If you’ve ever owned a Knipex tools you know the quality is top notch. These are no exception but be aware these are very compact. Great for handymen, it’s awesome they have such a nice carrying case too. I purchased these as a gift for my son but he feels they are to small for his work situation. I, on the other hand find them perfect for my job. Great for getting into small spaces and very easy to use. The versatility and small size make them a welcome addition for almost everyone!
Handy and easy to use for any small project that needs attention quickly. I’ve purchased several of these for each of the car, boat and several other’s for the home/ shed and for office .. and now I’m going to get a few more for gifts ( I prefer the 86 03 150 and then the 8701125- personally the 100’s are a little too small)
Bought these as a gift for my 3 brothers for Christmas, and have used them my self best compact pliers around can only imagine what a full size would do. Only regret is not buying myself a pair at the time now waiting to get the extra cash to get myself a set lol
Schnelle Lieferung
Das Set besteht aus einer
Knipex Copra 8701125 – Lnge 125 mm
und dem
Knipex Zangenschlssel 86 03 150 – Lnge 150 mm
Great quality tools and the pouch elastic can also be used to carry my knipex electrical cabinet key and fluke non contact tester. Comfortable low ride height so it does not come above the belt line much at all.
Amazing and tough. Small and light enough for a shirt pocket or any hip holster. It grips without slippage onto nuts/bolts that should have been reserved for huge tools. It’s now part of my EDC and I have used them, mercilessly. I seriously doubt I could destroy them (with normal use, of course).
Great little pliers – very well build and the case is useful with the small elastics on the sides for other accessories – I have fitted these with a pen, torch, third set of pliers and callipers in there.
I love the tools. They’re incredibly useful and very well made. Lifetime tools.
The pouch? Hilarious. I can see how these are in people’s EDC kits. But the pouch is so small and I mostly use it for repulsing my wife. I put it on my belt then pretend to go fix stuff. I make sure to tuck my tshirt in and pull my jeans right up. Jeans and sneakers are even better for the full look.
Love the tools. The pouch is something else.
You can feel the quality in these, even the pouch is very nice with elastic on the sides to store other items. The cobras are a bit on the small side for most applications though
Very handy tool to have in your pocket, I’ve had the full size grips in my kit for years and many times they are just too big to fit in that tight space to get the job done. This tiny set or grips feel excellent and well built, they slip in your pocket and can be part of your everyday carry. Not too heavy and have a good amount of adjustment. Pulling pins out of skirting, turning radiator taps, removing nuts. You won’t regret buying these
This is a great little bundle for any trade, I find myself reaching for these for tons of little jobs from adjusting the tool rest on a lathe to installing gards on equipment.
Only if I call it Alls as you get what you pay for, this pairing is fantastic, you can do most maintenance jobs with this a set of Allen keys and some screwdrivers
As expected, Knipex quality tools in a sturdy nylon pouch. The parallel jaw pliers do the job of about 10 spanners and the mini water pump style pliers have great grip and versatility. 10/10 all round. Note that they are smaller than you might expec
Great set, pretty much the only set I use when fitting bathrooms
I didn’t buy mine in this kit but have two of the spanner type ones in this kit and have had them over ten years. I’m a engineer and while they don’t replace spanners they are very useful. I don’t use an adjustable now. Great to keep in a car or tool box. When force is applied to one of the handles they self lock and don’t come off. I also have a set of the cobra toothed jaw ones. They are small but again once on they hold well and have been a great help in a tight spot helping to fix a baby gate on one occasion when the adjustment came loose and a normal spanner wouldn’t grip it. A bit expensive but having had knipex wire cutter, pliers and wire strippers I know this kit can with stand every day use
They are knipex virtually no more to be said. Expensive-yes quality-yes durable-yes beautiful to hold & use-yes. Basically everything you spend more on quality for. These are a small carry everywhere back up set & stay with my motorcycle along with a wera mini ratchet set. If you want quality you have to pay for it.
Well made great tools abit expensive pouch is strong and good warning the cobra in pliers are pretty small.
Where have these been all my life? I use the small set so often I just ended up keeping them in my pocket. The larger silver set have put most of my smaller spanners out of work. Expensive but fantastic products.
I bought these as a treat to myself after having them on my wish list for a while and seeing on a PB Plumber YouTube video.
I always umm’d and ahhh’d over the purchase as 60+ seemed like a huge price for two hand tools that I didn’t know how much I would use. I looked around but there does not seem to be a competitor to these.
I’m glad I made the purchase and the quality of these tools is outstanding. I am not disappointed and think ultimately I would have been frustrated if I had tried to buy alternatives to these.
I work at a school and I wear these on my belt all day. These make a good alternative to a adjustable spanner and because you have two tools are more versatile. I did question why they were different sizes but I believe that is because the jaw sizes mean these two work together better for plumbing applications etc
It is also worth noting that the case and belt clip are good quality. The belt clip can be slipped over an existing belt and then locked into place meaning you can take them off your belt without having to unthread etc.
Biggest con is that they are a great size for little hands to use hence why my two year old has taken a special shine to “Knippy” and “Beaky”!
Don’t think too long, just buy them.
Knipex mini pliers set bought off Amazon warehouse, expensive tools but a lot cheaper on Amazon than where I live. Also bought from warehouse so slightly cheaper again arrived in perfect condition no issues at all good deal
Knipex are a good make and these are good tools but remember these are expensive for what you get!
Electrician, plumber, mechanic, whatever your trade you need these, this set of two can replace an entire set of spanners, if like me your mobile and use public transport then you need your tool bag to be as light as possible.
These came direct from Germany and postage was supposed to be 9 days but came in 4 days. These tools are amazingly strong and can undo bolts up to 27mm. You can really anchor down on these. I have other knipex tools and although they are expensive I would really recommend saving up and biting the bullet, they are expensive for a reason. If your that person who keeps looking and debating about spending so much just do it you will not be disappointed. I’ve put up a few photos. Pssst they fit perfectly in an maxpedition edc pocket organiser if your making a tool edc kit.
I had been planning to buy this Knipex set for some time……..I’m glad I finally did!!
The package was delivered well before the anticipated delivery date and to say I was slightly impressed was an understatement. I have brought quite a few Knipex tools and I have always been impressed and will always recommend them anyone who needs to purchase quality tools.
They are called Minis because they are just that MINIS……small and compact, they are useful in tight places where access is difficult or where the item to be removed is worn .
Looking forward to many years service from these quality tools! Knipex, once again, I salute you
At first it may seem like these tools duplicate one another, but they each perform different tasks and do it well. The “pliers wrench” (the silver tool) has smooth parallel jaws. In addition to workling like spanners, they are excellent for shaping and straightening metal. I feel I have very good control over the amount of gripping pressure, and use them regularly on delicate plastic parts
The “cobra” water pump pliers have tremendous gripping power, due in large part to the quality of the steel and cut of the teeth. They are excellent for gripping the heads of stripped screws even if very little is protruding. Both tools require limited squeezing, simply pushing on the top handle is generally sufficient to keep them locked in place.
They share the same basic adjustment lock (a springloaded button). It is secure, but it takes some time to develop a feel for how far open the handles need to be for it to slide smoothly (hold them too open or too closed and the teeth catch even if the button is fully depressed).
I was a bit disappointed when they arrived and I saw just how small they are, but the seem plenty sturdy and their small size has turned out to be an advantage as it is easy to slip them into a pocket. I find the case to be bulky (65 mm wide x 160 mm long x 40 mm deep), so slipping them into a pocket is usually a better solution for me.
Tiny, strong and very well made. Useful for so many things around the house and they have replaced many spanners and pliers previously used. I have also bought some of the larger sized Cobra’s.
