This is strong & cuts very well. It has worked hard for me this summer & has not failed to work very well for me. It has a good blade protection sleeve too.
First time I’ve had to buy one so means I only have one hedge to cut, I went for the entry level. Too be fair, it made quickish work of it. It did struggle a little with the thicker branches but overall happy enough. In the future, I would probably buy one that’s a little more powerful
This is a relatively cheap machine but it has proved way better that any I have owned before (note, I’ve not owned a Stihl…) Particularly impressive is the cutting blade, which is sturdy and properly hardened, unlike certain other well-advertised brands. It came with a a good length of cable but be aware that mains powered cutters are really only suitable for small gardens with relatively small hedges. I spent a happy two hours this afternoon doing all our hedges and it wasn’t too heavy and the vibration levels were acceptable even to this sufferer from RSI. All in all, highly recommended.
Not too big to manoeuvre, and I have cut through small willow branches up to a finger’s width with no trouble. Electric cable is nice and long.
After careful consideration and reviews I bought the Hyundai hedge trimmer HYHT550E. I cannot compare it to any other make as I have never purchased one before. I am however delighted with its performance after only using twice since I ordered it. Very easy to use, very study and takes the effort away from garden shears and hand held implements, should have purchased it ages ago. Has a 3 year warranty which sealed the deal for me and I would highly recommend it. Being of the older generation and a women if I can use it anyone can. Just brilliant buy it and don’t hesitate.
I used this last summer and autumn and it works very well and is of good quality. I am not a big person but I was able to use it for what I want to do. I am very pleased I purchased it and will be a boon next spring.
