For the Price really good quality. But sometimes the pixels turn off to fix this just flick the effected spot then it works. Colour quality is good. Refresh Rate is good on any xbox. Sound Quality it doesnt play on its own. So u need another speaker. But not much of a problem if u have a aux to auc and a speaker.
In the video advertising the monitor (180hz 1080p 24.5″) it says a DP (display port) cable was included I found this good as I only had one hdmi slot on my graphics card which another monitor was already plugged into. It came with a hdmi cable instead of a DP cable so I can only use either one monitor for now. I haven’t tested it but it looks visually good, good refresh rate but haven’t tested ghosting or colour blurring yet.
When I first used the monitor the colour was washed but I messed about with my pc setting and changed it from 1080 60hz to 1440 144hz and the colour and picture quality improved dramatically
Light weight, good image quality, good colours, refresh rate is as expected, over all good monitor for the price.
I was looking to upgrade my gaming setup and decided to start with the monitors, for a 1440p gaming experience.
It come well packaged, with a decent stand which requires screwing together. There’s standoff of vest mounting too and a short displayport to displayport cable.
The settings have the monitor at 1440p 60hz by default (I assume for power saving) but you can adjust it to 120 & 144hz in the display settings (for windows).
The monitor is bright, responsive and overall really great for the money. With the thin bezels I liked it so much, I bought a 2nd one.
Only issue I have, is I can’t get the speakers to work (over hdmi), but I have dedicated speakers, so it isn’t a problem for me.
Overall highly recommend for the price, if you have alternative audio.
The truth is, these are well built quality monitors. The colour balance is great, no flickering, just plug and play. They are very well packed. There really is nothing more you could ask for given the price. You can always get better if you pay a lot more, but unless you are doing some form of photo editing or graphics design you really don’t need anything more. For gaming, all you need is a fast monitor, with reasonable colour balance that does not flicker, box ticked.
Having read both positive and negative reviews for this product, it was clear that there was little risk in making this purchase, and now I have them (I ordered 2), I can confirm that to be true. It will not break your WiFi, format your hard drive or set fire to the cat, I promise you.
(I seem to have been sent the 165MHz version)
Easy set up, good colours. Can’t speak to gaming performance but the large screen and 1440 res makes working in Blender and Premiere much better.
On the monitor’s menu, turn Adaptive-Sync on. Change RGB to 47 red, 49 green, 50 blue. Response Time to Fast. I increased brightness to 95 but this is personal preference. Disable HDR.
On your computer in System -> Display -> Advanced display, change refresh rate to 240hz.
I personally changed scale to 125% to make text more readable. I’ve also forced G-Sync on using NVIDIA Control Panel as my GPU isn’t always powerful enough to hit 240fps, which can result in input lag.
Overall it’s a pretty good monitor, especially for the price. Just bear in mind that you may experience ghosting if your GPU isn’t up to par. In that case, you should turn G-Sync on and use the Fast response time on the monitor. I’d avoid HDR as it’s only 400 which isn’t worth using in my opinion.
I love this monitor for the price it’s excellent quality but buyers do bare in mind that the monitor doesn’t emit sound yet you will need either output speakers or headphones. Other than that it’s a spectacular monitor very neat design and performs well for its price n potential.
one thing i would watch out for is that there is audio in the monitor, but your gonna need an audio cable, AUX, for the sound, without that it wont play sound.
Also the price for this monitor is crazy, its defo worth it.
In conclusion, my new monitor has proven to be a valuable addition to my workspace, offering a blend of advanced features and impressive performance. Despite a couple of drawbacks, such as the need for an additional audio cable and the inherent ghosting with the VA panel, the overall experience has been positive. If you’re in the market for a feature-rich monitor with vibrant colours and versatile options, this model is definitely worth considering.
I had never heard of this company, but I have been very impressed with the monitor. I am using it every day, and I have not had a single issue.
I just upgraded my PC and it needed a monitor with HDMI – this was cheap, so I took a chance on it and it does just what it needed to do! Very pleased.
– 4 stars as I dislike the menu and the button position
– Image quality is extremely good
– Colors, beautiful
After about a month of using it it is solid, it might need a few tinkering and tweaking to get it to your comfort level but its a fantastic monitor and it does what it says. The HDR looks amazing but you will need to tweak it a little bit in windows and nvidia settings to get it look good. In terms of Freesync and Gsync it has it. You just need to turn on freesync premium in the monitor menu and nvidia control panel will immediately detect a gsync compatible monitor and u can turn it on, and it works.
One thing i did notice on the monitor which is kinda cool and very efficient, was that if the brightness was just a bit too high and u didnt notice, the monitor would dim ever so slightly to not damage the display or your eyes, i later turned the brightness down and the diming stopped.
In conclusion its a good option for the money that i payed for this monitor but if you still have doubts about it, i dont blame you. Koorui is a Chinese company that features its monitors in E-Sports events. Do as you please with that information but as for my experience, its a great monitor.
In terms of picture quality- it far exceeds its price range. Backlight bleed is a lot less noticeable than some high end ips screens I’ve used in the past. I enabled the lowest pixel overdrive setting and have experienced no ghosting issues when running the monitor at 170hz. However the colour accuracy is a bit iffy and I cannot get it to perfectly match my secondary asus monitor- however I suppose that’s to be expected when using multiple monitors from different brands.
I haven’t used the onboard speakers so I cannot really comment on their quality.
All in all- this is a monitor that far exceeds it’s price range with only one real complaint: when the monitor is in standby mode- the led indicator flashes and is relatively quite bright. Because I keep my computer in my bedroom it means I have to fully power down the monitor at the end of the day or else I cannot sleep with that flashing light directly in my fov. However like I said- this can be mitigated by merely powering off the display and accepting the few extra seconds it will take to power it on the next day.

Bought to replace a really old model that I was using on my workhorse PC (used for just writing and general work). I have not done any gaming so I cannot attest to how well that works; I use my main television for my gaming TV and XBOX.
It was delivered the day after ordering it which was good but on the downside the box it came in displayed exactly what was in the box. Not a big deal for me as it wasn’t that expensive but some people may not want others to know what is being delivered.
It was well packaged and presented but I did not get the little leaflet stating how to fix the stand in place but it only took me a few minutes to figure that out. Once set up it was very stable.
The picture quality is excellent and colour saturation is perfect (at least for me anyway).
I would have liked one with built-in speakers but sadly that was not within my meager budget, alas the constraints of being old and jobless.
Conclusions
It is a decent budget monitor at an excellent price, if you are looking for a decent monitor for everyday work (and maybe occasional gaming) then this is for you but if you are looking for a 4K gaming monitor then keep looking as this will not be your best choice.
It’s Ideal for everyday tasks displaying pictures and text excellently.
Hope this review helps
I do not generally give 1 or 5 stars, as to me 1= kneejerk reaction and 5= paid for (generally). For me to give 5 stars the product would have to be exceptional. (Or they could send freebies LOL)
Lots of adjustment, nice selection of ports 2 x HDMI 1 x DP.
Although frame is very thin, top and 2 sides have around a 6mm black border but it’s not too bad that it would annoy you.
Picture is very good but I haven’t tested it with intensive modern games as that isn’t it’s intended use.
Only negative comment I can make is that I didn’t realise it came with a power brick so monitor connector is a barrel jack and not a 3 pin kettle lead type. Not sure what will happen in the future if that goes fubar, maybe I’m concerning myself over nothing.
I bought this monitor as an upgrade from a 1080p, 24″, 75hz monitor and i can confidently say the picture quality and refresh rate performs beyond my expectations for the price (paid 144 pounds on sale).
Pros:
– Amazing quality (95 brightness, 75-80 contrast). Take a look at the image i attached, although it doesn’t do it justice.
– 144hz and freesync works amazing, at least in the games i play.
– While the screen doesn’t reach the bezels, it is still large enough and much better then my previous monitor.
– Truer Blacks, see attached image, where the monitor on the left is the KOORUI and the right is my old 75hz, 1080p monitor. It may be hard to see in the image, but the old monitor has washed out blacks, while the KOORUI has much more realistic blacks.
Cons:
– Smearing/Ghosting. Yes, this monitor suffers from this. However, at this price point there will always be some compromise and the smearing is no where near as bad as the reviews say it is. If you use OverDrive, Freesync and increase the contrast a little the smearing is less noticeable. If you really don’t want smearing, go for another monitor but you might be compromising elsewhere by doing so (artifacting/other issues). In my opinion, it’s manageable and I am 100% not complaining at this price point. If this monitor was 250+ then yes, it is bad.
However, the monitor itself is fantastic, really good UI and picture quality is great and over all a great gaming experience with it, if the lines are disregarded.
Strongly recommend if the issue is specific to the monitor I got and not all the monitors of that model.
My son is really happy with this monitor, he uses it with the x box. It performs well, looks good and is very stable.
I now have four of these, they represent great features and value for money
Good little monitor, the quality is visibly worse than my other monitor but my other monitor was 3 times more expensive.
My other monitor is 144hz and it’s easy to see the difference in refresh rate between the two which is neat.
In conclusion: It DOES support 170hz, BUT it’s colours and clarity aren’t as good as a 300+ monitor, HOWEVER for the price point, this monitor is extremely good, I would recommend it to anyone who’s on a budget, very impressed
ALSO – It comes with a Display Port cable
Bought these to finish my gaming setup. Surprised by price and when they arrived was very surprised by quality and build. Very clear and colours jump out at you. Great product well worth the money.
Good screen although has a border at the edges its not seemless.
Only thing I would say is that the stand is not adjustable, so now I need to purchase a stand with some kind of movement … but the monitor itself is great.
Works well, I mistakenly bought this because I didn’t realise my other Koorui monitor was 27 INCH, the only issue is the colour of the monitor is more dulled down compare to my 27IN and I don’t know why but it does the job so I’m too lazy to refund for a bigger size
If you’ve got the money and really care a out your frame rate I don’t suggest this. If you want a monitor that works at a reasonable price this will work.
Graphics are quite good, Great for the price. would recommend
This is a fantastic monitor for the price. I honestly cannot fault it.
Some people are complaining about there being no speakers or audio output. Why would there be? This is a monitor not a TV. It is a screen. Nothing more, nothing less. And a very good screen at that!
Another thing to note it its stand isn’t adjustable, it sits how it its, leaning forwards, so buy you’re self an adjustable stand.
Other than that, it’s really hard to complain about how it feels and plays, other than the misleading name, it’s actually a solid monitor for gaming, would defo recommend.
(Please just don’t lie about the product even someone with minimal computer experience can verify its 144hz)
Fortunately, after a freak cup of tea spillage where my old monitor gradually lost pixels like a spreading disease across the screen I chose to buy this monitor as a replacement.
It arrived with the usual Amazon speedy delivery and was simple to assemble onto the stand provided although I did have to raise it up on a stand to get it to the correct viewing height for a tall person.
As soon as I connected the HDMI cable and turned this new monitor on I realised my old monitor was horrible and should have died sooner!
The picture quality is amazingly sharp, Excel has never looked clearer, Outlook mails are no longer fuzzy, and my PowerPoint slides almost sparkle. I would almost say it is a joy to work for hours with this screen, but my boss might read this and give me more work!
The on screen menu is simple to use and allows me to switch between my desktop and laptop easily.
I am not using this screen for gaming so cannot comment on how amazing the latest first person shoot em up or even Minecraft looks with some crazy powerful graphics card, but it is certainly of a quality that would handle better graphics than I’m using.
I honestly wish I’d bought this screen earlier and would definitely look for a future purchase to match this level of spec.
