.

Great monitor for work and if you want to do gaming. One thing to keep in mind is that it’s on a heavy side, so make sure your table can handle it’s weight. My table is flimsy and got bent underneath it’s weight lol

Great 1440p high refresh rate experience. Easy to setup, pivot adjustment makes connecting/changing cables easy. Would recommend.

I really love this display, it’s probably the nicest one I’ve ever owned, it has everything I wanted except HDR which I suppose isn’t too big of a deal. The 144hz refresh rate looks stunning and it pairs really well with my TV. The wide angle screen is excellent and beautifully clear and the gree LED strip on the front isn’t too in your face. The stand is height adjustable and the monitor can be connected by HDMI or Displayport, this monitor has really lovely colours too and really satisfies every need I had.

Nabbed this when it randomly dropped to 200 for a day. No dead pixels or subpixels, didn’t notice any backlight bleed. Height adjust and pivot are nice. I have an Nvidia card and no DP cable so can’t test the adaptive refresh rate or try an overclock. There’s a “response time” setting in the menu from 1 to 5 which I assume is overdrive; perhaps slightly less ghosting on level 5 and no sign of a corona, on ufotest. Colour accuracy isn’t a priority but was able to set decent contrast and gamma. The power adapter is integrated which adds weight but is tidier. The green LED can be turned off and the other green highlights are subtle in person; it’s not an ugly monitor. Bezels are average. Sturdy stand. Heavy – 7.35kg.

Very good (and adjustable) frame rate. works with GSync (but as it is not full certified some features are not 100% and your milage may vary) colours look good and the besel around the edge is very thin.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersReally nice looking monitor, height adjustable, rotates to do portrait, hdmi display port and speaker OUT only.

If it’d had vga it would have been perfect, but in this modern world you should be moving away from vga.

I’m not using it for gaming, but for Office use the whites are white, it’s crisp and sharp.

Bought this for my Hubby. Arrived well packaged. Easy to assemble. Picture is awesome. The only downside that we found was that the instructions were in every language except English so have no idea what all the buttons under the Monitor are for with exception of the on off one. But no doubt bit of playing around he will work it out. Other than that very happy Well worth the Money.

Biggest positive for me is that the adaptive sync works perfectly with my nvidia GPU – no tearing without the need to have vsync on! Described as a “gaming monitor” probably due to its high refresh rate, but it looks very professional and clean. Suitable for anyone who wants a smooth gaming or general PC experience. Great value for money.

Great monitor for refresh rate, remember you need use a DP cable (included) for 240hz. Picture quality is pretty average otherwise. I’d recommend you try get 1440p minitor if 240hz isn’t that important to you.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirst unit sent was faulty so not the best first impression. Replacement works fine. Nice height adjustable stand is good as this price point. The image displayed is pretty good, nothing amazing but at this price it’s better than I expected. Colours are good and response is plenty fast enough. My gaming improved moving to this from the laptops internal display. Overall happy and would recommend for anyone who needs a fast gaming display on a small budget.

Good IPs screen, didn’t notice too much issue in low light areas, nice finish to the monitor and decent over 100hz. If you need a small IPS screen either for your main or secondary screen I recommend this one! Has the best over tall stats of any similar prices monitors.

Pro: great for gaming. Low input lag and fast response time

Con: display port is NOT hdcp 2.2 so you can not stream anything higher than 1080p content to this using netflix or other similar services. So the 1440p screen will only be utilized for gaming and YouTube i guess

Unfortunately I’m seeing a little backlight bleeding in the corners, but not enough to cause any major distraction. Otherwise the monitor is decent. Very sturdy stand, which allows a range of adjustments and does exactly what it claims and games run nicely at high frame rates with no tearing.

I’m not a fan of the green LED, but it’s very easy to turn off and it’s good to have that option.

The physical bezels are very narrow, but this isn’t a borderless monitor as there is a black border of about 5mm around the picture when the monitor is on (as shown in the screenshots).

Great IPS screen, no glares and super bright. I’m running RTX2070super and hitting 90fps on most big titles, everything looks so much smoother. Simple design, took about 2 minutes to set up everything. It’s quite heavy, so be gentle with it.

Have tried LG, Dell, ViewSonic in 27 and 32 inch flavours …. all had issue or problems.
Stumbled across this one and wow, so happy.
Looks good, sharp image, best of all a great easy to use menu accessible easily with easy to reach buttons (take note LG!)
Have only used it for interweb stuff and some light gaming so far but suitably impressed and got it from the Amazon Warehouse so an even better purchase.
    Happy.

If you prefer frame rates over fancy graphics it’s a good product. Colours definitely need calibration, viewing angles are fine for this type of screen, nothing amazing nothing terrible. Software is AMAZING makes changing profiles etc a breeze with no need to lean over and wrestle with the back of the monitor (though the joystick control is definitely a nice touch). What wins this monitor a spot in my setup is its low latency/response times, no overshooting, no ghosting smooth, unbelievably responsive. If you play competitive games you’ll never go back to a 60hz setup ever again. All in all a great product but not cheap by any means.

Great value for money, best for gaming as it messes up on low frame rate movies.

Great product for competitive gaming…fast response and all around great interface. But if you prefer games that are not extremely fast paced and you like to enjoy the scenery than this is not the product for you as the colours are quite faded. They are still good quality but not goid enough for the price of the produc

My use: Needed to pair a monitor with my laptop for my desk set-up. It needed to be 27″, IPS, >60 Hz, display port, ~200-300, 1440p, <5 ms response time. VESA mount for mounting onto bracket.

    The Good:

Specs - Met all my criteria (listed above) and was on sale for 300 (Sold by Amazon, Dec 2020, RRP 400) which was great value and could not find a competing product with these specs, at this price, with good reviews from a reputable brand.

Experience - Can't really complain. Smooth and fluid with high frame rates, easy to set up, good build quality. The thin bezels of sides and top look very sleek and although opinions may be split about the green LED light on the front, I quite like it.

The Bad: Lack of USB hub is a shame as that would have been rather convenient for my set-up. Only 1 x HDMI input which for some may be a bit limiting, if say they wanted to connect multiple devices (consoles, computers etc).

Overall: For my criteria (listed above) this was by far the best option available and at a great price point (details above). As always, make sure the monitor matches your needs an budget otherwise your research can be rather overwhelming.

Best monitor available to buy for my specific criteria (see details below).

Bought to replace my cheaper 144hz. Build quality is great, 240hz is superb and the response times are amazing too. Only thing to note is the lack of swivel on the stand, and the reduced viewing angles and colour reproduction of a TN panel (as a competitive gamer, I don’t notice or need any of these features though, so I’m very happy with my purchase).

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersMonitor seems good so far. Colours seem good, came with no defects (no dead pixels), picture quality and brightness it good. It all seems good especially on the pc aspect. However, not really the monitors fault, but the new Xbox series consoles can’t pick up the 120hz refresh rate frequency at 1440p resolution which is annoying as this was the main reason for me picking this monitor. The issue seems to be due to this monitor apparently not using a standard frequency timing for 120hz at 1440p. I’m hoping Xbox will allow support for these non standard frequency timings as it seems like it’s a common issue for a lot of monitors of the same spec out there. Just beware if that’s your intention for buying.

For the price i expect no less had some graphical features i only just wrapped my head around but all in all a solid monitor only thing is remember you can’t mount it on the wall or on a stand (to my knowledge) and you would be doin a disjustice if you bought this game just for console gaming

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI came across this monitor on sale for 299 and thought I would go for it. There are only 2 reviews online that I can find, one in German and the other in Polish therefore I thought I should leave my opinion here to help people.

All IPS monitors are 4ms. Any that say 1ms are lying. They use tricks to try reduce it to 1ms but it is still 4ms.

The following review is from playing Valorant at a constant 144hz:

    SPECS
One HDMI at 144hz and one displayport at 144hz. 5 pixel overdrive settings, I recomend just setting it to setting 4 and leaving it. Change the picture to game mode. The contrast ratio on this monitor is around 1250:1 where as other IPS monitors it is 1000:1 so you are getting more contrast here.

    DESIGN
The monitor is real ugly in the pictures but thankfully is much nicer when its in front of you. You barely see those two green strips at each side. They do not light up. The chin has a light up green LED that you can change OFF>LOW>MED>HIGH>BREATH. You can not change the colour. The stand is sturdy and lets you adjust height and tilt.

    OPINION
I was waiting on the DELL S2721DGFA but cancelled it because I dont see any reason how it can be much better. 1440p 144hz looks fantastic on this monitor. The colours are really vibrant, no stuck pixels and I cant really notice anything out of the ordinary regarding black light bleed. I have an OLED tv and know what black should look like but this is IPS, it cant display black properly by design. The OLED can display 120hz 1080p and theres just no comparison regarding colours and blacks. It is also 4x the price so not really a fair comparison. But having access to an OLED TV and this, I can assure you I am not dissapointed by this monitor in any way.

This is perfect for PC gaming as well as XBOX X and PS5 for high frame rate.

This monitor comes in secure packaging.
It is well made and easy to assemble and connect.

To be honest I did not take this monitor for gaming but to use as a screen for watching streaming channels and DVD’s and I’m glad I did because the picture quality is really good.
It has an anti-glare, matt screen which is very easy to look at.

The cables provided are a very good quality.
On the bottom left side of the screen is a headphone jack and at the back of the screen is a headphone rest which helps to keep things tidy, there is also a cable tidy as well.

One aspect of this monitor I’m not keen on though is that the on/off and setting buttons are at the back of the screen which is not easy to access, I suppose after a while it will be something I will get used to but I would much prefer them at the front.

So to sum up this is not just a very good gaming monitor but a good screen for streaming and also a computer monitor as well.

As a dedicated gaming pc this is the monitor you want. It’s stylish, sleek and provides a great set up for all of your gaming needs I especially love the rgb backlight.. It takes some tweets out of the box to find the perfect balance for you but I’ve found all screens need some tweaking to match my needs. The picture quality is second to none at 1080p and the refresh rate of 240MHz allows for clear screens and great in game motion. I couldn’t rate this monitor highe

This screen is for a hardcore gamer, someone who is into more than just casual gaming. It has a G- synced enabled monitor with a very high crisp refresh rate and a very, very nice back-lit screen with adjustable settings. The led is a very nice touch although not essential and changeable to fit the player’s set up.

It has 2 hdmi ports and a display port. Relatively easy to access. There is also a 3.5 audio on the monitor which is nice. and 3 usb ports.
The screen itself is heavy which I think is a good thing personally. The screen tilts to viewing needs, it is wall mountable but I have not used it in this way.

It has a built in fps display, built in timer/speed run clock which is why I would see this as a monitor for a gamer who wants the most out of the equipment they can get.

Given the features I would say this is a reasonable price as it is a cut above any other monitor I have used.

All in all very pleased with it so far, relatively easy to set up to get going quickly with the facility to adjust settings once you get used to it and want to fine tune things.

The HP OMEN X 25f is an amazing monitor if your PC can run it. If your PC can easily get 240 FPS in games and you want a new monitor, I highly recommend this one because it is perfect. It is excellent value for money considering it’s price when compared to other monitor’s with the same spec.

The monitor has a height adjust, but no tilt adjust, which hasn’t really been any issue, as the height adjust means you can still get a comfortable eye level, which doesn’t strain your neck. It has small bezels and an RGB light at the bottom that has different lighting effects that can be adjusted on the monitor, it also doubles as a work light. The screen has perfect colour accuracy, which makes it perfect for seeing enemies when playing combat games. It also has a super high refresh rate that is just perfect for gaming in general.

Overall this monitor is ideal if your looking for an upgrade from a smaller screen or a tv screen, as I was previously using! It is overall an amazing monitor and I’m thrilled with it.

First thing first, I don’t like the stand… it’s a diagonal base and you can’t rotate it. Luckily it is also removable and there is a cleverly engineered block which lets you connect it to standard 10×10 grids which is what I have done. Problem solved.

I have used this for gaming and general use and the first thing that strikes me is the brightness… it’s much brighter than most screens I have seen, has good colour representation and seems responsive in terms of gaming. It has a narrow edge which is useful when put next to another screen. There are three inputs (2 x HDMI and one DIsplayport).

Viewing angle is pretty good, and I’m very pleased with this… recommended for sure.

HP Omen gaming monitor very nice quality. I will be honest and admit I don’t have a clue when it comes to monitors, but my husband has been so impressed with this one, he likes the size and the overall quality of the monitor. He has found it easy to set up and use, and found the picture quality has been great with no issues. He has found it easy to get it set up just how he likes it to get the best quality.
