Fits on my king-size mattress perfectly, doesn’t under or overhang (although I bought an elasticated under-bed cross-grip to hold it and the fitted sheet in place). Lends a comfy soft cosiness to the bed even when the heating function is not on, and is great at taking the chill off the bed before you get in. Has dual controls, and the connectors are small and slim and sit unobtrusively unlike a previous blanket I had. Heats up quickly (with several heat levels) and switches off automatically (with multiple delay settings). Has a bright blue light when in use which some people may not like, and the light flashes continuously when it switches off after the timer delay which can also be annoying if you are in any way sensitive to light at nighttime.

Warm and cozy bed any time you wish at the flick of a switch. I bought one for superking size bed which means my wife can have a really warm side and I am happy with a cooler side. Don’t depend on my comment buy one and experience for yourself.

    Bought for my son.
Great comfy fleece. Only issues are control is on wrong side against the wall which is not product fault
Also it doesn’t heat the bed up as fast as advertised. Don’t expect quick heat from it. I would have expected better tbh.

My daughter is thrilled with her blanket. She says she is able to put it on for an hour and that warms the bed and gives her time to settle down. The blanket can also be set for up to 24 hours in various settings. She is pleased to have extra bit of warmth for her feet as she does get cold feet. When the blanket isn’t on she says it is soft and comfy to sleep on. It fits her bed just right and we would recommend this blanket.

I have had one of these for several months now, and it has performed well, always retaining its position on the mattress and feeling comfortable. The timer setting is very useful, although the six heat settings are somewhat unnecessary. And it never gets ‘toasty’ warm, only ever staying within a fairly narrow degree of warmth, which some may not like.

Had bought another brand which I thought was great – it still is, but, this is far better for a couple of quid extra when on special. The other one is now consigned to the boxroom bed:).
I love the fact this is on a timer, means if I go out and forget to turn it off I’m not worried it might overheat or something, (I unplug it anyway, when I get in to bed). It’s the thickest electric under blanket I have EVER had and feels more like a mattress topper – which is brilliant. I have an L5 fracture and bulging discs and it’s perfect for what I want and need. Even when it’s off for a good while, because it’s so thick – it still holds the warmth mmm… perfect!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPurchased this blanket back in August 2014 and it’s now November 2019 which means it’s now into its 6th year of use and I mean used a lot, I/we usually put it on the bed around October and use it almost constantly until April/May or even June on 1 year, It gets up to 18 hours use per day as I sleep with it on at setting 2 or 3, I just would not be without it, in fact I purchased another one recently as a spare just in case this one develops a fault after so much use over these many years, yeah sure every now and then I put my elbow on the connector but you instinctively learn to avoid it and it doesn’t bother me or my other half one single bit anymore, This is without a doubt the best electric blanket I/we’ve ever used and I am surprised how little the price has changed after these years, in fact I paid less for the new one than I did for the one we are using both purchased from Amazon, I’m wondering how long it will be before the new one gets used as the one we’re using is working as good as the 1st day we used it, There’s no pleasing some people so you will always get the whingers who if they can’t find anything wrong with it they invent a problem that only exists in their minds and I’ve read a few such reviews for this blanket, I speak as I find that this is a great blanket and worth every penny it cost(s)

Bought the King size dual control and I would highly recommend it. It’s so comfy and cozy, you can’t feel any wires; it’s easy to use, with several settings and heats up really quickly; it doesn’t overheat and you can wash it too. (I have tried it switched on overnight- luxury!) The fit is excellent and it’s kept from moving by the fitted sides, not just that cheap fibre type stuff but, proper material sides that fit a deep mattress easily. If you are in the market for one of these you won’t go far wrong with this one. Go on, you know you want to!

Really comfy and soft electric blanket to lay on. Fits like a normal fleecy fitted sheet would around my deep mattress. Really good that’s it’s fitted as with previous blankets I’ve had weren’t fitted and used to move position regularly. Also my mattress is extra firm so with other electric blankets I’ve owned, I used to be able to feel the wires digging into me as I slept but with this one you can’t feel the wires at all. Doesn’t heat up as fast and isn’t quite as warm as my previous blanket hence why I’ve deducted one star overall but the heat it gives off is adequate enough for me. I only use the top heat of 6 but still enough heat for most people as I’m someone who likes my bed hot. I think the blanket is reasonably priced for the quality.
Would recommend to those who want a comfy fitted fleecy type blanket that heats up to a decent heat level without feeling the wires dig into you.

Hi I bought this electric blanket in November last year, it is only 5 months old , I paid 49 85 for this blanket , and it haven’t been working properly since I have had it, it should be under guarantee I’m sure, also the control gets really hot and I’m afraid to use it in case it catches fire, after working a 12 hour nights shift , I get into bed expecting it to be nice and warm, and it keeps shutting off , there is definitely a fault I’m tbis item , I’m now scared to use it , how can I get a refund , thank you , Jenny

Although this blanket works reasonable well, it fails to come up to the standard of another, older model of the same blanket, we have used for years.
It neither comes up to the same temperature nor heats as quickly as the old one, nor are the controls as well constructed. They feel positively flimsy.
    Rather disappointed.

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersSome people will moan and groan about anything. This is the best I have ever bought and I love the way it fits like a fitted sheet. Gone are the silly blankets that only fit the mattress partly. These fit the whole of the mattress and there is no heat where the pillow goes.
I think all electric blankets are made with the connector on the top right as you lay in the bed. I have a little bedside table and I think the majority of people do have one. The controller fits nicely on there and is no problem at all .
If you buy an electric blanket of any kind you find that the inlet is on the right as you lay in bed. If you fit it any other way then you have fitted it wrong so get it right and stop moaning. If you need to get an extension lead then go get one it is not rocket science.
I fully recommend these blankets and they are so darn comfy too. The wires are thinner yes but not a lot thinner but the thick fleece is just wonderful and comfy. I fit mine on top the mattress and then I fit a normal fitted sheet on top and none of them move about at all, not like the cheap things that you have to tie or use the elastic. These sure are and probably the best you will get.
6 heat settings and number 6 is like a sauna and really so warm to hot.
It incorporates a safety device that will turn off if anything goes wrong but this has a 3 year warranty so, if you purchase one then print out the invoice from Amazon and keep it with the instruction book for 3 years.
I do like the timer on it too as you can set it for 1, 3, 6 or 12 hours.
I have it on a smart socket and I turn mine on with my Amazon Echo. All I say at bed time is “Alexa Good Night” and I have set it up for my bedroom light to come on and my electric blanket and my air purifier.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI have only used this for about ten minutes at a time as I just wanted the chill taken off the bed each evening as it’s only September. on number 3 after ten minutes it felt warm and comfortable for me, that may well not be warm enough when going to bed in Winter but the point being that it heats up quickly. The feet area is noticeably warmer.
It keeps warm for a decent amount of time after switching off and I have a Terry towelling fitted sheet over the blanket. The fitted sheet part of the electric blanket fits really well and I’ve had no problems with it moving at all. The reason i have only given 4 stars is because there is a six inch gap on both sides of the blanket between the edge of the blanket and the end of the heating element which means that there’s a long strip down both sides that gets no heat. I think six inches either side is far too much and in winter that’s going to be a real shock to the system if your leg or part of your body moves on to it and it’s freezing cold.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood deep surround so it’s easy to fit. Control is a bit clumsy and the flex is very long so sometimes you find you have to sit up and scrabble around to find the switch and then, because it is a flat switch it sometimes doesn’t slide easily. Also you need an extension lead if your plug in point is on the opposite side of the bed to the blanket. Quite a lot of wire hanging around! The blanket itself heats up quickly and I would give it five stars if it was not so awkward to use. The controls let it down.

Bought for a 90 year old who was complaining of being cold in bed! Initially she had a few problems understanding the controls, but after she was shown once more and a much larger diagram was drawn for her, she understood it! Got a phone call from her the next day day to say she’d had a wonderful cosy nights sleep and has praised this blanket since! So therefore, I give a five star rating, although I would recommend the manufacturer could enclose a large print diagram of the control, for those with poor eyesight as this would be an extremely useful addition to their excellent product!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood Quality. But…,
Good quality. Well padded and fitting Blanket. But the controller looks to have come from the 1950’s/60’s and is not very intuitively designed. The user having to cycle though all the setting levels in order to switch the blanket to Pre-Heat (Level 6) and then back through the 6 levels to reach the All-Night Settings (Levels 1-to-5) unlike some other manufacturers more modern controllers.? Time will tell how long the Controller/Switch will last.?

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHaving dual controls this is the perfect blanket for us. I can put mine on 1 or 2 just to take the chill off the bed and o/h can have his on 4 or 5 to get his side toasty. Seems to keep warm all night after being turned off too. Usually put it on for 3 hours before bed but having up to 12 hour timer means if I am going to be out till late I can put it on early and know it will still be warm when we get home. Hasn’t made an awful lot of difference to our electric usage from what I can see on the smart meter.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI think they are ideal and would have given excellent apart from the fact that they are handed. We have got single beds next to one another and the hand sets only fit one way so it means either one blanket has to be upside down or one handset has to be on top of the bed. Also the wire to the hand set is so short that the hand set is dangling off the floor. Previous electric blankets have had sufficient length at least so that the weight of the handset has not been left dangling.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThis is excellent. I hesitated and nearly gave it 4 stars because I had to return the first one I got as it was faulty and did not heat up at all – hesitated to re-order in case it might just be the same again. But this time it works perfectly. The reason I wanted to stick with this particular model and not choose a different one as replacement, was because this is the ONLY FULLY FITTED blanket I could find. There were other makes with the cumbersome ties and even one with ties for just the corners, but this one fits like a fitted SHEET, so the blanket is always in its position and no bother having to frequently re-adjust ties etc. Also the fleecy covering is extra snug. Have had many electric under blankets and this is definitely the best I have ever had. Has 6 different heats and 6 different time options from 1 hour to 12 hours. Glad I did re-order and would definitely recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI deliberately left some time between purchase and review, in order to give a considered opinion. This blanket is by far the best I have had. It heats up quickly, heats ALL the bed with no cold spots and is clearly of excellent quality. The padding is great – no wires can be felt, unlike other cheaper blankets. There are only two things that prevent me giving it 5 stars: Firstly, the figures on the control box are teeny-tiny things – elderly people or those with poor eyesight would really struggle to see what heat setting they had chosen, particularly if just waking, and although there are raised figures to compensate (I assume for Braille users) these are, in effect, useless unless you are familiar with touch-reading systems. Secondly, why can’t manufacturers provide a control box which can be inserted on either the left or the right side?

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI was so impressed with the first of these which I bought for my daughter whose bedroom, above our garage, is always cold, that I bought another three for my other children’s beds! There’s no more grumbling about going to bed since their beds are snug, warm and inviting! The only slight hesitation I have (hence 4 stars instead of 5) is that the instructions say the temperature should be left on number 1, the lowest setting, whilst lying in the bed. (The higher settings are for getting the bed to a desired temperature before getting into it, at which point it must be set at the lowest setting). It would be nice to be able to choose a warmer overnight setting for colder nights which is what my husband and I can do with our own heated underblanket which is a different brand. However, on saying that, so far we have had no problems with the blanket and the warranty is reassuring. The kids love their blankets and I feel happy knowing they are cosy on cold nights! The blanket fits our very deep mattresses perfectly and we have never experienced any slippage or bunching. Overall, a fantastic product.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis is an excellent electric blanket – far better than some of its cheaper competitors. It ticked most of the boxes that I required.

It doesn’t wrinkle up with body movement at night and the electrical connection, being at the top edge rather than around the feet area, is very unobtrusive. Because the fleecy finish makes the blanket slightly thicker than most, the wiring is barely noticeable. The heating controls couldn’t be simpler and I have the impression that the bottom third is slightly warmer for the feet & legs.

Having read a great many disgruntled reviews on most of the single electric underblankets currently for sale, I’m convinced that this is one of the best and well worth the slightly higher cost. You only get what you pay for in this world.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHaven’t had an electric blanket since I got married 40 years ago. Have been using it since the weather got really cold a week or so ago. It warms up quite quickly if put on level 6 for about 15 mins before getting into bed. Having separate controls is great, since I like my side on level 5. Have been leaving it on at level 1 for 6 hours and it keeps us snug through the night. Only negative comment is that the instructions for the controls were for another or older model. This was not a problem, since the controls are simple to operate and the general instructions are the same.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersYes this does have a fairly wide unheated section down the middle, but on the size I bought for our super king, we never notice it. Yes, the control does flash like a beacon when the timer is complete, but tucked well down the side of the bed is has never woken us up. Those two things apart it is a good blanket and very comfortable on the bed. The spot where the wire joins the actual blanket is less bulky than on other good makes we have had, and is rarely an inconvenience.

AFter much market research we replaced a different dual control blanket with this one 6 months ago. Would I buy it again? Yes, probably.
    Pros:
Easy to fit. It is effectively a fitted sheet over our mattress and fits perfectly. No slipping around or strings to mess about with every morning.
Perfectly comfortable. I can’t say we’ve noticed the “lump” where the cable joins the blanket as mentioned in other reviews.
Dual controls work well, but the there are too many temperature settings – we use only Max and Off.
    Cons:
Takes much longer to warm up the bed than our previous model. (Hence the Max or Off settings)
The blue light from the controllers is unnecessarily bright – you can navigate the room by it at night.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersPreviously I bought a kingsize Dream Intelliheat blanket for our 6′ zip and link bed. This may have been overoptimistic but the Dreamland was useless, as the heating elements did not start for 16cms from the edge, making it more suitable for a single bed. I then bought this Monogram and whilst the elements still don’t go completely to the edge it is much better. This blanket is fitted and will fit a 6′ zip and link perfectly. Additionally the Monogram heats up much quicker than the Dreamland. If you are undecided between a Dreamland or a Monogram, just choose the Monogram even if it costs a bit more.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersI purchased this after a lot of research when my existing, and very old, Monogram electric blanket finally failed after giving excellent service for about 20 years!
This has been used regulary now for about 4 months and, so far, it has been without fault. However, it remains to be seen if the life of these newer blankets can get anywhere near the older versions.

    Pros
    Warms the bed quite quickly.
    Comfortable.
Fits our 10 inch deep mattress.
Mains cables are a good length at about 90 inches overall.

    Cons
Two minor niggles – and the reasons I have only given this 4 stars (4 1/2 stars would have been more appropriate):
    (1) There is a thick metal doughnut-shaped object where each of the cables fastens to the blanket, this happens to be where your arm may sometimes rest and, therefore, can occasionally cause slight discomfort. This is an odd design feature! I am sure that the manufacturer could re-position this in a future model.
    (2) The blue light on the control switch is rather bright and may disturb some people if left the control is left switched on. One solution is simply to twist the control and cable around to point the light away from direct view. Works for me!

Over all the quality is what I expected and I can certainly would recommend purchase.

UPDATE JUNE 2019: Still very pleased with this purchase. The only issue continues to be the unpleasant lumpy
cable connector placed near the head of the bed near the shoulder position. I still recommend it.

Very nice and cosy i recommend it for the chilly and cold nights of Winter for a nice warm sleep. Bed stays pleasurable warm for both of the users . Only one negative matter , the blue light of the function mode is a bit annoying and distracting during the night when all is dark and the flashing mode is more bothering when the set program mode ends ,it won’t stopped this flashing blue beam you must do it manually (that’s means waking up) , i would prefer to be done and this automatically.

i researched long and hard before buying this blanket; it’s on the expensive side but so far seems to be well worth it. It fits the mattress a treat and does not seem to slip, as is always the case with the tie-on ones I have hitherto used; the connectors are marvellously compact and situated where they do not seem to make their presence felt to either of the bed’s occupants; the heat covers the entire mattress from just below the pillow area; the 1-6 heating controls can be operated in the dark if necessary as each one gives a definite click. We haven’t tried any setting yet apart from the up-to-one-hour preheat. Also we don’t know what effect this blanket will have on our electricity bill but expect it to be not great. The blanket claims to be washable but I just don’t think I would dare! Since I am reviewing this within little more than a week of purchase and immediate use I cannot comment on its mid-term reliability, but one of the things that decided me to choose this blanket was the three-year guarantee (most have only one): this has given me great confidence. I would love to report back later.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersThis is an excellent blanket – the first I have ever had in which you don’t feel the wires. It heats up rapidly as required (on setting 6) and is sufficiently mild on the other setting – at no point is it too hot. I give it only 4 starts for two separate issues
    1) The controller is on the wrong side of the blanket for me and causes all sorts of problems trying to access it. Why not have two insert points – left and right – to facilitate everyone?
    2) the blue light is much too bright. I have been wakened by it several times and have had to cover it with tape.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis blanket is made of a lovely cosy fleece fabric that covers the top of the mattress but sadly the side panel that is supposed to fit and hold the blanket securely in place with any surplus fabric tucked in under the mattress is made out of a poor quality fabric that has no grip or elasticity to hold it in place so does not do as it says. My mattress is 24cm deep so the side panel is not deep enough to tuck in. I find the blanket rucks up and has to be flattened out every day and the side panel pulled down the sides as far as they can go. I am really disappointed with this aspect of the blanket and as my bed is king size it’s a time consuming exercise to have to undertake each day. I feel this has let the blanket down badly as it’s other features are fantastic. It does take a little bit longer to heat up than stated but that aside the timer is really good as I can climb into a warm cosy bed and go to sleep knowing that the blanket will switch itself off at a time which I have chosen and set it to previously.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersgood quality blanket, generous sizing, it fits a king size bed easily, dont have to stretch it like some cheaper ones. Also does not move about in the night, its still in place when you wake. Again not like cheaper ones that ‘creep’ and need refitting when you make the bed next day. Only 4 stars because it claims to heat the bed in only 10 minutes but the reality is it takes at least an hour. However the bed is uniformly heated after that and a joy to get into on a cold night. Recomended.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersProduct arrived quickly, and was very easy to set up. There is an inch and a half gap in the centre which was stated on the product description. Item was not as warm as I thought it might be, but still nice and cosy, the fitted sides are of a good size, easily fit our 9 inch mattress, and would definitely fit a 10 inch mattress. Quite expensive but unlike others we looked at, it does come with a 3 year guarantee. So far happy with purchase
