I bought this because I was suffering with wrist issues on my old keyboard and mouse. This has cured my wrist problems quite nicely.
It’s a good keyboard but takes some getting used to.
It also has random blank spots when it will not connect to the computer, or repeatedly types the same key until you hit another button. A bit weird but worth the effort.

This keyboard is absolutely amazing. I’m still getting used to it however, it’s made a massive difference in reducing the pain in my wrist. Would highly recommend this keyboard.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI ordered the keyboard with the mouse.

I knew the mouse would be rechargable and i expected the same from the keyboard (due to the price)

Please note the keyboard is powered by 2 AAA bateries and not rechargable.
I have not had it too long, so i cannot comment on the battery life yet.

The keyboard is very comfortable to use. I would definitely recommend it.

I bought this to help me learn touch typing and it worked.
It’s good because the keys are split and stopped me crossing my hands over when typing.
As a result of using this (and the touch typing) I stopped getting wrist pain.

My only issue is the keyboard takes up quite a lot of desk space – I don’t have a permanent desk setup so have to pack it away each day and it’s quite bulky.
I also wish it had internal Bluetooth (like the apple keyboard) and not that dongle thingy, but that’s just me being picky.

I really enjoy using this keyboard and I look forward to having a permanent office and being able to leave this out to use every day.

    I would recommend.

Still getting use to the shape of the layout as it is a bit unsual but I am sure I will in time. Use a normal one at work and this at home. If I was more of a touch typist then might be easier to use. One thing I do like is being able to use on diffrent laptops with a press of a button. I can switch from my works Windows laptop when working from home and my Mac book.

What a difference. I was so worried remote editing & typing for so many hours in a day, I was getting serious pains in hands, fingers, wrists. This has eradicated those completely. I don’t think I could do my job without it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI usually game on a mechanical keyboard in a standard layout and I thought it would be a bit strange to switch to a split ergo keyboard. After nearly developing carpal tunnel in the last year or so, though, I figured I should spend at least half the time I spend on a keyboard (work vs gaming) on an ergonomic one. I can honestly say, it has been no issue switching between my keyboards and I actually really like this one. It has some great QoL things like a button to lock my computer, a button to open the calculator, and the ability to switch between devices I have it connected to at the touch of a button as well is so nice. I picked up the Lift mouse as well to go full ergo and between the pair of them, I couldn’t be happier and my carpal tunnel has noticeably calmed down. I’d definitely recommend this keyboard.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersComing from the Microsoft line of ergonomic keyboards I already have an idea of what I like in a keyboard. I picked this keyboard so I could switch between devices something that the Microsoft offerings still don’t support. Overall I like the keyboard but I hate that the application menu button is above the num pad and not in line with the space bar like of other keyboards. It would be nice to be able to program other keys, or just even to replace the FN key with something else because I don’t use it.

This product is exactly what I was looking for in an ergonomic keyboard. It has adjustable heights, syncs well with windows devices, excellent battery life and soft touch keys.

    Highly recommended

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought this, probably like many others, after suffering an onset of keyboard+mouse related RSI. As a tech worker I’m no stranger to RSI, in fact I use several techniques to avoid it, such as using an ambidextrous mouse and regularly switching hands. I was using a good quality mechanical keyboard (Ducky One Two) before I switched to this, so wasn’t sure how good it would be in comparison.

First impressions were good – the whole unit is nicely curved and solid, but not overly heavy. The fabric-like material on the wrist rest is comfortable and stays cool during long periods of use. It did take a small while for me to get used to the flatter keys after using the Ducky, but now that I am, I can type quickly and accurately on it. The wrist rest holds your wrists quite high, which can feel odd at first, but it quickly becomes comfortable.

The angle it holds your wrists at is far better than standard straight keyboards. I’m writing this review on a laptop and can already feel my wrists missing the better position of the logitech. It stops the slight ‘bending inwards’ that your wrists do without realising, and lets your wrists, arms, and elbows relax more.

It pairs quickly to the logtech receivers with an encrypted connection, and I can easily share it between 2 computers by tapping the ‘1’ or ‘2’ device keys to switch between them. The lack of wires means I can just lift it to my other desk and carry on typing.

Overall, I’d highly recommend this even (especially!) if you aren’t suffering from RSI right now. In my experience, RSI creeps up over weeks/months, and then takes weeks/months to go away. So taking steps to stop it early by investing in a keyboard like this can only be a good thing.

I have painful hands and wrists, this keyboard really helped with reducing stress to my fingers and wrists. I used one years ago and was surprised how quickly my muscle memory kicked in and I got used to the new style of key board. Highly recommended

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCouldn’t wait to get my hands on one of these keyboards having used an ergonomic keyboard for years on Windows machines. By far the best keyboard I’ve every used, and with the added benefit of being able to use on multiple machines with multiple operating systems.

I had a microsoft massive ergo keyboard for a while, and it was so loud people would complain at me. It took up far too much desk real estate, and I hated it, even though I had to use it to stop my wrists hurting.
This Logitech Ergo K860 is only 1cm wider than a standard keyboard, and the rise across the middle is far less acute than the Microsoft one, however it is extremely comfortable to use, the keys fall under my fingers exactly where I expect them to be, and it’s an absolute pleasure to type on, being quiet but responsive.
The on/off switch is not immediately obvious, being underneath at the top edge of the keyboard, but once you know it’s there you can find it easily enough. The wrist rest is attached permanently, and is pleasantly cushioned.
Most importantly, my wrists are supported and the pain has completely disappeared within minutes of starting to use it.

Easy to set up and use, and there are 3 set angles that you can tilt the keyboard for- but – for I am stuggling to keep my left hand on the wrist support as it ends abruptly -the right hand is fine as this extends to the number pad.

  16. GlennBidwill says:

Great keyboard, multiple tilt angles, good construction and the keys are nice and tactile. Connecting through the Uni receiver (included) is really nice as well. This was my first ergonomic keyboard, and I am not a strict touch typist (my fingers don’t rest in the ‘correct’ places), but this was a very easy adjustment to make and I’ve really noticed the difference. Oh, and as I switch between Mac and Windows, the dual key markings are lovely!

Not all is perfect though: things like the menu key, normally to the right of the spacebar somewhere is above the numpad.; I didn’t find it for a week or so! Also, the split spacebar is a little strange. Biggest gripe, and what concerned me prior to purchase is the 10-Key numpad: I use it all the time, but didn’t want it fixed as it makes the keyboard much wider and doesn’t help with ergonomic positioning of a mouse. The Microsoft Ergo line has a separate numpad, but doesn’t feel as nice as this (I returned it in favour of the K860). Finally, would be nice if it was rechargable/connectable via usb-c rather than just 2*AAA batteries and a wireless connection – not fussed about battery life if it can be charged, and without the backlight, it should be able to last a while with an internal battery!

Some nice final touches though are the ability to toggle the Fn keys between Fn# and ‘smart keys’ (vol up/down, play/pause, etc.), and the easy switch between multiple computers.

Over all, really good product that misses a few beats to make it great.

I think I’ll get used to this, it’s really nice (with a price to match) and so much quieter than the MS Natural keyboards I’ve had over the last 20 years. But the left ctrl key is too narrow, doesn’t reach the key, so I can’t use my usual thumb position to do things like jumping back & forward through text a word at a time, or quickly highlighting a whole word with shift-ctrl-cursor. New muscle memory to develop.

I brought this as a replacement for my logitech gaming keyboard which gave up living on me after a couple of year, I’ve had it for around a week and so far I’m loving it: the split keyboard design is very comfortable for typing, the keys are very quiet, the built-in palm rest is great and it’s actually improved my typing accuracy and speed (to be fair though my old gaming keyboard was a pig to type on, it was excellent for gaming though so swings and roundabouts I guess). When reading this review bear in mind this isn’t my first split keyboard (I think it’s actually my fourth or fifth now) and i recall there being something of a learning curve on my original wired microsoft ergonomic split keyboard, when you’ve gotten used to arrangement it’s like riding a bike, it feels very familiar.

From my limited experience with my new keyboard I can throughly recommend this product, I will update my review if that changes though.

I am a happy user of this keyboard. Here’s what I like:
    – The keyboard is really ergonomic. No wrist pain.
    – It looks great and is very well built.
    – Quite typing.
    – Keyboard is laptop-style as opposed to mechanical which I really like. It provides me effortless typing.
    – Stable connection; easy connection to 3 different devices.
No cons that I can think of.

After having this unit for 40 days, so just out of the no quibble Amazon guarantee, the keyboard started to work intermittently and it often missed out keys while typing. This was very frustrating, particularly as Amazon customer services weren’t very helpful on this occasion and put me in touch with Logitech instead. I went through some trouble shooting with Logitech and they concluded that my device was indeed faulty.
The replacement device works exactly as it should, apart from the zero button on the keypad, which is noisier than the other keys.
I’ve come from Microsoft Comfort Curve keyboards, and the Logitech is comfier, quieter and feels nicer to type with. The padded wrist cushion is a very nice and welcome touch.

I have a frozen shoulder and my wrists were sore from a normal keyboard and laptop. Made a simple change to my workstation at home and this is great. No more wrist pain. Having it inverted is so comfortable. It took a day to get used to the gap in the middle of the keys and now it’s second nature again, typing. Has a number keypad to the right, mused that on laptop. Soft cushioned and sturdy. Keys are light to touch. 100% happy with purchase. Tip, make sure have batteries to hand incase they run low or use rechargeable’s to save money. Tbh, the battery life is good. I change batteries once a month, yet I do use it daily for long hours.

I finally bit the bullet and bought myself an ergonomic keyboard after years of using the standard work affair, and honestly I can’t believe it took me this long to do it. It took a little bit to get used to, but not as much as I thought! The position is easily adaptable from sitting or standing, and the mat is really comfortable – although I do wish it were removable for easier storage. It’s about as long as a standard full-sized keyboard but it feels bigger on my desk. I find it much easier now to find the keys and I can type for longer without feeling strain.

Unlike my previous Microsoft keyboard, this one doesn’t have a delay to wake each time you use it, which is great and much appreciated feature.
It works well and I have noted no functionality issues in the time I have had it so far. Might just be the best ergonomic keyboard I have owned to date.

a new ergonomic keyboard always takes some time to use to, but once you are acquainted – you won’t like a normal keyboard.
The price point of the keyboard is on the higher side, lacks a detachable palm rest, backlit keys.
This is my 2nd ergonomic keyboard for the house. 1st was the Microsoft Sculpt.

Lovely keyboard. Had MS Natural keyboards in the past but this is fantastic. It’s safe to say that sensible ergonomic keyboard choices are a bit thin on the ground however this has a really nice feel and angled correctly. Function keys are great and add some nice features.

The wrist rest isn’t removable but two sets of legs on the keyboard make choosing the most comfortable angle for you a doddle.

Battery life is meant to be around 2 years and support multiple pc’s and laptops at the same time using the logitech receiver.

Key travel is nice on par with a deep laptop travel keys and importantly the keys don’t make too much noise.

This is a great addition to a wfh setup and I’ve no doubt this will have years of life in it.

I mainly have used hard press mechanical keys for many years, but thought for this next new keyboard I would try these soft key types. At first I was not sure as I have never liked laptop type keys but to be honest, after a few weeks of using, I am coming around to these ones.

I have purchased this keyboard for my work setup, I prefer a split keyboard as it really helps with my RSI as “normal” keyboards are about the worst design ever and are really poor for your wrists and elbows. So this keyboard gets a lot of work during the week and to be fair, I can say it has helped with my RSI and helps take away the pain when typing. It has a good array of keys including some multi-press keys which are not normally displayed on most keyboards. However, the MAC/PC design is a little annoying at times as some keys have 6 decals (3 for MAC and 3 for PC). With that said, I am happy with my purchase…

I decided to buy an ergonomic keyboard as I use it for work purposes where I take detailed minutes of meetings. I was getting some RSI with the other old keyboard so did my research and this seemed a good buy. I am delighted with the quality and ease of use of this keyboard. I takes a little getting used to due to the curved design but the more you use it the better it is; typing is then effortless.

I have for the last few years used Microsoft sculpt ergonomic keyboard – they tend to fail after a year, I have gone through 3 (covering 2 workspaces) with the well quoted problems – mouse click failure, keyboard or key failure or USB failure. Over that time that is 300. This keyboard is more expensive (bought with MX Vertical mouse) but it is so much better! It is more comfortable, the keyboard has an on/off switch, the keys are more responsive, most importantly you can pair and easily switch between multiple devices – I now only need one keyboard and mouse for both home and work computers (as working from home). What is most impressive is that I switch from a Mac to a Microsoft laptop seamlessly with one click and the keys all work as marked – no more guessing what is what when using my Mac. If you are wondering between this and spending less on Microsoft sculpt ergonomic – don’t waste your money, go with this! The MX vertical mouse also switches seemlessly between devices, is so much more comfortable to use than the Microsoft ergonomic and has better functionality. I won’t be going back to Microsoft now!

I just LOVE this keyboard. It has automatically made my posture so much better, not just my wrist position, but also my back. To type most comfortably, I find that I am sitting upright and really like the hand position.
A bonus for me is that my typos have reduced as the keyboard’s soft touch keys allows the keys hit with my weaker small finger to still register the key. In my old (new HP) keyboard, i regularly missed the keys unless I put extra pressure on the outer keys.

    Very happy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBrought this ergo keyboard less than a week ago and I’m impressed with the ergo design. This is very similar to Microsoft Sculpt keyboard. Logitech is better because the products will connect to a unifying usb receiver easily and even if the usb receiver is lost or damaged it is possible to get a replacement which is not possible with Microsoft products.
The design and comfort is simply great. If you have wrist or hand pain due to keyboard then highly recommend this. My use is for work and not gaming so can’t comment on gaming usage.

I’m not much of a gamer, so can’t really say how well this works for games (it’s clearly not a mechanical keyboard), but as someone who spends most of his time writing at a screen it is the best I’ve ever used. I’ve long used ergonomic keyboards and would always recommend them against the conventional layout (I can’t afford RSI). Microsoft’s “manta ray” and Surface Ergonomic are both also very good, but this on balance beats them. It has a great key action, superior connectivity, and the Logitech Flow software can be very handy (I use this alongside the Logitech vertical mouse, which is also great). In my experience Logitech’s battery life is much better than Microsoft’s. It’s not backlit, but really that’s not even useful on a desktop keyboard.

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersTLDR: Superb keyboard, 6*. Get the BT receiver out of the packaging!
In the last year, I’ve bought five keyboards. In my 48 years of playing with computers, I must have had dozens of different keyboards. This Logitech K860 is easily the best.

Beautifully comfortable to use, the palm rest is really comfortable to use. In the pictures, it looks as if the palm rest can be separated from the keys – in fact, they are all one unit, joined underneath. The ergonomic layout really is natural to use – my son, who hasn’t used an ergonomic keyboard before, just sat down and typed on it (winning an online typing-speed competition!).

Importantly, Logitech has kept the standard layout of the Insert/Home/PageUp/Delete/End/PageDown keys, and the inverted-T shape of the arrow keys. If you’re used to using these keys as a touch-typist – which many programmers will be – then you’ll still find the keys in the right location. On many split-keyboard ergonomic layouts, the widened layout of the main keyboard means that the middle-set keys are rearranged. The Logitech designers have done a great job here; the numeric keypad is the same size as on normal keyboards, yet the overall keyboard size is the same as normal keyboards (it’s 18″ wide, and 91/4″ deep, including the wrist-rest).

Again unusally for ergonomic keyboards, the keyboard angle can be raised at the front so that it slopes away from you. This is the most natural position for your hands, yet so many keyboards only have raiser-feet at the back. There are in fact two levels of raising you can use – there are two diffent length feet you can choose to extend.

The markings on the keys are very clear, seemingly cast into the actual key, and show the Windows and Mac differences. I recently bought a Logitech K850 keyboard (a 3-computer Bluetooth switcher) but the markings on this look like transfers that have been pasted on, and therefore might rub-off in the long-term). The keys have a good feel and distance of travel and are quiet to use.

Don’t just throw the packaging box away! The keyboard is Bluetooth, and is easy to link to three computers (I have two Windows and one dirty Mac), with three dedicated keys (with a nice LED indicator) to switch machines. But inside the box, stuck separately and easily missed, is a Bluetooth receiver that you can use too. I don’t need to use it; there is a neat slot inside the battery compartment where you can store it.

Logitech provide a download – “Logitech Options” – that allows you to configure the keyboard, and gives a guided tour. It’s worth downloading this, and clicking around to explore. You can program the actions of the back-row keys – for example, set up keys for Cut/Copy/Paste, and you can make these key definitions specific to individual apps.

Areas for improvement? There is an LED on the Caps Lock key to show when it’s on; however, there isn’t one on NumLock, which is a shame. Also, you can’t download a PDF manual – you have to click around in the Options program, or hunt around on the web. These are produced to a good standard, but for all technology I still prefer to have PDF that you can scan, bookmark and annotate.

In summary: it’s expensive – but really outstanding. Worth every penny.

The wrist rest and key position feels good but the keys are stiffer than I thought it would be. Switching between the receiver and bluetooth is annoying. You have to get logitech’s unifying software.

Nice piece of kit. I had a logitec keyboard which worked fine but this takes things to another level. I love the split keyboard. Nice feel to it.couldn’t make the blue tooth feature work even though pairing took place. Not a critical feature. Came quickly and well presented. Easy to set the connection between keyboard and computer. Worked second time when the first slot failed. Not logitec’s fault.
