Although these are more expensive than some other brands I feel the magnets are stronger than cheaper ones.
We love these for how versatile they are. My little girl builds with them daily. It’s a good starter set but we have since bought more (of a different brand) to enable larger creations. 4 stars instead of 5 due to price. We bought another set of a cheaper brand and found them to be just as good, and actually the magnets are stronger in the cheaper tiles.
My grandson just loves building with these! I love to see what he creates next.
Gave it as a gift for my niece who loves puzzles. Ended up playing with it for hours (she received it a day prior to this review). Apparently ignored all other presents and stuck with this all day. Pieces are large too so easy for a child of 3 to manipulate.
Also arrived on time. No complaints.
A great toy, very durable. My three year old very quickly experimented with the shapes. He loves cars so that was an initial distraction but now he tries all the shapes. Even tidying up the shapes back into the box is good fun!
Great fun, my 4 and 5 year old daughters love this and play with it regularly. The tiles are sturdy, colourful and fit together well. Only downside is that they are quite pricey, but they are worth it.
These are awesome and versatile. My kids love creating with them
Great! My almost 2.5 year old loves it. The tiles, the car, all are a great hit. I just wish I’d got more pieces now! Maybe for his birthday .
The idea is pretty cool and overall we like our magna tiles. I wish the magnets were stronger . Because the magnets are not very strong a tall construction becomes a bit of a challenge.
Really pleased with the Magna tiles and the service provided by the seller. I emailed once with a query and got a very quick response, it arrived well within the time specified and was well packaged.
They were a birthday present for my turning 3 yr old and he loves them.
They are well made, very easy to use and have endless possibilities. We will definitely be getting more.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both them and the seller
EDITED TO ADD
some 18 months later these are still the most popular toy we have. We bought more last Christmas and they come out most days. They were bought for my then 3 yr old but my 6 and 8 yr olds get as much pleasure from them as he does. They’re not cheap but when you consider how much they’ve been used they’re well worth the investme
he product is amazing and my little granddaughter has had heaps of pleasure already.
disappointed in the lack of packaging though. this was not packed just delivered in the presentation box, which was of course just a bit battered by the time it arrived. this was a gift but had all the labels all over the box.
We bought this set for our Granddaughter for her 3rd birthday. She and her older brother already have a few sets of the Magna-Tiles and they both absolutely LOVE them.
Great product.
What can I say . Expensive but amazing . My kids play with it for hours and I have three kids aged 4-6 and now need three sets so they can build houses for their teddies and don’t have to share a wall !!!
Love this set. Bought for our 5 and 3 year old and we’ve already got lots of play out of these. Quite expensive for what they are – grandad got one set between them for Christmas – and one of them has cracked already. Will probably be adding to the set as only one set of wheels supplied.
Can never have enough Magnatiles! A fantastic open ended toy, played with daily by my 3,4 and 6 year olds. This was a second set to add to those we have already. Love the extra shapes, especially the car and door pieces. A real investment for years of creative play.
Amazing product far superior to any other magnet tile toys we have played with. There was a slight problem with our order and delivery but the seller was lovely to deal with and sorted it all out in time. Would recommend 100%
These tiles are brilliant and there’s a great selection of them. The grandchildren love to make different shapes, a castle, a chicken, a hat. It’s nice to have the wheels section and the arch as it adds a lot of possibilities. The only thing I would say is that I always feel these are so expensive. You don’t get very much for the money.
Our second set of Magna-tiles. Magna-tiles are the most played with toy we own; loved by all 3 of my boys (aged 8 and under). This 48 piece set was a perfect addition to our 100 piece set. The wheels and window pieces are great.
These tiles are a big hit. Our 7 year old had seen them somewhere and decided he needed them. I was a little concerned regarding the age suitability and wondered if they might be too young for him but definitely not. He is learning a lot about 2D and 3D shapes.
It’s a great toy and my kids (and us) love it but I don’t think it should be that expensive. I’d love to buy more but I’d feel crazy if I do it. Still it’s great to see the creativity flowing around us….
Absolutely brilliant. My 5 year old plays with these constantly, whenever a friend comes over to play its all they do. My older children love them too, wish I’d bought these years ago. It really sparks their imagination and is loads of fun, a complete winner. Hideously expensive but worth it.
Bought this for my son’s 4th birthday. Both my children continue to play with these shapes almost daily, a year on with the same enthusiasm as the day they first played with them. Brilliant for all ages in so many different ways. Expensive but worth every penny!
I can’t recommend this toy enough. Bought it for our 2 year old daughter on a whim and she can’t stop playing with it. She makes houses, boats, boxes, churches and anything that she can put her little plastic animals in! Don’t worry about the price if you want your child to be occupied and amused for more than 2 mins! Had it for 2 months now and it’s still her first choice. Am buying more to add to our 32 piece set. I don’t usually give reviews – but this toy is so good I have to recommend it to other parents.
My son was given Magna tiles for his 4th birthday- I wish I’d known about them before. He loves them, and I bought 48 piece set to add to our original set of 32. Magna tiles give kids an early sense of maths through different shapes… he and his friends spend hours building things! They are on the pricey side, and I don’t usually buy expensive toys (when kids usually are more entertained with simple stuff like pots and pans) but these are worth the price. I highly recommend this toy which you can add to, or better, ask friends and family who want gift suggestions to add to over time.
