Really good sound from a small unit. I have listened to reggae where the bass comes out really well, through to blues, rock and pop. All sound really good with good clarity and volume. I definitely recommend this speaker.
Small but powerful, I use for driving as drive ling distance and the radio doesn’t work. Play my own music for hours if I want to and it’s got quality sound.
I use this speaker for music lessons and also for personal use and it is a really great product am planning on buying another one to use with the party mode, well made product.
It’s incredible how good the sound quality of this speaker is. At low to medium volumes if you clised your eyes you’d never guess you were listening on something so small.
Could not recommend this product enough the sound quality is fantastic it goes up loud and the bass is great. Have had many people ask what speaker I have when they hear me playing music, very happy with the quality and I’m a music nerd!

It’s not often that I’m motivated to write a review on a product, but this is an exception. Someone at JBL has really thought about the design of this speaker. The sound quality is amazing and it’s super easy to set up unlike many Bluetooth items I have purchased in the past. My go to test is to play Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits. The mix of treble and bass is so good and if you want to crank it up it’s really powerful for such a small speaker.

Once you get the jbl portable app you can mess about with the equalizer as well.

I tried the cheaper Anker speakers around the same sort of prices and promises, but this is far superior and I had issues with the Anker sound which they could never resolve with the updates which should have been addressed, and I don’t use them anymore. Glad I bought this, and it just grabbed me visually more so than the similar Bose.
No speaker this small should sound this good. It is impressive, truly. It does a good job with all types of music. I will get another one and try the stereo feature. Everyone at JBL should be proud of this product.
Heard really good things about these JBL speakers, decided to try it out myself and the reviews are true. Very good sound quality for the price and the battery life lasts long.
Two things yoy want in a portable wireless speaker. Sound and charge. Has both in abundance. Really like it. Easy setup and connection, plenty of bass, good mid and treble, simple controls and fantastic battery on it. Really good value and really well made.
I bought this to replace my old Flip4 (still works but battery life down). This sounds even better and can be adjusted with the App. Battery life is excellent. I have other more expensive brands but IMHO this beats them all at a fraction of the price.
Bought JBL Flip 6 @ bargain price of 65.00 (only on the white model) and it really is a great speaker. Twinned with another I already had – so simple & great sound. Excellent product.
This thing blows me away ,it’s amazing for something the size of a beer can ,seriously impressed with how much bass it kicks out ,OK it’s not going to replace your stereo system ,but for something you can put in your cargo pants pocket it’s incredible ,not cheap to be fair but I got a good deal at 75 quid ,I got white which looks cool but not sure how good it will look in a years time ,the carry strap is handy if there’s no where flat to set it down ,oh and the graphic eq on the app works well nothing fancy but just enough to get a better sound from what you are listening too, three band so basic but effective ,would love to get another to see what they sound like in stereo.
I’m normally a Bose or bang and olufson fan but I had seen excellent reviews for these portable speakers
I have to say the sound is pretty decent and more appealing because of the price point. I ended up buying another when my portable Bose stopped holding charge

The letters JBL on the front of the speaker are huge. I don’t like the way they put blatant advertising on the front. I got the white version of the speaker and the JBL letters are bordered in orange, which makes them stand out even more.
I bought one to carry around the house to play some music on the background. I am astonished how good the sound quality is. How on earth they managed to make such a tiny small thing to sound so rich? The battery life is really good. It keeps playing all the 12 hours. I presume this is because I don’t blast it in full power. Luckily I am not deaf, hence I don’t need to crank it up to the max.
I love this product so much. The sound quality is absolutely impeccable. It’s that good. I’ve just bought a smaller version for my mum who is hard of hearing and since purchasing this for her she has really enjoyed listening to her radio as the sound and voices are much clearer for her. I would recommend the speakers 100% and give them five stars.
I don’t usually bother to review stuff but, wow! Incredible! I bought it based on the What HiFi review. Quite how this thing the size of a wrap makes this sound is amazing. It can fill a room with controlled bass and great detail. Don’t waste money on cheap wireless/Bluetooth speakers just buy the best and buy once., If you are prepared to wait a couple of weeks you can get one for 75 but at 99 it’s still great value.
I don’t write many reviews,however this speaker is worth the mention. Great sound,volume is pretty loud & even on full it’s perfectly clear. Seems to keep its charge too. Light & handy enough to carry around so can literally take it anywhere. Was bought as a present for my son. He loves his music & is impressed. The price was great too as this item cost alot more in the main stores.
I bought these Bluetooth speakers and am very impressed with them. I am a huge fan of JBL and these are not the first speakers I bought from them. However, the last mini speakers (JBL Go) I bought for my daughter disappointed me a little bit, so I was very curious about these ones. These do not disappoint: light, beautiful, clear sound and amazing battery life. Haven’t quite understood the app and why do I need it. Other than that, amazing purchase!
The most disappointing thing is the battery life, they say up to 12 hrs, but on 3/4 volume I’m not getting half of this.
You may get 12 hrs if max volume is 1/4 that’s loud enough in a quite small room, (going to sleep)
I’m using this in a small home machine shop so I need to over power my machines noise at 80-83DB and 3/4 volume does this nicely.
Luckily you can still listen to music on the charge, so I had a power bank hooked up so it never went flat on me.

I had the Anker soundcore boost 2 before this and while I loved the bass up feature, the sound can become a bit muffled at mid to high volumes.
The JBL flip 6 has both great sound clarity and a good bass. It feels solidly built but not too heavy and the design is ergonomic.
So far, the battery is lasting all day at low to mid volumes, which is really good. I only had to charge it every couple of days.
Price wise, it’s a more expensive than similar sized Bluetooth speakers but not the most expensive in the range.
I prefer the boxy/rectangular shaped speakers but I can’t fault the sound clarity of the flip 6.
I’d recommend it if you don’t mind the price.
The sound from this speaker is way better than you would expect. It’s great being used outside, even better in a room. It is LOUD with really clear sound.
Great size considering the quality of sound and volume it provides. This is my second one of these in the house. Far more reliable than others I’ve tried.

Bass and Sound is good but it just dies out faster when put on full volume
I was disappointed you cant use equaliser in stereo mode.
I upgraded from a lower to mid range speaker and the difference in sound quality is like night and day, amazing how it can be so good considering its size Not tried it outside yet as it’s the middle of winter. Well recommended.

Durable, well balance, prenium finish(way nicer feel than the flip 5), sound quality as expected from JBL and a well rounded speaker overall.if you are looking for a portable, powerful and trust worthy speaker, this is the one to go for.
The sound quality as always with JBL products is great. The speaker gets loud, has tons of base but doesn’t sacrifice on clarity and separation in your music. It handles all genres beautifully.
Charging is quick and a breeze with the included USB-C cable and the battery lasts for up to 12 hours which is fantastic.
I use this speaker at home all around the house (including the bathroom; waterproof!) and at work when working away and it performs incredibly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this speaker over other similarly priced units.
What a cracking little unit, so easy to use, the blue tooth pairs seamlessly to other devices, and, its VERY loud – love it!

Really good quality sound, and surprisingly loud for small speakers. Love the fact you can get stereo if you have two speakers. Would be even better if you could control the balance and tone from the app, but it is the best sound from wireless speakers I have come across yet. Would highly recommend.
This is a really good portable speaker, it can be as loud as you want it to be, the battery life is brilliant, the clarity is perfect, you might want to buy 2 if you have teenagers in the household all wanting to take it at the same time when they are going to different places though, it will prevent arguments, lol!
Five stars for me. I know we are all different when it comes to sound quality. But the JBL 6 ticks all my audio boxes and it didn’t cost the earth.
I use mine for work & out on my paddle board. It’s been in the water a few times but still works great. Blue tooth could have a little better range but still decent and battery life is decent. Top little speaker with great sound quality.

None of that applies to the JBL. You press one button. It switches on. A “ta-da-da” sort of muted sound lets you know that. There is no useless spoken message. A few seconds later another similar sound tells you your device is connected. All you need to do then is press “play”. It has never failed a connection; adding a device is straightforward and easy, with a minimum if steps.
Sound quality is excellent, with a sense of space and strength which seem magic for such a compact device. Even at low volume it never sounds tinny or puny. You can turn the sound up or down either from your device or using buttons on the speaker. The bass is reach and creamy, but detail is rendered accurately and at all volume levels.
Battery life seems endless. A linear white light indicates the battery status. I have never got even close to draining it, even after days of usage. It recharges fast thru the supplied usb cable. It is sturdy, well built and has a nice cylinder shape that sits well in your hand.
In summary, this is all I was hoping it to be; I have gifted one to my brother and I have bought a second one (a smaller model) from JBL, so pleased with it I’ve been. I cannot recommend it highly enough and I genuinely can’t come up with any criticism.
