I think they are really nice work well, looking forward though to seeing them in the Autumn when the nights pull in. Look good quality, work well and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

This solar wall light seems reasonably well made and comes with attachments for mounting it on a wall. Fitting it is quite a simple process. It comes with instructions. It is smart with a more traditional lamp look. The light is plastic, so it is quite light in weight. I have the light on a south-facing wall, so it gets what sun there is and it charges effectively so far. It has three modes of operation, I tend just to use it as in the mode where it is off if there is no motion, but full bright light when motion is detected. This works well and the detector does detect motion well. It is not the brightest of lights but is good for providing light when I arrive home in the dark so I can see to unlock the door, or for security while out.

    Good Solar Ligh

This is an effective solar light, with a good motion sensor. It is easy to install and can be set to stay on all night if that is your preference. It’s a good size and design, but it is only plastic, so looks and feels a bit cheap.

Works even on dull days, I was amazed this actually had any power to light up after a few rainy days but it did give out some light maybe not 100% more like 50% but that is still bright and functional.
From a distance looks like a traditional retro metal lamp which is great, it;s not until you get up close you see it is plastic and solar powered which isn’t really problem.
Nice and light weight, installation is super easy,do read the instructions, don’t be like me and think it’s faulty because i hadn’t turned the solar power button on, it’s just a small button which is shown in the instructions so do read them.
Fantastic range of motion sensing and once fully powered on a sunny day and very bright, great value for money.

This was a little fiddly to get up on the wall but didn’t take that long to get done.

It’s a little flimsy but works well enough if it’s had enough sunlight stored in it.

It’s not the brightest light when it comes on at night, but it’s enough to light the area around it sufficiently so you can see what you’re doing.

This is a basic plastic outdoor light. it’s easy to install and use. The idea is to place it somewhere it will get sunlight (so not under a tree etc) and it will run on solar power. It does what it says on the tin really. They automatically start to work once the sunlight disappears. Would recommend.

Now, don’t get me wrong, this is a great little security light. I don’t mean ‘little’ in a disparaging sense. I just mean it doesn’t take over the wall. I love LOVE that it’s solar powered – this is really easy to activate, it’s a question of pressing a button. You might, according to the instructions, want to place it in direct sunlight for 6-8 hours before first use, but I didn’t give it anything like that long. I get overexcited very easily, it turns out. And it worked just fine for me right from the off.

It’s not constructed of the most hard-wearing materials. It’s all plastic, all the time, but this makes it lightweight and easier, no question, to install than any of the old-school metal jobs. The sensor works really well. I’ve fitted mine about seven feet up on a back wall and it can read any of my little dogs (I have miniature dachshunds) walking within twelve to fifteen feet of it, and I’ve had mains-powered security lights that don’t pick up the dogs, so this is awesome.

As I understand it, this is available as a two pack. The two pack, at the time of writing, is just shy of 50, with this single unit on for 32.99. Honestly, I’d go for the two pack. As much as I love the single I got, I think it’s pretty pricey, but once you allow for the savings on the two pack, it’s much better value for money. Now, it’s quite possible you only need one. A fair point. However, even if you don’t have a friend or family member who could do with your spare, I’m pretty sure you’ll find a neighbour who’ll be impressed with yours and willing to take the second off your hands.

Speaking of neighbours, because they’re worth considering: mine are in no way bothered by my security light. It’s bright enough that I can see what I’m looking at, but not so bright as to be a nuisance.

    Highly recommended.

Very pretty and easy to install, it’s very helpful to have a light that automatically turns on when approaching the entrance.
    It feels well made
In terms of pricing it’s not the cheapest but you can really feel the quality and it’s well designed so in my opinion is worth the money

This light is a little bit smaller than i thought it would be so check the measurements for the size of it , It does have a cheap feel and look to it if I am honest but overall it is a good light, The fitting could not be easier and once up it does look nice, It is not over bright but enough to light a entrance way etc , the motion sensor picks up well and even though we a are in the winter months the light seem to be lasting all night on the charge using mode 3 so it only light on motion detection, You do have 3 modes to choose from including dim and then full brightness on motion detection or just a just dull constant light and I think it will work well in mode 2 in the summer when it will charge the solar panel more

    Nice glowing ligh

It works as described, and looks as pictured. How robust and long-lasting it is, is open to question. It’s made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) which is hard wearing, but I thought ABS was liable to damage by strong sunlight, which would be a serious problem for a solar-powered product. But I see other similar products on the market made from ABS so I suppose they must have found a solution to the problem. I am happy with it because it works (all 3 modes) and looks good in place in my back garden.

I received this solar light for free as part of the Amazon Vine Programme.

This is a beautiful solar light! I love the classic style of it and it fits in beautifully with the garden! It is easy to set up and gives off a beautiful bright light! I also like that you can use this as a motion light too and tempted to get another to put outside the front door. The only downside is that it is pretty pricey for a solar light!

I had the opportunity to evaluate the Solar Wall Lights Outdoor Garden, and overall, I find it to be a solid product that offers a number of benefits.

The design of these lights is both attractive and functional. The retro LED lights emit a warm white glow that is both pleasing to the eye and provides adequate lighting for outdoor spaces. The motion sensor feature is also a nice touch, providing an added layer of security to the home.

The lights are also incredibly easy to install and operate. They are completely wireless and run on solar power, eliminating the need for any electrical wiring or external power source. The three different lighting modes allow for customization depending on the needs of the user.

The waterproof feature of the Solar Wall Lights is also a significant advantage, as it allows them to be used in all weather conditions without fear of damage or malfunction. This makes them an ideal choice for outdoor spaces such as gardens, patios, and front doors.

While there are some drawbacks to this product, such as occasional inconsistencies in brightness levels, overall, the Solar Wall Lights Outdoor Garden are a solid investment for anyone looking to add a touch of charm and security to their outdoor spaces. Their attractive design, easy installation, and convenient solar power make them a top choice for homeowners looking for an affordable and efficient outdoor lighting solution.

This Nod fens brand solar wall light is in for the long term with its estimated 40000 hours of life.

It is a well designed and robust wall light.

To my eye it is let down a little by the ‘twee’ crystal top light with detracts from the overall good styling.

The features, the light rate, detection modes solar power and the like are impressive but at over 30 for one lamp you would expect this. The two pack is of course much better value.

Rather than cut and paste you cab read the impressive specs for your self.
Nor will I remind you that you need to ensure the charging panels are exposed to sunlight.

I would really advise you to really take a long look at the overall design to see if you can live with that ‘twee’ light at the top of the lamp then decide if it is right for you.

Really nice light for front of house. Easy to attach to wall just make sure you put it somewhere you’re going to get the sun and not under a canopy or over door frame.

The light comes on by its self at night and and recharges in the sun during the day. Easy to keep clean.

Going to get some more for my fence at back of house

    Really nice ligh

The light is all plastic and does feel plasticky too. The control is by a single button which you press repeatedly to get the different modes. However there is no indication which mode you are in, so you just keep pressing it until it seems to do what you want. The lamp emits a reasonable amount of light, but of course nothing like as much as a wired-in electric light. I would liken this to a 5W electric filament lamp.

Mounting couldn’t be easier – all you need to mount to a wall or a post is supplied.

The solar panels are discreetly built into the top of the lamp and there is a little decorative crystal on top that lights up too. At night it looks good (if a little dull even at ‘bright’ setting) and probably would be best as part of a pair or a set of such lights (as you only get one light).

Nice looking plastic lamp. Not very bright though and single button control can leave you guessing.

This is a nice looking wall light. Very lightweight to the point of being on the flimsy side but it is easy to install and has the added bonus of being solar powered. I haven’t permanently mounted it yet but has temporarily mounted it in order to review. I doesn’t gain a full charge during these shorter daylight hours but does function exactly as expected. I fully expect it to hold a good charge during Spring, Summer & Autumn months.
    So far so goot though.

The Nodfens outdoor solar wall light is visually attractive & provides restrained local light, perhaps equivalent to about a 25 to 40 watt old-style incandescent mains-powered bulb. The light does not appear very robust; however, as long as the plastic does not become brittle through prolonged sun exposure, it should last well, as it is not liable to corrosion.

The little, amber, diamond-shaped decorative element on the top of the light frame remains lit dusk ’til dawn. The main ‘filament’ LED bulb gently lights the surrounding area dimly, or reasonably brightly, according to the program settings described in the advertisement on the Amazon website. I did not, however, find it easy to select the lighting program I wanted by the pressing of the single rubbery press-switch adjacent to the motion detector near the top front of the light; not all my presses of the switch seemed to register & move the program selection on the next setting, so it was hit & miss as to what program was operative until I could observe the light in action in the dark.

This light is not particularly expensive &, in my opinion, it provides adequate value-for-money. It is certainly more attractive in appearance than most modern outside lights, &, once programmed, works entirely reliably.

We live in the south of England, about 9 miles north of Bournemouth. We have quite a lot of solar lights in our garden and dotted around the house.

We installed the item on a summer house facing south where it has uninterrupted access to sunlight throughout the year: so it does get as much sun as it can. The issue with this light, as with most solar products of this type is that during the winter it simply does not receive sufficient light to recharge it sufficiently to provide consistent quantities of light.

There are three settings for this light which are accessed via a simple switch:

Constant Light – Some value in the summer perhaps, but not in the winter
Dim to bright – a constant dim light, increasing in intensity when triggered by movement
Bright when triggered by movement – we are using this setting

The intensity of the light is pretty good via the LED bulb. It isnt very bright, but bright enough to illuminate the doorway of our summerhouse.

It is constructed from ABS type material and I am a little concerned that the material will fade very quickly, but being very simple to fit, replacement should be relatively easy. I anticipate that we should get 3-5 years use out of it before the batteries deteriorate to the point that it needs to be replaced.

Priced at 32.99, it is a nice, decorative light. Simple to fit and it does generate power to charge the batterie, but should not be placed in an area of high activity during the winter as it will not generate enough power to recharge.

    I really like this lantern.

    It has 4 settings:
    On Dim
    On Bright
    On Motion Sensor
    OFF

The option to turn this on or off on a button located next to the motion sensor.

The light is a Warm White colour.

The lantern has a really nice traditional look to it.

It is powered by the sun’s energy which it collects through the solar panel throughout the day and powers on after dusk.
Charges up even in the dull cloudy winter days in the North-West of England!

No wiring. No electrical feed needed.

There’s nothing to not like about this lamp.

The look of this is very authentic for a plastic solar sensor light .
The Edison type bulb looks nice and stylish I’m not so sure about the amber crystal affect light on the top though .
The bonus of having three solar charging panels a positive.
I tried it out of the wall Mount as light contamination from other sources didn’t show the brightness up in the video very well ( also it was hard not to trigger one of my other sensor lights ) . For me personally I wouldn’t use it as a security light but more a more cost effective and environmentally friendly way of lighting up a porch or walkway in the garden as the design doesn’t spread the light effect it enough for that .

A very good range on the senso

I really like this. Installation is a cinch as it’s just a case of screwing the wall plate to the wall and attaching the light to the bracket – if you push hard enough it will click into place to prevent it being blown off by high winds. What is super nice though is that it can be easily removed from the bracket and moved to another area of the garden – for example a table if you are sitting out one evening.
It has a number of light settings that can be adjusted using the on/off switch. The settings are – on constantly once darkness falls, Dim to Bright sensing mode which means the light stays dim unless it detects movement and it brightens for 17 seconds and Off to Bright sensing which is the same as the prior description except that the light is off before triggered by movement.
The build quality is good and the lantern also has a transparent underside rather than just the side panels so it will light below. It looks really nice and gives out a decent light which isn’t blinding so it’s not going to light up a whole patio area but it does look very classy.
It is a tad on the pricey side though at a penny shy of 33 although the double pack is cheaper and brings the average cost down.

This is a great little lamp fits well on my porch so I can see going down my path as the light on the streets are out early now, What I like is it has a sensor motion, so as soon as anyone passes or comes down the path the light goes on.
It’s easy to fix and needs no electricity for it to work. It looks really nice too not too large, I had the black one with Ivy which is lovely. I thoroughly recommend these lights great if your elderly and need to see down a path or garde

This is a lovely bright lamp. It is easy to fix to an outside wall and is run on solar power. You have a choice to have it constantly on at night, turned on by motion detection and then slowly fade, or again from motion but switching off after 17 seconds. I only got the one lamp which is a lot of money at 32.99- however if you buy a set of 2 then it is 49.99 which works out at 25 each. This is much better I think. It is a good quality lamp and worth the 25 definitely.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely lamp but expensive if only buying one.

I requested this item after a recent break-in attempt and hopefully it will help deter would-be thieves in future though I must confess to having a few doubts as to how long this will last. It’s constructed of plastic and does not feel terribly weighty, though I guess it may be more likely to stand up to the damp Welsh weather than glass and metal would. The style is a bit old fashioned but preferable to the purely utilitarian look that I normally associate with motion-activated security lights. The solar panel is incorporated into the design so it’s not at all obvious, which is a nice touch. It does arrive with enough charge in it to test it which is always nice. The other solar-powered security light I’d got from Amazon has a USB port for charging in cloudier weather, which would have been a nice touch but sadly does not feature here. On top of the lantern is a small crystal finial which also illuminates but I’m not sure I actually like this feature as for me it does make the whole thing feel a bit more plastic-y. My main concern is over the mounting bracket, which is also plastic and the light simply slots into it. Although it feels like a relatively firm fit, we do get some high winds and extreme weather and I am not confident that it’s enough to hold this lantern in place. Only time will tell and I will endeavour to come back and update the review if my fears turn out to be well founded. A single one of these lanterns (it does come well packed in a branded box) is currently priced at 32.99 which does seem a little high to me for an item that doesn’t feel particularly sturdy.

My husband installed these himself. The instructions were very easy to use following the manual. No annoying wires to worry about and came with the screws to fit. I had him fit them at the front of the house. As they are solar powered they are free to run. They do create a lovely warm glow at night. I love their design.
