Most modern cars don’t come with an in-built CD player. This handy, and reasonably pruced, gadget allows you to play CDs on the move. Highly recommended.
I love this great little cd player. Good sound, easy to use. Good long battery life. After using for a couple of weeks I noticed a slight defect with the charging slot. So I contacted KLIM. With description and a photo.
There reply came back the same day. I was issued with a replacement code.

The overall quality of service and of the CD player is good. Struggling a bit with the Bluetooth linking to a pair of Sony Headphones . Could have done with a proper guide pamphlet but managed to get something off the web.
My only problem is that there’s no carrying strap or handle on the protective pouch and could possibly do with a remote control. Otherwise with its portability it’s Brilliant and I can now listen to my old and new cds wherever instead of just through my dvd player and in one place. Definitely a fantastic purchase and a fantastic player well done KLIM I love the Nomad……
Bought this for my mum who has insomnia and likes to listen to CD audio books. Great machine with good features and my mum quickly got to grips with using it. Only drawback was that it did not last 8 hours the first night only managing about 6 hours of solid play. So had to have it plugged in for other nights but with new bluetooth earphones or mini speaker, mum was kept entertained all night.
I had an issue that the KLIM Nomad would not pair up with my Bluetooth Speaker or Headphones. I referred this to KLIM Customer Service and within a couple of days they sent a replacement player. This one worked as expected. The customer service I received was excellent and Marja kept me advised throughout.
When I received the klim nomad cd it was defective the klim team replaced it immediately within 2 days I have to congratulate the team for there effort the unit itself produces a great sound through my Bluetooth speakers so all my cd, s are no longer redundant the unit cost 65.00 pounds and I can honestly say it was well worth it so if there is any one looking to go retro and bring out there old cd, s and play them through a bluetooth system this is the one to buy I did a bit of research and there isn’t many company’s out there that manufacture a portable cd player that can connect to a bluetooth speaker it might say its Bluetooth but most will only connect to a pc phone or tablet as the Bluetooth module is a receiver to play through a speaker the Bluetooth must have a bt transmitter Once again to klim support thanks very much
Great portable CD player – been looking to replace my mother’s old Sony which had stopped working and didn’t want anything which only used Bluetooth or relied on music streaming services. This one is easy to use with larger buttons on the top so great for an older person. Carry pouch is a useful addition and straight forward to charge with the included USB cable. Ear pods, also, included so ready to use. Sound quality is excellent and volume range is good. Can’t really comment on the battery life, as she hasn’t had it for long, but assume it will be similar to an iPad or iPhone.
Bought a similar one last year (hoped to get a good deal with a cheaper model). In the end, the frustration with inferiority in every aspect got the better of me, and I bought this.
Everything about it is superior. well worth dipping a bit deeper into my pocket.
Bluetooth pairing is almost instant; controls are clearly marked and work concisely; charging is simple; and it comes with a handy carry-case and ear phones.
Wish I’d saved myself a few pounds and bought this one in the first placeit’s great!
Sound quality excellent. Bluetooth works but far too quiet for my beoplay h8 headphones. Great with wired ear and headphones. Nice presentation but build quality cheap plastic. Nice case. I would love something performing like this with quality build.
The CD player is really good.sound quality is very good.Radio doesn’t seem to pick up many channels though.
Trusty Amazon , and searched hard . i fancied first an Oakchester till i read the reviews and Stars , then i found the Klim and the more i read the more i liked it , good reviews and nearly 5 Stars . Next to you tube and again good reports , this must be it i said and ordered it . Came as usual the next Day and it looked a Solid bit of Kit , a lovely Case with it . And a surpiseinly good pair of plug in Ear buds , and i found they alone bought separate cost 15
. I could hear they were good , but can never listen to them alone as i can never get that type to stay in my Ears . But still a Bonus , and the lead as an ariel good thinking . Got down to my trials and became a bit unstuck , i reckon Joe average has 1 pair of phones but i have 6 . Top is my noise cancelling Bose at 300 , if you do get a klim and borrow a Bose then you will have a Sonic Shock as they are damn good when heard through top class BT phones . Now down to my trouble spot , as i have two Shokz BT bone phones . ( Again perfect through the Klim ) , now as i was trying to link
in with two phones ( and with my age at 80 ) i was very confused . Here goes i said i got to get in touch with the Company , which is rarely a good experience as they don’t want to hear of Trouble . Now this is where the Iceing on the Cake was put on my Klim , i E mailed the Company not expecting much . But my first shock was that the E Mail came back in 15 hours , and this Gentleman came back called Greg ( A brill Guy ) and i told him all my
problem . Again in less than a Day ( that even happened on a Sunday ) he came back . Now as i was not a good Customer at this time , anxious and
frustrated ( happens more when older ) . Did this phase Greg , not a bit as he stayed cool and Friendly . i don’t think i could have had a better and more helpful Man , he sensed i was very wound up and still thought things weren’t right . So he played it cool , and took his time so it was spread over 4 E Mails . When we finished ( he had the Patience of a Saint ) and i was 100 % Happy , i felt more of him as a Friend . And i could see it was all on me as so many BTs , now i understand it all the now easy . There was even one Day i sent my E Mail early and it came back in the Afternoon . So where am i heading , first don’t think twice about buying this item as it Top Class . i still got an old Sony still working , but the Klim now far better . Two brill points , if you did give it a nasty Shock then you see Disc stop . But the music is perfect , and i almost could not believe my eyes as that can go on
for 100 seconds . And another Bonus , i want to make a cuppa but not lose where i am . Press a little button on the phones and the player pauses , now sometimes i forget what i was doing don’t go back to the Player for say 1/2 an . Press the button and straight back on , and one last Perk . As it is BT if you have a phone call , touch the little button and you are talking loud and clear . clearer than the Phone . So if you like what you see then buy it ,
as you are buying from the Best ( and straight back if not happy ) but you will like it . And the best bit of all , Greg and his brilliant team to put you right if anything goes wrong . And Greg if by any chance you do read this , then thanks for the brilliant assistance you gave . I reckon Klim are going to go a long way . Thanks to all for a Very good BT CD player . This was purchased to listen to relaxation cd’s while flying abroad. I am so glad I chose this make and model. Turned out to be the best ever. Will definitely take it with me again. It made a long flight very easy.
I’ve still got lots of CDs that I listen to and this player along with good bluetooth headphones sits at my bedside. The sound quality to my ears is good.
Easy to follow manual, overall the end result quality reproduction.

I bought this new bluetooth enabled KLIM mobile cd player product mainly to play my audio-book cd series on the work commute which I haven’t been able to upload properly onto my digital walkman.
Its a smart, light package, relatively simple and straightforward to use. Comes with decent KLIM wired earphones which have good sound quality and worth iro 15-20 on their own.
I did have problems and have not been able to bluetooth pair with my Sony WH1000xm3s which other reviewers have noted re Sony too, however it has paired very easily with my Skullcandy uproar headphones and JBL endurance earphones. When paired the connection was good at over 20 feet distance from unit and in different rooms. With a 5 year warranty being offered too, happy to pay iro 70. Give it 4 stars, lost a star re: the Sony pairing issue. Also comes with a smart carry case and USB 2.0 charge cable.
Good sound quality with Bluetooth headphones and it was easy to connect them. Haven’t tried with wired headphones or a speaker. Battery life seems good so far. Happy with my purchase
After making a mistake by buying the AIWA PCD-810RD CD player thinking that it is better to buy a well know brand from yesteryear I managed to sell that, as the sound was too flat and the rechargeable batteries hardly lasted a few hours! I bought this Kilm Nomad portable CD player after much researching and wanting one that had FM radio functionality and long battery life using only internal battery. Let me say the sound playing right after taking out the box is incredible! It’s like listening to a CD on a good quality hifi like my Roberts Blutune 200. I’m testing it listening to my James Bond soundtracks and you can hear the definition on each instrument! The CD player is fully charged and ready to go. Worth every penny!
I put one of the best Rock albums of all time in and BOOOOM!!! I was amazed by the sound quality. The crispness of the sound quality is amazing. The mechanism inside sometimes stops but the song continues, it has a short memory inside, this just makes the battery life longer. With the next song it starts to roll again. It has 5 equalizer modes, however I was mostly impressed the Bass Boast. It makes the sound even more satisfactory.
The backlit digital screen is very handy for using in the dark. The buttons are abit clanky but that makes it nostalgic. I loved it. The buttons are also have backlight.
The show case is also has a tidy, professional look, which makes it quite enjoying.
I am most impressed with this player. It is not heavy, can be taken everywhere. Long story short it is GREAT!!!
Excellent sound quality for a CD player with suitable EQ settings, easy to use and long battery life. Radio channel clarity and sound quality are surprisingly high. Two minuses: Automatic radio channel search finds many non-existent, very noisy and ‘screaming’ disturbance “radio channels” along with the genuine ones, and you have to scroll over them when choosing your channel. Although CD audiobook chapters are mostly short, for some reason the player allows rewinding only once / chapter. If e.g. the reader’s pronounciation is hazy, this can be a problem.
I bought this for my car because I did not realise it did not have a CD player. Nave of me really, but I am 77years old, but i love my cd’s. I have tried other CD players without success, but this one to date has been brilliant. I have had no loss of signal or interference. Great.
Very happy with this. The only negatives are the noisy buttons that may irritate people around – e.g. when commuting. Also a rather clunky menu – e.g. for selecting music tracks on an SD card.
So far, the Nomad CD playing functionality has worked well for me. The Nomad also has an FM radio (not DAB) which the Hott didn’t (although this was just a nice to have for me). If the FM radio is important to you then be warned as the Nomad can only play the FM radio through the earphones and not an external Bluetooth speaker (even with an optional 3.5 mm aerial fitted).
It does play both and also support mp3 cds.
I also was able to use the blue tooth function with headphones and earbuds. I also tested the player with wired earbuds and wired headphones.
I personally felt the sound was clearer with wired headset or wired earbuds. I also felt music cds played better ie less interference than audio cds. I have never owned a wireless bluetooth set of earbuds or headphones so not sure if what I was experiencing was my super human hearing or a slight difference in quality between wired and bluetooth.
As I can still use the player to listen to audio cds with a wired headset and the normal music cds with wireless I am happy enough.
What I can say passionately is I have had the best customer service experience ever. this company truely listens, makes you feel valued, wants to help and find a resoulution and goes the extra mile on top. I will not mention everything they did for me whilst helping me get up and running with this product as I don’t want people taking advantage of there kind nature but these people are amazing and I would have no issue in trying anything they sold. As for the cd player its suits my needs and is reasonably good considering it has bluetooth function which normally bumps the price up significantly, yes there is room for improvement but I honestly think the company will address this in a very short space of time.
All I can say is buy in confidence and if its not for you be reasured the seller will do everything to address and sort out any issues or alternately let you return the item.
