The camera was a gift for my grandson. He really liked the idea of having his own camera and the look of mine. The camera is easy for him to use but he picture quality is not very good.
Prodotto consigliatissimo.
Was impressed with all this ‘kid’ camera was capable of. Very easy to use due to the smaller size, less fumbling. My grandson was very happy with his own camera.
Once sorted it is great my 5 Yr old grandson loves it he goes about taking pics of everything and then loves seeing them transfared to his tablet, he can then go back to taking pics, we’ll worth the money.
Highly recommended. I gave this chunky camera to my 3 year old grandson for Christmas and he refused to put it down. Happily snapped photos all day long. So pleased that I chose this one rather than a child friendly (decorated) adult camera!
Super DEE Duper cool. I shoot canon and always have. My daughter has always shown interest in photography so of course ive gotten her a few of those kiddie cameras. Some shaped like animals others shooting at a high MP but, i most say this camera crushes all competition. The look of course gets a thumbs up but, i think the zoom feature and the quick access to a timer shot is so good. The quality is what you would expect form a camera like this. I recommend this for all you parents who have kids who might want to learn about photography. Great and practical product Follow me on here daily reviews and/or answering questions on the products reviewed
These are my main Likes and Dislikes for this product:
Like:
Looks like an SLR
Reasonably solid build
32GB memory card
Does selfies
Dislike:
No touchscreen
Not ’48 megapixels’ of image quality
Tiny lens
Terrible video
——————–
I would say it’s only going to be of interest to very young children, maybe age eight and under (at most). The photographs are of course not really 48MP, you are getting basically a couple of megapixels or real detail, or 1080p equivalent when compared to an actual real camera. The autofocus works, as does the flash, which means you can actually use this as a camera in an emergency, and not just a toy. The video and audio quality is very poor, and in many indoor lighting conditions it is terrible (particularly the video). In daylight, outdoor video is a bit more acceptable.
In terms of functionality, it works fine and can be used by almost any age. For a relatively cheap camera that even a toddler can operate, this does the job and it may well make them want to get into photography as a hobby or even career. Just don’t let them get their sticky fingers on your real camera.
The outer case is made of bump resistant black silicone, which should protect it somewhat from those occasional drops and bumps. The camera lens is well pushed back from the from, this also offers a decent level of protection for it.
On the top is a shoot/record button for taking your photos and on the front, to the side, is an autofocus button which has a 3-min timer function as well. This is most probably the best way for kids to shoot with this camera.
Picture quality is not bad at 48MP, and the video quality is also pretty decent as it records in full HD. The photo colour representation was quite accurate.
On the rear of the camera is a smallish screen, that is reasonably clear and easy to see. You also have the controls for accessing the menu functions. These includes shooting modes, such a portrait, landscape, food, night, etc. Do not expect too much from the night mode, particularly as the camera does not have a flush — a big oversight from my perspective. There is also a decent enough zoom as well.
You can add in some fun filters and stickers to your photos and videos e.g., smiley faces, swimming fish, birthday, etc. Which are ideal for kids to have fun with.
The supplied 32Gb memory card is a good starting point but if you child is going to shoot a load of full HD video, then you may want to get a larger one or ensure that they are downloaded from it. This can either be done via the USB to USB-C cable or by plugging the card into a card reader.
Where I sought of struggle slightly with this camera, remember it is targeted at 3–8-year-olds, is the 69.99 price point. You can get a Cybershop for that price. However, it is going to be less child friendly in terms of use and durability.
I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.
NB. For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.
This is a good gift for kids. It is lightweight and packed nicely. It is made of rubber which is nice touch and easy to hold for kids. Also anti slip. The red buttons are outstanding from black background so it is good for kids to choose. It is simple to use and the battery is rechargeable. The picture quality is not bad. Overall it is a good fun for kids especially those who like photography. It is currently on sale of only 48.99 which is good value for money. It is a good choice for Christmas gift if you still have no idea for your small treasures.
I am a professional videographer and my little one all time copying me. This is an amazing gift for him. This is a great first camera for the children. It has a lot of the same features like a pro camera. It has a lens you can change the focus, built-in flash, memory card slot. etc. Of course, we can not wait for its take amazing quality photos but for the children, it’s an amazing item. It comes with a 32GB memory card and a lovely camera strap. Recommend it.
My son’s old camera stopped working few months ago. This camera looks really high end for a toy camera.
My son loves it. He brings it everywhere and takes pictures.

This is a great first camera for any child. Really well made and good quality. Super easy to use and actually produces really good quality images. Would be a great present for anyone that wants to get there kids into photography. Would defo recommend.
I really like this camera aimed at 3-7 year olds and is a perfect starter for your budding photographer. It is made to be man-handled and will certainly take a few knocks and bumps. It is well built and has many of the everyday features you find in SLR cameras aimed at much older users.
In the box you get a lightweight, smooth matte finished silicone covered camera with a 2.4 inch IPS screen and red control buttons. It is rechargeable and comes with a USB cable, a lanyard, some stickers and instruction book. I’m not a big fan of the lanyard – great idea but it has no safety snap release so is a potential hazard especially if your little one is running around with it around their necks.
The camera works just like a grown up SLR camera – it captures decent quality pictures and film and allows your little one to explore the joys of photography. It also has a decent zoom and a one-key AF auto focus, making taking clear pictures that much easier. It takes 4-5hours to fully charge but does seem to last quite a good amount of time so I’m happy with that.
This is fun, designed to encourage and engage little ones with photography and feel this is a great ‘first’ camera to begin with. I’d certainly recommend.
I will answer these questions in this review! 🙂
Firstly, this camera is fairly straight forward to use, I’m certain that a 6 year old could get used to it after some practice and guidance. Of course the user interface won’t be as advanced as a professional camera and this is purposely done to ensure your child doesn’t get overwhelmed. There is a selfie mode, picture and video mode and I love that the camera automatically focuses so no need to adjust any settings. More time to enjoy the moment and snap a photo! The camera also has some other fun features which will keep the buzz and excitement for beginner photography alive for your child!
The camera is also surprisingly light-weight so this is a huge bonus and not to mention the exterior is made from a rubber-like material for enhanced grip and some shock resistance (in theory). When you want to export the photos/videos your child took, you can simply do this via a micro SD dongle and connect to your pc/mac/laptop.
The camera quality isn’t the best, especially in low lighting. However, I am sure that with some practice and in well lit environments the quality will be good at around a resolution of 1080p!
Overall, 4 stars due to the camera quality not being the best but still a fun camera for any child!
Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂
My 9 year old and 6 year old both enjoy using this camera. It’s easy to use, has a micro SD card to store plenty of photos, and allows them to make use of lots of fun effects. It’s small but robust enough for children to handle confidently.
This arrived in a sleeved lift top box, with an image of the camera on the outside along with functions and product details. Inside the box the camera is protected with a bag and sitting in a bespoke plastic tray, the instructions along with a set of stickers are in the bottom of the box, and an additional box contains the camera strap and USB to USB-C charging and data transfer lead.
First impressions: the camera is quite light with a smooth matt rubberised finish, all the buttons are red rubber and stand out well against the black of the camera. The instructions are not the greatest but it does not take long to work everything out with the main settings being accessed via the presses on the left cross button. The zoon lens on the camera is nice and smooth with an audible click as you move it. The screen is nice and clear and the menu is quite easy to navigate with the buttons.
After charging the camera I had a good read through the instructions and familiarised myself with the features along with setting the time and date. I took a few tests shots and tried out the zoom feature which also has a visual slider on the screen, this worked well on the camera although this is not an available feature on the video function.
My youngest daughter is six years old and was delighted to try this out, she was perfectly able to operate it on her own and once she understood the front button and the countdown for taking pictures, and how to switch to video she has been using it every day since it arrived and really enjoying using it. The strap is very useful and has a release button so she keeps it round her neck so as not to drop or damage it. I transferred the pictures and video by linking the lead to my PC but you can also remove the 32gb micro SD card (supplied) if you want to transfer via a dongle, or if your PC has a card slot. The camera has a “flash” on the front but it isn’t the brightest and more for effect than practicality.
Overall I think this is a great camera for a child and my daughter is not only loving it her ability to take pictures and video is really improving the more she understands the features, and to keep it still when taking a picture.
This digital camera for kids from about 3 to 8 year old working very well, and it very easy to use especially for kids. Has 4800w pixel dual camera and 2.4 inch IPS screen, high definition pictures for sure, kids can better record the memorable moment. This camera has fill flash light what is very helpful to take a better picture. and more clearly at night. This awsome camera it not only to taking picture, also can make very good quality videos, recording voice. Has timing function which supports time lapse taking photo in 10s timing. Very long battery life (1200mah). It is very lightweight only 145g.
I can easily say that any kid will love it.
Recommend.
My toddler LOVES this camera!! Great price for easy entertainment. She feels so grown up with it and can take as many pics as she wants, without blowing up my iPhone camera roll!
Super cute for the kiddo. Low quality video which is super nostalgic. Came with the micro SD CARD.
She’s confused by the no touch screen only because she knows how to use current smart devices. I’d, honestly, prefer she had no idea how to use that stuff. Lol. Audio is horrible, FYI, but it’s a kids toy, not Spielberg’s film gear. So relax. Overall a fun little gadget for a toddler.
Great product! Camera quality not amazing but it’s perfect for kids. Won’t be developing the random pics she takes anyway so I could care less about the quality 😉
I have tried and tested this last week and the best I can say is that it’s great (for kids) If you are expecting SLR quality in the pics, then think again as you certainly won’t get it but for kids it’s brilliant!
I will let my grandson have this at Christmas and will update with his reactions then!
So, this is one pricey and nothing less than a mid-tier digital camera. I mean it is design especially for kids. but in no way the picture quality looks low. Even the functions are fully built in this camera. It already comes with a SD card. So, its literally ready for use. at my house, my partner is a really great photographer. And looking at him, my son is developing a lot of interest in photography. So, now they have an activity to do together. Both the boys take their cameras and goes at the top of the hill from some photos. And I have to judge, who took better photos. I mean obviously, it’s a fun competition. But the quality of this kids camera is actually really good.
MOREXIMI kids digital camera is fantastic if you have a budding photographer in your life. This is great for kids, but it’s also been great for my gran, who used to love taking photos, but due to dexterity issues and not being able to use her old camera as the buttons were to fiddly and small. This is great, she loves that she can take so many different pictures and even some videos, the SD card is big enough that she can go away to her hearts content and then look at them all later and decide what to keep. This is so easy to use, and doesn’t look childish, so its good for kids and adults. It also takes great pictures for the price. For what you get its very good value.
So the packaging contains a camera, strap with emojis, stickers and of course charger USB-C.
The camera itself is 48megapixels which for kids is really more than enough, as well it has a 2.4-inch screen to check the pictures you took etc, basically all same as the normal camera. The whole camera is covered with soft rubber material to protect from falls etc, plus it will not slip so easily from the hands. Which will happen eventually because it’s a kid camera. So protections against those damages are there. it has a simple flash as well.
I think what’s gonna be confusing for some is two buttons to take pictures. Where one just takes a photo without focusing and another one takes it with focusing which I think for smaller kids will be a bit confusing. Plus there is another variety of functions etc. I think the function of the sticker is quite fun on this camera where you can take pictures with emojis etc.
Overall it’s better than I expected really, and my godson is happy walking around in the yard taking pictures of birds, the sky and other stuff. So ye it’s perfect present in my opinion and worth every penny.
This already had some charge, it’s straightforward to use with only a few buttons to press it is intuitive and easy for its younger users. One aspect of this I found fantastic was the ability to zoom by rotating the lens. This mimics an actual SLR and encourages STEM learning, focusing a camera is very much a learned skill that is transferable to science, lab work etc.
The fun part of this camera is all of the effects/frames available to use, I’ve actually made a short video to showcase these. From aeroplanes to fast food there is a plethora of scenes to chose and some moving ones too. They really do spark the imagination with wearable hats or speech bubbles.
Supplied with a 32G memory card this has everything your little one needs to get started on their journey into photography.
Currently 72.99 (9/21) and with a 15% off voucher available bringing it to about 62 I think given it is supplied with a memory card and you don’t have to purchase one separately which would cost around 7, you’re technically paying 55 for the camera. Very reasonable given the quality and functions available. I prefer this being more adult looking as when your child becomes a teen they can continue to use it not embarrassed by a childish looking toy camera. A good investment for your little one that should hopefully provide hours of fun and creativity.
Granddaughter loves this camera works just like her mums has a 2.4 inch screen takes great pics and videos at 1080 has 20x zoom function and comes with a 32g memory card so you can export to computer or phone a great gift for a child if a little expensive
