A reasonable screen considering the price and would not be difficult to carry all day.
I am not really a typical user , all I wanted was a portable Windows laptop to run some Morse Code training program so I could take it in garden etc.
Have been Mac for well over a decade and only had some old Win 7 desktop hulks in attic !
It looks great, sleek, light weight and compact. It’s battery life is good. The keyboard is ok.
The single stupid point in its design is the power button being a part of the normal keyboard (top right) instead of being isolated. This does make it easy to accidently switch out off.
It comes with Windows11S but can be freely changed to Windows 11 Home via the MS App Store.
The low price is reflected by the dull screen that has a narrow angle of view, limited memory and the weak CPU.
Buy this if you want a highly portable PC for simple office tasks; browsing, emails, document writing, etc. It’s good at that.
If speed or performance rates anywhere in your requirements, get something more expensive.
Looks great easy to use very fast arrived next day easy set up .
I’ve not used that much, but it does the job I wanted to do simple stuff keyboard looks like he’s laid out for a 10-year-old but thats nothing very pleased with i
It’s good quality for the price brought for my 12 Yr old Grandson to do his home work .
I adore this laptop it does exactly what I need it to do and then some. It’s lightweight sleek and has a nice touch keyboard. It’s great for working on the move and at home. It’s modern and excellent value for money I highly recommend this produc
Other than those annoyances, so far it has good battery life and I’m mostly happy with my purchase.
This was a gift for student grandson . He is delighted with it’s straightforward performance
Excellent company to buy from Excellent communications and highly recommend TEKshop to anyone wanting to by a laptop or computer.
Can’t praise the company enough.
We had been looking for a Laptop for my son. This suits his needs well, good for the price. Can’t comment on the camera that hasn’t been used yet.
Nice little laptop only had a couple of day’s but quality seems good bought for myself
I have found that the 64gb onboard soon starts looking pretty ful, once. good AV (Norton) and Office are taking most of what used to be a HDD but now it’s solid state.
Backup your files every say (transfer rates are very good. Then once again use a USB DVD writer to burn the documents, ( take a full copy of your files, not the Applications. From then on write a small *.bat file to only copy files added, *.doc .ppt presentations or modified, and so on, just for peace of mind. I can’t fault it but alonside my i7 machine it does “appear” to be a lot slower.
NB. the subsequent file copy will be much much faster and take a tiny amount of solid state used.
I copy my files to a micro SD card rather than to the “hdd” I use a Samsung 128gb (has to be class 10 btw) and use the date as a label for each backup (eg 221168) it saves time when looking for something that you added months ago. (all of this can be done from the command line so Windows doesn’t get involved and it’s way faster) Examples of these command line scripts litter the Internet.
*** use xcopy and the correct switches – if you type xcopy ? a list will appear, just take which line you want add it to, I call my backup.bat yes original I know) If you have any problems try microsoft’s support pages on the Internet).
Windows 10/11 easy to use and upgrade connected to internet straight away with router code and then proceeded to load windows then upgraded to Win11. I found this very easy. It has Wi/Fi so no cables involved. I only use this as a back up for my desk top comp.
Battery life is ok for light to normal use. As with most laptops you need to place it on a space which allows the fan to kick in at the back to help with cooling its not to loud so you wont disturb the neighbours :-). I have not used this for gaming as I don’t believe it is powerful enough for that. But that is not tried. Overall a very good laptop having tried others I settled on this for price and performance.
