I use these to play games and they are really good.
The audio control is great, the switch on the headset is great and is very useful despite forgetting to unmute myself!! haha!
They are comfy and fit quite well, they are also quite sturdy and I doubt they will break!! 🙂
Well look no further I bought this headset just because of its mid-range price, I have pulled the headset out of the audio socket on over 200 occasions and ran the cable over with my chair 100’s of times and It still works! It is robust comfortable for long periods and had simple audio control with great 7.1 audio. If you break your headsets frequently this is for you!
I bought the G433 many years ago, and I’ve only just retired it for Logitech G435 wireless alternative.
I only upgraded because I get up and down from my desk more and more these days and wireless just saves time as I’m not tethered to my computer. That said, this caused me literally no sound-related problems, I used it on my desktop, PS4 and the detachable mic made talking to my friends across devices incredibly simple. Logitech produced the goods here, hence why I stayed with them for my upgrade.
I’ll note though, you should probably wash the fabric ear cushions more frequently than I did, or at least swap out for the other one’s Logitech supply (though I think they are a different size). Being fabric, its lovely blue colour got lost under years of grubbiness – this was another benefit to upgrading to the plastic cases of the G345. The braided cable also started to fray a bit. But those are the only sign of age these headphones had, excellent sound and an immersive 7.1 gaming experience right up until I retired them. I could’ve probably worn them another 5-10 years or so.
My gaming headphones broke a couple days ago so looking for a replacement for under 100 I found these, I looked at all the statistics for these on Rtings and felt like they would be a good replacement, I’ve always used Astro’s, mainly the A-10 and the A-40s but seems as they’re out of stock I bought these, here’s my honest review and thoughts on the Logitech G433
Pros:
Nice fit, the ear cups are very comfy a little bonus that they give you extra, most headphones around this price wouldn’t give you extra pads.
Sound quality is great, as previously mentioned if you look at Rtings you will notice these are quite bass heavy which is normal for headphones made for video games, the 7.1 surround sound is absolutely great it has worked perfectly without fail.
Lush fit and very lightweight, these headphones are really lightweight and fit quite well I wore these for around 6 hours straight last night and barley noticed them, my ears didn’t get irritated or stared hurting I actually nearly forgot I was wearing them.
Multiple adapters, you can use these with USB 3.1mm aux Jack (if you have an adapter you can plug these into an amp and they run just fine)
Detachable microphone! I love this, headphones aren’t just for games you can wear these to listen to music without the microphone getting in your way, my only issue is the microphone doesn’t have much leverage and kinda just stays still.
Cons:
With bass heavy music you can feel them shaking (which isn’t an issue for me but may be for some people neitherless this just shows you the bass is rather good) sometimes while listening to music (Namely DVRST’s Close eyes) I can feel a little tickle on my cheek but this could just be with how I’m wearing them and could maybe be fixed with better positioning on my head
One ear is slightly louder than the other, I found while wearing these the right ear is slightly louder then the left ear but it’s barley noticeable unless your activity listening for it.
Quite quiet on consoles, while playing Xbox and PS5 I noticed they are a lot quieter than when I used them with my PC, this could just be due to controllers running off of batteries and not USB power as when I plugged them into my PS5 with USB they sounded alright, most noticeable on xbox was that when using controller audio they were very quiet.
A lot of bleed-through and poor sound isolation, while testing these I found that they weren’t very good at isolating sound, I turned on my phone’s microphone and put it 2 meters away from me and upon listening to the recording I could hear the music quite easily I wouldn’t recommend using these in crowded areas or at least I wouldn’t recommend them to be played loud in public areas
These are what I found for the Logitech G433 headphones I will continue using these as I actually quite like them.
So good I’ve bought them again about 3 years later, not because they are broken (even though they have been dropped before) but because I love them so much I couldn’t bare to be without them if they were to not be available when the inevitable happens and my current set breaks. The surround sound is excellent for FPS games and you won’t want to go back once you use it.
This served me well for about a year and a bit, then the headband just over the earcup (where it says G433) started to crack, over the next week it got worse and worse until it snapped and rendered the headset useless
I’ve had bad turtle beach headsets for the longest time and they’re usually not bad until they start to fall apart on you. This is my first ever Logitech headset and can honestly say the sound quality and comfort is perfect. Only thing I will say is the aux cable is a little long and can get in the way, on the other hand it’s handy for when you need to put your controller down and reach for something on the other side of the room. Overall a 9/10
I bought this product on Sunday and received it on Monday, I went to test this out on Tuesday to find out the headphones alone are good quality but the microphone isn’t the greatest, I’m a heavy breather so everyone could hear my breathing regardless of where I put the microphone. I sent the product back for a refund and now looking for a replacement headset.
The headset is great but because the wire is in some fabric its messed up and after a while I have to put it on certain angle to be able to hear sound from both ears.
These are actually decent headphones. I have these now for 2 years and finally decided to write a review. They have not let me down.
I had lost the mic piece (forgetting there is a backup cable you can use…) so I thought let’s get an upgrade and went with the Razor thresher ultimate wireless headphones… this was a waste of my money as the quality and practicality of the g433 is so much better in comparison. Infact I am on my laptop listening to music and doing work with them. The price may scare people but these are genuinely the nicest headings I have had so far.
These aren’t quite noise cancelling so I have had to take a star off for that, however the sound quality sure makes up for it.
I’m a bit annoyed as I specifically asked for them to be boxed as they were a gift for my son and I didn’t want him to see them before Christmas. Arrived with my address label attached to the headphone box. Guess who received them at the door. Thanks Amazon I’m disappointed he’s happy.
Well, they were at the time but having just noticed the price of these now – ouch! So, I got them for around fifty pounds. I think that’s pretty fair value. Sound quality is perfectly good for gaming but if you’re more interested in music audio, you may be a tad disappointed compared to a set of proper audio phones from the likes of Sony, Bose or AKG. But, for gaming, perfectly good with a lot of bass and a not too muddied sound.
Build quality is good, cushions are comfortable, mic works pretty well.
For the price I paid, bit of a no-brainer. Now the price has doubled, I’m not sure. I guess it depends on whether the more high-end gaming headsets have followed suit on that front. I certainly can’t think of anything bad to say about these but at the current price, I’d certainly look at other headsets.
I used this to play csgo ,rust ,insurgency sandstorm, escape from tarkov and so on…
All sounded great in 7.1 surround… although my friends in discord change if they’re surround sound or normal randomly… *can be really scary having your friend behind you suddenly*
Headphones are really adjustable and provide a nice fit… *but they can be considered heavy*
For the price.. these headphones go beyond what you expect… definitely a must buy..
Whereas I did give 5 stars on all criteria, the build itself was a bit poor. The wire, being fibre would knot and wrap up, this led to the fibre ripping, exposing the rubber. Other than my one complaint, it’s a great headset and would definitely recommend to anyone.
Firstly looking at other reviews particularly YouTube (for mic tests) I thought that compared to other 100 headsets it wasn’t the best.
However at the price of 50-60 its probably the best for its price. 7.1 surround sounds makes all the difference while gaming and listening to music (this feature is only available for pc use).
The noise cancelling is top notch, I struggle to hear people even when their stood right next to me.
The mic is great especially in keeping quiet anything that isn’t your voice, I’m not usually given the courteousy of a quiet room while I’m raiding before the headset I had given in to just muting myself but now I’m happily able to join calls and participate, the headset doesn’t pick up on any of the background noise.
Now I saw in one of the reviews that the headset felt rough to wear, maybe it’s because I’ve a full head of hair or what but this hasn’t been my experience at all, I usually struggle with headset comfort but these I’ve happily spent a full day wearing.
That said they have included replacement earcups if they do bother you!
These headphones are really good for gaming, the product comes with multiple wires that allow you to connect to the PC (What I normally use it for) and to other gaming platforms and your smartphone. The sound quality is good for the value not mind-blowing but pretty good (especially coupling it with the Logitech Software). It also comes with a headphone carrying case which is a nice feature if you want to take these headphones place to place. My main problem with these headphones is the Microphone, the quality of the microphone is not that great, I have used cheap Logitech Gaming Headphones with microphones and they sound a lot better than these headphones. I was told that the microphone was very muffled compared to my old headphones and I have made voice recordings and played it back and it did sound very muffled. I just do not understand why its “Discord Ready” (On the box) when the main issue with these headphones is the microphone.
good headset, great audio, good mic but only 4 stars because I noticed only one day after buying that there is some sort of broken peice inside of the right ear cup and everytime I move my head while playing I can near it rattling about but overall agreat hedset for a good price.
After using this headset for around a month now I have gathered that it is a great buy for anyone who is in the market for an affordable headset. The overall build quality is solid, the fabric on the majority of the headphone is breathable and comfortable. They are also very light and that makes it very easy to game or just chill on them on your head for a long amount of time.
The microphone on the headset preforms exceptionally great, with the audio sounding crisp and not muffled at all. The microphone itself is detachable which makes it less annoying to do anything that dose not require a microphone since you can just take it out.
The accessories that you receive along the headset are no different as to how well they preform. You have multiple choices as to how you want to connect the headset to a device. The sound card that is included is the only way to unlock the 7.1 surround sound feature. Sadly, this 7.1 feature can only be used on a PC because you have to have the Logitech G hub installed on the device you are trying to plug it into. Additionally, you have the choice of using the two sets of ear cups included in the box which is very useful. The whole package also comes with a carry case/bag which is very handy for travelling or storing.
The headset can also not just be used as a gaming headset but also as a casual work to home commute companion, since as it doesn’t look obnoxious you can wear it casually.
Lastly, just wanted to add that this headset goes on sale/ is at a discounted price quite often so be on the lookout for that.
bought for the lad as he wanted a new headset for pc and ps4. have to download software to use the usb dongle on the pc to get the 7.1 surround
he uses on both pc and ps4 and realy likes it, the only problem is it feels a bit tight on the head but good sound and loud
-4 Stars only due to the poor quality adaptor it was sent with.
-Great comfort, with exchangeable ear cups to a suede-esque feel to them.
-Excellent build quality, something I’ve had troubles with some Logitech items in the past.
-Sound quality with the shipped adaptor wasn’t brilliant so I had to switch it out to one I received with a previous Logitech headset, but once switched the sound quality is brilliant.
-With the Logitech “G-Hub” application you can change the levels of frequencies for fine tuning your sound, with the ability to save your set ups too.
Overall a fantastic headset.
Sound quality is superb, the surround sound options and pre sets for things like fps gaming are great, the cables and materials used are of really good quality, love the way the mic can be removed and that the headset has a Jack input on it so if you stretch too far it disconnects from the headset as apose to pulling your pc off the desk lol.
Only downside is that for me the headset is quite small in comparison with my previous headset (corsair of some sort) and also is slightly less comfortable due to this as the ear pieces are smaller, I’ve found that it can give me a bit of a sore head after long gaming sessions due to it feeling quite tight but I would say it is still fairly comfortable and hopefully something I will get used to.
Just generally a really awesome headset, looks cool, sounds fantastic, comes with a really nice carry case and also a smaller boom mic. I was lucky to get this for 44 on sale which is a brilliant price but would say this headset is worth the 100 RRP easily.
Highly recommend!
I bought these to replace my G430s, as these are basically the current version with the addition of interchangable cables and earmuffs..
The sound on the earphones is good with both the USB adaptor and when connected using the analogue Y adaptor, unfortunately the same cannot be said of the mic which is very quiet/muffled and not very clear when using the USB adaptor but is fine when using the analogue connector.
Speaking of the analogue Y adaptor, I found my one was extremely tight when plugging it into the computer (it actually pushed the front panel connector back so I ended up opening the case to fix that), and when plugging into a couple of headphone extension/adaptors I’d got lying around (so the problem is the Y connector’s headphone jack, not the receiving port in the computer, I suspect I got unlucky with this).
I wouldn’t recommend these at anything like the RRP, but at about 30-45 they’re good.
I’m just a little disappointed in Logitech’s build quality on these, as normally they are great for most of their other peripherals (I’ve been using their keyboards, mice and remotes for 20+ years).
Material pads included in the box are worth to change straightaway as the ones that are already on are a bit rough. I like the PC cable which is flexible and covered with material. Volume regulator is about 30-40 cm from the headset along the cable. There is another cable for mobile devices but no volume reg and only one button. Headset itself used to make some pressure on my head but after a few days it’s allright and feel better. For a discount I can recommend, for full price buyer got other options to consider.
Best headset I have ever purchased. Great 7.1 surround, perfect for any situation. Despite being knocked down to stereo when used on a mobile device, it sounds just as good as 7.1. The headphones are easily adjusted to your personal preference via the Logitech software. Packaging is protective and a little zippy bag is included to put the headset in after use. Microphone is great and can be removed. Only con is that they aren’t good at cancelling loud background noise but still enough to most stop background noises. The sound from the headset is enough to block out most sounds. I would recommend these to anyone! I have tested the headset on Xbox, PS4, Switch and PC 9/10
Sound is solid 7-8 / 10, but sadly bass is not as strong as I would have liked (5 – 6 / 10). However, for gaming the sound is great 9/10. Fits well to the head and, although first impression was that they are too hard, my head is not hurting after using them for 8-10 hours at a time so it’s all good. Plus the cable is long, which was important for me.
Overall solid 8/10 for everyday usage.
I was very pleasantly surprised by these headphones. The build quality is very good. They’re nice and light without feeling cheap and they’re very comfortable to wear. The sound quality is excellent. A lot of cheaper headphones tend to go way too heavy on the bass resulting in muddy mids and high end, but these are very nicely balanced.
I was also very pleased with how versatile they are. You get a nice braided cable with a standard 3.5mm jack, a second cable with an inline microphone if you want to use them with your phone and a separate USB DAC if you want to connect to a PC via USB.
Setup on windows 10 was plug and play. Plug the headphones into the DAC,plug the DAC into a spare USB port and you’re good to go. The DAC itself is tiny so it doesn’t get in the way or look messy.
My only minor gripe was the microphone. The quality is certainly good enough for in game chat, but it’s nothing spectacular, so not the headset you’d want if you were planning to use this to record videos or stream…and rather than the mic being integral and folding away like on something like a Razer Kraken, it’s detachable so you either leave it connected and ‘in position’ all the time or take it off and risk losing it.
All in all, I was very impressed for a mid-priced headse
From a G633 to G433, it was a surprising upgrade simply because I didn’t think it would be. The audio and microphone quality is amazing as well as the overall feel and weight (may change due to preference). But it is a great product.
The only downfall, which many have stated already, is the lack of noise cancellation but in my own circumstances, it has not been a problem at all.
One last thing to comment is of the longevity as this is only an initial review of the first-day appreciation of the product so I cannot comment on the endurance that this headset shall provide.
Surround sound doesn’t work for console but stereo sound still provides great experience. Although it does make it harder to gain direction information of footsteps in games such as rainbow six siege. Mic quality is pretty good too and was a big step up from the usual in line mic headsets. One thing is that I’m not used to over ear headphones, and with this head set my ears seem to rub against the fabric inside the ear cups making it a little uncomfortable at times. Maybe my ears are just too big. But overall they’re a decent pair of headphones that I would recommend to friends only when on sale as i feel it’s original price may not be worth it.
Great headset for gaming which it has been tuned for. However, these do clamp down quite hard so can be uncomfortable after long periods. Sound quality is fine for gaming as it is tuned to hear things like footsteps in first person shooters, has an ok mic, and works both stereo via the 3.5mm jack or USB DAC/dongle which provides 7.1 virtual surround sound. You do however require the Logitech Gaming software to take full advantage of the USB functionality (see photos of screenshot).
I would only recommend getting this from the marketplace ‘very good’ or ‘like new’ condition where it is currently around 25 to 30 making it an absolute bargain! Would not recommend buying from new as there are much better alternatives out there in terms of comfort and sound quality.
For example, HyperX Cloud IIs are similar price but sound much better (based off Tacstar Pro 80 audio headphones) and are very comfortable. The Cooler Master MH751 (stereo) or Cooler Master MH752 (USB) would be the choose if you had slightly more budget being based off the Tacstar Pro 82s so the newer version of the HyperX’s.
I have both the Logitech G433s and Cooler Master MH751’s hence the comparison – also reviewed the MH751’s on Amazon which I rank the best above the Audeze Mobius and Fnatic Duel Modular Gaming Headset! However, purchasing the Logitech G433’s off the marketplace at the price I did would make this a serious consideration purely from a value for money perspective!
i bought this product for my gaming needs and it did not disappoint, good microphone for talking to friends and also good sound quality although it was quite heavy on your head compared to most headsets had no problems i wouldn’t recommend using the 7.1 surround sound because it makes it feel like a sort of echo noise when speaking to friends but overall a good product and happy with it.
Microphone is detachable, does not detect small noise sounds such as chewing and breathing (which is really amazing for gaming) while detecting every word.
The headphones have superb sound quality, with logitech software you can control the 7.1 surround, however the noise cancellation could be better because while talking you can hear your own voice quite a bit.
the pads could be comfier as well (if they changed the padding to something that cancels noise better, it would fix quite few smaller issues.)
Overall very good headphones for gaming, for this price, you are very unlikely to find similar quality.
Very comfortable to ware, first time i have owned a Logitec head set,the design and construction is sturdy and lightweight
So for gaming for extended time without discomfort is a big plus. The additional attachments makes the head set one of the most versatile i have used. The noise cancellation technology,is perfect for me as a gamer. The mike is a 3.5 jack and is well placed. The cables in question, one for moble’s/ipads.the other for laptops/desktops, you have a usb conetion and traditional 3.5 jack. The sound quality is very nice well balanced.
Does it give you Value for your bucks yes yes you could spend more for the likes of bose but for the price these will do me nicly
These have just arrived and are replacing my SteelSeries Siberia 200 of which I was a huge fan of. I recently replaced my Logitech G510 which worked with my Siberia 200’s as both keyboard and headset were starting to fail on me. it took me a week of research to find a new headset I liked the look of and thought would be best for my needs. I settled for the Logitech G433 and I’m happy with my choice. sound quality is very good. few adjustments needed for the games I am playing but easy enough to do with the profile. comfortable enough. very ridged in comparison to my Steel Series but not something I feel will take all that long to get used to. Mic sound is good I’ve been told by the person I skype with daily.
Box came with all components as expected. I will shortly be testing the head set out on my Xbox One and my iPad to check for quality on other devices. overall very impressed at first use
This is a great headset. I could leave it at that, but for the sake of this review, I won’t.
The sound is amazing, and it comes boxed beautifully. It feels expensive (which I like). When I plugged it in for the first time on my PC it set up as normal but I had to go to Logitech’s website to download the product drivers which I needed to get the full experience.
Putting the headset on, it’s a comfortable fit. And for someone with a larger head and larger ears, this fits perfectly. It doesn’t become uncomfortable after long periods of use (at least I haven’t noticed that yet).
My only negative comment would be that when listening to music at any volume above 60% or so you can start to hear it outside of the headset, this may be normal but when travelling I like to have my music loud to drown out the outside. I’ll just have to be more careful so others don’t hear my playlist of Flight of the Conchords on 100% volume! Other than that, this headset is well worth the money, and highly recommended.
Very pleased with this headset. Works really well on my Win 7 PC. Plugged in the USB plug and it installed itself in short order. Out of the box it works as a stereo headset, very clear and very comfortable to wear. I thought briefly that there was a connection problem where the 3.5 mm jack plugs into the headset, however by pushing the plug REALLY hard it clicked in and was perfect.
The best was yet to come: downloading the Logitech Gaming Software and, bingo! it is now a 7.1 surround sound headset. Quite how this works I am not sure, as we only have two audio channels, but it sounds amazing. Playing the demo sounds and the sound really seems to come from points all round you. You can also tweak the volume from each virtual speaker separately. I have been using a 5.1 surround sound headset for years which has actual separate speakers, but the G433 sounds a lot better. The plug-in mic works well and can easily be bent into a good position, or removed.
