Lovely little doll , my daughter loves her. Dummy not as magnetic as another reborn doll, so be careful not to lose it. But that is my only complaint. Baby doll has settled well into new home
Could not believe how beautiful and life like this doll was. My granddaughter is going to love it as it’s one of her christmas presents.
To be honest I was wary of ordering the reborn doll I’d spent a week looking online for one for a Xmas present and every where I looked they seemed to be a scam so I was pleasantly surprised how nice the doll is especially for the price. I was impressed especially with the face and hair. It is true to the picture on here. Thanks
my daughter saw this on here and fell in love with her! she comes with a mini blanket and pillow, bottle,dummy, carrier and the baby with her hairband. Really good value for money. shes good quality and perfect size for a kid to hold. Definitely recommend
The weighr of the doll is realistic to a baby
This doll is uncanny; it appears to be a genuine infant at first glance. Further analysis reveals that it appears to be genuine. People have done double takes at the doll even while I’ve been out with my daughter.
The vinyl arms, legs, and head are attached to a soft body. Their hair can also be styled.
Despite the fact that it is a little pricey, you can clearly tell the difference between this doll and others.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this JIZHI Reborn baby doll. It’s meant to look and feel like a newborn baby.
I have mixed feelings about the doll. There are things I like and a few I don’t.
Firstly, the outer packaging is attractive , the doll is wrapped in tissue paper and attached to the inside of the box by ribbon tied around the neck and tummy .
Once I’d removed the doll from the box , I thought how light it felt. It’s not very heavy at all . The body is fabric and seems to be well stitched. There were no loose threads .it has a soft centre, so the baby is quite pliable for cuddling.
The arms and legs are molded in a bent position. You can’t move the joints but they are movable from the arm and leg sockets on the body. In this way, you can put the baby in different positions.
The baby’s face on first glance I found weird looking , with it’s pursed lips . It’s grown on me the more I look at it though. The hair is very soft touch, it does feel realistic, although you can see the holes where it’s been Implanted if you look closely enough .
I’m not overkeen on the outfit the doll comes in. I don’t find the dull brown a very appealing colour , I’d have to change the clothes for something more attractive and brightly coloured.
There are a few accessories suppliied with the babydoll. The dummy is magnetic so it attaches to the mouth easily .
It’s a good quality product overall and the price is pretty average for this sort of doll. I wouldn’t personally pay 69.99 for a doll , but children seem to like it so they’re the best judges.
This is a typical reborn doll, I’m not going to lie it’s initially quite creepy to look at but as you handle it more it becomes less creepy. My niece has a couple of these already so I have a little background knowledge on these and know that to some people they can mean a lot. The doll arrives in a beautiful pink box so it’s very giftable and it’s a good quality doll. It’s sleeping pose is serene and after a while I really warmed to this doll. It’s a good size, nice and soft and the attention to detail has been done very well. I like the outfit the doll arrives in and it really is very lifelike! My niece has enjoyed playing with it and it does come with a couple of accessories (dummy and bottle) and also a birth certificate. The hair is lifelike and brushable which my niece enjoys doing and it looks nice when in the play pushchair she has. It’s a good size, quite lightweight and the arms and legs move around ok. I think the value for money is ok but it could be a bit cheaper for what it is, I think more than anything you are buying the brand name rather than the doll. It’s quite light and the design is typical of reborn and it’s decent to play with for a child.
The first thing I should say is that this doll is going to be great for the right person. A child looking for a really lifelike doll or an adult collector is going to love it. However, there will be some who find these dolls a little creepy and unsettling because of how life-life they are.
The doll comes in a pretty pink box. The box is large and neither too adult or child looking and so will make a great presentation box if you’re giving this doll as a gift. You can also easily store the doll inside the box when you’re not playing with or displaying him/her.
The doll I got ‘Apricot’ has a somewhat sad face with messy mid-length hair. It really is quite amazing how real the skin and hair looks on these dolls. All the little details make it feel very real and almost alive. Even touching the hair it doesn’t feel too obviously fake; although the skin is clearly rubber once you touch it. The doll has her eyes permanently closed, which is a bit of a shame as it somewhat limits the games children can play with it. However, my guess is that this is to keep the realism of the doll as it would be very difficult to make life-like eyes.
The clothes Apricot has on are very traditional. Almost Victorian looking. They are nice enough quality and well suited if that’s the look/style you are going for. It will be easy, however, to change Apricot’s clothing for something more modern should you wish – she is proportioned as a real baby and so most clothes should fit.
There’s a bit of movement to Apricot’s body. Limbs move a little and so she doesn’t look too ‘rigid’ when she is being carried or moved around. Almost everyone has commented how they felt she was real when they’ve first caught a glace of her.
Inside the box, in addition to the doll, is a birth certificate and a few accessories. These accessories are a little generic and plasticky – they include a dummy, bottle, comb, and bowl with fork and spoon. They also don’t really fit with Apricots very traditional clothing in that they’re bright and modern looking. That said, they are very much ‘extras’ with the doll being the star of the show and reason you’re going to pick this up, so it’s hard to complain too much.
Overall, this is a really amazing toy that is so realistic it may be a little scary for some. However, if this is what your child likes or what you as a collector are looking for then the quality and effect is pretty remarkable and I’ve not seen anything as good for near the price on the high-street.
This is an incredibly realistic and lifelike doll that looks like a new born baby but with a lot more hair.
They are, at first appearance rather strange and spooky doll as the eyes do not open and they look like they are sleeping. The arms and legs are a quite rigid plastic.
This doll is beautifully dressed and came well packaged.
She does not move or talk, the legs and arms do not straighten. She is a sleeping doll with a soft cloth body.
The bottle and pacifier are not as good quality as the doll which is a real shame.
The magnetic dummy is a great success
If you want to dress her in more clothes the recommendation is that 0-3 month baby clothes will fit her.
The doll comes with a birth certificate to fill in and currently the doll is called Victoria Sponge. The eleven year old had a lot of fun naming her.
The doll is being used with the five year old who hates going to bed as her night companion. We put the doll in bed with her and go shush, shut your eyes like Victoria. So far it seems to be working.
Because of the price and the very plastic accessories I have knocked off two stars.
The also include some accessories for playing. When you hold the baby is has a bit of weight on, but not as much as a real newborn. This can make it easier for children to carry and play with.
Obviously this isn’t as realistic or detailed as some very expensive ones out there but it’s definitely great for the price and good value.
This is a cute reborn doll. She’s asleep and has a bit of a grumpy pout on her face; like she’s having a funny dream. Her cheeks are also rosy red, making it look like she may be teething.
Girvolina, as I’ve called her, looks quite life-like in her face. I always think it’s a shame that the body is only material on these, rather than being shaped more, but when they’re dressed, it’s not visible.
She comes with a bag of accessories and a drinking bottle and iss presented in a colourful box.
I’ve only dropped 1 star due to the clothes that she is in looking a little dull compared with how they appeared on Amazon. Of course, you can change these, but something a little more colourful would have looked better, in my opinion.
Overal, Girvolina looks cute and will be the pride and joy of her new parents.
