I fell in love with this thing over the winter even though the Large i bought fits like an XL or XXL when I wear a medium. Still would buy again after a firefighter had to cut it off me following a motorcycle accident.

Heats front, back, and neck. 18v batteries are large but there’s lots of options…. on the vest, on your belt or in a coat pocket. When you’re married to Makita,I think the vest is a good option.

Works good. Thought the battery would be awkward but it wasn’t at all.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersReally pleased with this vest! It’s well made and works a treat. I can’t wait to wear this outside while working, it is a nice temperature heat and easy to use. The only thing I would change is the button to turn the vest on and off – it has a bright light on the button (on the chest area), I would prefer a more suttle light or at least have the light in a more hidden area

Tried the heated jacket a couple of years ago was not impressed this seems a lot better. gila/vest is light weight with stretch panels on the sides. Heat panel across top of back and neck (neck is very toastie) other heat panel across front just above pockets. It is designed to keep your core warm. You can warm your hands if you raise your hands to the top of your pockets. Battery can be placed in pocket in rear or clipped onto your belt/pants. Battery holder also charges your phone. Over a T-shirt you can feel the heat over a jumper not so sure. So far so good happy with purchase. The seller Vermeer GB great service and really fast delivery.
