I bought this to replace a now 8 year old Lenovo A10 which has given excellent service. It still works fine but unfortunately the Android 4.4 has increasingly become unable to use many (but not all) apps as they have updated.
So I decided to stick with Lenovo and get the M10 as a replacement & am very happy.
It’s quick & responsive, the screen is good & the sound is excellent. Great storage even without the 256GB SD card I’ve put in.
Very, very pleased with it…
Bought to be used solely as a kitchen TV. The old Asus packed up, this was much cheaper and does the job intended well enough. The sound quality is ok, not as good as the Asus, but fair enough given the price.
Very happy overall. It did take us a few days to get use to a different make of tablet as we’ve always used the same make. Due to the cost I wanted to try a different make and Very glad I did. Good battery life. It runs fast and smooth. Screen quality very clear, camera good for quick snaps with the family. Charging point feels strong so shouldn’t brake easily if a child runs off with it still connected.
Definitely buy again.
I had a lenovo for a number of years, and was happy with it so when the screen got damaged and it started to get slow I replaced it with a identical model but with more storage. It’s not easy to use, I bought this for my technofobe wife and it’s not the same. It’s also a bit slippy to hold.
Lenovo is definitely a step up from another common Amazon budget tablet. Cough cough. These seem to have more longevity, less glitchy, stronger charging ports. This Lenovo and it’s 8″ version seem to load apps slightly slower though. Overall we are very happy with Lenovo products.
This tablet would be best for simple apps that don’t require a great deal of processing power like kids apps, writing, painting, reading certainly not for heavy gaming.
I’ve had a couple of well known brands of tablets and this one has been the better one especially at a pinch of the price!
I originally purchased my partner one for a Christmas present and was that impressed I traded in the tablet I was using at the time and got enough money back to afford one of these brand new, win win!
I would say I find this tablet easier to use and I have double the storage which I was running out off on my old tablet.
I think the only negative is the battery life you’ll probably need to charge it once a day depending obviously how much you use it
But why pay in some cases close to 1000 when you can buy one at the 10th of the price that does pretty much exactly the same apart from maybe taking amazing photos?(camera isn’t that bad either btw)
I read thoroughly the details including the additional Lenovo details which stated that this was a 2nd gen model…
But what arrived was the TB-X505, which seems to be in fact a 1st Gen version as it only has a 2.0Ghz processor, whereas the newer version TB-X306 has a fast processor…
Maybe the research I have done is flawed, time will tell as when I go to get a cover, as there is a different type for each Generation made.
I got this to replace an Amazon Fire which my wife dislikes – too few Apps and some websites don’t work well with it.
I have used Lenovo computers for work for years and love them so this tablet seemed a good choice offered at 110 (32GB). It’s pure vanilla Android and all the better for that. It seems fast and, of course, the full range of Android apps (not limited by Amazon).
I can’t say it’s the best “cheap” tablet (I have no experience of others) but I think it is a strong contender.
Ready to use and set up. Think of it as a large Android ‘phone (which in essence it is. So will accept SIM I believe). Got it on what must have been a deal as a tad more expensive now. Have had it a month and though not heavy use, including setting up etc, still on first charge. Bluetooth to keyboard (c/w case) and have a wireless mouse via dongle attached and working too, if this important. Processor is fast and actions smooth. Screen clarity touch sensitivity are also good. For what is essentially a 100 tablet, it can’t really be faulted.
