This is the only Logitech camera I’ve tried that can correctly adjust to bright background light and dark foreground. Others say they adapt for all light conditions but actually can’t, so top top marks for doing what it says on the tin.
The camera is 1080p at 30fps, and 720p at 60fps, focus is sharp, certainly more than laptop built in 720p only cameras but not the best I’ve seen.
As per the headline – arrived on time to replace an earlier one which appeared to have failed with no video output.
However, further testing of the both cameras showed that the problem was actually that, somehow, the Win 10 “permissions” for the PC had been switched OFF and so the PC could not access the camera video feed -. Switched the permission to ON and then both camera feeds then worked, and therefore I’ll likely send this new one back for a refund as I don’t need 2 cameras!
The quality of the picture is very good with my MacBook Pro. I like the camera blind feature and the microphone seems to work really well. A simple but effective product that worked straight out of the box.
This camera works perfectly to my satisfaction, now I use its microphone for my calls and the video is picture perfect, I love the zoom capability and auto adjust. Best bit for me, is the ability to cover the camera lense using the inbuilt privacy cover. Has transformed my meetings quality.
I use Logitech not just for the hardware but the software that comes with it. Most cams will rely on Windows to install drivers and plug and play, whereas Logitech will take it one step further and give you some decent software too. This particular camera is wide angled so it shows a lot of office background, but the software allows you to control the zoom and position of the image without having to adjust the camera physically. The video quality is amazing as well, and the mic picks up my voice but nothing else, so great for people who have cats sleeping on their desk, who snore a lot. Got one for the wife as she was jealous.
This was plug and play. Simple setup and adapts to sit safely on your monitor. Love the mechanical lens cover – much more reliable than ever-changing settings. No zoom adjustment, unfortunately. Simple, reliable, and easy.
I have been using the camera every day with Teams. It easy to adjust and picture quality is good. The microphone is also very good and I have had no complaints from people not being able to hear me.
Picture way too dark on automatic setting but managed good results on manual. To be fair, there is a window behind me which would confuse the best cameras out there. A separate app is needed for this camera compared with most models in the range which is slightly annoying as I have a second Logitech web cam at work and need to flick between the apps.
Video quality and is good, autofocus isn’t, especially in low light. Fixed manual focus saves the day most of the time though. Also good built-in mic.
This is a great webcam, it is well-designed and looks professional, the video and sound quality is clear at all times, it is easy to set up and attaches easily to the top of a 27″ curved monitor, and the privacy lens is a nice addition too.
Good picture quality in a well lit room. Attaches nicely to my monitor with the rubber grip much better than other web cams I have tried.
The built in camera cover gives peace of mind when not in us.
The only issue I have with it is it makes my face very red up close to it.
Bought for use in my financial planning practice for regular Zoom calls with clients. Immediately I started to get comments from people that the image quality was the best they’d seen on a Zoom call. Plug and play, no software needed to run on my Windows 10 Dell laptop. Recommended.
Brilliant Webcam generally, with excellent features e.g. Compact Design, HD Picture Quality, Colour Correction, Auto-focus, Low-light Conditions and Angle of Field of Vision all brilliant! Long USB Lead also very useful. Only thing is Slight Delay on Movement causing slight latency on Speech and Mouth Movements. Don’t know if is it the Camera or my internet Speed, as I am using it for on-line teaching with Zoom. Also Very useful App, Free to download from the Internet, allowing certain settings to be adjusted!
