This 4K monitor 27 inches is perfect as a television for the small living room.Connect to speakers through a stereo and freeview or amazon fire stick does the job.I don’t want the 43 inch smart television, too big.I can’t find a television under 43 inches that’s not 4K.The picture is great. On off and settings under the monitor.Set up with the stand easy.I sit more than 4ft from this monitor.Picture is great.
The fact that it’s an IPS 165hz monitor for such a price (I’ve bought it for sale as well) makes it probably the best money-quality product on the market. The only real issue that I have with this monitor is the fact that sometimes, if you’re trying to get into BIOS, for an example, the monitor doesn’t turn on fast enough to see whether you actually did this or no, you’ll get the “No signal” message until you reboot your monitor. Sometimes it occurred when I just had to reboot the system. Maybe it was the GPU issue, had an RX570 while was doing all that, perhaps now things would go differently.
I needed to swiftly set up an office space to be used on a short-term basis, and I didn’t want to spend a fortune, as it was coming out of my own pocket. Two monitors were an essential element of that, and I chose these based on budget, size, and reviews. I am not disappointed. The screens are great and far exceed expectations. The images are crisp and clear, with excellent colour tones. They’ve been in use for a couple of months now with no issues at all. Happy to recommend.
Although it doesn’t advertise it, this monitor does support 4k as well and well above 120hz which has been great for my PS5. Only thing to keep in mind is that you’ll have to buy seperate speakers for this.
I don’t use it for gaming so can’t cast any judgement on how good it is for that, but as a work/productivity tool it’s been absolutely brilliant.
Using the Display Port to get 4K and plugged into a MacBook Pro, the visuals are stunning and the amount of space it gives you for multitasking is really eye opening when compared to 2K/QHD monitors (that I was using previously).
The bezels are slightly misleading, the physical border is only 2mm but that’s not the true edge of the screen! It’s more like a 5mm around the edges but that’s a minor issue, especially if you’re only using one monitor.
Honestly best purchase I made,
I’m a midcore raider on a MMO GAME
And have recently started building my own Gaming area after playing on a tv for so long and honestly this has to have been one of the best purchases I’ve made the grathics and everything on this is amazing and very good value for money and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying
Xmas present for my son who said he needed certain specs and this fitted what he needed and my budget for his gaming he loves it only thing to note is it doesn’t have built in speakers so will need to have ones to Connect or no sound
As a computer science student, I don’t think I can get a better deal than this and especially under 80. If u have more requirements please increase ur budget and go for a better monitor. Don’t get ur hopes high on this price point in 2024.
Ill save you rummaging through lots of reviews- here’s the lowdown –
1. Yes – Its 165hz –
2. FHD/IPS are the same – its decent quality, its not OLED but your knew that.
3. For the current price 135 its a steal for the FPS and the nits.
If you’re an enthusiast, yeah you’ll picky inconsequential flaws.
If you want to try 120+ FPS for the first time, you wont be disappointed 😉
Barebones and almost no frills 4K screen at 27 inches, although nice to know HDR is there but I don’t find it useful or pleasing. Cannot comment on speakers but the screen is sharp and quite bright, but not as bright and vibrant as other more well known brands out of the box. The control buttons and OSD are not too fiddly and easy to work out and navigate to make adjustments. The extra pixel density makes most development tasks with a heavily cluttered IDE much more bearable. I’m happy to have moved on from an LG 2K ultrawide and returned to the 16:9 world with this monitor.
Very impressed with Image quality especially with HDR games Diablo 4 looks great Horizon Zero Dawn is stunning the difference is huge. Its a game changer for me. Add to this running at 165hz looks so smooth also a game changer as my old monitor was only 60hz still ultrawide won’t ever go back to normal aspect.
For the average gamer, myself included, this monitor I think provides good value. I also do quite a bit of Photoshop work for my artist wife, and find the colours pretty close to what you get onscreen. One thing I did change was the bulky stand. I now use a desk monitor stand which enables me to position the monitor exactly how I need it, much closer for a start as I use reading glasses.
One issue that took me a while to figure out is I kept getting a red box with white lettering top left of the screen saying shutdown would occur after so many seconds. At first I thought this was a Windows 10 power setting issue however, pressing the menu button on the monitor for the first time led me to seeing it was actually a monitor power setting, which was easy to turn off. So I recommend you check the menu when you first set up the monitor. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase.
Great budget monitor. The monitor looks really nice and as someone who’s not really into gaming it’s a perfect choice. Theres only a slight difference from my expensive gaming monitor hooked to my pc.
Only downside is sometimes a few pixels will go green but it’s an easy fix i just have to re-adjust the hdmi or simply turn it on and off but i think this may be because the way i’ve wrapped the cables or to do with my PS5
Overall i definitely recommend as a secondary or budget monito
Great monitor, beautiful picture and colour for the start of a set up, however it has no audio which can be irritating, that might be specified but i’m not sure
As a basic 27″ monitor, works perfectly. Productivity apps and web work well with clear text. Games scroll without any obvious smearing, reasonable contract and colours look pleasing. Good refresh rate and works perfectly either as a screen for a set top box or for Mac (and PC). Only slight negative is that I needed to add a separate computer speaker as screen only has audio out jack. Overall, pleased with purchase, especially given the price.
Works well and is good value for money, the picture isn’t perfect though some of the blacks and colour isn’t represented as well like in higher quality specs, but you get what you pay for and this isn’t bad. It looked much better with contrast/brightness set to full and selecting a decent color scheme (for mac os) good luck with that!
Prtetty sure it doesn’t have 1-2m/s response time (6?) but I’m not a boom headshot gamer so not an issue. HUGE improvement in the desktop – and no problems now being cabled into the 4k TV – and nice to be able to stream stuff in 4k. I should have got one ages ago
I would say this is a great screen for the price – only a couple of things that I found –
1) It took me ages to find the on off button – which I expected to see on the frame as you would normally or underneath the front of the frame but there are a few oblong buttons at the back and because the indentations for on off / colour etc are all black on black its difficult to see which buttons you should pressing.
Only other thing was that my screen at least, came without the static plastic sheet you usually find on a new screen – nothing there – I thought it was maybe really stuck on because there does seem to be a frame that looks like the edge of a plastic sheet but after trying to pick at it for a long time realised it’s probably just a matt screen and its all part of the pattern.
I would have liked a glossy screen instead of matt, because the image does feel sharper, but I’m mainly using the screen to extend my laptop screen and watch a bit of youtube in the background during the quiet times in my workday – so again, can’t complain at all – pretty happy!
I also got the 22inch and for me it seems the right size for what I need to work with on a daily basis – big enough for my desk – but not too big that its overpowering.
1. The 165Hz is only reserved for the display port if you’re using an HDMI cable then you’ll be stuck with 120Hz
2. The light cannot be turned off and will start pulsing when the display is not connected. Might be annoying if you’re going to sleep as it is quite bright. You can turn off the display at which point it will turn off.
3. Turning off the display is not as responsive as it should be. Usually requires me to push the bottom twice.
4. Wake up time not as fast takes like three seconds. This is when using HDMI, can’t comment on the display port.
Overall it’s a great display for the price point and will be used for years to come. Finally I’d recommend getting a VESA mount for it.
My old monitor had a lot of dead pixels so I needed an upgrade, I decided to just get another 1080p one except get a 144hz version instead of my old 60hz one.
At first, I wasn’t sure if I should go with this monitor as I hadn’t heard of the brand. However, I took the chance on it and it arrived in perfect condition with no issues on arrival.
The monitor is really easy to assemble no screws or tools are needed and feels really well-built. The packing was some of the best I’ve seen as well When I saw how well it was sent knew I’d made a good choice before even opening the box to find it really easy to set up (The stand etc.) and the overall performance of the monitor was a game changer from 60hz.
A display port was included which is great.
The menu is a bit boring but does the job but you aren’t gonna be using it every time so it’s not that big of a deal. I do like the bottom on the back for navigating the whole of the menu tho pretty nice.
Conclusion: If you are just looking to upgrade to 144hz 1080p then this is a great buy with the only major downside being not able to adjust the monitor position (Other than tilt), buying and attaching it to a monitor arm will fix that as the price of the monitor and an arm for it (should you choose to get one) would bring the price up to what the other brands want for just the monitor so easy choice.
Price when buying: 100
Overall great buy definitely recommend it. 5/5 stars.
You’re not going to get brilliant image quality on this monitor but for close work or analysis it is perfectly adequate.
Has a HDMI and VGA out and the power is a transformer not a regular plug just to bear in mind as it’s plug is bulky and not easy to put on a nextending cable with double rows of sockets.
Really cheap and cheerful. Does the job well for the money.
Took a punt on this unknown brand but it ticked all my boxes – 34″, 1000R, at least 144hz (it’s 160hz max), height and tilt, and small feet on the stand so that it fits on top of my monitor raiser. The huge pronged stands was the deal breaker for MSI and AOC ones (it would jut over it). The lack of height adjust was the dealbeaker for that Samsung one.
Had it a few weeks now and it’s great. Excellent colours, refresh rate, not noticed any burning or ghosting actually, amazing HDR, settings easier to adjust than on my previous MSI, looks great, small stand yet extremely stable and sturdy, easy height adjust and tilt, no bad pixels. I use Display Port cable (recommended) and my GC is nVidia RTX 3060.
I bought this screen as a secondary monitor to go along with my primary one (LG 27GL83A-B). The reason I chose this screen was just to have uniformity between the two monitors.
That being said, I’m absolutely blown away with the quality of this screen in comparison to my LG, especially when taking into account the difference in price. My only real criticism is that the screen isn’t as bright as the LG, but that’s probably due to the VA display.
Honestly, if you’re in the market for a 27″ 144hz 1440p monitor you can’t go wrong with this screen.
This product is amazing and very sleeky. Nice curvature with flexible controls. The resolution is just perfect at 165HZ and aspect ratio of 21:9. Perfect for work and gaming (multi-purpose). Also, the adjustment and tilt are just pretty cool
Plugged in, and immediately realised that all my USB-C HDMI dongles are not going to work because they only support HDMI 1.4. Tried with an Ultra cable, and still only got 1080p as max resolution.
I have been relying previously on the thunderbolt or a DP-Alt monitor, and obviously lacks these ports. I think it is understandable given the price. Searched for new USB dongles but found them crazy expensive.
Then I remembered that Thunderbolt supports DP 1.4, and was able to quickly find a Thunderbolt to DP port adapter for only 16 quid.
Next, by default Windows did not recognise HDR. I had to enable Freesync Premium in the OSD, and happy days; HDR support showed up.
Be knowledgeable and prepared to get the right cables to get proper res. But great value for money.
I’ve been using this monitor now for a tad over 1 month. Love it!
This is a solid monitor for those that was simplicity, affordability and still want that 144ghz monitor referesh rate which can definitly make the difference in games!
For me it does and with that said, i must state that i use a DPI cable to make sure i get the best feature and quality of this monitor!
I mostly use this monitor for videos, coding or low profile gaming so I can’t comment on major gaming quality (Although in the little gaming I’ve done with it I’ve noticed no issues), but for general use it is absolutely perfect. The height of the included stand is not adjustable but it has a good range of tilt and a reasonable height which is not an issue. The stand itself is sturdy and easy to install with plenty of instructions included in the box.
The image is clear and the colours appear quite true for regular use. It is bright and has a thin bezel making it a nice piece on a desk even when off. The monitor will not automatically run at 75Hz in Windows and does need to be updated within the settings but it’s a 10 second solution.
The monitor itself came with no dead or bright pixels, with very clear response times and little colour banding.
Overall I would recommend this monitor and would consider purchasing a second in the future.
So far so good.
I had a hard time deciding on a monitor for some casual gaming, but this one does the job well. The settings is easy to figure out, everything looks visually great.
I definitely recommend it.
The monitor is really good, the 165hz refresh rate makes the gaming experience all the more enjoyable, the back design of the monitor make it look good and match up with any gaming setup, no dumb red accents on the front. The menu is really easy to navigate, it automatically changes inputs if you want for example your xbox and pc plugged in, it will change if one of the devices is turned on / off. One bad thing about the monitor is the volume, if you want to use audio passthrough with the monitor, its not that good and its better to use direct connection to pc/ xbox controller/ ps4 etc, unless you use a whole speaker setup. Worth the price considering alternatives from samsung, asus, and others. The addition of custom crosshairs is very useful, Im not very sure on using it in online games where it can pose an advantage, but in PVE and other singleplayer games its great!
The main thing I can say about this monitor is that for anyone who games on just a casual level. The resolution and response is good for most games I play, but loses some of its quality when going over to most detailed games (e.g. FPS games).
The monitor is easy to use and has a simple control panel for easy switching between HDMI inputs.
I would definitely recommend this monitor for any casual gamers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a top quality monitor.
Just had Delivery to-day so not much feedback yet. just to say that many people tend to Discard or not look at the instruction booklet,, just take a little time to read it before starting to set it up,, after reading Instructions I Had it all set up in 15mins So far i am very happy with this product no problems yet but it’s early days. no height adjustment but tilt makes up for that so you don’t need height adjustment but that’s depending on how big or small your desk is,,, Finally for now i’m pleased with the purchase and very good value for money,,,, so much so that i’m thinking of getting a second one for my son HAPPY DAYS…. I’m not a gamer so hence the 3 stars.
Koorui Monitor is on the right!
AOC Monitor is on the left!
Let me just say that for 125 its an okey 1080p 144+Hz monitor, However in my honest opinion (IMHO) there is pros and cons to this monitor and from a laid back general viewing perspective it doesn’t preform all that great, However it does preform very well for gaming which is what its intended purpose is for.
The Good:
– Colour contrast is arguably really good.
– Overdrive @ medium does a really good job at providing good clarity no matter if you achieve 165/144 or 60fps etc
– Brightness can get really bright. (ONLY on active white windows etc)
– 165Hz refresh rate.
– Crosshair options if you’re into that sort of thing
The Bad:
– Ambient Backlight isn’t great
– Viewing angle could be better for an IPS. most likely suffers from the backlight stated above
– from my understanding there is either none or a very low dynamic contrast ratio meaning shadows in situations are not replicated very well
And with that concluded, All that remains is the material used for the monitor which is a durable solid reinforced plastic, However there is no reinforcement to the monitors attachment point to the stand meaning any sort of desk hit or nudge it will cause it to wobble immensely. The way you turn on the monitor is at the back right of the monitor with an analogy stick, You push in to power on/off, Push up to access the monitors menu, And press down to enable crosshair
The freesync feature and the issues that come along with it are annoying in day to day general usage, in that flickering and random periods of the monitor cutting out and having a black screen for sub 1 second or 1-2 seconds. As well as a slight audio trip which can be quite infuriating. Only disabling freesync premium will this resolve the issue.
For a gaming purpose monitor, it will do just fine!
But in regards to movies and tvshows or any sort of dark space experience the monitor wont preform that great compared to other competitors, Granted other competitors dont have this low of a price for a monitor as you would be looking to spend an additional 30-50 to get better quality.
:UPDATE:
Previously the first monitor had a stuck green sub-pixel shown in the pictures provided, Which no matter how much i tried to fix with online resources for correcting and testing sub-pixels and dead pixels, it just wouldn’t turn off. So under a week later and one monitor replaced. it has no stuck pixel. the back analog button is far more better to use compared to previous model. maybe this is a new revision monitor as there is not so much wiggle room and flat audible clicks anymore like what i had with the previous monitor.

The fact that it’s an IPS 165hz monitor for such a price (I’ve bought it for sale as well) makes it probably the best money-quality product on the market.
The addition of custom crosshairs is very useful, Im not very sure on using it in online games where it can pose an advantage, but in PVE and other singleplayer games its great!
works well, steady , controls ok when you get used to them. nice and bright ,good colours.
just a little dear for it i think
Overall 4/5
