I love this! Ideal, lightweight and easy to travel with.
My daughter is happy with this for her studies:) Thanks x
Happy with product will help daughter do homework which is what we purchased it fo
Bought 2 of these laptops, they work great just what i required. These laptops are greay for anyone who want hours of batterlife and a great overall user experience.
Would highly recommend!!!
Nice machine, lightweight and lovely colour. It was easy to set up, took a few minutes, then it was good to go. It comes with Windows and Microsoft 365. I bought it mainly for creating documents and doing a bit of office work. It’s perfect for that. It’s not a gaming pc by any means, but great for everything else. I’d highly recommend. It managed to get it when on an Amazon deal so we’ll worth the money.
When this first arrived it wanted to update, so I duly left it to do so. Unfortunately when finished it would not boot & I had no option but to reset it & start again.
The second time all went well & it is running Windows 11 & Office with no problems.
I have used it for accounts. Also to make ‘Order of Service’ cards for my Mum’s funeral. It managed to cope with all the graphics; though it did occasionally say memory was low.
Games as yet I am unsure of.
One fault I have detected is it will not always pick up my external hard drive. After a bit of investigation I believe this is a Windows 11 fault. This can apparently be rectified as & when I get time.
If you want a low budget machine this certainly does the job.
This is my sixth laptop, and in all honesty I think it’ll be the one that I will get the most joy out of using. I bought it as a last resort as the one I would have gone for (and my first choice) from Argos – an Acer blue 14-inch model – kept coming up on their shopping app as out of stock each time, which was little short of frustrating. So it was eventually out with the Acer and I decided to go for this Lenovo instead.
One thing I have discovered since buying this laptop is that yes, there is truth in the rumour that installing third-party anti-virus protection software DOES slow your computer down after all, and so having suffered this particular problem many times I made the decision not to do so with this machine, and so far there haven’t been any issues with the performance whatsoever in that it’s been brilliant. I also made the choice to downsize to a 14-inch screen as the last Windows computer I used had a 15.6-inch display and that felt maybe just a little too big, that plus the larger keyboard had keys I never used at all.
Although it doesn’t quite have a full HD-quality screen in that that the resolution is only 1366x720p it looks good, feels smooth to the touch and the keyboard is super responsive. As someone who had never used a Lenovo product before buying this and having used it now for three months, I can safely say it was a wise decision and a worthy purchase.
Bought to use for personal use at home good value for money
My son is in Year 11 at school doing his GCSEs and uses a laptop for his work as he has dyspraxia and has difficulty using a pen for sustained periods.
We got this Lenovo purely based on price as we had returned a poor Iota laptop which we had to return. Amazon refunded our original 130 and I had to put a bit extra to get this. It is the 14″ version in ice blue. It was actually 20 cheaper than the 11.6″ version, but having the extra screen dimension is great and the weight is probably less than the Iota 11.6″ laptop we returned.
This has 4GB RAM and a small 64GB EMMC drive, which has been fast and reliable. Quiet too. The screen is HD and looks great and the bundled 1 year sub to Office 365 Personal has been invaluable for his school work.
It is fast to boot and shut down and has connected to printers, bluetooth speakers/headphones without any issues at all. Although it is obviously made to a price point, the build quality is far superior than I would have expected for around 150. It has Windows 10 on it too, which was important for us as he has had a Chromebook in the past, but didn’t get on with it particularly well.
The keyboard layout is UK, so and @ are where you expect them to be.
No, it’s not the fastest laptop, but he is only using it for Office, browsing the Internet and using YouTube. He did install the Netflix app and it works perfectly.
We’ve had it for a few weeks now and it hasn’t updated itself to Windows 11, despite installing a few updates. Fine by us.
Impressive for the money.
