Great to find a wide fitting walking show. lightweight but sturdy. walked 12 miles in them and no blisters – time will tell when feet get hot in the summer!
Liked the comfortable fit and did not need to wear them in first. Only negative comment is that they feel a little heavy
These are my first pair of Keens and have been comfortable from the start. I can’t fault them
Love these shoes , comfortable from first wear and well made.
Hoping to do many miles in them
These are my replacement Keens. My other pair lasted 3 years and I do a lot of walking . Great service too . Arrive quickly and on time
I have pasty feet which make getting the right work shoes difficult
These shoes are a dream. Supportive comfortable and look good too
No regrets
A solid and robust walking shoe. Not the most glamorous however does what I wanted them to, which is keep my feet secure, dry and warm.
Little on the large side which is a first for someone with wide feet, nice thick pair of socks works a treat.
Very excited to find walking shoes that are a perfect fit. I generally struggle a little as my feet are fairly wide and my small toe generally suffers. These shoes fit so well I get excited to go out for a walk.
Wonderful fitting shoe so comfortable, feel as if I could walk all day in them
These shoes are amazing! so comfortable. i bought them by a mistake in 4/37. I have 6/39. But they are fits absolutely perfect! SUPER!!!!!!!
Very comfortable and a good fit with a roomy toe box- No need to size up like other walking shoe brands.
They are a good wide comfortable fit. A bit on the heavy side but grip is good. Used for 2 days of coastal
Path walks. Not tested for waterproofing as it didn’t rain. Hopefully will give good service.
Good value, comfort and support but came up too large.
Very happy with these shoes. I always struggle to get shoes that don’t pinch my wide feet. I ordered my normal size 5 and the fit was great. Rounded toe on the shoe helps. The shoes would suit anyone needing extra width, just pull the laces tighter to suit your fit.
As an additional review, I’ve just returned from a trip to Peru and these shoes other when I was in bed were permanently on my feet. Also a few days before going on holiday I broke my little toe. These shoes were brilliant, comfortable, supportive and no foot pain. If I could give these shoes 6 stars I would.
I have forever struggle with hiking boots. Like many people, my feet are not exactly the same and being able to get half size is a life saver as I always either swam in the shoes or was pinched into one of my toes. Tested on some 50km so far, no pain from the first moment on my feet.
I do a lot of miles each day so after some deliberation I ordered these they are chunky but lightweight and comfortable on the first few outings but I’ve not been in a downpour yet and that will be the test. They are generous around the toe but I wear thick socks
A little high by ankle bone when new. I hope this will soften up with use. Nice and wide around the toes. Grip on wet flat surface (patio) when new. I hope that this will get better with wear.
I like the pale grey colour. I will wear them for just about everything this winter, to replace my previous Keen trainers which are now quite worn because of constant use.
These shoes are comfortable and leather.
I sent for them specifically for my bunion, arch support issues
Unfortunately, my toe has become so extremely painful, that these shoes were painful.
I have small but wide flat feet so finding shoes are an issue for me, after a lot of research I settled on these. I wanted low rise hiking shoes so I can wear them over the summer so they’re not too heavy. These shoes are great, I tried them yesterday after torrential rain and they kept my feet completely dry even walking through large fairly deep puddles! Very happy I went ahead and got these
Love these Keen shoes. Wide fitting, light, loads of room in the toe box and comfy underfoot. Do they look good? Well tbh no they look a little clumpy, however I can forgive this for the comfort level. Haven’t done a long or wet test on them yet, but so fa
I’ve had quite a few pairs of these Keen walking shoes and boots over the years and they never cease to disappoint. They fit well and never cause any problems during the many miles of walking I have done over the years. Would definitely recommend.
So, let me paint you a picture of shoes so ridiculous, that no mortal shoe has been found that make this woman sigh in comfort. I have a high instep, massively wide feet and for reasons known only to the mystics, my little toes turn out. I’m also a size 7. As you can imagine it’s almost impossible for me to even pick out a pair of trainers.
I have looked at Keen’s shoes over the years and always thought them to look narrow and therefore be for the gifted of slim, beautiful feet.
So, I decided to give these a chance, purely based on reviews -‘ I can send them back” was my thought.
Awaiting torturous pain, I put these shoes straight on, then went for a 7 mile rough terrain walk. When I took them off later, I did not limp out of them.
These shoes are beyond the limits of perfection. They are sturdy and fix my feet in place, they are fully waterproof and the laces do not budge. I genuinely don’t think I have ever had a pair of shoes that fit this well in my life and I have spent fortunes.
I am now looking up to see what other shoes they do, because I’m going fully Keen for everything. Boots for winter, sandals, heck, if they do a trainer, I’m having them!!
If it’s at all a downside, they are VERY wide fit, so unless you have potatoes for feet as I do, you will have to wear thick socks.
Excellent shoes, just a slight problem with sizing!
I’ve bought these exact shoes, twice before, size Eu 41.5, GB 7.5.
Ordered another two pairs from Amazon and they were too big….
1st shoes had been made in Romania, “Assembled with pride in Europe” – the latest shoes are made in Thailand and are bigger. Both pairs have been sent back and reordered in a GB 7, which fit perfectly…. so, I hope this helps anyone who’s thinking of buying a pair.
Having Orthopaedic issues, it’s important to have good walking shoes. These were a bit stiff to begin with but after 3 walks, they are really comfortable. I feel stable & safe walking in these & they feel sturdy too. Good toes box & removeable insoles for my own orthotics! They’ve transformed walking my dog & can’t recommend highly enough for me. I believe these will suit a wider foot……..
Loved the fact you can walk across shallow streams with dry feet! That mud is easily removed, that there is plenty of space for toes to wiggle, that they fit my feet well! Have bought 2 more pairs so that I know I have a “smart pair” and a spare as a I wear them all year round and walk a lo
I needed a good comfortable-fitting waterproof shoe and this one did the trick. It has a good arch support, great tread for not slipping and the tongue is sewn to the body of the shoe, so doesn’t slide sideways or let water in. I did not follow the recommended sizing as most shoe manufacturers suggest ordering a UK size 5 for a US size 7, so that’s what I did. The manufacturer suggested a UK 4.5 and that would have been too small.
These KEEN shoes are as described and, given the slightly wider fit, there is plenty of room for the toes – even with a thicker sock. On first outing, they proved very comfortable.
They look incredibly sturdy and, whilst as yet untested, I have no reason to doubt that they will be fully waterproof.
Good purchase, with efficient service from the seller.
These are the comfiest walking shoes EVER! They are wide around the toes so brilliant for long hikes with no chafing at all. I love the reflective trim on the back too (which really does work as my partner has the same shoes too so I see his shining when we walk!)
I really like Keen boots and sandals as they are nice and wide. I bought these for autumn walking but I am still wearing them into the winter as the rubber bumper does a good job through mud and puddles. They are very comfortable and look to be wearing very well. Very pleased with them.
These shoes are so comfortable I don’t want to take them off. But I had to go half a size down and they fit just right with my normal thick walking socks. I recently have had pain in one foot due to a dropped arch ; but I love to walk. I also have narrow feet so was a bit worried that they may hurt around my ankles (like some other walking shoes have), but no, these are amazingly comfy. There is a very roomy toe box, which is great for me. The laces on mine do come undone easily, but they are plenty long enough to double bow and easily undo after. Definitely recommend. They also look good with some bootcut jeans for the school run and nipping to the supermarket.
The fit was expected but that was because I followed other reviewer’s advice when suggesting they come up small. I think I could have fitted my normal size but I do like thick socks so a bit more room is better. They are nice and wide fitting too. I tested them out on a rainy dog walk across a soggy park and they did not spring a leak. They are slightly heavier than expected but that probably means they’ll last longer. They do just come up under the ankle bone but not enough to rub, although another reviewer found the height and stiffness a problem. Good value for money in the sale. Arrived very quickly.
First of all, three cheers for this seller. I ordered on Thursday evening and received them on Saturday, nicely boxed. Wow!
These Keen boots are well made, very cushioned and comfortable. I’m not using them for hiking as much as for walking to work and back and around town. I needed something supportive and shock-absorbing. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and these feel wonderful. I’m a UK size 6 and these fit true to size, in my opinion, with room for thicker socks. They’re easy to put on and take off. The arch support is great. Too comfy to take off…
