Bought for elderly mum to care for elderly dad. The mechanisms to fold down and extend are really smooth and easy- this is not the case with many other products.
I would prefer a rigid pole to hook over the bed frame to hold in place but the strap does work when tightened.
Very pleased with this item. Confident it will keep my mum safe. Slight shake when fully extended due to mechanism but perfectly secure. It has made a huge difference to us
I have Fibromyalgia and have to have pills to help me sleep, sometimes I sit up and fall asleep I then either fall to the left or to the right. These bed supports have saved me from serious injury many times. I felt embarrassed using these but I am glad I made the right choice.
The product arrived without tools. My partner, who has Parkinson’s and has fallen out of bed, twice, managed to put it together himself, which was just as well, as they took two days to get here. It works very well and we are happy with the result.
Bit fiddly to assemble but not difficult. Happy with the product, like the ability to extend it, and to turn it down.
Excellent use on my elderly mums bed as she had been falling out at night. She and I feel happier and more secure that she won’t fall out of bed, easy to use.
Bought for my nanna who has dementia & kept falling from bed. Worth every penny! Simple to assemble & took very little time to attach to the bed. It was delivered just 2 days after ordering, very satisfied with this product and would recommend 🙂
Easy to assemble, folds down which is useful for bed making etc. Adjustable in length to suit use. Has pockets which are handy to put a book, glasses etc in. Very good product, but you can’t fold down while lying in bed for understandable reasons.
Excellent product. Well made and sturdy. I was a bit unsure prior too ordering but it fits on the super king bed without being unstable. Worth every penny. Wish I’d found it earlier. Highly Recommended.
We bought our first one for my wife, who has “REM Sleep disorder” – something that means that she sometimes acts out bad dreams and, in trying to escape, jumps out of bed while still actually asleep. In doing this she has caused herself some injuries, so we searched around to find something that would protect her from more serious damage.
The bed has a slatted base, which is not ideal for the rail, but we simply cut up the cardboard box it arrived in and used that as a flat base on top of the slats. Job done.
The rail folds down during the day, and extends easily when in place.
To be 100% safe, we bought a second one for the other side of the bed, and also a pressure mat alarm.
The key thing is that it has made her feel safe when going to bed. The rails aren’t too obtrusive.
Recommended for this use, and for more normal usage.

Very well built, easy to assemble and it works. I bought this for my elderly mother who had several instances of falls from her bed and subsequent injuries. We have had the support rail now for some weeks and, as yet, no falls. Very well engineered and well made. Very pleased
This piece of kit keeps my Husband safe all night. It has given me peace of mind knowing he cannot get out of bed & fall. Worth every penny. Thank you.
Also, the supports on the side of the bed (rail) stick out enough to give rise to concern of injury. Could be considered dangerous.
I do however now feel safe in bed after having fallen out few times.

Solidly constructed. After a series of falls I have been greatly reassured and have no hesitation in recommending it to everybody with the right model of bed. To date it has saved me from one fall and I am certain not the last.
Perfect for our requirements as mum was falling out of bed. A bit more expensive than we really wanted to pay but worth it as very functional and does the job very well.
Draw backs, I have a 11 inch deep mattress but the two pivot points when sat on the bed tend to stick into your legs if not careful so any not so deep mattress’s care needed. Have turned the bars around (see main picture) I now have pivot/locks down other end , also a bit awkward to get to the locks when wanting to fold down as mattress is in the way. Solo operation difficult.
Marks: 8/10 does the job.
