This is a very small pressure washer but perfect for our requirement of occasional use. You can wash the car and blast a bit of dirt off the patio and then pack it away in a small space in the shed. It’s noisy but then most pressure washers are – it’s also not the most powerful washer I’ve ever used but still packs a punch for its relative size. Overall it’s a good buy if you want an occasional-use pressure washer and don’t have much storage space.
It took me a few weeks to use it as there is an extra part to order so that it works. This is really a negativ point as they do not inform when we buy the karcher home compact.
Anyway I order that water connexion pipe at extra cost and I could connect by myself.
I have been impressed how my external outdoor natural stone has been cleaned and became as new a year ago when installed. Really impressed.
I also did on low pressure my conservatory glasses. Very happy. I strongly recommend that Karcher.
I give 4 stars only because it arrives incomplete and you need to buy a part separately so it works. It is not fair

This machine is very light and easy to move around my garden.The pressure from this machine is very good and i have had no problems cleaning my car or my concrete slabs. As i already had a snow foam bottle from my previous Karcher,i was very pleased to note that this bottle fitted my new Karcher perfectly.I have no complaints about this machine,it’s light,easy to move around,has plenty of pressure for all of my needs and was a great price.If your looking for a good priced pressure washer i can recommend this one no problem.
Don’t be fooled by the size, this product delivers everything you need. Clearing gutters, washing patios and car cleaning are so much easier now. New projects just keep appearing, next one is a full overhaul of the barbecue.
Nice jet wash overall. Doesn’t take much space.
I just think extra parts are way too expensive such as patio cleaner. Also, the back chemical pipe is short and therefore difficult to use
But saying that they are still a very good pressure washer, I will be buying a longer hose not sure if to get an extension or simply buy a longer hose which would work out cheaper.
Used with spray foam attachment worked great. Handle/gun on unit not as strong as older model.
Karcher need to up their game if feels like a 49.99 product however it’s doing the job only time will tell
Why make it so flimsy with the price it should be more rugged
Bought this pressure washer to clean my terrace which had over 18 months of grime. It took it off easily and was very easy to set up. Has transformed my outside space.
This is much better than my previous K5 which gave up working. I use it mostly for cleaning my car and it does a good job with a snow cannon. I don’t change the settings much on the vario lance it’s normally just full power. Wish I had this model before my K5
So far I’ve used for patio and walls and it’s excellent. Bit cumbersome to pull around as a bit heavy but it is a well made machine!! tubes and wire can get a bit tangled if your using in large area back and forth, but a small price to pay for such and excellent job
Doesn’t take up much space. High pressure hose easily unclips for storage. Hose just a bit stiff to wind as good as it shows in the picture. Nice the way the lances stack in the back and if you search you can even find a new hose to old tool adaptor to save buying another flag cleaning tool.
This is the third pressure washer I’ve bought, this one beats the other two hands down. As you know I’m an invalid and it has taken me four days to clean all my concrete, working between one hour and one and a half. I hadn’t cleaned it for three years and it was very black, now it looks very good.
The description is wrong for this version of the K4 but this didnt bother me after extensive Googling. This is the same high end Karcher K4 but this is a compact UM version.

Fantastic little pressure washer, really impressed. Wanted to keep garden patio clean as have multiple dogs as well as birds. This could handle everything and even made the concrete look almost brand new after getting up all the moss. Absolutely love it!
We’ve had a K2 before, but this unit is much nicer (and smaller) yet more powerful.
The finish of the unit, and the accessories, ooze quality too.
I like the trigger gun.
It is easy to pull around with the clip on wheels, pull up handle, and we have it locked into our hose pipe with a hose lock adapter.
What more to say? It’s still a karcher. The hose and other bits are universal across all models.

Having owned the rather bulky Krcher K7 Premium for a few years now, it’s a relief to have a smaller, lighter pressure washer that can be up and running in no time.
This little devil is ideal for jobs like car washing or a quick blast for the bird bath or patio furniture, it’s extremely light and easy to carry around that you won’t even need to use the wheels.
The lance is plug and play, straightforward with no complications or ‘pairing’ required, and the 6 m high pressure hose is sufficient enough to clean substantial areas without needing to move the unit.
Storage is the favourite part for me, as it’s feather light, and compact in size, it can sit on a shelf without needing to be on the floor like the monster K7.
It’s powerful enough to do small/medium jobs without straining the motor. It’s ideal for anyone with average size patio that’s kept reasonably clean. If you’re looking for a ‘Once a year’ cleaning job, you might want to consider the larger, more powerful units that can cope with such jobs however.
Overall: At 199.99 at the time of reviewing, it’s not the cheapest for its category in the market, but it’s definitely more superior and powerful than alternatives, and will put a smile on your face every time you use it. Would definitely recommend.
Understandably the K4 compact comes with less than the K4 home just with a vario-lance and dirt blaster lance but you can add more accessories which the Karcher app which will tell you your set up for cleaning and also offer suggestions of the ideal clean which will helpfully add things to you basket to purchase from Karcher. Because this is the compact version it doesn’t suffer from the little niggles of the bigger K4 because it doesn’t have the hole for the hose to coil round the back or the space to store the electrical cord which keeps this model much simpler. I can’t say I noticed any difference in cleaning ability so really this comes down to how much you want to pay and how much space you have to store the washer.
This NEW K4, has a single, central support for the handle which does lock open, YEY ! See my photo’s note the neat storage solution for the tools. The photo on the illustration is an older model.
The washer itself is the sort of quality expected from Karcher, its compact size makes for easy manoeuvrability and the tool carrier keeps them clean and tidy. Enough power (its MPa is 1.2) 1.8 kW motor for cleaning car or machines, soft and hard settings are available on the lance, or just the jet on the other lance. There is also a tube to suck up and combine the various additives available for different jobs. It is also good for patio cleaning though the bigger machines are better for the larger jobs, but Karcher make those too, right up to the marvellous K7.
Register your purchase for free product repair during the warranty period of two years, so hang on to a receipt, you will need it if you make a claim.
I think Karcher is probably the best available pressure washer, with a huge choice of models and accessories, so I can’t help myself – it’s got to have five stars.

Small and lightweight compared to my other Karcher K5. This is half the weight and takes up less space and is easily manoeuvrable. Great for paths and cars which is all I use a power washer for. Assembly is straight forward because there isn’t too much to do. Karchers aren’t cheap but they are quality. I had a cheaper model (Vax) before my last Karcher and the motor burned out on its third outing.
Great little pressure washer, very easy to put together, just make sure you push the hose into the handle well, i love the compact size when storing, all the tools have a place onboard when not in use inc the hose meaning it stores away nice and tidy, the only thing missing was somewhere for the power cord but i just wrapped it round the handle, problem solved. It did a great job easily on my patio flags that had gone green over winter. When the washer arrived it was very well packaged and has the usual high quality graphics on the box from Karcher.
The unit is really straight forward to put together with no real technical expertise required. Once i connected it together i found that my hose connected simply too and for the first time use i wanted to wash my car so i used the soap dispenser tube that i pulled out and put in a warm soapy bucket with detergent, which then flowed into the stream of water during use and cleaned my car with soapy water. To stop the soap i simply took the tube out of the bucket and normal water washed off the soap.
One of the things that i first thought about on reviewing this unit is just how light it is compared to other units and i think this will appeal to people who cannot use heavier washers. One of the other things i like is how the cable stores away. My existing large model is more awkward (it’s an old one) so the way you wrap this up is really handy plus because of it’s size it just stores away easily.
Now i wouldn’t say to use this on really large, heavy jobs – you obviously need a larger unit for that, however for cleaning paths and washing cars etc i thing this is great.
