The Makita DMP180RT1J 18V Li-ion LXT Inflator comes with it’s own 18V battery, which on it’s own is 65!
The inflator is a godsend – not only does it save you money by avoiding petrol station prices, it can save a lot of messy hassle when you experience a puncture on the road. Modern day cars don’t come with a spare wheel and rely on (you) injecting gunk to seal the hole as a stop[ gap before you replace the tyre. Just carry the Makita in your boot on long (or even short journies!) and should you experience a puncture, you can usually inflate the tyre to give you enough to drive to the nearest tyre centre. Blowouts are the exception of course! The 18V battery is one that is commonly used with a lot of Makita’s other power tools and therefore you only need to buy the tool thus saving on the battery cost! Fabulous.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersYou get all the items that you see, I have had cheaper brands but none this quality, it is easy to put in the number you want to fill the car wheels to

The only disadvantages is that you have to hold the button no option of a automatic

Ok, it’s expensive. But it’ll last forever, and having already used it (I avoid petrol station tyre pumps), it’s quick, relatively quiet, light-weight and smaller than most other tyre inflators. You can set the pressure, it has a light, and although you can’t lock the trigger, it’s so quick that you don’t really need it.

Ensure you have the right battery if you’re not buying it with the battery and charger.

As you expect from Makita, excellent quality, masses of power, works brilliantly. I use it for cars, ride-on mower etc.

I bought cheap one before and regretted it, like a toy by comparison and broke after not very long.

Very happy with this makita pump. I have different car inflator in the past the highest the would inflate was 35 psi. Makita inflated my car to 40 psi with no problem. It could have gone higher but I shut it off. Great pump the best I ever had. Would recommend
