Replaced a more famous trademark for this one. Was impressed by the matrix which happened to be even better than the previous brand. I have done my own research in this price category, and couldn’t find anything better. Other than that, good build, wall mounts (or for a stand), stable connection with M2 mac (an extra cable is needed), decent look. Seems to be no sound via DP, not checked other ways. UK power cable and HDMI-HDMI are in the box. Well done.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersPurchased this monitor with some caution as it seemed like too good a deal but really chuffed I did purchase it as the picture was really good after i spend 30 mins adjusting it to my liking via a 4 way button on rear of Monitor. Using DP socket gave me full 165hz straight away. No bad pixels that noticed but will look now and hope none turn up. Quality of colours and screen is really good and my better than the last monitor I purchased over 2 years ago. This monitor is lighter, which is good for this 73 year old to lift around. Be interesting to see how it is working this time next year but I will nip back and leave another review. But, for the moment I’m happy enough to recommend this monitor.

I have only taken this out of the box so far but this is a 22 inch screen (just over 21 inch) and NOT a 24 inch screen as described. It is even labelled as a 24 inch screen on the box!!!

This is a perfect monitor for office work or studying, but it lacks a lot when playing video games. Even with VSync and all the appropriate settings, there is a noticeable ghosting effect that really dulls down the experience of gaming for me. However, it’s affordable, and despite this one issue, I think everything else about the monitor is ideal
for someone who doesn’t want to spend several hundred on a high end monito

So far this monitor is pretty decent and does the job it was meant for. No issues with the monitor itself and it fits to the wall mount we got for it just fine. The only issue we had was We bought it for our sound booth. since it was for the sound booth the PC it was being connected to was in a different room to avoid noise pollution. and so we bought a rather long kettle plug to run power to it. I was shocked when I found the monitor doesn’t use a kettle plug but uses a DC power adapter. So if you need to run power to this over a long distance you will need a DC power extension.

My old monitor had a lot of dead pixels so I needed an upgrade, I decided to just get another 1080p one except get a 144hz version instead of my old 60hz one.

At first, I wasn’t sure if I should go with this monitor as I hadn’t heard of the brand. However, I took the chance on it and it arrived in perfect condition with no issues on arrival.

The monitor is really easy to assemble no screws or tools are needed and feels really well-built. The packing was some of the best I’ve seen as well When I saw how well it was sent knew I’d made a good choice before even opening the box to find it really easy to set up (The stand etc.) and the overall performance of the monitor was a game changer from 60hz.
A display port was included which is great.

The menu is a bit boring but does the job but you aren’t gonna be using it every time so it’s not that big of a deal. I do like the bottom on the back for navigating the whole of the menu tho pretty nice.

Conclusion: If you are just looking to upgrade to 144hz 1080p then this is a great buy with the only major downside being not able to adjust the monitor position (Other than tilt), buying and attaching it to a monitor arm will fix that as the price of the monitor and an arm for it (should you choose to get one) would bring the price up to what the other brands want for just the monitor so easy choice.

    Price when buying: 100

Overall great buy definitely recommend it. 5/5 stars.

After my old monitor died I was on the quick search for a new one!

I had never heard of the brand so naturally was quite sceptical buying the monitor especially with such a high refresh rate for such a low price. however, I am blown away at the quality!

The 165hz works flawlessly, after intending to have this as a “standby” monitor until I could afford something “better” I am so glad I chose it and it now runs as my main screen.

    Pros:
    PRICE!
-You wont get much better than this in terms of quality to price ratio
    Quality
    – The monitor feels very sturdy and I have no worries about any knocks or bumps.
    Easy to set up
    – had this thing plugged and ready in no time!

    Cons:
    Colour
    – Screen colour feels deep / not bright after first plugin, but after going to NVidia control panel and doing slight tweaks easily rectified!
    Angles
    – The stand does not come with the ability to angle the monitor up or down, slightly a problem as I am quite tall so the monitor feels lower down than it should be, however easily rectified by some books under the stand!

I purchased this monitor as a replacement for my old 1080p one. I didn’t need anything fancy as it’s not used for gaming, just work related bits and emails.

The available slots are basic, and the menu is sweet and simple. The colour of the screen is nice and sharp, and most of all, it doesn’t flicker when it’s not actively being used!

For the price I paid, this has been a solid choice (so far).

Bought it in the sale for the low price of 100, and in my opinion you won’t find anything better at that price. The only gripes you could have with it, namely the resolution, tilt / swivel angles, and maybe one or two other minimal things that don’t come to mind straight away, really mean nothing when you’re paying this price. The build quality is great, the design is great, the menus are intuitive. The bezel is slimline and the colours are fantastic, I’ve experienced no ghosting and the frame rate and response times are excellent. You can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a cheap alternative, it beats out many monitors priced above it imo.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter sending back an issue ridden Samsung Odyssey G5 i thought i would take a chance with a brand I’m not familiar with. I checked out a few reviews before buying. I’m so glad i went for it, this hits pretty much the same specs as the g5 (although DP 1.2 instead of 1.4)

For around 100 less this feels like a much better monitor. The stand alone is awesome; tilt, swivel, height adjustment – no need for an expensive monitor stand. I think what’s impressed me the most is the colour calibration, colours are so vivid, they pop!! For a “budget” monitor i couldn’t be happier. 5 stars

You’re not going to get brilliant image quality on this monitor but for close work or analysis it is perfectly adequate.

Has a HDMI and VGA out and the power is a transformer not a regular plug just to bear in mind as it’s plug is bulky and not easy to put on a nextending cable with double rows of sockets.

Really cheap and cheerful. Does the job well for the money.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersTook a punt on this unknown brand but it ticked all my boxes – 34″, 1000R, at least 144hz (it’s 160hz max), height and tilt, and small feet on the stand so that it fits on top of my monitor raiser. The huge pronged stands was the deal breaker for MSI and AOC ones (it would jut over it). The lack of height adjust was the dealbeaker for that Samsung one.

Had it a few weeks now and it’s great. Excellent colours, refresh rate, not noticed any burning or ghosting actually, amazing HDR, settings easier to adjust than on my previous MSI, looks great, small stand yet extremely stable and sturdy, easy height adjust and tilt, no bad pixels. I use Display Port cable (recommended) and my GC is nVidia RTX 3060.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good 1000R curved display with great stand

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI use this with 2 Thunderbolt laptops.

Plugged in, and immediately realised that all my USB-C HDMI dongles are not going to work because they only support HDMI 1.4. Tried with an Ultra cable, and still only got 1080p as max resolution.

I have been relying previously on the thunderbolt or a DP-Alt monitor, and obviously lacks these ports. I think it is understandable given the price. Searched for new USB dongles but found them crazy expensive.

Then I remembered that Thunderbolt supports DP 1.4, and was able to quickly find a Thunderbolt to DP port adapter for only 16 quid.

Next, by default Windows did not recognise HDR. I had to enable Freesync Premium in the OSD, and happy days; HDR support showed up.

Be knowledgeable and prepared to get the right cables to get proper res. But great value for money.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI mostly use this monitor for videos, coding or low profile gaming so I can’t comment on major gaming quality (Although in the little gaming I’ve done with it I’ve noticed no issues), but for general use it is absolutely perfect. The height of the included stand is not adjustable but it has a good range of tilt and a reasonable height which is not an issue. The stand itself is sturdy and easy to install with plenty of instructions included in the box.

The image is clear and the colours appear quite true for regular use. It is bright and has a thin bezel making it a nice piece on a desk even when off. The monitor will not automatically run at 75Hz in Windows and does need to be updated within the settings but it’s a 10 second solution.

The monitor itself came with no dead or bright pixels, with very clear response times and little colour banding.

Overall I would recommend this monitor and would consider purchasing a second in the future.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe monitor is really good, the 165hz refresh rate makes the gaming experience all the more enjoyable, the back design of the monitor make it look good and match up with any gaming setup, no dumb red accents on the front. The menu is really easy to navigate, it automatically changes inputs if you want for example your xbox and pc plugged in, it will change if one of the devices is turned on / off. One bad thing about the monitor is the volume, if you want to use audio passthrough with the monitor, its not that good and its better to use direct connection to pc/ xbox controller/ ps4 etc, unless you use a whole speaker setup. Worth the price considering alternatives from samsung, asus, and others. The addition of custom crosshairs is very useful, Im not very sure on using it in online games where it can pose an advantage, but in PVE and other singleplayer games its great!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe main thing I can say about this monitor is that for anyone who games on just a casual level. The resolution and response is good for most games I play, but loses some of its quality when going over to most detailed games (e.g. FPS games).

The monitor is easy to use and has a simple control panel for easy switching between HDMI inputs.

I would definitely recommend this monitor for any casual gamers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a top quality monitor.

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersKoorui Monitor is on the right!
AOC Monitor is on the left!

Let me just say that for 125 its an okey 1080p 144+Hz monitor, However in my honest opinion (IMHO) there is pros and cons to this monitor and from a laid back general viewing perspective it doesn’t preform all that great, However it does preform very well for gaming which is what its intended purpose is for.

    The Good:
    – Colour contrast is arguably really good.
    – Overdrive @ medium does a really good job at providing good clarity no matter if you achieve 165/144 or 60fps etc
    – Brightness can get really bright. (ONLY on active white windows etc)
    – 165Hz refresh rate.
    – Crosshair options if you’re into that sort of thing

    The Bad:
    – Ambient Backlight isn’t great
    – Viewing angle could be better for an IPS. most likely suffers from the backlight stated above
    – from my understanding there is either none or a very low dynamic contrast ratio meaning shadows in situations are not replicated very well

And with that concluded, All that remains is the material used for the monitor which is a durable solid reinforced plastic, However there is no reinforcement to the monitors attachment point to the stand meaning any sort of desk hit or nudge it will cause it to wobble immensely. The way you turn on the monitor is at the back right of the monitor with an analogy stick, You push in to power on/off, Push up to access the monitors menu, And press down to enable crosshair

The freesync feature and the issues that come along with it are annoying in day to day general usage, in that flickering and random periods of the monitor cutting out and having a black screen for sub 1 second or 1-2 seconds. As well as a slight audio trip which can be quite infuriating. Only disabling freesync premium will this resolve the issue.

For a gaming purpose monitor, it will do just fine!

But in regards to movies and tvshows or any sort of dark space experience the monitor wont preform that great compared to other competitors, Granted other competitors dont have this low of a price for a monitor as you would be looking to spend an additional 30-50 to get better quality.

    :UPDATE:
Previously the first monitor had a stuck green sub-pixel shown in the pictures provided, Which no matter how much i tried to fix with online resources for correcting and testing sub-pixels and dead pixels, it just wouldn’t turn off. So under a week later and one monitor replaced. it has no stuck pixel. the back analog button is far more better to use compared to previous model. maybe this is a new revision monitor as there is not so much wiggle room and flat audible clicks anymore like what i had with the previous monitor.

    Overall 4/5
