This is the second of these coats I have purchased. It’s like wearing a sleeping bag.
It’s so warm and cosy but lightweight too.
Has internal cuffs so no gusts of wind can blow up the arms, internal pockets one is zipped for securing items. The external pockets have zoos too.
Fleece warm lining around the chest and back.
It has a removable fur trim around the hood.
I have machine washed mine (as per the manufacturer’s instructions) it came out looking brand new, dried well no clumps.
I cannot recommend this coat highly enough!
Lovely coat, extremely warm. Shape and length very flattering.
Others have commented that the is hood is huge, that’s true, but when you’re out in the extreme cold it means you can wear a big hat too
Bought for going to krakow coldest place I’ve ever been and this coat was a god send. Still wear it 3 years later and irs as good as new .Well worth the money
Il piumino molto leggero e morbido, isola bene dal freddo e le rifiniture sono curate nei dettagli. Il modello si restringe in vita e slancia, per un po’ stretto, anche nelle spalle, quindi, nell’indecisione, forse meglio scegliere una tagli in pi.
Appena arrivato, non posso che lodare la sua fattura.

Morbido al tatto, leggero in mano, imbottitura ben distribuita, 2 tasche interne e 2 esterne, parte che copre il torace in leggero pile morbido.
Affidatevi alla guida taglie per trovare la giusta misura, considerando se vi vestirete con maglioni consistenti oppure no, (servono le circonferenze ognuno ha una conformazione diversa).
Per quanto riguarda la tenuta al freddo lo tasteremo sicuramente fra pochi giorni.
Escludendo passeggiate al freddo indossando solo un semplice dolcevita sotto al piumino, voglio immaginare, leggendo anche altri recensori, che sar un successo…

Quindi per ora un 4 stelle perch ancora da usare (ma meritava una prima veloce recensione) se sar super cambier con 5 stelle.
Bought this for mu girlfriend for Xmas and she’s made up with it. It’s a lovely item, lovely on the touch, warm, flattering and well worth the money 130 approx in sale. I had been looking For the North Face version but couldn’t find one for love nor money and they are generally double the price if more. So this was an excellent alternative, still a great brand (probably classier than TNF currently) and has the functionality and technical requirements needed. Bought a medium for a 5ft 2inch size 10 female and fits as expected. All in all excellent.
The reviews said the chest is tight and should go one size up. For me is perfectly fine. I have small boobs. I am 160cm so I still stick to my usual size S. I won’t say it’s tight tight. The coat is pretty much wrap the body. So it keeps you warm. For bigger chest, one size up might be ideal.
I was a bit unsure whether to buy it or not as want a coat that’s warm and, long length and light. I am pleased with it. Do size up though. I am 5’1 and 52kg, usually wear size 6-8 and the size M is perfect for me as want it to be roomy for an extra layer just in case.

I am really happy to have this jacket. Ordered M which is my size. Fits perfectly. Order your normal size. The height is great, neither too long nor too short.
We have a few Marmot down coat, and this one is as good as the other ones. Warm, light and sturdy.
Provato con un po’ di pioggia tiene bene, non saprei dire in caso di pioggia forte o neve se tiene lo stesso. Lunghezza maniche e lunghezza corpo va bene, arriva a mezza coscia, come lo volevo per poter coprire abbastanza dal freddo la zona pancia ma al tempo stesso poter camminare senza un ingombro eccessivo sulle gambe.
Imbottitura in vera piuma d’oca (all’inizio qualche piuma scappava dalle cuciture). Le tasche sono comode, profonde e con interno in tessuto che resta caldo a contatto con il corpo, quindi le mani restano calde anche senza guanti. Ci sono due tasche davanti e una tasca interna sul petto, tutte e tre le tasche hanno le cerniere. Si pu andare via senza borsa, c’ posto per cellulare portafoglio ecc lo stesso. Non mi chiaro se l’inserto di pelliccia sul cappuccio sia vera o sintetica/ecologica. Usato per passeggiate anche in giornate di vento a pochi gradi, tiene caldo. Sono magra alta 1,65 e ho preso una taglia M, con maglione grosso sotto ci sto bene, veste giusto.
Qualit ottima, a questo prezzo si comprano giubbotti completamente sintetici, io ne volevo uno con imbottitura in piuma d’oca, acquisto consigliato.
Allego foto giubbotto e delle etichette interne per capire la composizione (imbottitura comunque 85% piuma).
It would of been a nice coat but I ordered the wrong size and it’s far to big, I just didn’t want to send it back. I do like the coat. It feels nice on. Can’t really say about warmth, as I have only worn it once

It is a little boxy, but allows plenty of room for winter layers underneath!
Lovely and very warm coat, only negative is the sizing I am size 14 I found the L fitted but no breathing room so went for XL perfect much more comfortable enough room for jumper and cardigan if needed…..
I constantly feel the cold so treated myself to this coat. Super light very warm and feels like you’ve really spoilt yourself. Very happy!
I love this jacket – I think the description for the ad is exactly what it is in real life. It’s comfortable to wear because it’s light. But more importantly it is so warm. The hood is also really functional as it doesn’t cover the face up to a point where you can’t see anything. Plus you can tighten it as well so it protects your ears from the cold! Think this will be my staple from now on!
Great value for money. Does everything a North Face equivalent does for a lot less money. In fact, the fixing is better.

It’s lightly and quite warm. Fits well. Doesn’t look like expensive but it’s expensive actually.
I’ve moved to a colder place to live so needed a warm outer layer. Although I’ve not experienced snow as yet I’m toasty & warm on the beach wearing this and it’s not too heavy or cumbersome.

Lightweight, run a bit smaller. My wife likes it but normally she wears xs which a bit tight on her chest.
Snug with flattering fit. So cosy. Comfortable hood and wrist cuffs. I love wearing this to walk the dog and I love it when it snows

Recently wore this coat on a trip to Copenhagen in December where temperatures were about 0-2C and it kept me lovely and toasty. Not once did I feel cold! Definitely recommend this coat and would buy a Marmot coat again.
Very warm. I usually wear a Medium, but needed a Large to be comfortable in this jacket. If in doubt, size up!! Kept me very warm in 20 degrees with a cold wind.
After reviews I thought that I should get a size up so I got a large but then felt like I was drowning in puffy-ness so got the small and it’s great! The quality is great and the jacket is crazy warm (maybe even too warm sometimes…!)
It is a very, very warm coat. Not too puffy and comes in at the waist to give some shape. I run cold so it is nice and warm for me.
I saw it, or a similar one, on the tv show Fortitude and thought how stylish it looked.
I was right…… at least one good thing came out of the time I wasted watching the programme!
I am 5′ 7″ tall and, usually, a size 8, and weight 8 stone. The coat fitted beautifully.
The fur hood trim is nice too.
