For the price this is a great keyboard and mouse. Can’t fault it. If you think you are missing the dongle…it’s in the flap of the box! Took me a while to locate it but it’s definitely there.

My keyboard/mouse combo arrived today, and at frist I thought it was missing a dongle, since it wasn’t inside the mouse as per usual. I was about to pack it up for return when i saw the dongle was attached to a tab on the box. Not the ideal place for it! However both work as expected.

I was gifted a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse some years ago. Has worked fine, though the keyboard legs weren’t very robust and broke ages ago. My old one finally started to look it’s age and I’ve replaced it with a very similar unit. Works perfectly, immediately pairing with my PC. But the same spindly legs are still part of the design. Only 4 stars given, as I assume that these will eventually break, too. Shame, as everything else is great and works well.

I recently ordered a new Wireless keyboard and Mouse. I already had a Logi system and from the picture in the website it appeared to show the logo ‘Logitech’ When I received the new system I thought the wrong one had been sent so tried to contact someone in customer services but only managed to ‘speak’ with an automated call service and limited to ordering a replacement.
While I was waiting for the replacement I carried out some research to find out ‘Logitech’ dropped ‘tech’ from their logo so the picture in the website is wrong and the items sent to me were correct.
Pleased to report the keyboard and mouse are working perfectly. A fresh picture needs to be added to the website to avoid any further confusion.

Great price at under 20 for both mouse and keyboard. Have used for WFH for 2 days and I’ve decided it is very nice and was worth the money. Connected easily, the mouse is accurate, it is nice to type on and works very well. I hope it lasts

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI wanted something i could use from the sofa and i went for the Logitech MK270 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse, and for the price, it’s pretty solid. The keyboard works perfectly and is really comfortable to type on, No real complaints.

However, the mouse is where this combo loses a star. It’s not as smooth or accurate as my Logitech Pro Wireless (which i was never expecting). For long-term or heavy use, the mouse can get frustrating because it’s just not as precise and feels alittle laggy. But if you’re only using it irregularly or just need a basic setup for occasional tasks, it’s definitely worth putting up with, especially given the price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersItem arrived in good time and was well packaged. Keyboard is much better quality than suggested by the price, but mouse is a little small for my hands, however again, much better quality than the price would suggest. Plug and play, so no programmes to .install and wifi link means no loose cables. On/off switches on both mouse and keyboard means great battery life. Overall a good piece of kit and very happy with this purchase

Good piece of equipment for the price. For first timers like me. You try finding the USB that goes with it. Not in the mouse where there is a dedicated space for it. Not there. Not on the keyboard. So I looked on YouTube and there’s a video on it (so there must be an issue trying to locate the USB). Do not disguard your packaging as it’s been placed on the packaging flap at the end of the box.

I recently purchased the Logitech MK270 wireless keyboard and mouse combo, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The setup was quick and hassle-free — just plug in the tiny USB receiver, and you’re ready to go. The keyboard’s tactile feedback is satisfying, and the layout is comfortable for extended use. The mouse tracks smoothly on various surfaces, and both devices boast impressive battery life. The compact design and reliable wireless connection make this combo ideal for those seeking a clutter-free workspace. Logitech’s MK270 delivers reliable performance at an affordable price, making it a solid choice for anyone in need of a wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Highly recommended!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersUnfortunately, my previous keyboard/mouse combo died and needed urgent replacement. This is cheap but surprisingly good.
Pros: price, able to switch off both keyboard and mouse (saves battery), responsive keyboard facilitates fast and accurate touch typing, instant connection using USB dongle, good keyboard layout including numeric pad, reasonably responsive mouse (but basic and not particularly ergonomic)
Cons: keyboard a bit noisy (compared to my previous keyboard), be careful not to throw away the USB doggle by mistake as not immediately obvious in packaging, keyboard too long to be classed as portable (mainly due to numeric pad – so depends on personal priorities), no wrist support (again personal priorities – size versus functionality)
On the whole a good purchase – especially for the price.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI last bought this combo in April 2016 and wouldn’t have replaced it yet if my cat hadn’t knocked the mouse off my desk and killed it. It survived every other attack but this time it was done for. I decided to buy the combo again as the keyboard was rather grubby. So easy to get going. Just plug in the wireless thingy, remove the plastic strips covering the batteries and make sure both are switched on. Easy peasy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI spend quite a lot of time in front of the computer and I mean more than 10 hours each day seven days a week because of my job and I find this set of keyboard and mouse to be very practical and I have carefully checked before getting it for the keyboard layout to be for UK because I type quite a lot and also I prefer for the enter key to be quite large.

I have tested when I have received the product all the keys and they were just fine and the good part is that I didn’t have to set up the shortcut keys because their automatically recognized by windows and but particularly for my use are very practical because they save a lot of times especially when I have to adjust the volume or to mute it.

What I found really interesting about this product is the fact that it came with batteries for the mouse and keyboard and even though I’m using it for quite a long time, I didn’t have to change these and it is easy to press the keys which I wouldn’t necessarily say that they are the most quiet in terms of sound that they make but I got used pretty fast with it and I consider that the keys are position where they have to and it took me less than one day to get used with them(I type quite a lot and I don’t look at the keyboard when I do so).
The mouse is responsive enough and easy to press the buttons also the wheel is stepless but there something that I have experienced, the usb key which is inside of my pc, it is at the distance of around 2 meters from the keyboard and mouse and it happened for a couple of times to lose a bit the signal and here I mean for the most not to be that responsive when I moved it and I had to press some keys twice in order to get what I want it.

Overall this is a really good set which I enjoy using everyday and I hope it will last for a long time.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersI’ve been providing these to my customers for around 5 years now. I’ve probably supplied 200+ in that time and have not had a single complaint. For PC’s that come with USB keyboard and Mouse, I swap these for the wired ones as it makes for a nicer PC experience and looks a lot better than having wires across a desk.

The keyboard has a reassuring feel that when typing you know that you’ve pressed the key.

The mouse is not too big, not too small and works beautifully from a range of around 8 feet.

Battery life is around 2 years from the duracell batteries provided in the box.

In the time I’ve only had one that turned up with a faulty transceiver, which was replaced by Amazon the next day.

Overall, I beleive this to be the best value wireless keyboard and mouse set on the market at around 20. If you have a bit more money, go for the MK330 which is aestetically more pleasing but I don’t feel is worth the extra. Happy to recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPurchased this set as wanted to get rid of wires clogging up my workspace. Instead of purchasing separately a wireless mouse and keyboard thought juts have one set with one single connector (usb that will connect both peripherals). Found this set quite ergonomic, just the right size for good usability. All commands/clicks on the mouse or keyboard have a smooth execution (would not expect anything less from Logitech product). I would recommand as it is good quality. If at sale price, even better!

I can always rely on Logitech.
I needed an affordable wireless keyboard and mouse and this was a fantastic option.

Really pleased with how they both perform.

I would recommend this if you are looking for something basic and effective.

Does as intended. Not had many issues with this but sometimes both the keyboard and mouse cut out, unsurprising due to it being 2.4 but still gets the task you need done.

Decent keyboard and mouse combination at a good price. Not the most ergonomic keyboard but does the job for a standard set up and it’s handy having both keyboard and mouse wirelessly linked to the same, single Bluetooth USB transmitter.

Given all the positive reviews, this is clearly a great kb +mouse combo for the price. I got unlucky though and had to return them. The flex in the keyboard isn’t unreasonable at this price level but I also had an overly sensitive F1 key. Just picking the keyboard up or moving it was enough to trigger it. As many apps use the F1 key, I was getting unwanted windows and offers of help constantly. Others are unlikely to be so unfortunate.
Other than that it isn’t bad to type on. My only gripe would be the lack of numlock indicator. Odd given that there is a capslock indicator. The mouse feels lightweight and is basic but will work fine for most users.

Just plug in the dongle, free the batteries and you are away. I am very pleased with this keyboard and mouse and would buy it again. I think that if you were writing all day, you would want a quieter keyboard, but for home use ~1 hour a day. I find it to be perfect.

  23. Johannes Brug says:

Works well out of the box – no complaints with that. The mouse is very light & the curser therefore swings about quite a bit & sometimes needs pressing very firmly to copy/paste etc. but that’s probably personal preference. More annoying is the caps on indicator is very very faint, difficult to tell which it is. It was quite cheap so I would say value for money all told.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGot legs at rear to raise keyboard slightly. good layout. Pleasant feel to the keys.
Can’t really comment for gaming as I don’t do any, although I have a gaming pc for video editing etc.
Mouse so far seems to work well, although mine don’t seem to last long before having problems, we’ll see.
So far after a week or so I am quite happy with my choice, especially as I didn’t have to break the bank to get it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve been using the Logitech MK270 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo for a couple of months now and I can confidently say it’s one of the better wireless sets I’ve used.

First off, the plug-and-play functionality works like a charm, allowing me to start working immediately. The keyboard offers a very comfortable typing experience due to its low-profile keys and standard layout, which includes a full-size number pad and F-keys. A nice touch is the spill-resistant design, which has saved me from potential disaster more than once.

The mouse is equally commendable, comfortable in the hand regardless of whether you’re left- or right-handed. The smooth cursor control it provides has made navigation a breeze on a variety of surfaces.

The battery life is a big selling point – the keyboard boasts a 36-month lifespan and the mouse a solid 12 months. The on/off switch feature is a useful energy-saver, and being able to go months without changing batteries is a dream.

The handy hotkeys for instant access to the Internet, email, play/pause, and volume controls are excellent for efficiency, saving you time when browsing or working.

The only issue I’ve had is with intermittent connection drops for both the keyboard and mouse, which can be frustrating during work. This seems to be a software issue rather than a hardware one, as it isn’t a consistent problem and usually resolves after rebooting the system.

In summary, while it may have its minor flaws, the MK270 is still a great value for its price. Given its long battery life, comfortable design, and overall reliability, I would recommend it for anyone in need of a solid wireless keyboard and mouse combo. Four stars.

Other than that the keyboard works just fine.

I had hoped this keyboard would be quiet but sadly the keys are quite clacky when you type. When you’re on a call it can be very distracting for the other person hearing you tap tapping away.
The mouse is good though and connectivity is great and batteries have lasted over a month so fa

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersFor the price, I don’t expect this to be the best in terms of performance, build quality and ergonomics. However, it works pretty well… once you discover where the usb receiver is hidden!

    DON’T THROW THE BOX AWAY!!!

Check the flap to the box for the USB receiver. I assumed it would be in the mouse. It was not!

Despite it being a full size keyboard, it has a minimised surround, which can make things interesting when handling it, especially if you work with a keyboard on your lap and constantly move it around (not much surround to grab onto).

The mouse is small but with my big hands this isn’t too much of an issue.

It comes with batteries in both mouse and keyboard

Overall for light work it’s fine. I only use this occasionally and would always revert to a wired mouse/keyboard. It’s all down to preference.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLogitech MK270 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo
Replaced an idendtical item about 6 years old.
    Likes:
    Separate row of function/hot keys.
‘Proper’ feel to keys (not membrane or flimsey keys).
    Excellent battery life.
Keyboard software useful enabling redefining of top function/hot keys.

    Dislikes:
The ‘long’ keys (space, +, shift etc) start to mis-queue. By that I mean that they don’t complete their travel when pressed off centre.
Amazingly mouse not software supported by Logitech.
    UPDATE 31/7/2023:
The scroll wheel stops ability to scroll the pointer after 5 mins or so. I have to switch off and the on the mouse to reconnect and restore scrolling. Bizarre. I have several M185s and this has never happened before.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the second Logitech MK270 I received. The first one had two keys which didn’t register and the left mouse button often didn’t recognise a double click. Return and replace procedure very easy and quick. All keys work on this keyboard and it’s a pleasure to touch type. There is group separation of the keys so there’s a definite space between the main keyboard, the direction keys with delete, insert etc and then the number pad. My previous MS keyboard didn’t have this separation with the result that I often hit the insert key instead of the backspace one. The Caps Lock has an indicator on the top right of the keyboard but does not have one for Numbers Lock. Only time I find this a problem is with entering passwords where input is hidden on screen but I appreciate that companies are trying to conserve battery power. It is very stable on the desk and I haven’t experienced any sliding problems with it. Key movement is more than that found on laptop type keyboards and for me, and I would imagine other touch typists, it’s far preferable. I’ve only had this for a couple of days so obviously cannot comment on reliability but initial impressions are good.

The average sized mouse is very comfortable, even for long periods but I should state that I have small hands. It slides on the desk top very smoothly but it should be noted that my desk is black. I tried it on a sheet of white paper and it was completely unresponsive so those with a light coloured desk would require a mouse mat. Left or right single clicks are instantaneous and accurate but double left clicks don’t always register and sometimes have to be repeated. This also happened on the returned set so I assume it’s a general fault and is the reason for a star being deducted. The scroll wheel has slight resistance so there’s no problem of pages shooting up the screen uncontrolled. Apart from the double click problem it’s a great product for me. I use my pc for hours of photo processing so the mouse is in constant use and I have no problem with aching fingers or wrists. As with the keyboard, I have no idea what long term reliability will be like.

My PC is on the desk top so the distance to the receiver is only about half a metre. However, I have tried it out from the other side of the room, three and a half metres and it reacted in exactly the same manner with no dropped characters.

For the price, it’s very good value and I recommend it.

    Update, June 2020:

Mouse decided to make double left clicks when only one required and often taking no action at all or the wrong action with either left or right clicks. The keyboard is still working well so not bothering to return and have ordered a Microsoft mouse instead. Not quite so comfortable in the hand but we’ll see how long term reliability is in due course.
