Monogram by Beurer Komfort Heated Mattress Cover – Dual Control | Fully fitted with deep elasticated skirt | Machine washable | 6 temperature settings | Extra soft & breathable | Super King 180x200cm

Dual Control
The easy-to-use controls offer 6 temperature settings with a rapid heat-up time of just 8 minutes. And the best part is that thanks to the dual control, 2 people can share the blanket at their own ideal temperatures without disturbing each other.
Superior quality
The thick, fleece fibres offer additional warmth and comfort and eliminate the chance of your underblanket disturbing you as you turn in your sleep.
Stays in place
The deep elasticated skirt fits to your mattress just like a fitted sheet so you can be sure your underblanket will stay-put through the night.

Fits on my king-size mattress perfectly, doesn’t under or overhang (although I bought an elasticated under-bed cross-grip to hold it and the fitted sheet in place). Lends a comfy soft cosiness to the bed even when the heating function is not on, and is great at taking the chill off the bed before you get in. Has dual controls, and the connectors are small and slim and sit unobtrusively unlike a previous blanket I had. Heats up quickly (with several heat levels) and switches off automatically (with multiple delay settings). Has a bright blue light when in use which some people may not like, and the light flashes continuously when it switches off after the timer delay which can also be annoying if you are in any way sensitive to light at nighttime.
Warm and cozy bed any time you wish at the flick of a switch. I bought one for superking size bed which means my wife can have a really warm side and I am happy with a cooler side. Don’t depend on my comment buy one and experience for yourself.
Bought for my son.
Great comfy fleece. Only issues are control is on wrong side against the wall which is not product fault
Also it doesn’t heat the bed up as fast as advertised. Don’t expect quick heat from it. I would have expected better tbh.
My daughter is thrilled with her blanket. She says she is able to put it on for an hour and that warms the bed and gives her time to settle down. The blanket can also be set for up to 24 hours in various settings. She is pleased to have extra bit of warmth for her feet as she does get cold feet. When the blanket isn’t on she says it is soft and comfy to sleep on. It fits her bed just right and we would recommend this blanket.
I have had one of these for several months now, and it has performed well, always retaining its position on the mattress and feeling comfortable. The timer setting is very useful, although the six heat settings are somewhat unnecessary. And it never gets ‘toasty’ warm, only ever staying within a fairly narrow degree of warmth, which some may not like.
Had bought another brand which I thought was great – it still is, but, this is far better for a couple of quid extra when on special. The other one is now consigned to the boxroom bed:).
I love the fact this is on a timer, means if I go out and forget to turn it off I’m not worried it might overheat or something, (I unplug it anyway, when I get in to bed). It’s the thickest electric under blanket I have EVER had and feels more like a mattress topper – which is brilliant. I have an L5 fracture and bulging discs and it’s perfect for what I want and need. Even when it’s off for a good while, because it’s so thick – it still holds the warmth mmm… perfect!
Bought the King size dual control and I would highly recommend it. It’s so comfy and cozy, you can’t feel any wires; it’s easy to use, with several settings and heats up really quickly; it doesn’t overheat and you can wash it too. (I have tried it switched on overnight- luxury!) The fit is excellent and it’s kept from moving by the fitted sides, not just that cheap fibre type stuff but, proper material sides that fit a deep mattress easily. If you are in the market for one of these you won’t go far wrong with this one. Go on, you know you want to!
Really comfy and soft electric blanket to lay on. Fits like a normal fleecy fitted sheet would around my deep mattress. Really good that’s it’s fitted as with previous blankets I’ve had weren’t fitted and used to move position regularly. Also my mattress is extra firm so with other electric blankets I’ve owned, I used to be able to feel the wires digging into me as I slept but with this one you can’t feel the wires at all. Doesn’t heat up as fast and isn’t quite as warm as my previous blanket hence why I’ve deducted one star overall but the heat it gives off is adequate enough for me. I only use the top heat of 6 but still enough heat for most people as I’m someone who likes my bed hot. I think the blanket is reasonably priced for the quality.
Would recommend to those who want a comfy fitted fleecy type blanket that heats up to a decent heat level without feeling the wires dig into you.
Hi I bought this electric blanket in November last year, it is only 5 months old , I paid 49 85 for this blanket , and it haven’t been working properly since I have had it, it should be under guarantee I’m sure, also the control gets really hot and I’m afraid to use it in case it catches fire, after working a 12 hour nights shift , I get into bed expecting it to be nice and warm, and it keeps shutting off , there is definitely a fault I’m tbis item , I’m now scared to use it , how can I get a refund , thank you , Jenny
Although this blanket works reasonable well, it fails to come up to the standard of another, older model of the same blanket, we have used for years.
It neither comes up to the same temperature nor heats as quickly as the old one, nor are the controls as well constructed. They feel positively flimsy.
Rather disappointed.
I think all electric blankets are made with the connector on the top right as you lay in the bed. I have a little bedside table and I think the majority of people do have one. The controller fits nicely on there and is no problem at all .
If you buy an electric blanket of any kind you find that the inlet is on the right as you lay in bed. If you fit it any other way then you have fitted it wrong so get it right and stop moaning. If you need to get an extension lead then go get one it is not rocket science.
I fully recommend these blankets and they are so darn comfy too. The wires are thinner yes but not a lot thinner but the thick fleece is just wonderful and comfy. I fit mine on top the mattress and then I fit a normal fitted sheet on top and none of them move about at all, not like the cheap things that you have to tie or use the elastic. These sure are and probably the best you will get.
6 heat settings and number 6 is like a sauna and really so warm to hot.
It incorporates a safety device that will turn off if anything goes wrong but this has a 3 year warranty so, if you purchase one then print out the invoice from Amazon and keep it with the instruction book for 3 years.
I do like the timer on it too as you can set it for 1, 3, 6 or 12 hours.
I have it on a smart socket and I turn mine on with my Amazon Echo. All I say at bed time is “Alexa Good Night” and I have set it up for my bedroom light to come on and my electric blanket and my air purifier.
It keeps warm for a decent amount of time after switching off and I have a Terry towelling fitted sheet over the blanket. The fitted sheet part of the electric blanket fits really well and I’ve had no problems with it moving at all. The reason i have only given 4 stars is because there is a six inch gap on both sides of the blanket between the edge of the blanket and the end of the heating element which means that there’s a long strip down both sides that gets no heat. I think six inches either side is far too much and in winter that’s going to be a real shock to the system if your leg or part of your body moves on to it and it’s freezing cold.
Bought for a 90 year old who was complaining of being cold in bed! Initially she had a few problems understanding the controls, but after she was shown once more and a much larger diagram was drawn for her, she understood it! Got a phone call from her the next day day to say she’d had a wonderful cosy nights sleep and has praised this blanket since! So therefore, I give a five star rating, although I would recommend the manufacturer could enclose a large print diagram of the control, for those with poor eyesight as this would be an extremely useful addition to their excellent product!
Good quality. Well padded and fitting Blanket. But the controller looks to have come from the 1950’s/60’s and is not very intuitively designed. The user having to cycle though all the setting levels in order to switch the blanket to Pre-Heat (Level 6) and then back through the 6 levels to reach the All-Night Settings (Levels 1-to-5) unlike some other manufacturers more modern controllers.? Time will tell how long the Controller/Switch will last.?
It doesn’t wrinkle up with body movement at night and the electrical connection, being at the top edge rather than around the feet area, is very unobtrusive. Because the fleecy finish makes the blanket slightly thicker than most, the wiring is barely noticeable. The heating controls couldn’t be simpler and I have the impression that the bottom third is slightly warmer for the feet & legs.
Having read a great many disgruntled reviews on most of the single electric underblankets currently for sale, I’m convinced that this is one of the best and well worth the slightly higher cost. You only get what you pay for in this world.
AFter much market research we replaced a different dual control blanket with this one 6 months ago. Would I buy it again? Yes, probably.
Pros:
Easy to fit. It is effectively a fitted sheet over our mattress and fits perfectly. No slipping around or strings to mess about with every morning.
Perfectly comfortable. I can’t say we’ve noticed the “lump” where the cable joins the blanket as mentioned in other reviews.
Dual controls work well, but the there are too many temperature settings – we use only Max and Off.
Cons:
Takes much longer to warm up the bed than our previous model. (Hence the Max or Off settings)
The blue light from the controllers is unnecessarily bright – you can navigate the room by it at night.
This has been used regulary now for about 4 months and, so far, it has been without fault. However, it remains to be seen if the life of these newer blankets can get anywhere near the older versions.
Pros
Warms the bed quite quickly.
Comfortable.
Fits our 10 inch deep mattress.
Mains cables are a good length at about 90 inches overall.
Cons
Two minor niggles – and the reasons I have only given this 4 stars (4 1/2 stars would have been more appropriate):
(1) There is a thick metal doughnut-shaped object where each of the cables fastens to the blanket, this happens to be where your arm may sometimes rest and, therefore, can occasionally cause slight discomfort. This is an odd design feature! I am sure that the manufacturer could re-position this in a future model.
(2) The blue light on the control switch is rather bright and may disturb some people if left the control is left switched on. One solution is simply to twist the control and cable around to point the light away from direct view. Works for me!
Over all the quality is what I expected and I can certainly would recommend purchase.
UPDATE JUNE 2019: Still very pleased with this purchase. The only issue continues to be the unpleasant lumpy
cable connector placed near the head of the bed near the shoulder position. I still recommend it.
Very nice and cosy i recommend it for the chilly and cold nights of Winter for a nice warm sleep. Bed stays pleasurable warm for both of the users . Only one negative matter , the blue light of the function mode is a bit annoying and distracting during the night when all is dark and the flashing mode is more bothering when the set program mode ends ,it won’t stopped this flashing blue beam you must do it manually (that’s means waking up) , i would prefer to be done and this automatically.
i researched long and hard before buying this blanket; it’s on the expensive side but so far seems to be well worth it. It fits the mattress a treat and does not seem to slip, as is always the case with the tie-on ones I have hitherto used; the connectors are marvellously compact and situated where they do not seem to make their presence felt to either of the bed’s occupants; the heat covers the entire mattress from just below the pillow area; the 1-6 heating controls can be operated in the dark if necessary as each one gives a definite click. We haven’t tried any setting yet apart from the up-to-one-hour preheat. Also we don’t know what effect this blanket will have on our electricity bill but expect it to be not great. The blanket claims to be washable but I just don’t think I would dare! Since I am reviewing this within little more than a week of purchase and immediate use I cannot comment on its mid-term reliability, but one of the things that decided me to choose this blanket was the three-year guarantee (most have only one): this has given me great confidence. I would love to report back later.
1) The controller is on the wrong side of the blanket for me and causes all sorts of problems trying to access it. Why not have two insert points – left and right – to facilitate everyone?
2) the blue light is much too bright. I have been wakened by it several times and have had to cover it with tape.
