After 1 year of hard work sill working like a charm
Pay attention because there is no graphics integrated, if you buy this CPU you have to buy a graphics card as well.
Trs bon rapport qualit performances prix.
Sam procesor robi swoj robot bardzo dobrze, u mnie pracuje w parze z RTX 3600 Ti Asusa i 32GB RAM 3600 mhz i wszystko to daje rad w Far Cry 5,6, Watchdog Legion, a zaraz i Diablo 4 da rad. Warto bo kosztuje niewiele.
Best price i found was here on Amazon. Arrived the next day safe and sound and was installed a couple of days later when the rest of my new build arrived. No bent pins and installed easily. This was a major upgrade from my old system and i am very pleased with the speed and capabilities of the processor.
I got this at a good price and worked perfect from warehouse stock it’s hit and miss really when using the Amazon warehouse
When it came to looking for a processor my my new build – I wanted a processor that was good for gaming and could also perform well with every day tasks as well as photo and video editing. Eventually, I decided on the 12600k and it’s been great! Handles everything I’ve thrown at it and runs compatibly cool when paired with my NZXT Z63 Kraken!
This is great value and runs modern games when paired with a decent graphic card. Although this one comes unlocked for overclocking I put it in a cheaper motherboard without CPU overclocking so I can’t say how good it was at that.
This CPU is fantastic and handles anything I throw at it. Runs very quiet and does not get hot. In normal circumstances i very rarely notice this CPU going over 5% utilization which is great. Certainly will last a good couple of years.
The chip comes packaged like just about every other CPU. With the CPU inside a small blister pack and the rest of the box occupied by a generic OEM cooler. The CPU is a hexcore with 12 threads. The base clock of 2.9ghz but will boost to 4.3ghz on a single core, or 4ghz on all cores. The F denotes the lack of integrated graphics on the die. Which is perfect for gamers as saves money as they will be using a discrete GPU. Even with the supplied OEM cooler the temps are stable and I didn’t experience any throttling. With a BeQuiet tower cooler I saw lower overall temps. The stock cooler is adequate but a good aftermarket one should allow it to boost for longer. The 10400f doesn’t support overclocking but if you can get a Z490 board on sale you will be able to take advantage of faster DRAM.
I am yet to encounter a CPU bottleneck in gaming but the 10400f has plenty of clock and cores for most gaming scenarios. It’s a great match for my 1660 super but I have no doubt it wouldn’t hold back beefier cards. I’ve also used it for video editing and rendering and large image editing. I can’t say either task has troubled the 10400f. I am sure there are better CPU’s specifically for this task but as an affordable all rounder with a gaming focus it’s great.
If you can get this for ~120 or lower it’s a no-brainer. Especially if you can pair it with a Z series board on sale. However there are newer chips out there and they will inevitably drop in price. But for now this is still a great CPU for the money
Had it for a month now and can confidently say I made the right decision buying this cpu. Great for gaming, haven’t used for editing
Ive not had this for a while however its a great price to performance cpu and handles gaming alot better than my old i7 2600 as this was a needed upgrade and it just is alot faster overall
The delivery on this coming from the US->UK was looking to be over ten days, but it arrived in six, and would in fact have arrived in three but FedEx had some issues. Very happy with the product and the price.
Amazing value for money in purchasing this, as with all tech though, at the time of reviewing this, Intel has already made an even better value product that you could probably look into.
But I got what I paid for and received exactly what I expected to get.
However, I should mention the stock cooler was really easy to install and does its job to cool the cpu down, but can get loud. I’m planning on a new cpu cooler.
Overall, a great processor and not a terrible cooler, was worth the 130 I spent
EDIT: I recently purchased a better cooler, which has helped with keeping my temps down from 80 degrees C plus to less than 60.
I teamed mine with an Aorus Elite AX and a Noctua NH-12S cooler. It performs very well with good DDR4 memory (DDR5 isn’t worth the money for the performance). So far, temps are excellent, around 65C under load and it draws about 120W so not bad. I’d recommend an 800W PSU if teaming this with any RTX 20x or 30x card to give yourself plenty of headroom.
I got it for my gaming gamer rig and it goes fast like vrooom
Value for money 6 core cpu for 120!
Great for my mid range gaming build
Given my new system a boost combining with 16 gb ddr4 and a rtx 2080 super I can play lot of games in 4 k with ray tracing and maximum graphics, altho at around 30 to 35 fps.. works for me
Great intel i5 10400f good for gaming very good clock speed up to 4.6ghz runs very stable and no overclocking settings the cpu gaming smooth frame rates upto 167 fps and higher at 1080p with games on high to ultra settings, i5 10400f 6 cores the Best low Price CPU to buy.
works well for my pc. The problem is that the cpu fan is very loud. Probably could be solved by buying a new fa
Very good processor and very fast compared to what I had before
Almost twice as fast as my other PC whic was built only 3 years ago ……
It is a quite good CPU and amazing in performance for price. Quick delivery, all good.
1. At this current time the i5 10400f is going for 130 a great price for a 6 core CPU
2.The AMD side however is being sold for 190 and a 60 difference is a lot for someone like me going with a tight budget.
3.The i5 10400f has excellent gaming performance and I’m building my PC mainly for gaming so this was the right choice.
This CPU paired with a cheaper b460m motherboard are a perfect match for a budget gaming PC.
I would 100% recommend to all you gamers on a tight budget, 5 Stars!!!
overall good proccessor but the stock cooler is a bit loud
Great value for money CPU. Won’t need an upgrade for a few years
Works great, better fps than 5 3600. came weeks earlier than expected.
the stock fan is a little loud but works well to keep it cool.
Arived ahead of schedule! Very happy with the product and the way it was delivered
