The headset is very comfortable and has a great range, I can walk around my flat. From room to room and still have perfect sound.
So impressed.
Simple to setup and very simple to use.
This headset is ideal for any homeworker requiring a quality headset.
I needed a headset that wasn’t Bluetooth as my company blocks Bluetooth devices. This headset appears as a sound device which overcomes this restriction.
The range is fantastic. I can roam all around the house and right down our 125 foot garden with no loss of quality. It works the same as dect telephones in this regard.
One thing to note. The charging stand is excellent as it provides a cradle to return the headset to when you are finished with it where it keeps he battery topped up (battery life is excellent). The stand is separately powered using a small mains adaptor and connects to the computer using a USB cable. This does mean that you can’t easily move it around if say you want to take your laptop out in the garden and work. Some headsets have a simpler USB dongle which would work better for somebody who moves their computer around but then you lose the charging capability.
Sound quality is very adequate for voice calls and it’s pretty comfortable. I wouldn’t use it for listening to music though, its’s very much designed for conferencing. I prefer having a single earpiece so this was a reason for purchasing this model.
It’s pricy but worth the money considering the reliability, call quality and range.

I’m a corporate trainer and I often run long classes of up to 7 hours duration. During this time, I like to get up and move around my house. This headset is ideal for that purpose.
The inbuilt rechargeable battery lasts for about 5 hours which is usually enough time for me do a morning lecture then let it recharge during lunch ready for my afternoon lecture.
One thing to be careful about — when you put the headset into its cradle, be sure it’s seated properly so that it will recharge. Look for the battery icon on the side to start flashing which indicates it’s charging. I got caught out the first few times I used it and the battery ran out of juice halfway through a lecture. Logitech may wish to make the charge connector more effective next time they upgrade this model.
Speaking of connectors — the USB-A to Micro-USB cable that runs from my computer to the headphone cradle is long enough to be useful, but the Micro-USB connector is tricky to insert into the cradle. I found it did not connect correctly the first time I plugged it in and soon learned to jiggle it around and press it in very firmly to ensure a good connection.
The signal range is very good — I have used this headset in different rooms in my house and even strolled outside in my yard with no signal loss or audio degradation.
I particularly love the ability to mute myself using the button under the microphone boom arm, and the red light on the mike gives me a visual cue that I’m muted. I found that the mute function is compatible with Microsoft Teams but not with Zoom or GoToWebinar. In other words, Teams recognizes that I have muted myself but the others do not. This is only a minor inconvenience but I wonder if that’s something that Logitech can fix.
I chose the monaural version of the headset (since I’m deaf in my left ear) and I find the headset quite comfortable and light. Where the “T” piece on the headset presses on my head can become a little annoying after 5 hours of lecturing but I don’t often lecture for that long so it’s not a major issue. Logitech may wish to make that “T” piece more padded in future.
The base station is solid and heavy, ensuring that the headset is held securely while charging. The only downside of its bulk is that it takes up a lot of room and adds a lot of weight to my luggage when I travel, but that’s not a major issue. I prefer that it’s robust rather than light and flimsy, like some other headsets I’ve used in the past.
Bottom line — this is an excellent headset for professionals who need mobility when engaging in two-way audio communication via their computer.
Brilliant quality and excellent noise cancellation. These are like the ones big companies provide in their offices. You can comfortably be on calls for extended periods and background noise isn’t that much of a bother.
Angefangen mit kabelgebundenen Headsets samt Nachteil bei Dauerterminen am Schreibtisch gefesselt zu sein, ber div. kabellose Headsets mit unzureichender Reichweite und Tonqualitt, bin ich endlich bei Logitech gelandet.
Mit dem H820e kann ich sogar im Stock darber an Terminen teilnehmen. Die Mute-Taste (immens wichtig fr die Handlungsfreiheit bei langen Terminen) ist leicht ertastbar und wird zustzlich durch eine rote LED an der Spitze des Mikros angezeigt. Man kann somit aus dem Augenwinkel prfen, ob man stumm geschaltet ist.
Das Headset ist auch nicht zu schwer, was wichtig ist beim Dauereinsatz.
Die Dockingstation ist zwar etwas klobig, aber das Einsetzen des Headsets ist wesentlich einfacher als wenn man einen USB-Kabel einstecken muss mit dieser kleinen, hakeligen Buchse. Da die Station eine eigene Stromversorgung hat, gibt es keine USB-Spannungsprobleme.
Kurzum, wer dieses Headset kauft, kann kaum etwas falsch machen. Nach einem Jahr Heatset-Marathon war es mir die ca. 150 allemal wert!

I had brought a cheaper headset for my online meetings but the quality was annoying, took the plunge as I have used Logitech items for years the sound quality is amazing, the distance you can be from the computer is large I can go down stairs and still be on a call with office upstairs.
I wanted a headset with a mute button that works for hangouts, zoom, ring central etc. This is extremely comfortable and mute works for all applications. Very happy and proves you pay for quality. Well worth the money after buy 2 very cheaper sets.
Un gran producto, alcance total 200 metros o ms….y se oye de calidad extrema, importante configurar bien tanto la entrada como la salida para conseguir lo maximo, caro pero totalmente recomendable, estar atentos al Amazon Warehouse, donde podreis conseguir ofertas muy tentadoras y asequibles como en mi caso. Very easy to instal. Plugged in and worked. Usb connector was a bit fiddly.
Ich verwende dieses Headset tglich nur fr Sprachbertragung bei online-Schulungen. Gert wird von Win 10 sofort erkannt und kann dann u.a. auch mit Skype verwendet werden. Sehr gute Sprachqualitt. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
Das Headset ist ordentlich verpackt innerhalb krzester Zeit bei mir angekommen und funktioniert sehr gut. Ich habe ber meine fritzbox auf dem PC in einfaches IP Telefon eingerichtet und kann sehr einfach darber im Bro telefonieren. Super Gert das hlt was Logitech verspricht.
Sieht aus wie neu, schneller Versand. Die Akkulaufzeit ist mit ca. 6 Std. nicht sehr lange
wenn man es nur gelegentlich ntzt, sicher ein ganz passables Produkt. Bei tglichem gebrauch (ich arbeite damit) grobe Schwachstellen. Nach einigen Monaten Mikrohalter locker (mit Klebeband fixiert), nach etwas ber einem jahr Halterung fr Ladestation gebrochen und das ganze Ding nicht mehr verwendbar. Dafr ist es zun teuer.
update: wurde von Logitech problemlos als Garantieleistung ausgetauscht, daher wieder ein Stern dazu fr Kundenfreundlichkei
Great product, maybe I should give less stars as this is number two, the first one broke inside a year. Seems quite fragile plastics liable to snap, will treat this one like an egg and hope it will last. But the product is superb
very good headset however a well know issue with it as well.
After a certain time (about 2 3 weeks) a static noise build up and the headset needs to be open and the battery removed and replaced (Logitech advised it) once this is done the noise is gone and normally does not comes back.
After using this product for about a month I find it very good overall. I use it mostly for online gaming communications, Teamspeak/Mumble/Skype. So yeah, I am not using this in a business setting (something it was made for), just personal as I was looking to moving away from those damn annoying wires.
There are of course there are some negatives, but first the positives.
It’s by far the best wireless mono headset I’ve used so far.
The sound quality is ok~ but it is still far above all the rubbish bluetooth tat you see all over the place.
The range is absolutely amazing, really surprised me how good the range is. The sound quality is still the same at long distances through multiple brick walls and floors.
The comfort is excellent, the padding on the actual ear piece is very soft and for long periods it still feels decent on my head overall.
The quality of the power stand/transmitter is excellent, its heavy duty and should stand the test of time.
The quality of the headset is good, I hear people saying they break it easily (the other stereo version)…I honestly don’t see how that is possible unless you’re a slob that throws stuff around. The quality is there, it’s light and comfortable.
The battery, it’s good so far, lasts me long gaming sessions. The stand does blink red after a while but the headset never died on me yet and my sessions are like 8+ hours sometimes.
The negatives
Oh damn the price, it’s so expensive but the positives outweigh it in my opinion. It’s the only good wireless ‘skype’ headset so far.
The sound quality…now while I said it’s good above it still isn’t as good as wired or logitech’s other gaming wireless headsets. But it is definitely, definitely above the rubbish bluetooth skype headsets, the price reflects that of course. It’s strange to me though that Logitech released a G933 which has excellent sound quality for a wireless headset, I was hoping for that quality but I guess that might not be needed for enterprise use, since I use this for personal reasons I should have expected that. But its really just for voice comms so it’s fine.
So to summarise, this is an excellent headset, built to a brilliant standard and does exactly what it’s meant to do at a great standard. I would recommend this mono headset above the stereo, since both are really just built for communications, not leisure. And the sound quality shows that.
Things I think logitech should work on for a revised version is to work on their sound quality, bring it up to par with G930/G933 but without all the bells and whistles, just have the same sample rate or something that is more modern sounding. But overall, it’s a great headset for what its made for, the price is a little stretch but the business quality so far is unmatched.

Das Headset ist echt klasse, sound und alles 1a, auch das tragen am Kopf ist sehr angenehm,
aber leider hat es ab und an einen kleinen Ladefehler, wo der akku dann komplett leer geh
Geht, macht was es soll, Profi-Gert.
Aber noch Kinderkrankheiten:
-Gelegentlich lautes Rauschen, das nicht mehr aufhrt -> Headset vollstndig entladen -> neu pairen -> luft wieder
-Ladestation: es kommt hufig vor, dass es nicht richtig Kontakt hat zum Laden, weil man es in die Ladestation steckt, aber nicht fest genug runter drckt
Insgesamt: Empfehlung. Fr den Profi-Einsatz im Bro.
