I love it. Some say it is a bit thin on the bass front, but I think it is good. I guess it is all about positioning. You could have top shelf Bowers or Monitor Audios and they could sound rubbish due to room acoustics. But this does well in my lounge. I use it almost everyday. Very happy with my purchase.

Everything is good, but the only challenge for me is that it’s a bit big and to carry it around it’s not okay for me .I only use it at home and it’s performance is so so good …So I got the flip6 for mobility and portabilty reasons….

I’ve been wanting this speaker for a while but couldn’t afford it at full price. Luckily I managed to get it discounted.
I have been using it for like 2 weeks now, and can’t fault it! The sound quality is so pure and powerful. Simple to use and the app is also great for software updates and equalizer. I honestly can’t recommend it enough!

Great speaker to use if you are taking it out places with great sound quality, does run out of battery quicker if you are on a high volume however it’s a quality product to take around with you if you cannot afford or do not want a non portable jbl partybox for example.

Was not looking to buy another speaker, then black Friday collided with vodka and found myself looking at this I couldn’t resist for 250,had it for about a week, only used it about 3 times for a couple hours at a time, have not recharged it yet since first bought it, but as for sound, it’s supurb and the base is superb.. Love this speaker, the sound quality is great and it’s brilliant to have a speaker you can use outside without having to worry too much about moisture in the evening air or diving to cover it if it starts raining. Comparable to my Bose SoundTouch with the added benefit of being battery powered.

I have wanted one of these for 2 years after hearing one in use, so when these appeared on offer I had to have one.
The sound quality is excellent and the bass is booming. Battery is long lasting.
Make sure when it arrives to download the app and update the software, you’ll then have a graphic equaliser in the app to fine tune the sound to your taste. Enjoy!

Like:
Sound quality is very good if flat see EQ you can tailor it to your taste, Bluetooth is solid only SBC though.
App is good and the graphic EQ is effective for tone shaping, Battery life is astounding 25h at 40% = 80dba
Dislike:
Erm…. It’s heavy!?!. Expensive…. Worth every penny!?….

U can feel the bass, good connnection, good battery life. To charge this speaker you need 24v , 5A.(charger ac included). When you plug in the charger it is a bit louder then battery. Personal i bought a dc step up inverter from 12v to 24v so i can charge also on my car.
I RECOMMEND 100%.

JBL Boombox 2 is an amazing Bluetooth speaker delivering deep bass, crisp highs and mids .A bit pricey but if you want the best it comes with a high price tag.

An absolute beast in sound quality, the bass is something you have to experience to believe.
I am 56 and have some pretty decent speakers and sound systems in my time but this is just another level, love the fact I can sync more than one speaker to get stereo, if your after a party this is definetly the way to go, and easily mobile so take it where you want, beach, another person’s house, bbq, pool, in the pool. It’s nuts.

Sound quality is amazing best I’ve ever heard from a speaker of this size, however it seems like the bass stops getting louder as you pass 80% volume, the Highs and mids keep getting louder all the way to 100 but the bass doesn’t. Not a massive problem as it’s plenty loud enough at 80% but the high can seem slightly over saturated at 100%. Battery lasts around 6 hours at 100% volume the listed 24 hours is meant for 50% volume.

Well, it’s JBL. Wicked sound, only a bit of compression kicking in at the higher range of volume, but good for the size. Only caveat is that eye watering price, it could be a bit cheaper for what is merely a ghettoblaster!

I used this speaker in an outdoor 48 foot marquee and it was awesome. OMG!! Admittedly it’s a seems a bit pricey, but it’s worth every penny.

Got this for my 18 yo son – he loves it. Sound quality is superb and easy to pair with iphone etc for streamed music. Pretty heavy piece of kit but sounds great and looks really cool!

It’s honestly been the best speaker I’ve bought, used for beach parties and all kinds of gatherings! Sound quality is epic and I rarely have it on full volume as its so loud, on full volume the battery lasted about 6 hours of constant play, on low volume its lasted me a few days

I’ve had many smaller JBL Bluetooth speakers in the past, ranging from the 1st ever Flip to the Charge 2, and a couple of Micro Wireless’s for the kids. Throughout I have never been disappointed with the build and sound quality from JBL.
Wanting a step up for some better outdoor sound I opted for this and I’m once again very pleased with what JBL have made here. Perfect for my circumstances.
