Confortable, facile installer et customiser (logiciel Logitech qui permet de choisir l’clairage LED et de rgler le son (surround, basses,…)). Le son mis/reu est clair et le casque en lui-mme est super joli, que demander de plus?
This headset has great sound quality, sturdy build and is really comfortable with an adjustable strap. Pretty simple to get started with and has a really decent battery life. It is a little expensive but it’s by far the best headset I have tried. It crushes the Razer Kraken or SteelSeries Arctis lines in my opinion for comfort, mic and audio quality.
This wireless headset was just so tempting to get that i got it. Glad i did. So far it is perfect, the presentation of the product is so beautiful and mesmerising once i first saw it.
I got it once its price had gotten dropped down and was worth it.
Getting the Logitech app on your pc to interact with the rgb on the sides of the g733 which in my opinion shows that you can customise it so much more. The battery life goes by quick if you don’t realise how long you’ve used it up. But it charges fairly quickly, The headset feels absolutely light weight. The mic is detachable which is useful for times when it is unnecessary to have it.
My only problems with this headset is that it has some noise from the rgb which is kind of irritating in a way but doesn’t really matter.
I got these during a sale where I purchased the lilac ones as they had been reduced to 89 approximately. I went for these as one my friend’s uses them and so I took their word for it and got one. First off, the comfort, the cushioning around the ears is very soft and spongey and a prolonged time of wearing doesn’t cause any aches to the ears. Secondly, wireless, this is the first time I’ve ever had a wireless headset and my muscle memory was still trying to move a cable every time I went to sit down, now I can go to the bathroom, down to the kitchen, and still be able to hear and talk with friends, it’s surprising the distance they can cover. Thirdly, mic quality, unfortunately it’s not as great as I was hoping for, friends can still hear me fine and clear but there’s just something that seems a bit tinny, not sure how to explain it. However downloading the GHub app, you can play around with the mic and audio settings or download presets other people have used. Fourthly, battery, as advertised when I bought these, it said 29 hours, as well as my memory serves me, however, thats most likely without anything fancy going on. As the headset has an RGB light setting on the ears, which is completely customisable in the GHub, this can affect the battery life, quicker/rapid light changing takes a larger toll. Turning the brightness down and the rate it fades in and out does help to extend its life, it shouldn’t be much of a problem though if you intend to recharge them after every session regardless.
Additional, the mic is detachable, handy if you’re not someone who needs the headset to talk but wants the freedom of moving around the room or home whilst listening to stuff. Or if you need to pack it away somewhere. Adjusting the size is also possible, the ear pods do have a small extension to move up and down, however wearing them for quite a long time does tend to cause them to move around on their own accord. A quick note, I had seen questions asked about Bluetooth and connection methods, this headset comes with a USB stick that plus into your PC/Laptop/Mac, then you hold the button at the bottom of the left ear pod to turn them on and they should automatically connect to the USB stick.
THERE IS NO BLUETOOTH FUNCTION.
I can’t say if they work with xbox or ps as I haven’t tried.
Overall I’m more than happy with the product, would I pay full price, debatable, would I buy them during a sale, definitely. These would make a great gift, or if you feel like treating yourself to a bit of an upgrade. If you can spare the amount of money to do so then by all means.
Here’s hoping this review has cleared up any queries some of you may have.
Having lived with sturdy but heavyweight wired headphones for long enough, I’m delighted with these headphones from reliable manufacturer Logitech. These manage to be lightweight and comfortable whilst also remaining durable, which is an important consideration, and best yet, now I’m free of those clumsy, heavy cables always getting in the way with my last headset. The breathable fabric cushions mean my ears don’t begin to sweat after an hour, and they are so light you can more or less forget you are wearing them, even for a glasses wearer like myself.
I’ve had so many headsets break on me eventually due to weak points in the build. Not so with these. They feel like they should last. Although the sound quality may not be quite up to scratch for applications such as studio recording, they provide a perfectly adequate sound for PC gaming, and according to most reviews I read, seems to provide better sound and mic quality than most wireless headphones of similar price range, including the popular Logitech G533. While some people prefer bluetooth connection over dongle, I was happier with the dongle connection since I don’t have to be online to use it.
While these headphones do lack noise cancelling, that’s not an issue for me since I tend not to have too much commotion going on in the background while I’m broadcasting.
If there was one thing I really couldn’t be bothered with, it’s the pointless RBG lighting. I don’t understand the obsession manufacturers appear to think ‘G@MeRzZ’ have for putting fancy lights on everything. While I didn’t have the issue of the RBG light reflecting on my glasses as reported by some users, I’d still have been happier without them. In either case, love it or loathe it, the RGB function can be turned off using the software.
In summary, great heapdset for the money, and I can definitely recommend for PC gaming. I doubt you’ll find a better headset for this price.
As per usual a quality product from Logitech.
I have always used Logitech products, just because of their quality and price.
There was an offer for a lightspeed headset and mouse, and it was a bargain to be fair.
Brought for 100 and very happy with them.
I’m no sound quality expert but music sounds good and game audio sounds clear.
Battery is not annoyingly bad, lasts about what they advertise, i have turned off RGB cycle tho.
Can’t really comment on the microphone as have not used it regularly but has sounded acceptable on the few occasions i have.
Only complaint is the volume wheel, it is not tactile and it easy to blast sound in your ear by knocking it or adjusting to quickly.
Should you buy them? For under or around 120, yes. If not, no don’
Usual Logitech quality from these. Easy to set up, great comfort and fit and the Lightspeed technology is great for gaming.
The best headset I’ve bought in years, they look to modern and have extremely light feather weight. Now I thought they were decent until I turn them on and saw the RGB off the bat they looked awesome,
I’m a bass guy and with these you get puuuure bass(like that quality bass not that fake sh*t) it’s jaw dropping how unreal sound quality is as a wireless headset , battery is insanely good 24hr I get from them gaming intensely and music same time. The G Hub is limitless it will go as far as your imagination goes you’ve manual presets, download someone’s preset edit it etc.
Now with the RGB section that’s insane I’ve mine set to audio visual, any background sound turns lights on. Lights can be turned off, brightness can be adjusted, a voice comes up saying battery is low.
I was really skeptic buying these even after watching reviews but all imma say they are so worth it.
+10 on headphones -5 on mic sound quality (something for something I guess)
The Cons in my opinion:
The mic isn’t really bendable its like a rubbery neck.
Mic quality is really bad even tho you have presets to make it sound half decent.
The cups don’t swivel unfortunately.
I’ve head many headsets over the years, and a few wireless ones, notibly the G930 of which I had two and the G933 Artemis. This headset beats those earlier models by a long way.
Most notably and most importantly the battery life is very good. I’ve had this headset almost a year now and it keeps its charge very well. Unlike previous models the battery doesn’t appear to degrade much and can still work for hours unplugged between charges. The earlier models also dropped the signal when the battery was low but this does not happen with this headset.
The range is good, it works through two walls when I am in another room with no signal dropouts. It notifies low charge with a subtle beep when it need boosting and it can be used while plugged in via USB, which is how I often keep it when I’m at my desk.
Finally it is comfortable, looks good and sounds good.
My daughter says that these are very good and exceptionally good for the price!
One of the best headsets I have seen!
Excellent sound, brutal noise cancellation and very confortable!
I use these all day at my job. I love them so much I bought my partner a pair. They are so comfortable and the sound quality is awesome. The battery lasts a really long time too. Just get them!
The best Audio headset I have had yet, the sound is so good and you can hear when everything is coming from exactly, amazing and heavily recommend buying and using.
I use these for gaming, watching shows and chatting on discord. The sound quality is great, they are really comfy and have a good range. The lights can be customised with the G Hub or even turned off it you don’t want them reflecting in the screen and they were so easy to set up.
Can’t lie when my friend recommended me these I was unsure on how good they would be but there are very good, noise cancellation is very good the only thing I would say could be better is the quality of the noise. It’s not bad don’t get me wrong just not 4K ultra HD kind of amazing. Oh and it has lights you can control, who doesn’t want that.
Overall the quality of the product is great and the RGB lighting is a nice touch. I like the fact you can remove the headset mic if needed. The only thing I have found a little annoying is the battery life can sometimes be a little unpredictable. But apart from that would recommend this headset.
I’ve now bought two of these, one for myself and one for my nephew, fits extremely comfortably, the ears are super soft and the setting options are very good.
I use this headset for gaming and for working taking VOIP calls and customers sometimes complain about other colleagues sounding like they are distant or on a bad line, but with my headset they often can’t tell I am not just phoning from a mobile or landline. I have to wear this headset around 8 – 16 hours a day between work and gaming and my ears never get tired, sometimes I forget it’s on and walk out with it! The range on the dongle is phenomenal and there are only a few black spots in my entire house, I often listen to music upstairs whilst plugged in to my PC downstairs.
Having used the g430s for years, I wanted some wireless headsets. I found the HS70s on warehouse deal, as nice as those headphones were, they were quite painful on my large head + wear glasses so I could near wear them more than an hour without some irritation. Then I found these. Like the g430s, sound quality is excellent, very good mic which isn’t moveable but is very good and clear. Head rest is soft and doesn’t apply any pressure and very comfy on my ears aswell.
Only downside I find to these headsets and its not the item but their software which are needed to tune rgb, turn them off etc. The program installs in your boot drive and there is no way from what ive searched to put it into other drives. As someone who has a small nvme for booting up pc, this is such a stupid thing by logitech.
All in all would recommend these to anyone wanting some wireless gaming headsets.
So amazing sadly only for PC I bought for Xbox and waited a week to find out I couldn’t use for my Xbox very disappointed but they are great for comfort the microphone isn’t in you mouth or face didn’t get to test audio but very beautiful color and lights
The gamer headser does whats ir propose for pc gaming where there is an app where you can set all your audio on how yoy want to sound like and also personalise your audio settings.
I didn’t find a way to do so for my ps4 or ps5.
I had a small problem with the mic, which was failing after a pause between my phrases.
I believe it has to do with the noise cancelling funcion but this want possible to be fixed. I had no trouble on finding help with Logitech to assess mu problem and no problem with Amazon upon returning the item.
I believe I was unlucky as clearly the other features were great, and logitech has many steps to help you fix any problem you find with your audio or mic settings, including a hidden factory reset button in the device.
I bought these as I needed to get some wireless headphones due to the wires getting out of hand. The G733 uses Logitech’s Lightspeed tech which essentially has no noticeable latency, I game a lot and play FPS games so sound accuracy and latency was important, these headphones deliver that perfectly. Now, it’s not all great, the microphone is terrible, the software helps but it’s still terrible, I use a cheap neewer NW-700 microphone that costs around 30 for a full kit and is an amazing condenser microphone also, if you have glasses, at least for me, initially, it was fine, but after a while I began to experience some pain where my glasses and being pressed against my head due to the clamping force, I’m only just beginning to get used to it. The battery life is pretty good and is charged via USB C. The software (G Hub) is decent and allows for a lot of customisation over the sound of both the mic and the speakers and there are presets you can download that other people have made.
I bought this headset to replace the ROCCAT ELO AIR 7.1. The ELO’s signal was terrible and most likely faulty but didn’t want to chance it being a production issues.
The g733’s are a great headset. It’s of all an plastic construction but it is very high quality and due to few moving parts suffers no creaks or cracks when moving your head or swallowing. They are really comfortable to wear and would easily outlast you sat at a desk.
They have great battery life and have a really nice modern design which appeals to gamers and wouldn’t be out of place in an office. The deciding factor for me was that these boast 20m of range. While I cant quite get that, compared to the ELO’s they are amazing I can walk around my house with no signal breakup at all.
The software is also great, very easy to use , informative and functional.
All in all, a great headset highly recommended
So at first the audio and my voice were…bad. So the headset as a standard isn’t great. But if you use the Logitech G Hub app, you can customise your EQ and the sound of your voice, which is always great. I managed to find an EQ that suited me perfectly, and I got my voice to sound pretty spot on from real life (at least when I listen back to it), I’ve not had any complaints from my friends. I’m not an audio engineer or anything, so I imagine anyone who’s really attuned to different tones and such would understand the audio quality of this headset better.
I don’t find them uncomfortable, though granted I’m used to wearing headphones for several hours at a time, which the battery life manages to survive, only needing charging about every 1.5 days, which is pretty standard for me given how much I use my headsets.
So yeah, overall a pretty good headset if you can use the Logitech G Hub app. If you can’t then I’d suggest looking elsewhere, as the original audio for output and input is pretty subpar.
I bought this wireless headset for some light gaming and music listening (I’m not an audiophile), but mostly because I spend all day everyday teaching via Zoom, WebEx, Teams and such and wanted a comfortable wireless headset with a decent mic, which is vital when I’m teaching.
So far no complaints – they’re certainly comfortable enough for me to wear all day (12 hours with a break every 90 minutes or so is pretty typical usage for me) and course attendees have all said they can hear me really well, even when I have my room windows open. Battery life is about what’s expected (I turn off the lights on the headset because I’m not ten years old and that’ll help the battery), so I charge them roughly every three days – could probably charge them less often but need to make sure they don’t die mid-class!
Would definitely recommend them.
UPDATE: great, very comfy, and the only issue I’ve had is I think caused by the G-Hub software. If I’m presenting via Zoom and no audio comes in (others speaking) for 15 minutes (the auto shut-off time) they switch off, even though I’m speaking! Easily changed in G-Hub, but a little odd. Luckily, Zoom is the platform I use the least.
Was a bit sceptical after reading a few bad reviews on this headset but decided to go for it.
I don’t often leave reviews but I’m so impressed with this.
I don’t regret buying this one bit! Had it for about a month now and its by far the most comfortable headset I have ever used, I’ve had multiple headsets over the years from different brands but they always ended up giving me headaches after an evening of wearing them for a few hours, but not this one.
Its so lightweight and the band at the top makes it feel like its barely there, the memory foam earpads are very soft and comfy.
The sound quality is lovely and the LOGITECH GHUB software allows it to be good for whatever you need it for. Its sound is highly customisable and has a few good presets for things like FPS, MOBA, etc.
The sound is really nice for games like Valorant.
The only slight letdown is the microphone, its not awful but its not great, for a wireless headset microphone its fine and it does its job!
Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a lovely comfy, wearable headset!
My son is either playing football or in his room playing FIFA, he loves headsets and has so many different brands, different colour, differed specs etc.
The retail price of this pair is in the higher bracket, he has confirmed that you pay for what you get and the price tag is definitely worth every penny and more.
The headset performs like it should and even better..
He loves the style especially the colour, excellent build, has a removable mic, great settings, great battery life and is very comfortable, lightweight to wear which is a bonus as some of these all nights do take its toil.
The sound is super clear coming in and out but the volume was not as high as he would have liked it but apart from this he would recommend these.
Great piece of kit, definitely happy with how this headset performs!
Pros;
+ Good build, minimal moving pieces
+ Removeable mic, if it ever goes bad, dont need to replace the whole unit
+ Good (reasonable) range
+ Blue Voice options (Wont compare to a condenser setup but definitely better than other headsets/nothing!)
+ Settings/EQ
+ Battery Life of 25hrs depending on your preferences of RGB on/off
+ Com-Fort-Able! Lightweight which is what you want for the long sessions.
+ Bonus, color variety and head band can be customised. Good look Logitech, good job!
Probably the only thing I dont like;
– The volume rocker glides so precise control over audio levels isn’t great. I’ve always reached for the volume dial on my keyboard but if this was your only quick access to audio volume? Its not great.
– Mic is not retractable nor is it a boom mic so must press a button on the back of the earcup to mute.
Upgrading from the G533’s after 15 months thanks to it being a gift, I can compare the two.
G553’s is definitely a good wireless headset and there was nothing really wrong with them after 15 months (they still did the job) but where the G733 was an imporvement is;
+ WAY better battery life
+ Less moving pieces means it doesnt creak at all. G533 were quite noisy thanks to the hinges
+ G733 is alot more comfortable. I find sometimes I forget I have them on with how lightweight they are but the G533 do hurt after a while into a gaming session and makes you want to stop. G733, no problem!
+ Personally, I prefer the G733 design also. Looks better and not as bulky.
I wouldnt say it was worth the 120 at the time as an *upgrade* despite how much I love them, but, if you’re currently wired looking for a decent wireless headset, I can say these are worthwhile indeed. Comfortable, sound good, lasts long, looks good.
When I saw this on Vine, I thought this looked like a unique Gaming Headset with a different design and from reputable company like logitech so I decided to try it out. After doing some research I understood that this is a wireless gaming headset that’s supposed to be comfortable to wea while delivering good audio quality.
I have been using it while Gaming for last few days and I actually think it lives up to the promises made by the company. It still came in a standard gray logitech box and the package includes the wireless usb dongle, a usb to usb c cable, the detachable microphone and the g733 headset.
It is primarilymade out of plastic but it still feels quite sturdy and solid but I noticed that its a bit flimsy around the connection between the ear ups and headbands. Although I haven’t noticed any issues in my usage, I feel this might be the first part to go if it comes to that. Other than that though it’s pretty solid. It is quite flexible so that it’ll help it can fit a variety of different head sizes and you can even buy different colors and designs headbands to change your look and feel.
The ear cups feel nice and cool and soft and they’re comfortable all the time and there’s nice thick foam
padding all the way around the ear cups and it really enhances the overall comfort of the headset. The ear pads are removable but as they have a bit of a rectangular design I don’t think you can use any other ear ups with these.
They are lightweight when compared to other headsets that I have recently used but those ones were not wireless which is a unique feature of this headset from the ones that I have tried. So considering that this is a wireless
headset, it is all the more surprising that it is so lightweight.
The battery life’s is quite good as well at around 20 hours with rgb lighting and around 70% volume which is similar to lot of non Gaming headphones. As afr as wireless range goes these are agin quite good and I was able to use them throughkut the house without any breakageoof signal.
It also has RGB lighting and this can be configured through some configurable options in g-hub but I couldn’t see a point of that. It might be useful for people who live stream their gameplays but for normal people like me, I don’t think it makes sense as you cannot see the lighting when the headset is on you anyways.
In terms of sound quality, they sound pretty good but they’re not as intense or as punchy as i was expecting and they have a bit of a neutral sound. It doesn’t have that heavy bass sound that you sometimes get from gaming headsets because they’re tuned to make gunfire and explosions sound super intense. I rather prefer this sound profile as it is much more pleasant for your ear but also preserve the impact of the gameplay. They might be even suitable for movies and videos and listening to music and stuff like that. It is possible to change the sound profile through the G hub software provided but I thought the software based sound profiles were not up to the mark.
Overall, I think that this might not be the best that’s out there on the market but it’s pretty good and it’s just an overall well-balanced headset that’s going to be comfortable for longer term usage and it is a really good option right now in 2020.
Right, to say these are funky is an understatement — they are the most cool looking headphones, well a gaming headset, I have seen, and believe me we have tried a few! LOL!
To say that they are quality, with every single aspect considered when designing this headset is also like saying nothing at all — you download the software ( free) and there is a whole lot you can do to control your headset, including adjusting the mic, messing with the equaliser to your heart content, dimming the RGB light or switching it off altogether, if you are gaming in a dark room and do not want the lights reflecting onto your screen and confusing you.
To say this headset is comfortable is also not to give it justice either, as despite containing all that functionality, the headset is uber lightweight and comfy -in fact, you barely know it is there!
To say that the sound is spot on is to say nothing at all too, as you are truly in receipt of immersive experience!
Finally, you get every single thing you will ever need to get the most out of this headset in the package and connect it to all and any device possible!
Having used it for over 2 weeks now, hubby uses it daily for work during the day and rest after work and his turt, as well as jab ( both more expensive than this Logitech) have now migrated to kids’ bedroom as their gaming headsets, with daddy keeping the Logitech as his main toy! That speaks volumes in itself, to be honest!
Wow, what a big difference a great gaming headset like this makes when playing my favourite games. This gaming headset is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. They are over-ear headphones which make them comfortable to wear for hours on end. The headset is highly customizable if you download the software, you can change the sound profile and the dim the lights and more. Battery life is also outstanding. The only shame about these headphones is that they only function with a wireless USB dongle so you can’t really take them with you and plug them into your phone to listen to music for example. However, it has a fairly low wireless latency. The headphones do really deliver sound that is well synchronized with what is on screen and this can be really important when gaming.
The headset is well-made with good quality plastic; the frame is very flexible and durable.
Setting up with PC was easy and straightforward, and don’t have any issue with connectivity signal. It is very lightweight, and the ear cups are soft and comfortable for my son.
The sound quality is excellent; he can identify the footsteps and movement from a different direction in a game for the better gaming experience plus, you can adjust sound settings however you like in G HUB software which is the bonus.
He loves the RGB lights and some configurable options in G HUB software. But for me, it’s not that important because you can’t see the lights while you play games anyway.
Detachable microphone is very convenient; you can take it off when you don’t need it, for example, if you don’t want to talk online or if you want to listen to music. The battery life is excellent last around 20 to 25 hrs.
Overall, there are lots of good things about this headset. My son and I like this headset. Best headset so far. Highly recommend it.
Box Contains :
1 x Headset
1 x Wireless USB dongle
1 x USB to USB-C Charging Cable
1 x Detachable Microphone
My son wanted some gaming headphones for his laptop for a while so this was perfect when it come up.
Altho it’s a lilac colour he doesn’t care.
It has front facing lighting which changes colour which is pretty cool.
They are a wireless headphone and they say they have a 20 m range .
my son’s had these for a few weeks and only charge them twice, I couldn’t tell you how many hours that is but but they reckon is 29 hours non-stop rechargeable battery life
They very comfortable to wear even for long periods unfortunately I don’t agree with it but as my son special needs he does spend a lot of time on the laptop .
They’re really lightweight and they have a reversible adjustable headband and dual layer memory foam ear pads , these do not get your ears hot like some headphones .
You can download a g hub software which let’s you personalize the sound and lighting and play with the audio customizations it also has a detachable mike with advanced voice filters for ultra-clear voice commands .
These are a nicely built very lightweight and I definitely recommend them
This is a brilliant headphone, better than my expectations.
It’s super comfortable to wear, very stylish.
The sound quality, wow! I never thought it could be this good! Definitely take the experience to the next level!
Got to try this on your own.
Logitech G733 Lightspeed wireless headset are pretty in not quite pink, more of a purple if I’m honest, but you get the gist. My husband has always gone on about how comfy his headset is a blah blah blah, I have never bothered much about it and jus thought it was a bit much, now this headset, is pricier than I would normally like, but honestly they are worth every penny. I didn’t know if I would like the purple but honestly, I’m a fan, they make me feel less serious and more fun while imp ploughing through my working week. I have set it up for my PC and it was super easy even for an idiot like me, I have used it for more than I imagined as we have both been working from home so it was ideal I could stick these on and get lost in my own world while my husband was shouting on the other side of the room in his own headset. I even got a compliment while wearing them on zoom. This is comfy to wear for long periods so if you have a gamer in your life and they need new headset you won’t go wrong with these, Logitech are a great brand and I am more than happy with these, the sound quality is second to none.
Before getting this, my son was playing games and tallking on apps with his friends (e.g. Discord) with separate wired headphones and a microphone attached to his PC. This has replaced both and with much better audio quality.
Set up was incredibly easy, simply attaching the microphone to the headset then connecting via bluetooth. The PC picked it up straight away and for us everything automatically switched – meaning games and apps worked straight away without any problems ( Minecraft, Roblox, Discord etc.).
The sound quality is fantastic and his friends say they can hear him very clearly. The headphones are very light and the elasticated band across the top of the headset ensures a snug and really comfortable fit. My son says they are the most comfortable headphones he has owned (he even prefers them to his beats!).
The headphones hold a long charge – we plug them in at the end of each session but haven’t noticed any run down or need to charge in gaming sessions. Finally they look extremely cool – and my son loves the glowing colours on the outside of the earpieces. I believe you can set these colours but my son likes the random changing set that is there by default so we have left as is.
For now I can’t fault these headphones and suspect any gamer – teenage or older – would be extremely happy with them. Thoroughly recommend.
Wow , this head set is just great. Got these for my daughter who like to play her games and chat with friends.
First of all the lilac is beautiful and the light up ear pieces are a great touch.
They are super comfy and don’t put pressure on the head or ears which is great when wearing them for a long time.
The sound quality is amazing and so clear.
You can also adjust the audio settings using the free Logitech software that you can download.
They are very light but equally very sturdy and flexible.
I would highly recommend these for comfort, style and quality alike.
I found these felt very bulky on my head, with the ear cups jutting out far more than I am used to. However, they are incredibly comfortable to wear and the cupping around the ear helps to make the sound really come alive and enable a more immersive gaming experience. Onboard controls are easily accessed once you have gotten used to the set up and connectivity remains good even if you wander a distance away.
They feel lightweight on your head and the internal band really helps aid comfort, no matter how long you are gaming – and some of my sessions go on for hours. I just wish they were slightly less bulky.
I have owned a lot of headphones in the past, wired, bluetooth, high range 300+ or low range 30, I could say this is one of the best if not the best in terms of comfort. The headphones are quite light in weight but feels really sturdy. The microphone is detachable which is good as I don’t normally use the microphone for the games I play.
The connection is easy through usb and I never had any problem of dropping signal. Highly recommend downloading Logitech’s GHub software if this is your first Logitech product, it gives you loads of options to configure your light and sound, and many different user uploaded presets that you can use for free.
It is expensive for a pair of headsets but it worths every penny in my opinion, highly recommend!
A good headset from Logitech. I have had the pleasure of owning a few different ones from all the big names, but this is my first Logitech one. Although I found it a bulky design it was very light and very comfortable to wear for extended periods. The ear pads are cushioned, and the head band can be adjusted to suit the size of your head with the elastic head band keeping your hair and head from touching the plastic top band. I am not convinced on the colour, it was a review item so I did not get to choose however I can see some girl gamers taking to this, but I loved the LED lighting on it, looked great at night.
I would say its durable, having a child at home who throws his headphones down in rage during a game knows this only too well after breaking the first pair he owned but I think these should last a few temper tantrums because they seem to be made quite well albeit a bit plastic feeling.
To get the most from the directional sound you will need to use this with the software that supports this, I didn’t seem to get the most out of the PS4 with this, however the sound was excellent on both console and pc. I liked the bass, it was heavy and I personally like that however you can tweak the EQ settings.
This is a good gaming headset which I would recommend for a PC gamer due to being ble to tweak and customise it more.
I was fortunate enough to receive one of these Logitech wireless gaming headsets. The G733 is literally a beast gaming headset with no compromise or downsides at all. Below are my thoughts about the different areas of the headset.
Design and Build Quality:
Made entirely of plastic, the headset is still very sturdy despite being very flexible. Flexibility is very important when it comes to gaming as the headset might press on the ears or head and cause discomfort when gaming for long time. Thankfully the design of this headset makes it impossible to put strain on the head or ears, and therefore it delivers optimal comfort even after gaming for very long.
The suspension headband acts as an intermediary between the head and the plastic frame. It rests comfortably on top of the head which insures that the headsets remain fixed even when constantly moving or engaging in any type of activity.
The headset I got has a lovely lilac colour. It is the first headset I have that is not black and I am very satisfied with this colour. I was afraid I wouldn’t like this colour variant but I ended up finding it more appealing and catchy than the black headset I have. The headband is very colourful which makes the headset look very vivid. It is worth noting that the headband is adjustable and can be made even tighter.
Sound Quality:
Sound quality is top notch. I can easily place it within the top-range category as the sound is very clear and in game sounds and movements are easily heard even if they are very quiet (Like in FPS games). The noise cancellation is equally decent. I can hardly hear when someone is talking to me while I am wearing the headset.
I have tried several headphones and headsets previously, and I am very confident these G733 excel in terms of sound. The microphone is also very clear and suitable for gaming and streaming. The quality of the checks I recorded with the microphone is sharp, clear, and loud enough to be used straightaway either in live streams or as voice over in video editing.
Setup, G Hub, and RGBs:
Setting these headphones up was straightforward. I own another headset that is equipped with a USB Bluetooth that connects to the computer. When comparing how fast this G733 pairs in comparison to my other (supposedly very decent) headset, the different is huge. The G733 connects in less than a second, turns on very fast and turns off very fast too.
I connected these headsets to G Hub software (you can find it with a simple search) and they were identified immediately. I accessed the settings where there are a plethora of features that allow me to control everything about my headset. The software is crucial for benefitting the most from the headphones as it allows to adjust the sound features, either in standard or gaming modes (In addition to many other modes). There are many customization options that allow for reaching the most convenient sound quality possible. There are also Surrounded Sound setting which would be super helpful in FPS games.
Through G hub you can also adjust the different button commands, create custom profiles for games/apps, and manage macros. It also allows for adjusting the RGBs that glow on the both sides of the headset and which I find very appealing visually. RGBs are trendy now and I wouldn’t deny that every piece of my gaming gear has RGB in it. I don’t think the RGBs on this headset are compatible with AuraSync, but I can ensure that the settings on the G Hub are more than enough to opt for any lighting mode you desire.
Range and Battery Life:
The range of these headsets is perfect. While I usually game next to my gear and don’t move away from it, I tried to move further and went to the furthest point in the house. the headsets signal remained the same and the sound didn’t drop at all.
Battery life so far seems okay. I am not entirely sure whether it would last as long as advertised so I will make sure to put this to some extended use from 100 to 0 and see how much time this lasts. I will update this section once I test battery life.
Update 26.10.2020: The battery life functions as advertised. Once charged 100%, it kept me going for three days of intensive gaming (4-8 hours a day).
Verdict:
I am beyond satisfied with these headsets. They fit perfectly, excel at sound input/output quality, very flexible and lightweight, packed with RGBs, support custom profiles and macros via G hub, and can be connected easily. I would definitely advise anyone on the look for gaming headsets with decent microphone and design to give these a go, they are really well worth it.
As a PC users I cannot fault this. The headset is light and comfortable and lasts for more than a whole day in battery time at this price :0. Wireless headsets have come a long way or this is awesome.
The sound profile is flat which I actually like as it is not over the top ripping my head off like a steel series Arctic pro wired no matter how much I try to change their settings. The EQ’s can be changed for people that like more edgy sound and for me it can definitely make the bass extremely loud, however I am sensitive to bass. The sound is immersive and you will be able to track enemies, regardless of stereo or DTS mode. Each game will slightly vary on whether you prefer DTS to track down enemies. Some games are well designed for that feature and sound great.
As a PC user I would buy as long as you use the G HUB app and even as a PS4 player I would probably use these simply for sound stage and battery life. Not tested them on my PS4 as it is dead to me at this stage.
If I was to really dig at a negative then it would be lights on the front of headset (it is also a pro tbh as it looks awesome), as they shine a light that can reflect back at you as a glasses user. Without G HUB app to turn off the light then console players may dislike. There might be a way around this, but I have not found the need to try. Consider yourself warned glasses console players :).
Some may be put off by the lilac colour but I actually really like it!
Logitech always come through on quality too, great sound quality and general build quality too
This headset is great. I know it may not sound like much, but it’s great. That may not be representative of the fact that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but there’s only one reason for that.
This is a great headset, starting with the sound/audio, it’s superb, the surround sound works fantastic, the audio is crisp and loud. However, changing EQ presets there is not muchdifference between each preset, but unless that’s what you’re looking for in a gaming headset, you’ll be sorely disappointed. There isn’t much added bass if you put it into the bass boost preset, but it sounds good anyway.
Quality wise of the headset ranges, albeit the headset is made from mostly plastic, it does not at all feel like cheap shoddy stuff, it feels well put together, and the suspension headband goes a long way in terms of comfortability and longevity. It is very lightweight, but I would suspect that is mostly because of the plastic, but what can you really expect.
Battery life is dependent on what RGB settings you use (if you use them at all), the battery life is held true to what Logitech have put on the box, at the time of writing this review, I have used the headset mostly all day 9am-8:30pm and I have not charged it yet, with 60% battery left at the current time.
If you’ve noticed, I’ve given it 4 stars and not 5, that is solely because the previous headset I’ve moved on from had ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), sure, it isn’t fair comparing a headset that does and does not, however I am mildly let down for the lack of noise cancellation in general. I can hear just as much background sound when I have the headset on to when I have the headset off, but hey, just like every product ever, you pay the price for the quality you have and what you get.
