I’m glad I finally bought one of these, and this one works well.
I specifically bought this for cleaning up dirty/old bicycle transmission parts, chains, derailleurs etc. It’s excellent, but using soapy water or even turpentine substitute doesn’t work well. After abortive attempts with both those I used a carburettor cleaner solution in a 5L bottle (designed for ultrasonic cleaners, and available on here) and you dilute it 10:1. I found I could do about five cleaning cycles of 30mins each before the solution needed changing.
I was fascinated by the chladni shapes on the surface of the fluid, that tells me that sound waves are being successfully generated. And yay, it works! Grease and grime simply fell off the pieces I put in the machine, and after removing and draining I rinsed them in warm, slightly soapy water, then warm water, then dried them off thoroughly before re-lubing lightly to prevent rust.
Re: the temperature control, that works well too, to heat the fluid. But bear in mind (and experience will guide you) that the generation of the ultrasonic waves will also heat the water. So when you set say, 60C at the beginning of the clean cycle, you may find that near the end you’ve exceeded that. it’s not the fault of the machine, you need to learn how the machine works. When the set temperature is reached, the heater will turn off, but the temperature may continue to rise.
One big caveat here with this machine, and it could be a big problem: the machine comes with an EU plug fitted, and it has an earth plate. And the manual tells you the machine should be earthed. Yet, the UK plug adaptor supplied with the machine HAS NO EARTH. That must be a criminal offence? If someone gets electrocuted there’ll be hell to pay. Amazon, you need to sort this out with the seller. IT’S DANGEROUS AND POTENTIALLY A KILLER.
In my case, now I’m happy with the machine I’ll simply cut off the EU plug and fit my own UK plug, with earth connection, and with an appropriate fuse. But many people won’t be happy with doing that, and if they use the machine without an Earth, it’s not double insulated and it has a steel exterior. It’s just asking for trouble.

Ger ifrn sig ett mycket otrevligt ljud s gr inte att vara i samma lokal utan hrselskydd.
En rejl produkt sett utifrn, robust i rostfritt och med ntkorg. Dock verkar temperaturreglering hja temperaturen fr mycket nr tvttens ultraljud gr igng. +5 grader har jag sett.

Maybe the seller can instruct me on where to get an earth pin.

Il semble que ce soit la vibration qui fasse monter la temprature. Donc cela semble normal (?)
J’ai achet cette appareil principalement pour nettoyer des douilles. En 15 min. elle sortent nickel avec un mlange eau/acide citrique, test galement sur quelques bijoux ( eau/savon ) tout aussi concluant.
