I havent been able to test this on water yet, but I have inflated it and it feels very sturdy altho it dad take me and my son to get the last bit of air into it to reach the recommended psi.
This was the first board I bought and I didn’t regret it. Great on tidal and non-tidal rivers. You can get a decent speed on it, and it’s easy to inflate with the manual pump if you don’t have an electric one. The bag it comes in looks cheap and rubbish but it does the job as long as you aren’t having to carry it far. Watch the weight! It states on the advert that the 10ft can take up to 120kg. I tested it on someone who is 110kg and the board was bowed, they were ankle deep in water, and they weren’t going anywhere but in (and yes, it was pumped up enough). I’m about 66kg and it’s perfect for my weight. I highly recommend if you are starting out or a casual paddler.
As a beginner with not particularly athletic legs I found it easy to stand up on it. The optional double ended paddle is excellent for self rescue if you get tired of standing up. You can carry the extra bits easily in the convenient Bungy straps, usefully for tying on water bottle and stowing seat and extra paddle end when not useing.
I don’t think any. Paddle board is easy to blow up when you get to the last few bars can only get it to 12 out of the 15 recomended, but it floats well and gives your triceps a good work out. I allow at least 15 minutes for blowing up. The valve needs a bit of mastering to get it into upright locked position before you blow it up, if not in correct position all the air rushes out when pump detached. It’s worth getting familiar with that process as blowing the thing up is the worst bit.
I think this product is excellent value for money and I’m really pleased with it.
Good board even though I blew it up to the correct 15 psi I found it dent in the middle which effected the stability of the board also the carrier could do with an upgrade
After trying paddle boarding on holiday with friends, I did a little research and bought this one, it has met all our expectations and will be used at home too on the local river. Felt safe and stable on the board. All the family have used it even had to kick my teenagers off it so I could have a go. Over all the quality is great my only worry is the bag it is transported in (like a large rucksack) the material is thin and looks like it will rip easily but as yet we have been ok.
Great board for beginning out on. Love the colour, the stability and how easy it is to put away and keep everything together. Last 5 psi is hard to inflat, but it’s a good arm workout or cheat like me and get an electric pump. Only flaw is that I wish it was a 4 d ring kayak seat for more support. Loving i
Great SUP board and accessories. Very stable and fun to use. Only criticism is the cheap, loose bag; wouldn’t want to carry the board in that bag very far. Poor bag design compared to most others at similar price point.
Board good and all components worked well. Relatively easy to pump up and good quality. The only negative we had was the quality of the bag. It was very flimsy and too big making it awkward and heavy when carrying any sort of distance
For a first paddle board this is amazing. I’ve had it for 6 weeks and I love it. I have been out on it multiple times a week since having it. I love that it can be a stand up or sit down. I’ve used it in both modes. I cannot say how good the seat is as I haven’t used it. I have used the paddle in both modes though. It was sturdy enough for me to stand on the first outing. It inflates and deflates well. I often use the hand pump although I have used my electric pump too. It fits everything into the bag as the bag is generous in size. I cannot compare to other boards but I am happy with this one.
I am so happy with it I am looking to purchase another one for the kids as they have also enjoyed using it.
First one had a small gap that air was escaping from the seam. We did blow it up and check before but it couldn’t be seen until it used properly In the water. Contacted Amazon and had to arrange the return myself. Service wasn’t very good being told conflicting information. But we received a replacement board and this works well. The board itself and what’s included is great. Just hope it’s lasts.
I spent months reading reviews and more reviews and not daring to choose a SUP in case it wasn’t good enough. Then I decided to simply plump for what Amazon was recommending in the search results and after reading some reviews just went for it.
Today I unboxed it and set it up. I am so happy with it!! The board is beautiful, solid as a rock, massive, stable, and the seat way exceeded my expectations for stability, comfort, and use ability. The footrest is a massive added bonus. All this and such good quality for pretty much the smallest price (I got it for 200 as it was on offer).
Most importantly, the valve is good quality, and inflation is quick and easy.
This is by far my best purchase of 2022. Go get one!
This is an overall great product for the price so you can’t really go wrong.
I have two things to note for this board. I am towards the maximum end of this boards load capacity 107kg and when inflated to 15psi the board flexes alot so of you are heavier then put more air in than recommend as you’ll need it and also if you’re a total novice (thankfully I wasnt) This board might be a little too narrow for you. With the narrower stance you will find it more difficult to maintain balance especially when in rougher water maybe opt for a wider board but overall a brilliant board for its price
Appears to be a well made paddleboard. Fairly difficult to fully inflate. Needs to be pumped up in stages but good for improving your fitness.
My son has this board and his has three fins whereas my new board only has one.
Came with a puncture repair pack, but no adhesive in the pack at all. Not sure if this was missing or not. Strange to have patches and no way of fixing them in place.
The adjusting sleeve on the paddle fell apart the second time I used the board. When I looked, there was very little adhesive holding it in place and the surfaces had not been prepared. The glue could not adhere to the shiny surfaces.
For the cost of the board I would say it is good value for the money, shame about the other minor problems.
I went paddle boarding last year in summer so decided to get a SUP. I looked around from last summer did not want to commit as found this SUP 2020 version and really liked it but not in stock. Could of got it from America but added cost. I have looked at so many. wanted option for kayak as have two children. This comes with everything. I was so glad to find this years model so got it as soon as it was available. It was packed well, mind instructions were not very detailed. After blowing up in house I went to let it down ,there was a Tool with patch which we used. Very effective tool but took whole pumping section out of Board, not recommended. You could see the inside and I was worried we may have damaged it. I would advise to watch videos first before deflate. You just use a button on the inside section where pump would attach. I also worried when blowing it up to 15 psi. It was ok to do but hard on last 5 psi. You think that it can’t take anymore pumping but it does go all the way to 15. Once we got on board it was great. This board gives you more balance as a wider one than I previously went on, but with kids it is ideal. Also more stable by coast. Paddle is great. Board easy for me to carry. Bag fits everything in with wetsuits and bouyancy aids. Great product to have fun with family.
Took the paddleboard out for it’s maiden voyage this weekend on Lake Coniston – perfect day with flat water and hardly any breeze. The Paddleboard comes in a reasonably sturdy backpack – though i did look at my friends backpack for his with envy – but then again his was 3x the price. Single skeg was easy to fit and clipped into place , inflation was a cinch with the included pump and we were up to 15psi in next to no time. Fitted the leash and assembled the collapsible paddle – setting it to 6 inches above my head. At this point i hadn’t even looked at the manual!. On to the water on my knees at first and it was super simple to get the board moving – it just glides across the water – i felt pretty stable , so smoothly stood up and started paddling and enjoying myself – until i had a dunk in freezing cold water a minute later … basically i had forgot all about balance and leant back too far. I quickly got back on the board, being such a stable platform it was a trivial matter – and got back to paddling , this time making sure i looked ahead and not down. By my second go I was a lot more confident and i put it down to the board being great for beginners as other reviewers have mentioned – for the price this is a great board and at 6″ deep is superbly stable for a 10′ board. All in all very impressed and tempted to buy another 🙂
