Quality of the phone is excellent.long battery charge. Easy to use and reliable.
I bought this phone for my dad, and he is super happy with it as it is quick and easy to use.
It is a very good phone. The phone was easy to setup. the phone is easy to use
Very happy with the phone. I use it for basics so can not go into it’s uses.
Good phone easy to use and great price, very happy with it so far.
It’s worth the price tag but it is quite slow at processing some simple tasks. There’s a significant delay trying to open apps. The camera is acceptable in bright natural daylight but can’t perform under artificial light at night. Battery life is good. I’ve had this since the start of January and it’s still on the pre installed android security update from September, I assume at this point that the phone just simply will not receive any updates. It’s a shame because it means I’ll need to buy a more up-to-date phone soon if I want that peace of mind.
Nice phone and fast battery life is long that grea
Fantastic value for money. Works really well. I am a big fan of Motorola
Motorola continue to produce clean bloatware free android phones that do a great job and don’t break the bank. If your after a slick android that will keep doing the basics most non gamers want from a phone I don’t think you will be unhappy with Motorolas budget phones. If you do have some more demanding apps it may struggle but for most it does a great job .
I bought it for my husband who is not tech savvy, he really likes it. It’s excellent value for the money and does what a much more expensive smart phone would do. I have a Samsung and I would consider having one of these on next upgrade. Phone, messaging, Google, WhatsApp, FB, Instagram, etc. I would say it fits the bill for the majority of phone users.
Purchased three of these on black friday for my kids for less than a hundred notes, who up until now had been using my old phones from years gone by. These are very big, and fast enough to run all their games including Pokemon Go. It can even play Fortnite using Xbox Cloud. They have a finger print reader too. Amazing value.
Bought for the mother in-law. She was anxious about getting a new phone but after I set it up she soon got the hang of it. She says the battery lasts her a few days. Quality is great. For a light user who wants an ok camera etc you can’t go wrong for such a low price.
Phone was 99.9% perfect. It had a v small 3mm scratch on side of the screen which I never notice in operation as one needs a magnifying glass to find it.
Packaging, delivery excellent.
Only comment is I wish you did the Blue version!
Such a good deal I bought a second for a family member.
Only issue I’ve had is no bardcode scanner built into camera – You will have to install google lens for it.
Other than that, it’s half the price of samsung’s budget phones for better features. Fingerprint Scanner is better than samsungs also.
90Hz on a budget phone is also a very welcome feature for smooth browsing
With four teenage daughters we have gone through a few phones over a few years and really like the Moro G series (avoid the E series). This is the best yet with improvements on battery and camera and will buy again.
I’ve had a number of moto phones over many years and all have been totally reliable. I stick with the budget phones as they do everything I need well. My last was a g8 plus now retired but still working fine. I decided to upgrade to the g22 as the price and spec looked tempting. I read a whole bunch of reviews ranging from ok to poor. Went ahead and bought anyway and delighted I did. It runs android 12 which has some nice new features.
I don’t like the adaptive brightness so just switched it off and loading some apps can be a little slower than optimal but look at the price! Graphics are a little lower than my g8 plus but hardly noticeable and sound is mono. On the plus side everything else. Beautiful large screen, lightweight, battery lasts a long long time. I like the fingerprint reader on the edge of the phone. I don’t use the charger supplied but the 15w charger that came with my g8 and it turbo charges quickly. If you want all the bells and whistles you can pay more but at this price point the g22 is a bargain. Streaming channels work fine and smooth. Note also that prices have fallen and now even cheaper.
So disappointed with the Camera on this Motorola g22. The video quality is especially poor being grainy with very poor colour perception. The phone works ok but the camera is truly awful. I also find it heavier than my old Samsung Galaxy but that’s the price of a bigger screen. It was the camera I had hoped to upgrade when I bought this Motorola but it has been a significant downgrade.
I have been using Motorola mobiles for a few years now, my last one lasted me nearly 4 years, for the price I have no complaints. I only use it for emergencies and to check emails etc, it does everything I need it to do. , it maybe a little bit “laggy” but as I am one of the older generation, it is perfectly quick enough for me!! Thank you to Amazon who reacted very quickly when my first mobile was stolen in transit, they quickly refunded my money into my Amazon account so I was able to order another one straightaway and my second one was delivered really quickly. I am disappointed Motorola do not include a protective cover anymore, for what they cost it would be a nice gesture, but it wouldn’t put me off buying another Motorola.
Well, so My old Motorola One Macro surrendered, and I needed a cheap phone what won’t be terribly slow. I must say im absolutely amazed with this phone for a pricetag it have. Mediatek chip in here is based on aged already A53 cortex core, but it does run quite well. internal memory is very decent, 4gb of RAM leave quite a headroom, 90hz screen is especially great, as phone feel very smooth. Fingerprint sensor on a button is very easy to operate. Didnt played with camera yet but so far few pictures i made was very sharp.
Downside of this model is that it fall behind in performance comparing to my 2019 One Macro, but only slightly, GPU is surely weakest link, but nobody should expect to have good gaming performance from 140 phone. I spend few days looking at phones at similar price tag and this motorola just cant be challenged in any department. there is nothing budget in feeling of this phone, I would say that it can be comparable to plenty of other phones in range of 250-300.
battery life is another amazing feature of this motorola phone, after full charge to 100% and spending hours downloading all my apps and transferring data to a phone, it dropped to 85%. with my normal usage of a mobile, I think i wont need to charge it for 2-3 days easily.
I’ve not had it long so am unable to comment on very much. It’s not too big or heavy. Really like the added security of the fingerprint reader. The cloning was a little tricky for me as I am NOT tech savvy. Unfortunately not all my WhatsApp messages transferred. I’m sure I will eventually really like it.
