Purchased from Amazon Warehouse which stated condition was “Very Good”, this was an accurate assessment of the condition, it took me a while to find a mark/scratch on it and once I put a screen protector on it, you probably won’t even see it.
Works great! Perhaps it’s not a newest Amoled touch screen with latest Android and powerful processor core even doesn’t play 60fps 4K as I’ve checked already, but once you have learned all the functions is just perfecto! I was a bit worried to buy low performance tablet but when I familiarised with this one, I feel great. For me a good purchase for my needs, and a great bargain saved a lot .
THe battery life is good on it as as well
Great bargin for the price
I only use it for relatively simple tasks, checking social media, the occasional word document, and reading magazines with the Readly app and it does this perfectly – fast enough for my needs, no lag, and a nice sized easy on the eye screen. With a USB C port to boot, I rate it as the perfect tablet at this price range.
The size is really good for watching TV/movies. I have large man hands and it is comfortable for me. Might be a bit big for dainty people.
It’s simple and relatively free of bloatware. Decent amount of storage.
I bought this after a lot of looking around and found alternatives very underwhelming….. Use to love Sony tablets so it was new ground to look at something Lenovo.
I shouldn’t have worried as this is a very high quality tablet with a clear screen, good battery life and it’s very fluid in use.
Surprised by the quality when I pulled it of the box, very smart and almost a shame I had to give it to my son!
Pros:
It performs well overall, handling multiple apps running simultaneously, and switches well. The Android 10 experience is great and there doesn’t seem to be much/any Lenovo bloatware.
It spends most of the time plugged in (in battery saving mode – great feature!) and mounted on a bracket, but the battery life is good enough on the times when I’ve taken it elsewhere.
Cons:
It doesn’t seem to handle being unplugged while streaming media well, it often crashes the app and sometimes the tablet crashes and reboots. The WiFi antenna also doesn’t seem to have as good a range in the house compared to other devices.
It’s not very useful outside on a sunny day as the screen brightness can’t keep up. It can also reflect a lot of the background in bright-ish ambient light.
The speakers aren’t as good as product reviews might lead you to expect; the sound is tinny and not very loud. I’ve used a Bluetooth speaker from day 1.
My needs are simple – browsing, music, films and emails while on the go – with the odd office document.
However, I have been caught out before with slow unreliable devices short on memory. This Lenovo M10 Plus 4/64GB device looked to be a good compromise and so it has proved. I am very pleased.
I have added a 256GB micro SD card as “internal” memory and I thus have plenty of room for films and music etc.
The octacore processor is more than adequate for my needs and the IPS display is clear and bright. The device appears to be well made with metal rear casing. The rear 8mp camera isn’t the bee’s knees but meets my needs. Sound is surprisingly good.
The device came ready equipped with Android 10 and no immediate updates were necessary. I am using the face recognition feature which works fine as long as there is sufficient light.
So, all in all, I am rather chuffed. This tablet is reasonable value for money and often saves me lugging a laptop about. It is more than adequate for my purposes – being an excellent cost Vs performance compromise. My wife (an iPad fanatic) was very rather impressed too…
good value for money sometimes can be a bit slow remove the junk and all is well i got the remote key board so i could have the whole screen to look at and that was a good by as well as a good idea.
In general this is great; a super value alternative to the iPad with lots of neat features like facial recognition to open.
BUT… there is a hugely irritating design flaw – the on/off button is right next to the volume toggle. I can’t count the amount of times I’ve turned it off when trying to adjust the volume!
This really irks after a short time and stops me from giving 5 stars.
Thought id update this review to say replacement tablet has been good, no issues, i guess the first wasnt having a good day. Wifi isssues mentioned by others is fixed with the available updates
Overall happy with the tablet and hope it lasts as long as the Samsung!
EDIT – After playing with the new Android 10 update, I can confirm that the sometimes sporadic wireless issues that I and others here have sometimes seen with the previous Android 9 install have now cleared up, and the Android 10 wireless performance is now flawless…
Some gamer guys from Intel recommended this to me from my son who is mad into gaming.
Solid tablet, slim and sleek, heavier than expected.
No complaints so far for gaming, he was having issues with lagging and glitches on his fire but nothing do far on this one. The picture quality is excellent, graphic display clear and bright. I have a 7 yo lenovo tab and hoping that this proves just as good a value purchase as that one did.
In my opinion, this is a best tablet you can buy at that price.
It is funny to note, but for simple tasks like Internet browsing, online shopping or watching videos it is not worse than Apple’s iPad 🙂
One tip: Opera browsers seems to be the best choice to use on this tablet.
I am very meticulous buyer/user, but I am really happy with this device 🙂
Highly recommended.
