I bought it for my mother because she needs it to watch YouTube only. My first impression is that the CPU seems to be very weak in 2022/24 standard. Right after unboxing and after charging fully it stuttered / lagged. The battery life is Ok. I guess you get what you pay for.
If you have the tablet on a stand it is a little difficult to use the volume buttons as they are on the left hand side (ok if you’re left-handed I guess)
Not the best for battery life
But…
Picture quality is very good
Nice and lightweight
Price good
Screen is very responsive, CPU is quick enough for the type of games kids play, and the main camera is clear enough to take goods enough shots for the kids!
Recommended if you’re after a good solid Tablet for you child…..
The screen and picture quality are just fabulous, and it was so easy to set up. Not sure that the battery life is quite as advertised, but only had it about a week so quite difficult to be certain.
Bought to be used solely as a kitchen TV. The old Asus packed up, this was much cheaper and does the job intended well enough. The sound quality is ok, not as good as the Asus, but fair enough given the price.
Very happy overall. It did take us a few days to get use to a different make of tablet as we’ve always used the same make. Due to the cost I wanted to try a different make and Very glad I did. Good battery life. It runs fast and smooth. Screen quality very clear, camera good for quick snaps with the family. Charging point feels strong so shouldn’t brake easily if a child runs off with it still connected.
Definitely buy again.
I purchased this tablet as a replacement to my older Huawei Mediapad. I wanted something cheap but Android and preferably a recognised brand. The tablet I use is purely for media content consumption with Netflix, Prime Video, Sports and the occasional web browsing being the only things it is used for. The Lenovo Tab M10 fit this perfectly with the screen size and specs to improve on my older Huawei.
Overall a brilliant product at a great price
I had a lenovo for a number of years, and was happy with it so when the screen got damaged and it started to get slow I replaced it with a identical model but with more storage. It’s not easy to use, I bought this for my technofobe wife and it’s not the same. It’s also a bit slippy to hold.
Lenovo is definitely a step up from another common Amazon budget tablet. Cough cough. These seem to have more longevity, less glitchy, stronger charging ports. This Lenovo and it’s 8″ version seem to load apps slightly slower though. Overall we are very happy with Lenovo products.
This tablet would be best for simple apps that don’t require a great deal of processing power like kids apps, writing, painting, reading certainly not for heavy gaming.
I’ve had a couple of well known brands of tablets and this one has been the better one especially at a pinch of the price!
I originally purchased my partner one for a Christmas present and was that impressed I traded in the tablet I was using at the time and got enough money back to afford one of these brand new, win win!
I would say I find this tablet easier to use and I have double the storage which I was running out off on my old tablet.
I think the only negative is the battery life you’ll probably need to charge it once a day depending obviously how much you use it
But why pay in some cases close to 1000 when you can buy one at the 10th of the price that does pretty much exactly the same apart from maybe taking amazing photos?(camera isn’t that bad either btw)
My sister and I bought this for our mum for Xmas to replace her laptop. She only used her laptop for a few bingo apps and a bit of social media browsing…but as is the case with laptops, it’s become very slow due to endless Windows updates and the battery life is awful. Its also a bit too cumbersome for her requirements, so we thought a tablet would be better for her. We plumped for this model as we wanted to get a well known brand but didn’t want to pay through the tooth. As I say, there were cheaper Android based tablets, but from unheared if brands. Knowing Lenovo as I do, we got this model…and am very happy with it. Being and Android based device, it allows her to use it for exactly what she needs it for and is easy to use. She is pleased with it, and so are we.
But what arrived was the TB-X505, which seems to be in fact a 1st Gen version as it only has a 2.0Ghz processor, whereas the newer version TB-X306 has a fast processor…
Maybe the research I have done is flawed, time will tell as when I go to get a cover, as there is a different type for each Generation made.
I am technically challenged and would ask Lenovo to produce and include an idiot’s guide on how to use. It does apparently does a lot but I personally am finding it hard to navigate and use to its full potential, but saying that compared to my last tablet it’s screen clarity, speed and sound are excellent and great value for money – at least it will be when I’ve figured it all out.
I bought this because I was sick of my Amazon Fire tablet constantly ‘Firing’ adverts at me (on my screen lock screen and the app screen. Also the Amazon Tablet isn’t Android it’s more AMdroid.) This Lenovo Tablet is great apart from one small thing the battery life is VERY short if you want to binge watch a series you will need to keep it plugged in (this ruins the battery memory) If you just want it to be able to check emails whilst away from your pc then it’s ok.
After I initially set it up, for my limited needs ( I’m an old guy recovering from cancer ), the tablet automatically upgraded itself to Android 10! I was very impressed. What I like most about it, is the sound quality of the speakers. I will mainly be using my new tablet for radio stations and listening to Spotify and watching You Tube videos, plus searching on Google for information, and checking emails.
The battery is giving me all day use, which I like. Other than that, I’m extremely pleased with my purchase. I’m not a computer expert, but I like the stuff I’m able to do.
I got this to replace an Amazon Fire which my wife dislikes – too few Apps and some websites don’t work well with it.
I have used Lenovo computers for work for years and love them so this tablet seemed a good choice offered at 110 (32GB). It’s pure vanilla Android and all the better for that. It seems fast and, of course, the full range of Android apps (not limited by Amazon).
I can’t say it’s the best “cheap” tablet (I have no experience of others) but I think it is a strong contender.
