Being a bus/coach driver it’s come in very handy when you want to listen to music when you’re on break or driving. Bonus that you can plug your usb in and charge what you like. Definitely a great produc
This is actually the 2nd I’ve bought. Bought the 1st for outdoor dancing events. Occasionally if someone else had a JBL speaker we would pair them and I loved the difference, it already sounds amazing just on it’s own. Got a new computer setup so needed speakers, decided on a 2nd JBL Charge 5. Can now enjoy home cinema experience (have a projector) or great sound outdoors.
Took me ages to decide on this speaker.. so many choices out there. I initially was thinking something bigger like the Xtreme 3.. also toyed with the much hyped X600. I predominantly wanted to use this on my desk whilst working at home.. SO glad I chose this.. the sound is awesome, even on low, i like everything from classical, country, electronic and have found it all works really well. Its a lovely size to be just convenient and the sound is awesome ! Really happy with this.. I might at some point add a second one to try for a wider stereo feel.. no brainer.. get this one !

The sound is amazing for the size, full bass and well balanced mid and treble. I use it for Amazon HD and Spotify Premium and its absolutely great
I have a reasonable sized garden and it’s more than loud enough (even my neighbour commented on the sound quality )
The battery lasts for ages. I haven’t timed it, but I rarely charge it and use it daily. Now I listen to my music at a fairly low level, so if you are partying and have it loud, it may last less time. But you’ll definitely be happy with how long it lasts. Charging time is reasonable as well which is a bonus.
Bluetooth connection to my Samsung Note 10 and Fire tablet is quick and has honestly never dropped. I’ve actually gone into my house while the speaker is in the garden and still hear it playing flawlessly.
It is definitely more than worth the money, and I have stopped using my other Bluetooth speakers as its just so useful and great sounding.
I did pair it with a friend’s Charge 5 for stereo and it was awesome. So now I have to decide if I can justify another to get the stereo going in my garden lol

Can only charge the speaker via USB-C but charging from the speaker to an external device has to be done via the old USB-A.
Nunca haba tenido un altavoz de calidad y la verdad es que se nota y mucho, gran potencia y sonido increible, muy contento con la compra. Lo recomiendo.

Mi fermo a quattro stelle per l’estetica che non mi fa impazzire, ma sono gusti personali.
Per tutto il resto direi eccellente prodotto.
Toni alti, bassi e medi regolabili tramite l’app che indica anche il livello della batteria, peccato non sia possibile anche spegnerlo.
L’autonomia rispetta quanto descritto, ovvero circa 20 ore di riproduzione dopo il primo ciclo di ricarica.
Nel video postato il volume al 50%.
Enceinte sans surprise elle est vraiment puissante. Pour viter la saturation monter le volume sur l’enceinte et non sur tlphone. J’en ai dj une autre que l’on peux jumeller ensemble. De plus blanche trop classe Gilles 70.

Die Charge5 macht anstndig Lrm. Bei Bedarf. Und der Bass fllt auch mal mehr als einen Raum. man sollte aber wissen das konstruktionsbedingt der Bass mehr wird je lauter man die Musik hrt. Bei leiser Musik ist er also etwas schwacher.
It charges using a USB C connector and a USB C-A cable is included, which is handy if you’ve got chargers lying around for your phone/tablet/laptop. It doesn’t come with a separate charger. There is a charge indicator so you can see how it’s getting along.
There is an app that you can download – JBL Portable. I’ve tried the Android version only. The Charge 5 speaker is astounding and does not need this app to function. The app gives you a 3 point equaliser (bass/mid/treble) and a vague battery indication. It also has the PartyBoost feature which you can use to group 2 or more JBL speakers. The app works well, can be used to update your speaker’s firmware, and seems stable. However, unless you want to use one of these features it’s superfluous.
Overall an impressive speaker especially for it’s size and price. I am enjoying listening to it.
This speaker is very good in design and has very good bass. The sound quality is very good and it is very loud. I am happy with the speaker. Worth the money.

1. Sound – The sound quality of this speaker is extraordinary compared to its size. The sound is crystal clear at the highest volume, and the speaker performs well in delivering mids and highs. JBL signature Bass is the USP of this company, and this product is not an exception. However, it would be foolish (and unreasonable) to expect a home theatre experience from this product. It has a 30W speaker compared to more than 60W speakers of a typical home theatre system.
2. Battery – It delivers what JBL claims in its advertisement. The battery easily lasts for 20 hours when the speaker is used at 50% volume (loud enough to shake a small-sized room). Even at higher volumes of 80-90%, the speaker lasted more than 14 hours during my test use.
3. Build Quality – The speaker weighs around 1 kg and has a solid build quality. It feels sturdy and premium and has got a very good quality finish.
4. Power Bank – This speaker can be used as a power bank to charge your device in need. A handy option if you are in dire need of fuel for your phone (obviously when you are travelling).
5. Other features – Add-ons like water resistance and dust resistance seem to work based on my current usage with this product.
Cons – The only downside of this product is not being able to produce stereo sound when multiple JBL speakers are connected. It delivers mono sound (which is fine as the company doesn’t advertise this product as stereo sound speakers. The difference between a stereo and a mono sound is that stereo audio is capable of producing the perception of sounds coming from different directions, whereas mono audio can not produce this effect.
Overall Review – This is a great product for those who like to party on the go. It’s highly portable, has got great battery life, build quality and brilliant sound with JBL signature Bass. I am certain nobody is going to regret buying this product.
Bought for one of my granddaughters for Xmas 2022 and she loves it. Easy to set up and use and very good sound quality.
Le positionnement de l’enceinte, en face, en hauteur etc….le support sur laquelle elle sera pose, la distance d’coute, influenceront beaucoup la qualit du son peru.
Il lui faut un gentil rodage pour que tout ce qui vibre dabs cette petite canette de musique prenne sa place.
Je suis heureuse que JBL nous autorise “un peu” paramtrer cette enceinte via un galiseur “maison” extrmement basique dans son application qui par ailleurs n’apporte rien de palpitant mais c’est au moins a.
On regrette bien sr et on ne comprend pas pourquoi les choses trs utiles la qualit sonore, comme une connexion Jack soit dsormais absente de la plupart des appareils pourtant destins l’coute de musique…
Pour l’autonomie elle me semble dans la moyenne et je n’ai rien lui reprocher.
Au final et avec quelques paramtrages sur l’galiseur en fonction de ce que j’coute, je trouve excellent le son pour cette enceinte mme en mono.
El diseo es muy bonito robusto con buenos detalles en acabados, materiales de calidad al tacto. El sonido est bien aunque debo decir que tiene mucho agudo por lo que quizs tendrs que ecualizar este apartado en la app, lo cual es sumamente fcil. La batera est bastante bien. La portabilidad sigue siendo muy buena al igual que sera en un flip o pulse … La resistncia al agua est garantizada con si ip67… Yo en lo personal lo uso en la playa y para encuchar pelculas en casa, a pesar de no ser estreo est bastante bien. 100% satisfecho con calidad precio actual

Can still put it in a suitcase if you want to Take it with you on Holocaustului , though it’s a bit big to Carry in your hand but it dependens what you want from it.
heavy well made item. awesome deep rich sound but balanced accross the range. high price but worth it. Best bluetooth speaker I have along with jbl flip 5 which is also amazing but sound not quite a deep big and bold as charge 5 but great alternative if you want to spend less. very happy with buy
