Really love this mouse, so much so that’s I’ve bought multiple. Please not that the button bellow the wheel is the “scroll wheel click” button. You may hate it but after getting used to it you’ll love it. Only problem with that is that all other mice won’t have it xD. Same problem with the scroll wheel, the smooth scroll is so nice that it sucks to use normal mice. The scroll does have a problem though if it continues to scroll and you click crtl, causing the PC to think you want to zoom in/out. Pretty durable, used daily and dropped quite a few time but still doing strong years after. Be warned it is a small mouse. This does mean (at least for me) that it can cause more overuse injuries when using it intensively.

he mouse wheel is just awkward to use, everything else is perfect, sometimes when you scroll the wheel just keeps spinning so when you hover over something else it is still spinning/scrolling.

This is certainly a go to! If you working long hours on the computer, I’d suggest getting the newer more bulky one. I think it’s the MS 3 or so. It’s probably 1.5x bigger and much more comfortable. But overall I love this mouse. Super handy for transportation. I’m taking it everywhere with me. Super reliable. Had no issues so far. Battery life is amazing! And super quick to charge.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI bought to replace an original Logitech MX Anywhere mouse where after 10 years of hard use the switches in the mouse had finally succumbed to the dreaded ‘double click’.

On the positive side this new mouse has the same nice ergonomic design – not too small like many mice, nicely placed buttons, good scroll with a choice between infinite scroll or ‘notched’ scroll, etc.

The built in rechargeable battery is a positive, and six weeks after its first charge it is still on 50% after a lot of heavy use. However it does mean that the mouse is a lot lighter than the original MX Anywhere that was powered by two AA batteries – that might be a positive or a negative depending on whether you like a light or a heavy mouse.

For those using multiple devices the mouse is great. It will connect to two different unifying receivers (although you only get one with the mouse) and bluetooth connection as well.

That means I can use it with my Windows PC, my Mac mini, and my MacBook Air, with a simple press of a button on the bottom of the mouse to switch between each.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s my first wireless mouse after 20+ years of using computers, so my view may not be the norm.

Let’s start with negatives first – there’s not many:
    – not USB C, which isn’t really fair because it’s an older model. Still charges fast so not really noticeable aside from needing an old cable

    That’s it! Now for positives:
    – very light weight, almost a negative if you like a hefty mouse, but I found I got used to the weight fairly quickly. I’m not a gamer so can’t give feedback in that aspect, but for work and general use it’s great, especially for travel
    – easy switching between machines. The toggle at the bottom makes it very easy to switch from one laptop to another
    – smooth almost infinite scroll that Logitech is known for is still very much in play, with a simple click to enable/disable
    – configurable side thumb buttons. Definitely helps with efficiency not having to switch hands from keyboard to mouse etc

Attached photo with a standard size card for size reference. The small frame did take me a small amount of time to get accustomed to, as the base of the mouse is not nestled against the centre of my palm as a normal size mouse would, but I no longer notice it in day-to-day activities

Without doubt, this is the best mouse I’ve ever used. I previously used a Logitech M560, which was beginning to show signs of wear, and, having read the Amazon reviews of this mouse, I decided to replace the M560.

I’ve been delighted by the immediate response to the programmed buttons, which take me to three specific information sites, but I can’t pass an opinion about the mouse’s functionality for gaming because that’s not of interest to me.

I thought that the M560 was good but this is even better and I’d have no hesitation in recommending the Logitech MX Anywhere to any prospective buyer.

I have a MX Master mouse which I use at home but too big to lug around in laptop bag. Needed something with same functionality but a smaller form factor. MX Anywhere 2S fits the bill.

Comes with a dongle to connect to computer but can also just use bluetooth. 4000 DP so very smooth in usage. Can be connected to 3 different devices. I’ve connected to my laptop, a desktop and my Android phone.

Small enough to be portable and carried in my laptop bag.

I purchased this mouse for one cool feature and that was the turbo scroll function, this is perfect when viewing spreadsheets as it allows me to immediately move pages up or down in no time, far superior to normal mouse scrolls and time saving.

Of course this mouse offers other key features such as multiple device connection, 3 computers can be connected to this and you just press the button on the underside to select the computer you wish to connect to.

Set up is fast and my laptop immediately recognised the Bluetooth 5.0 mouse, no need for a USB dongle although one is supplied and would be needed if connecting to an older computer without Bluetooth 5.0.

The mouse is very comfortable to use for long periods and offers good grip at the sides and is easy on the palm.

Precision is awesome, although I don’t need that much precision, it isn’t a gaming mouse after all but at least I’m not noticing any lag.

Battery wise, well it has a built in rechargeable battery, this is recharged via a Micro-USB input, a cable is supplied, an hour or so and this mouse is fully charged and lasts forever, put it this way, I’ve only recharged this once and after 7 days with at least 5 hours a day use, the battery is still going.

Overall, worth every penny, happy to recommend.

This is a great mouse. The ability to connect via bluetooth is ideal for my Surface Pro 8 rather than relying on a unifying device via USB. So far it has worked on all surfaces without issue. I like the ability to unlock the mouse wheel to scroll rapidly through large documents. It’s also good to be able to pair and switch readily between up to 3 bluetooth devices.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe mouse is numero uno in terms of looks, ergonomics and quality. But what it lacks for that price point is that it’s not a silent mouse. It was advertised to be for working professionals, and being a working professional, I prefer a quiet, relaxing atmosphere but this mouse is too noisy especially the scroll wheel. So if you are like me, go for a silent mouse like the Logi m590 like I did and has all the features that the mx anywhere 2s has.

I have bought cheaper mice over the past few years bu they have always failed in some respect as in the scroller being erratic or buttons failing. I picker this up for 29.99 and wish i had bought another. Battery lasts me around a week of heavy usage and has a DPI of around 4000 for which you need the software to download or it defaults to 1000 which is not quick enough for me. Flies across the screen now with minimal wrist movement. You need to download Logitech options to change the DPI. Battery charges pretty quick too so no worries about being left without a mouse. Perfect size for me as I like a slightly smaller mouse.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPrimary requirement was for a mouse that I could pair with multiple devices, which this mouse does well. I have it connected to two Windows 10 laptops and an iPad. The auto-switch between laptops is amazing – it takes the contents of the clipboard with it when you auto-switch, so you can copy/paste between computers without a flash disk or shared network drive. Switching across devices that do not support the Logi Options software is still easy, by simply pushing a button on the bottom of the mouse.

Moreover, having used it for a couple of weeks now, I simply cannot find a surface this mouse doesn’t work on. It works on glass, wicker table, dressing gown, Very impressed.

Great mouse, very easy to configure and use. It has a very low profile making it ideal for travelling as it won’t take up much space. Despite its slim profile, I actually didn’t find it difficult or uncomfortable to use. I mainly got it for the rechargeable battery, and the battery life so far appears adequate.

I have recently discovered an interest in 3D design and found that the trackpad alone is just not good enough for a lot of the manoeuvring required when using 3D software.
I was originally concerned about the lack of a dedicated middle mouse button and whether or not it would be compatible with the Logitech Options software but once I realised that it works 100% with the Logitech Options software I don’t think I can go to a non Logitech mouse again.
The shear amount of customizability possible with this mouse is amazing. There are some improvements that could be made (i.e. an advanced click that doesn’t just click but also holds if the click is held for more complicated middle button movements) but assigning a middle button to one of the sideways scroll gestures is arguably easier to use than a dedicated middle mouse button for me. The directional gestures also allow similar productivity bonuses given by trackpad gestures for Desktop Switchers like me, which replaces a multi monitor setup when on the move.

Battery life so far has been amazing. I think I charged it once when I got it just over a month ago and it hasn’t touched a cable since, and is still at 90%.

Overall: A great productivity boosting mouse that works amazingly with 3D software and games. It’s the wireless mouse I’ve always wanted and more.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy wife wanted a wireless mouse to use with her laptop and this one seemed to fit the bill. First impressions weren’t great as the box it came in looked a bit scuffed, like it was old stock although not opened, and most of the writing was Chinese, so it felt a bit like a slightly iffy purchase, but once opened the mouse inside was new. It comes with a Logitech Unifying Receiver – a tiny USB dongle which you can plug into your computer and forget all about – which is slotted into a hole inside the packaging. The mouse itself is in a cardboard wrap, so full marks to Logitech for not using loads of plastic.

The mouse works immediately. Plug the receiver into a spare USB port, flick the switch on the bottom of the mouse, and it pairs straight away. It prompts you to install the Logitech Options application but you don’t need to, unless you plan to remap the buttons to suit your own needs. There’s a USB cable you can use to recharge the mouse, and you can use it while charging.

The mouse feels very small to me but my wife loves it. It’s not a gaming mouse but is fine for business use. The scroll wheel is textured and grippy, and if you push down on it it switches into a free spinning mode, which is great for scrolling up and down long documents or websites. Annoyingly, the wheel doesn’t work as a middle-click button, but there’s a small button just below it which defaults to being for gestures, but Logitech Options allows you to switch it to become a middle click. The left side of the mouse has two buttons which default as back and forward, but again can be remapped via Logitech Options. There are no buttons on the right of the mouse. The scroll wheel can also be rocked left and right to horizontally scroll, which is a boon for wide spreadsheets.

All in all it’s a nice mouse, smaller than expected, and my wife loves it. If you’ve got big hands though, or you want to use it for gaming, or you’re a big user of the middle mouse button, you may wish to look elsewhere.

The mouse is perfect, i brought this for my work laptop and my personal laptop and one feature it has is the abilitt to switch between usb to blutooth.
That option is fantastic for me as sometimes i use both laptops at home.
So if I finish work I can just press a button at the bottom and switch laptop.
I prefer this rarher than pulling outbthe USB.

The mouse feelsbgreat in the hand, I really like the design.

Negatives to point out is the mouse wheel is a bit different so this maybe a negative in some way for some people.
The mouse wheel has two setting, you can do rapid scroll or normal scroll and it’s activated by clicking the wheel down. It is different and I dont use the rapid scroll, it always ends up been a bit too annoying but it is good to scroll through lines and lines of data in Excel for example.

Itnhas two buttons on the side that you can program. Yoy need to install the software and you can set buttons to do what you like. It’s really good.

The most important part of the review now…
    The battery…
I use this mouse every single day (limited on the weekends) I use it for 8 hours at work and then some after.
Ive had this mouse for about 2 years and Ive charged it about 5-10 times. Seriously the battery is incredible.
I looked for ages to findna mouse that had a good battery (note this is an internal battery)

You can usebthe mouse with the usb charging cable plugged in.

You do get a warning when the mouse drops below 30%.

It fits perfectly in the hand, it feels good.

It has teo programable side buttons and one one the top. They are handy and you can program them for each application.

I told my girlfriend about this mouse because she had a battery mouse and she is super happy with it.

The price is fantastic, you get serious value for money compared with loads of other mouse products out there.

I bought this mouse because I have had trouble with the one that came with my desktop for a while and was getting fed up, especially as during the Coronavirus I was now working from home.

I didn’t want to buy a cheap mouse as I strongly believe that you get what you pay for, however I didn’t want to buy an over priced one as at the end of the day they all do the same thing.

I did spend a bit of time looking through what amazon offer, as I also couldn’t leave the house and go out and buy one, so it had to be delivered. So I came across the MX Anywhere 2. I preferred one which was larger than the one I was currently using and with customisable buttons, and from the description and pictures this looked the perfect one.

I looked at the newer version which was about 30 more expensive, but there seemed to be no functional differences, apart from the battery life and the sensitivity. I went to YouTube and saw a comparison video which came to the conclusion that the MX 2 was actually the better one, due to build quality and being more affordable.

I went and order it about lunch time and it came the very next day.

I do have very large hands and I can imagine that it fits the average person perfectly, I like a weighty mouse too as it gives me the feeling of actually moving my hand and good quality. What I also like about it, is that it’s rechargeable, which means no more using Duracell or such batteries. I haven’t got an idea of battery life at the moment though. It comes with a free software that allows you choose the function of the buttons including being able to customise the Function of the buttons for specific apps. Lastly, the mouse it’s able to connect to computers/laptops/phones/TVs via bluetooth, however it does come with a dongle that, if I remember correctly allows up 6 Logitech devices, which mean no more wasted USB ports, only 1. You are able to connect the mouse up to 3 different devices via Bluetooth too.

To be completely honest, I don’t really understand why some people are complaining about the scroll wheel not having a proper click. An easy fix for this would be to configure the mouse to have the button that is adjacent to the wheel to be the middle click within the Logitech software.

Overall a very mouse that exceeded my expectations, and an added bonus that it’s cheaper and better than its successor!! Very good value for money!

Over the past 15 years I have tried various mice, track-balls and track-pads. I did quite like the trackball. I travel a lot with my work and my laptop, and generally I hate using the inbuilt trackpad for more than a few minutes. I tried various “travel mice” but found them small and uncomfortable to use.
I have no been using this Logitech Anywhere 2 mouse for around 5 year, and it is all round the best mouse I have used. I do not do gaming.
    – the laser tracking is superb on every surface I have used (I do carry a small roll-up mouse-pad with a wrist cushion, as I find that more comfortable for me)
    – The size of the mouse is large enough to be comfortable to use, yet small enough to be convenient to carry.
    – The on-of switch allows you to extend the life on a single charge (I find it lasts around 2-3 weeks in daily use)
    – the mouse can still be used when plugged and charging
    – the Logitech universal wireless adaptor is excellent (I also have a wireless Logitech keyboard).

The only negative points for me are that :
    – the mouse does not come with a travel case or bag of any type. I bought a basic case off amazon, which works well: ASIN: B07P8PMVL2 ; or ASIN: B01D194V24.

    – there is no set storage place for the wireless adaptor eg inside the mouse, as there was with earlier versions. (but I carry a small 4-port USB hub with my laptop and keep the wireless adaptor permanently in that. I do not keep it in the laptop usb socket, as it can catch when I slide the laptop into my back-pack, and I almost always want access to several USB sockets when working).

The first of those two cases DOES have a dedicated space for the wireless adaptor, but neither will accommodate the charging cable – but my phone uses the same cable connections as the mouse, so when travelling I have that cable with me anyway.

However, it is still my favourite mouse.

Update: 8 Feb 2020: I have just bought an Anywhere 2S. Unsurprisingly it feels the same as the Anywhere 2, it is a few grammes different in weight, but you cannot really notice this.

I feel that it the 2S tracking marginally faster and more reliably/positively than the 2, but there is no dramatic difference (I see from the specs that it has 4000 DPI resolution vs. 1200 with the 2, so maybe I AM seeing the result of that).
The Anywhere 2S has the “Flow” feature to operate with 2 devices – but generally unless that is important to you I am not sure the difference is worth paying extra.

EDIT June 2020: I have been using this mouse daily since I bought it. I am still happy with it. I have noticed that the battery life on a single charge is much longer than it was for the previous model.

I take my mice very seriously and usually have at least 2 in service at any given time, however I usually prefer a full sized mouse even when travelling. Having used this for a couple of weeks I’m fully sold!

Firstly, I LOVE the infinite scroll wheel. If you’re used to this from other Logitech mice you’ll know pretty much what to expect. This one functions just like the MX Performance, in that you press the entire mouse wheel down to activate or deactivate it, and NOT like the MX Master where it’s activated automatically. The latter would be nicer, but either is great when compared to other mice, it’s a feature I struggle without these days!

The other buttons on the mouse work as you’d expect with nice tactile clicks, and even the horizontal scroll (which is done by pushing the wheel left or right) is quite nice and satisfying. Also satisfying are the materials the mouse is made from – everything feels high quality and well built, and definitely justifies the price.

The weight and size of the mouse is really good for portability, though you don’t get the same solid grip as you would with a full sized mouse. It’s comfortable enough for my medium sized hands even for long sessions (I use this mouse at work, frequently for the full day). Battery life is excellent – connecting using Bluetooth (which doesn’t need the included adaptor if your laptop / desktop already has a Bluetooth receiver), I usually go weeks without needing to charge, though I do switch it off at the end of each day. Another very cool feature of this mouse is the tiny button on the bottom which allows you to quickly switch between 3 different devices, so you can use this thing on 3 different machines either with Bluetooth or the Logitech adaptor. Very convenient!

The sensor is really good – the mouse tracks very well on any surface, including glass, which is very useful if you move around a lot for work. For normal office stuff I don’t notice any difference to the MX Master 2S I use at home, however that has a newer, higher DPI sensor, as does the MX Anywhere 2S. For gaming it might be a good idea to look for that. Personally I don’t feel it justifies the extra cost, but the MXA2 won’t be available forever I assume.

All in all this is a very good quality mouse that I recommend without reservation.
