I was looking for hyperX Fury ram but as HyperX is no longer with Kingston, I bought this as a substitute, and they are basically the same other than a slight design change, just as good.

This memory is very good value for money and functions exactly as intended. The first pair I got had a faulty stick but this was quickly rectified by amazon and they sent another one. In my opinion, the best budget RAM you can buy and visually appealing too

Really good product. Plugged them into the two spare Ram slots in my pc (the other two slots had the same speed and size ram from a similar company) and they worked instantly at full speed.

No hassle, no issues. Easy and worked as intended instantly.

If you just want simple memory, no RGB or fancy big ass heat spreaders but simple, low profile and classic then these are currently representing superb value.

Simple to install as all RAM should be and once set to XMP2 (MSI B450 board) they give excellent performance.

At under 40 for 16GB of 3600MHz RAM, they are an absolute steal.

It’s DDR4. Unless you plan to hold out for the near future, I don’t recommend these too much but if you are. These are great!

Though my main issues with these is that they changed chips, so if you had a older sticks of ram then these won’t work. These uses Micron. As I remember the other Fury Black ram did not. You will come into compatibility issues because of this if you plan to use it with that.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was surprised at the high cost of this memory as it’s a few years old tech now. I checked all sites and none were any better.
When buying memory keep this in mind:
Generally sold in pairs. Mostly with the total memory of both sticks.
Don’t buy faster than your motherboard can handle as you waste your money
The voltage rating can be greater than the motherboard
Check that the RAM technology (DDR4) is compatible with your processor/ motherboard

The modules are what they are….good!

However, most board bios systems have an issue when you enable XPM. They DO NOT adjust the voltage to what the XMP profile says it should be. You MUST open advanced memory settings and manualy set the DRAM voltage to 1.35v to eliminate boot issues.

Other than that wee tech-tip….it’s top quality Dram. I bought it twice 4x8GB total.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI ordered this as my pc had 16gb of the same ram already installed so I boosted it to 32gb. Easy to install. I would highly recommend watching a YouTube tutorial of how to get the max clock speeds in your bios. This will allow you to access the full speed of the ram. Would buy again!

64gb might be overboard for some, but for music production and video editing this is spot on
Always better to have that little bit extra, easy to fit ddr4 Kingston a brand to trust..

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersInstalled it and worked perfectly, if we ignore the fact I plugged my monitor into wrong HDMI the first time for people buying ram, even if it motherboard doesn’t support the ram speed it will still run at mobos clock speed. Currently looking into a new mobo now.

Tdlr explanation for people new to buying ram.
Ram amount is how many processes it can handle at once, for example amount of pixels it can process at the same time using ur graphics card.
Ram speed is how fast it can start a new process after finishing the previous.

What this means is ram amount will help you process HD videos and images much faster than speed but ram speed allows it to switch faster allowing u to have higher FPS from videos and games, ofc subject to ur GPU speed as well. Unless ur looking to push 120+ fps ram speed is almost never considered.

I’ve got this 64GB kit installed on an Asus Maximus Hero VIII with an i7-6700K running Windows 10 and it works flawlessly. After installation they were automatically running with the XMP profile (3200MHz) when I booted up the computer, then I ran the Windows Memory checker to confirm there were no issues and it passed first time.

I have 4x 16GB in my workstation, D.O.C.P profile 1 enabled to run at max frequency and nearly all 64GB have been accessed through various heavy work activities. Great for gaming, and the composed black finish looks very professional for those non RGB builds.
They don’t get hot, materials are solid and I have never had a problem with any Kingston RAM.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSetting the frequency to 3200MHz with XMP profile 1 results in a blue screen each time. The XMP 2.0 profile did work fine. Not being able to hit the advertised frequency is quite disappointing though.

My motherboard is a z690 so I don’t expect that is the issue.

Last Christmas I decided to upgrade mu desktop P.C. and as always it lead to me ending up replacing the whole lot, at eye-watering expense. At the time I decided to buy Patriot memory DDR 4400 as two ‘paired’ sets of two pairs of 8Mb (32Mb). At the time I spent a couple of hours scrolling down potential sellers of the GTX 3070 graphics card which I found for 380. Yes, you read that correctly. It even arrived the next day.
I suffered from random crashes to desktop whenever I played a game through STEAM. I began to think that I’d been sold a dodgy GPU but not being sure, I sent the computer to an expert , who couldn’t find anything wrong, then charged me a packet. Then my friend’s son told me to check my memory. Lo and behold when I swapped out the RAM for this stuff, the crashes stopped. I can’t even tell that it’s slower. This is good stuff.
